Dream place to live? somewhere nice and calm. he hates conflict, drama, and anything that's super… draining. he seems like the kind of guy who'd like to have a chilled out life because he's been through so much already and it doesn't help his headspace any at all.

How do they feel about love? weird. very weird. he doesn't know how to deal with it.

Smells like? deodorant. overpoweringly like deodorant half the time. otherwise he just smells like clean clothes. but he sweats a lot, and he slathers on deodorant so no one smells his nasty stress sweat, so he just exudes Man Deodorant scent. nasty fucker

Bad habits? biting his lip, biting the inside of his cheek, pacing, overthinking, losing things

What turns them off? unreactive partners, that's probably about it. i was going to say shit but we all know kei is a poopy poopoo ass 

Pet peeves? being laughed at, passive-aggressiveness, cattiness, people who chew with their mouths open, people who don't mind their business

Personal problems? his sadistic thoughts are the biggest one that comes to mind. he also has a major issue of not believing that he is a good person and taking the intrusive feelings/arousal and enjoyment he gets out of this as being an intrinsic part of who he is. he doesn't recall his trauma at first but even after he remembers it i doubt he'd tie it back to his fucked up thoughts. he believes that he's just a sick fuck and deserves nothing and that he's bound to give in sometime, and that's just… untrue. 

he doesn't treat himself well and while he isn't exactly the pictured stereotype of bad self-esteem (boo hoo im so bad and i hate myself im a sadboy) he definitely has garbage self-esteem internally. like he beats himself up to the point of breaking down often and he overthinks this. 

he obsesses over it rather than just accepting it as something that he can't help; the fact that he enjoys it makes it extremely hard for him to treat it as an intrusion upon his psyche. keisuke believes that he is at his core a horrible person and in that he is self-sabotaging himself. 

Religious and to what extent? Any spiritual beliefs? probably not.

Kind of student if they attend/were to attend school? (e.g. class clown, straight A) he seems like a complete straight-edge student. i feel like he'd finish all of his assignments but he could fall behind sometimes. i feel like he wouldn't outwardly be a troublemaker but he would entirely have issues at school despite being very smart, he would probably have classic symptoms of trauma despite not recalling it; memory loss, lack of interest, inability to focus, and so on. he would try his best but ultimately need to work harder than everyone else to stay afloat.

What is something other people assume about your character? most people assume he's just a boring average dude, if not a little bit odd or quiet. he always has his hair in his gotdamn face so like he kinda looks like an emo kid

Jester Lure: A Massive Character Questionnaire

Here’s a long list of questions and answers detailing Jester Lure, the lead character in my book A Fool’s Endeavor and the upcoming A Fool’s Golden Cage. The questions were taken from Charahub, a website for creating and tracking characters that was unfortunately shut down. Thankfully, a kind soul saved the list of questions- so here we go!

Short Description: Name: Lure or Jester Lure by title.

Pronounced: Like lure usually is- “Loo-er”.

Age: Early twenties.

Extra: Nickname: None, just Lure.

Occupation: Court jester to the princess of Acalathoy, full-time jester.

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Physical Description: Usually seen wearing a full jester ensemble of navy and cyan, fit with hat, gloves, and boots. Wears a gold and ivory colored mask that fully covers his face. Underneath his costume, he has sienna skin- affectionately called ‘cinnamon’- and soft brown hair that is usually bedraggled from his costume. 

Personality: Lure is vibrant and full of life, with a sarcastic streak and an ounce of wit mixed in. He tries to keep things optimistic even when his words portray him as a bit more cynical than that. He can be reckless at times, but is smart enough to prefer talking himself out of a situation before jeopardizing himself, and is rather good at it. There are parts to him that are sly and cunning, but Lure is not without morals, and he is very loyal to those who become close with him. He relishes his job as jester and holds his title with pride, but begrudgingly accepts that few others respects his role. He loves his young princess and enjoys the life he has with her, enough so that he is able to stifle the desire he has for travel and adventure. (Though if given the proper means, Lure will throw himself into an adventure without much preparation and find a way to stay on his feet.)

Fandom: A Fool’s Fables (A Fool’s Endeavor, A Fool’s Golden Cage, ect.) 

