Top 5 scp men?

You'll find this list is weighted pretty heavily towards anomalies than staff members. I tend to not actually care all that much about staff/senior staff, for a few reasons, but I probably won't get into them here. Anywho, this list isn't in any particular order.

SCP-2800, Cactusman, the Spiked Menace. I'm a fan of characters that keep getting back up to get the shit kicked out of them, and Daniel, the poor guy, fits the bill. His 'powers' are also plainly pathetic, but even so, he keeps trucking on, even with his internal struggles. Generally, it's those two tropes that endear me to him, and the rare win he gets in his article is nice.

SCP-4051, even if he is a bootlicker. Deepwell isn't for everyone, obviously, and while I tend to not like the articles in it, Rainer's story was something that stuck with me. It's the 'emotionally abusive Foundation' trope done very well, and Rainer is the perfect mark for it.

Dr. Robert Scranton, of SCP-3001 fame. Yes, this is one of the most positively received articles on the wiki, and the debate over what deserved the 3000 spot aside, this article is generally worth the hype. It was one of the first things I'd read that made me cry when I read it (though the first would be Flowers for Algernon when I read it on a whim in grade school when I had nothing else to do in study hall). Some of Robert's lines in this stuck with my far longer than any other character on the wiki.

Skunkboy, from Clef's GOC tale series. I know you asked for SCP men but I'll be real, not many come to mind that I feel all that strongly about. Though the series isn't the most tightly-written thing on the wiki, I still enjoy it and feel like Sparkplug deserves to be in more articles. I like Skunkboy's more brotherly relationship with Spider, and while he's the comic relief of the group, it never gets grating. You may remember him as the guy who got flashbanged and then repeatedly kicked in the balls by Iris.

Probably Aleksander Foxx. I wasn't too fond of him in the original Resurrection run until Calm, where he's a huge dork who sees twenty-somethings the same way he sees his elementary schooler daughter. An incredibly dangerous assassin who really doesn't feel bad about killing or anything but is just concerned about his daughter's college fund and making his coworkers like him is a fun character.

Happy Birthday to Yvonne Murray, Scotland’s most successful track athlete who turned 58 today.

The seemingly wee fragile lassie from the honest toun of Musselburgh, won matching set of gold, silver and bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games and the European Championships indoors and out, this has never been equalled by any Scottish athlete.

I was talking to a friend from Musselburgh a couple of weeks ago  and Yvonne’s name came up, he told me she had a tough childhood, growing up in a working class household  and against the odds ended up being educated at Musselburgh Grammar School and became a world class athlete.

Her trophy cabinet also includes Olympic 3000 metres bronze and world indoor gold, two World Cup golds, two European Cup silvers and a bronze. Her career embraced a remarkable catalogue of Scottish, UK and Commonwealth records and titles. There is a bone of contention about her Olympic bronze, the gold medal winner  Tetyana Samolenko, running for the USSR, was exposed as a drugs cheat five years later, and despite appeals to the International Olympic Committee (IOP), was never stripped of her medal.

Although she continued to race until almost 2000, injuries eventually hastened her retirement after an extremely successful career. Yvonne Murray-Mooney (her married name) was inducted into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame in 2007. She is now an inspirational athletics development coach with North Lanarkshire Leisure and is involved in promoting the International Children’s Games.

Yvonne recently spoke about how she suffers from anxiety and depression and cite, but for her Husband, and her daughter and family, would not be with us today. She never leaves the house without her husband and in 2019 said “It’s an ongoing process, it’s day by day, but I’m slowly but surely getting better.” We wish her well in her recovery and hope she has had a good day.

She added: “I don’t go out on my own. I find that quite traumatic. When you suffer from depression and anxiety the last thing you want to do is go round a supermarket or a shop.

"The lovely thing is that people are saying ‘how are you, we haven’t seen you for ages, how are things going?’ Yvonne’s decision to speak out has been praised by mental health charity, Lifelines Scotland.

I sincerely wish her well with her depression.

While the death of Cary Lu (who’d written a Microsoft-branded book about the Macintosh at its inception and gone on from there) had to be acknowledged, Steven Levy was joined by Cameron Crotty for the annual “Game Hall of Fame” (as Andrew Gore’s editorial insisted “The Mac is a great game machine.”) Andy Ihnatko’s column did have to explain it was going away with the “MacUser” section even as he compared “Amelio and his predecessors” to “the Horror of Party Beach and the rest of those rubber monsters wandering through the movies on Mystery Science Theater 3000.” At the back of the magazine, David Pogue’s column presented “It’s a Wonderful Machine,” where Jimmy Stewart as Steve “Jobs” Bailey, after “Uncle Gilly” loses $1.7 billion from his “beleaguered but beloved small-town computer company,” has to be rescued by the guardian angel “Claris” and then shown what would have happened had the Mac never been around (although for all that I appreciate the homage, I have seen counterarguments that someone, somewhere, would have managed to get the Graphical User Interface paradigm out of Xerox PARC and on to some sort of platform.)