Sexuality: The only person Lure’s been attracted to has been another man.

Voice: Naturally warm, going between cheerfully chirp to dead flat to go with the mood.

Back Story: The backstory Lure spreads is that he was found by the queen as a baby, who was so endeared by him that she took him in and raised him as her personal jester. Sadly, the queen passed on shortly after the birth of her daughter. Lure became the princess’ jester to help make up for the lack of a mother figure. Even though the king wasn’t entirely fond of him, he helped raise her alongside the nursemaid who helped raise him.

Ongoing Story: In A Fool’s Endeavor, an attack on the castle led to the king being killed and the princess being kidnapped. Lure went on a foolhardy quest to rescue her, joining up with Apprentice Balsam, Sir Morrick, and Hunter Yves. In A Fool’s Golden Cage, Lure will be afflicted with a strange ailment and need to journey for a cure, again accompanied by his companions.

Likes: Music, Astronomy, Astrology, Divination Cards (Tarot), the overall act of jesting, reading fables, extravagant costumes and colorful fabrics, roasted pheasant and pastries, feeling like he won an argument, traveling, his close knit group of allies, tending to his princess, and being able to witness extraordinary things up close. 

Dislikes: His costume getting destroyed and needing mending, ‘peasant food’ such as sop and gruel, ‘evil’ jester stereotypes, loss of control or choice, his princess being upset, and stagnation. 

Strengths: Lure is athletic and acrobatic, and knows some self-defense techniques. He’s capable with a dagger, which he always keeps in his boot, and by the second book begins bringing a poleaxe with him. However, Lure’s greatest strength is his ability to find ways around direct fighting. If he can find a way that avoids direct conflict then he will take it. He also uses a more theatrical persona to convince others more easily, usually to mislead or get assistance. 

Weaknesses: Lure can be a bit reckless and get in over his head without considering the repercussions. He’s also of slender build and wears no armor, meaning that if confronted head on he has a mark disadvantage.

Favorite color: Blue, all shades.

Kind of clothing: As said before, Lure typically wears a navy and cyan jester costume. He has a few of these, most in the same colors but with different patterns on them. Instead of typical jester shoes, he wears leather boots, and typically carries a card pouch at his waist. 

What element would they be?: Fire. Burns warmly, glows brightly, and doesn’t handle water too well.  (At least, at the beginning of the first book.)

Theme song: Lure might write his own, but personally I could see ‘The Show Must Go On’ or ‘Seven Seas of Rhye’ by Queen.

Deadly sin that best represents them: Maybe lust- not in the typical sexual sense, but that lust for life and his job in life being to literally entertain and enthrall. 

Hobbies: Divination Card reading, instrument playing, reading, and dabbles in astronomy and alchemy at times. He also enjoys playing games like chess, cards, and backgammon.

Special skills/talents: Lure is a gifted virtuoso, learning how to play the harp and lute at a young age. As such, he can pretty much work with any string instrument and make some form of music, even if it is new to him. He’s also good with making up song lyrics on the spot. There are other various things, such as juggling, tumbling, and various ‘jester’ acts that would be expected. Knows some self-defense. 

Patience level: Depends on the circumstances, but Lure’s capable of grin-and-bearing through many situations if the need comes. If in a situation where it doesn’t matter what he says, he will willingly speak his mind.

Regrets: During A Fool’s Endeavor he regrets letting the princess get captured, even when he truly tried to protect her, but gets over it by the second book. Lure’s not the type to linger on past stakes after they are no longer relevant.

Favorite places: Lure has a few special places. The princess’ bedroom and playroom is one of them, as this is where he spent most of his time in raising and playing with the young girl. The courtyard is also a place where he frequently gets away to. Even though introduced to it at a poor time in his life, Lure is fond of Alchemist Coffcord’s home. It is the only ‘quaint’ home he would prefer over the castle setting.

Role model: He looked up to both the queen and the king while growing up. 

Favorite foods: Roasted pheasant, venison, tarts, pies, mousse, freshly baked bread, rich cheese, sugared and glazed nuts, and fruits such as figs, plums, and pomegranates. 

Favorite book: He loves fairy tales, fables, and legends that he can read and then retell to others later.

Mode of transportation: Across the books he’s used various means of transportation- mostly walking- but he knows how to ride a horse.

Weapon: Keeps a dagger in his boot that he got from Balsam. During the second book, Morrick gives him a poleaxe to defend himself.

Smells like: herosmellslike.com claims Lure smells like ‘spring water and desert’, so lets go with that.

How do they feel about love: Lure has experienced familial, platonic, and romantic love and is for all three. As cynical as he is, he makes bonds with people and then does all he can to keep them.

Least favorite color: Dull grey or sunken brown- if it is worn out and faded. 

Home town/Where they live now: the Kingdom of Acalathoy

Makes a living by: Being the court jester and personal playmate of the princess.

Fears or phobias: During A Fool’s Endeavor, Lure copes with a fear of water and drowning, but he slowly overcomes it and faces it by the end of the book. One of his biggest fears is, ironically, to lose his title of a jester and be forced to the life of a nameless, faceless jester.

Race, ethnicity and nationality: Lure is a citizen of Acalathoy and of mixed ethnicity, with his mother being fair skinned and his father having a darker skin tone. Music they listen to: He likes most kinds of music, but especially likes flute music- perhaps because it is the one instrument he has limited access to and is completely unpracticed in.

Bad habits: The closest thing would be Lure’s pickiness with food.

What turns them on: He’s excited by displays of strength and passion, but also has an extreme soft spot for those who are willing to show a gentle hand.

What turns them off: Romantic-wise, he is not interested in anyone like himself, ironically enough. He’s also disinterested in ‘stuffy’ people who lack passion in something.

If they transitioned from their world to ours, how would they react: Lure would put on a bright face and be full of quips, all while withholding the inward horror that none of his survival tactics would work here... Though he would probably like how accessible entertainment is. 

Religious and to what extent? Any spiritual beliefs?: There are various religions in Lure’s world. He worships one that may be titled ‘Fateism’, which worships the Creator, Death, and Fate. While Lure is not overly religious, he does seem to believe in some divine being.

Pet peeves: The biggest one would be the constantly passed around belief that jesters are evil and shady. Though he also doesn’t like narrow-minded folk or people unwilling to listen to reason.

Personal problems: Lure must constantly wear a mask to hide a secret that isn’t just his.

What ONE item would they take to an uninhabited island: Probably his dagger. It has so many uses.

Outlook on life: A cynical realist, Lure actually has a positive outlook, believing that it is worth fighting for a better life.

Most important person in their life: Even with a romantic partner and friends, Princess Vivianne would still be the most important person in his life. He does all he can to protect her and keep her happy.

What was your character like as a child: He was attentive and well-behaved, listening closely to his queen and learning everything she taught him.

What (if they can) does your character eat: Usually whatever the princess is dining on or served to the court.

What is something other people assume about your character?: That he’s evil, both in story and out of the story. That evil jester plot point is tough to shake. XD

Do they like the name they were given: Lure loves his name so much that the fake name he occasionally uses, Cajole, is just a variation of his own name.

Nervous habits: He tugs at his collar when he gets flustered or overheated.

Siblings: Short answer: Yes.

Wears jewelry: Only if the mask counts.

Have they ever wanted to commit suicide: Never. Even at his lowest point, with his princess gone and his home destroyed, him at a loss and running out of options, Lure was desperate but unwilling to give up. He will risk his life for the slim chance he can succeed, but he is not suicidal.

Close friends: Balsam would be Lure’s closest friend. Their clashing personalities fill a void that each of them has and over the course of the books they become almost like brothers. Though Lure might worry Balsam at times, but he also guides him to be more bold. Likewise, Lure trusts Balsam’s word and is the first to assure him that he is more skilled than a simple apprentice.  Morrick originally start at odds, but then they start to acquire a mutual respect and understanding. Which then involves into something deeper and less friendly. While Yves is largely standoffish with everyone, Lure and Yves do become friendly and respect one another. They also share a similar interest in dry humor. Elia is the nursemaid who Lure has been close with for years, and is more of a motherly figure than a friend. In the same vein, Lure seem to look to Coffcord like a grandfather figure.

First kiss? (when and with whom): Spoilers: . Lure’s first kiss was with Morrick. If counting non-mouth kisses, his first is one Morrick gives him on the neck while on board a ship to Olaylark. The first true kiss would be between Lure and Morrick in an inn not too long after this. 

Views on gambling, lying, killing, etc...: Lure’s views on morals are not black and white. He makes playful jokes about those who give into temptation, but he doesn’t show real disdain for them. While he doesn’t think highly of lying and stealing, he is willing to do either if it is a situation where the greater picture is more important. Especially if it might lead to a life or death situation. While Lure believes self-defense is justified, him actually having to kill someone would horrify him- as seen in the first book. 

How much do they value money: Because of Lure’s circumstances- growing up in a court without much need for it- he sees money as just a tool and a means to an end. When in the castle, he’s willing to hand over shillings without care. Outside the castle, he’s willing to perform and tell fortunes to make shillings if it means supporting him and his allies.

Wants to get married: A private ceremony would be fine with him.

Wants to have kids, raise a family: He pretty much raised the princess, but he wouldn’t be against raising a ward or orphan offered to the court. Chances of him having his own children are unlikely.

Sworn enemy: None anymore.

Is their name a pun of anything: Lure’s name is literally a play on entertainment. That being said, the name Lure can be a stand-in for the name Leroy, which means ‘the King’. This was something I found out after naming him, so it wasn’t on purpose. XD

Anyone they really hate: During the first book, he despised the King of Olaylark, who was the one who attacked his kingdom and took the princess.

Most traumatic experience: Even with the horrible attack on the castle, the death of the queen is still what he considers one of the worst periods of his life. Largely because of how quickly she passed.

Favorite holiday: The Feast of Fools, a jester themed holiday that falls close to what we would see as Christmas. Slightly different than the Feast of Fools from our history, the day is seen as a celebration of merriment, playfulness, indulgence, and gift exchange.

This is just basically a whole ass post about Ami’s backstory through God Eater. I actually had a more fleshed out writing about it, but charahub died and it pretty much went with it. My toyhou.se kinda has it but I kinda had to scramble and it’s like word vomit so yeh.

You can skip it if you want, it don’t matter. Also SPOILERS FOR LIKE THE ENTIRE GAME SERIES.

So before she even became a God Eater she was part of a traveling caravan as far back as she can remember. When they were stopped at a checkpoint she was tested and confirmed a match as a potential God Eater at 15, but she officially joined the ranks at 16 when she was confirmed a bias for the New-Type. 

Joining the Far East branch. Her wep set up then was a short sword/buckler/and whatever that first gun was (tbh I didn’t start using the gun mode until GE2). Anyway, she has a talent for catching on quick to fighting Aragami, if not a bit silent. So when Lindow went MIA it completely wrecked her mentally. She had all this potential and yet couldn’t save the one person she wanted to save. She would lay down her life for all of Far East, especially the First Unit, but ngl she was crushing hard on Lindow (they joke about it together now, since she knew she never had a chance and she sees him as a dork at worst and a cool dad at best).

Shio completely changed her life and she finally realized what it meant to have a family. Especially with Soma, since the two were always on missions together for Shio. Which has the side effect that people think they a couple. They’re close but def not a couple, the Ami/Soma dynamic is more so brother and sister (they vibe really well and respect each other’s need for just silent moments; there are a many of times that someone would find them taking a nap together on a couch).

When Cradle got formed, she declined to join to stay within the Far East. After her childhood is filled with going from place to place she didn’t want to do that again (LOL). 

She transferred to Friar under Doctor Rachel’s request and forced insisted by Fenrir. Rachel somehow discovered that Ami’s bias can adapt to changes (taking up Lindow’s God Arc during the Hannibal storyline tipped her off). She worked well with the Blood Unit. There she changed to short blade/that middle gun that was OP/shield loadout. She cares a lot for the Unit, specifically Julius because being a leader is hard and she saw much of herself in him. That’s why during Romeo’s death and beyond she worked hard to get him back (an aside: Matt Mercer voiced Julius wonderfully, like it was a perfect fit). Over the course of this, she started to have feelings for Gil. And I guess he reciprocated (IT’S MY HEADCANON HE LOWKEY CRUSHES ON PROTAG DANGIT). The two are idiots and didn’t really realize it until they became normal humans again at the end of Rage Burst story. Literally for Ami it was like “Oh! Oh shit, I guess I did fall in love with him huh?” At least enough that they put on a ring on each other after being in a relationship for a couple years. And things were alright.

Except for when the Ash started. 

She’s a originally a resident of Dusty Miller, helping Ein out. Then there were rumors of Pennyworth being the most absolute shit with AGEs so she volunteered herself to go undercover and see how truly shit things have become. And because of her body being able to adapt to new Bias she was able to slip in as a new AGE, she can’t wield others’ god arc like Livie could at first, just that her body doesn’t reject getting a new bias (having her records hidden that she’s a renowned GE helps a lot; she looks sorta kinda young but actually the same age group as Ein and is a past acquaintance of his). There she met Hugo (either a couple months into him being an AGE or maybe a year) but she immediately wants to protect him. She sees him as her son and will not hear any more of that (there’s a sickfic I want to write where she takes care of him while he’s sick when he was younger and he calls her mom in a haze and it’s that moment she realizes she wants to protect and help make his future brighter). So when the plot actually starts, they’ve known each other for years. At this point, her loadout is Biting Edge/Sniper gun/Shield.

So when eventually she meets the rest of the AGEs she seems them has her children (though none of them realize how old she is, so everyone except for Phym sees her as a big sis;). When Ein appears, they have to pretend they don’t know each other for the sake of the charade (tho Ein has Ami’s wedding ring on him for some reason HMM?), eventually it does come to light that Ami is a veteran God Eater (I wanna say when Phym leaves for Odin). This is probably gonna change as more info about the actual timeline between GE2RB to GE3 maybe gets revealed.

Art Summary for 2018!

I spent 2018 in my first apartment - my first full year moved out! It was a good experience overall but I think that, like for many people, life was pretty rough on me. I didn’t have a lot of art juice to spare... but I did manage to draw something every month, whether it was a digital piece or jotting down stuff in my sketchbook (I didn’t really post any of the sketchbook stuff though). I’m thankful for Art Fight and FebruarOC for giving me something to focus on amidst my other challenges in life. Things started to turn for the better toward the end of the year, too, so I hope to carry that energy on through 2019.

I think this year I was allergic to colors that weren’t Pink/Blue or Red/Yellow. XD There’s some pieces with green in them but they either weren’t finished or didn’t turn out as well as other ones from that month. At least purple and orange showed up as byproducts!

Monthly notes are under the cut! 

JANUARY - I think I still had a lot of stuff boxed up from the move-out but I did have my tablet out. I managed to finish a commission that I had put on hold for a long time; I still have some that I haven’t finished from 2017. I think the guilt from not having finished them weighed on me, and made it harder for me to do art in general. It’s still affecting me now. I still want to finish them though and I resolve to do that as soon as possible. I apologize to those I’ve kept waiting.

FEBRUARY - FebruarOC! An art challenge practically tailored for me specifically, haha. I certainly had enough OCs to fill the month a few times over, but having each one be a different letter was a neat spin on it. At this point work was starting to make me unhappy, and if not for this art challenge I might not have had the momentum to keep drawing at all through the tough spots.

MARCH - A lot of D&D with my friends! It took up a lot of time and creative energy for me, though, so I just did some doodles here and there. About D&D.

APRIL - More D&D, plus flexing my design muscles. I’m very proud of that plant-based mastiff summon that I designed for my friend’s Alraune character. :) His name is Cerberus and he’s a pansy-like bush... thing. lol

MAY - No particular theme here. I wasn’t getting anywhere new with my job and it was time to start looking for a new one, but it was really taxing on me on top of other life things, so I didn’t have energy to do anything after work, including job hunt or even draw much. I don’t think I ever posted this drawing, or any of the other sketchbook ones I used in this art summary.

JUNE - A feeble attempt at trying to pick FebruarOC back up where I left off. I think I got a few more in before I fell out of it again. My tablet felt kind of foreign to me so I shied away from digital art again for a while. I had also gotten a raise and more hours at work so I was still pretty beat from adjusting.

JULY - Art Fight came along and was exactly what I needed: Subject matter I liked that would be easy to draw (OCs) without feeling stale (my OWN characters). I was also motivated to do a good job to make the receiving party happy, which helped me brush back up on digital art again. 

AUGUST - Art Fight continued. I wasn’t really able to hold up the steam for the rest of the year in terms of art production, but if I hadn’t done Art Fight I think I would really be struggling right now, both art-wise and on the whole. I was also introduced by someone on Art Fight to a site called Toyhouse, which suits my needs for OC management much better than Charahub, so I started switching over. It gave me something to focus on that wasn’t necessarily drawing, since I needed a break after Art Fight.

SEPTEMBER - This is the only digital piece I managed to do in September, and the last one I managed to finish in 2018. But I’m happy with it. Spoiling my OCs with cute outfits is fun :) Spoiling my OCs with fancy Toyhouse profiles was also fun, and gave me something to do at work when I had no work to do.

OCTOBER - Pretty barren month, even with my sketchbook. (Inktober who?) I got laid off from my job since my work had money problems and no.... work, and I was the most expendable. On top of that, apartment life was stressing me wayyyy out for various reasons, and motivation was at an all-time low. This is the shittiest month I’ve had in a long, long time.

NOVEMBER - Job search wasn’t turning up any results, and our potential roommate backed out on us so we had to start coming up with other plans. I remembered that drawing was the one of the few things I COULD control, so I did that to cheer myself up. It kinda worked.

DECEMBER - Rent was too high to renew the lease so I ended up having to move back in with my parents, but they were supportive about it. This significantly lessened my financial burdens in the wake of losing my job, and I was able to take a much-needed breather to re-evaluate things. I still wasn’t hearing back from anyone about a potential job despite my efforts, but I managed to keep drawing through it, including starting to draw some ideas for a Pokemon gen with some friends. I think this will be a fun side project to carry into 2019. I'm not sure how much of it I’ll post here but I will be putting my fakemon/NPC designs on Toyhouse at least. I already uploaded some player/trainer designs there, which include the image I used for December.

(JUUUUST before the end of the year, by the way, I got hired at a fire sprinkler company to do work actually related to my degree, which is what I was desperately looking for! Yay! So I’m on a good path for 2019 outside of art as well <3)

“Well, I’m Mikoto. I’m an angel, so I suppose that’s important. Age? Nineteen. [or currently 20 if you follow his birthdays since i made this blog] Well, I like to get out a lot and do things and talk to people. Not sure what else to say.” 2. What is your purpose or your biggest goal in life?

“Don’t have that much of a purpose other than being the next king in line whenever my father steps down. But my personal goal is to get more friends to hang out with, perhaps a lover. And also to better myself.” 3. Of all your belongings, which are most important to you? If there is a story about them, please share.

“I’d rather not share why, but my scarf is rather important to me. I never take it off, after all~! All I’ll say is that it was a gift.” 4. Who is your best friend, or the person you are closest to?

“So most of the other princes of their respective lands, some other people, and my parents? Well, I’ll just be quick then because there are a lot. Laphomet’s nice and we hang out sometimes despite being respectively demonic and angelic princes, Mochu is alright but kinda keeps to himself, got no fuckin’ idea about Monarch, mom’s a bitch, dads okay but out more often than not.”

“Well, it honestly depends, but I’m mostly neutral about everything. I try to be more positive nowadays, but sometimes it just isn’t worth the troubles.” 8. Describe your relationship with your parents. If they're no longer alive, how did that happen? How do you feel about it?

“As I said, mom’s a bitch, dad’s a lot better but away often.” 9. What is your favorite childhood memory? Make it a happy one!

“Well, I just walk around places trying to find things to do and socialize. Nothing much more than that.” 14. What is something you're really good at?

“Knitting and sewing. Although, I want to be good at it.” 16. What is something that you're constantly working on improving?

“I dunno, we sometimes have festivals? We have the same holidays as humans, but with slightly altered names and there’s always a celebration for it no matter how small the holiday is. Dress fancy, eat food, go to parties and maybe get drunk, and participate in the festivities. We also somehow have a seasonal amusement park. It doesn’t fit into the theme of the fact that our little floating island looks like it was taken out of a medieval fantasy book, so it clashes a lot.” 20. How well educated are you? “Well, as a high royalty figure, I was basically forced to learn a bunch of languages so I can communicate with everyone - a good skill for a leader or person who travels a lot to have. Fortunately, I learned most of these languages alongside english, so it was much easier. I am still most fluent in english, though.” 21. What was your childhood like in general? Sad? Happy? All over the place? Describe it.

“Probably the last one mixed with sad. Not going into any more detail.” 22. Are you at all religious? What do you believe happens when you die?

“Well considering I’m an angel, I’m either already dead or some form of immortal. Probably. I have no fucking idea what happens when someone dies, don’t want to find out.” 23. Describe your clothing and your usual style. 

“My style - at least in what I usually wear - is very hard to describe I guess? How do you describe these clothes? How.” 24. Do you have a job or attend school? If so, what is your job or what are you learning in school?

“Already been to school. Recently got out actually. Although, I’ll probably be shoved back in, except into college this time. being royalty means you have to have good education and good everything and god knows my parents are going to shove it down my throat. Although, since my “”job”” is going to be being a future leader, what the hell are they going to make me take in College...?” 25. Do you have any tattoos, markings, or scars on your body? What are they like?

“My younger - about fifteen to seventeen - year old self pondered on tattoos a lot, but ultimately decided against it. I have a lot of scars or wounds or whatever. It’s why I wear bandages. You can probably guess what they are, considering I’ve (somehow) never burnt myself or had any long lasting bruises.” 26. Is there anything about your appearance that you would like to change?

“Not in particular, no.” 27. Aside from your closest friend, who would you like to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with?

“A lover, but since I don’t have one, likely Laphomet. Actually, maybe one of the more refined princes, since Lapho would just ruin the atmosphere probably.” 28. Do you listen to or create music? Do you enjoy it? 

“I’ve tried my hand at creating music, didn’t work out. I also used to play the violin, but it evolved into playing the harp as a hobby. I’m pretty decent at it. Also, my tastes in music are kinda all over the place but I like videogame osts more than anything.” 29. What is something about the world you live in that is constantly on your mind? (War, Political Unrest, etc)

“The fact that the current leader is a piece of shit. And no, not my dad. The other one. The female one.” 30. If you were to pass a homeless person in the streets, what would you do?

“So it’s not like I have high taxes to pay off or anything, I’ll just give them 100 dollars, maybe food, and be on my way.” 31. Where were you born, and where do you live now?

“Live in the same place I was born. Although, somehow the floating continent of whatever the fuck can grow for some reason, and it’s grown quite a bit since I as a kid. At least, according to my dad. Hell, at this rate maybe we’ll actually get advanced technology and buildings, and it’ll actually look like how it should for this generation!” 32. Do you prefer Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter? Why? “Winter. It’s cold. I like cold. Although it’s awkward because the fact that my clothes expose a lot of skin so they’re more fit to spring and summer. Thankfully, they got people to make me a winter form of my royal clothes. A fluffy coat.” 33. What is something you dream of accomplishing, but don't think you ever will?

“I mean, meeting them again is literally impossible, so yeah I don’t think i’ll be doing that.” 34. What's something that would make you really angry?

“Uh, slurs, shit-talk about my friends, stuff like that.” 35. What's something that calms you down when you're angry?

“Friends, alcohol, food. And just generally rest.” 36. Do you struggle with any physical or mental disabilities?

“I might’ve had depression somewhere in my life, probably still have it to a smaller extent. I miiight be bi-polar or some other mental disability but I haven’t gotten checked for those things, so maybe I’m just jumping the gun.” 37. What are your three best and three worst personality traits?

“Well, best? Don’t like to really brag or suck my own dick, but I guess I’m nice to my friends, rich (it’s a personality trait now), and kinda grateful?... I’m trying to be more forgiving. And the worst, well, there’s a lot but mostly possessive, obsessive, and passive-agressively, or just generally rude. Also low patience, but I try to play it off like I have high patience.” 38. “Did you not notice the giant fucking scythe on my back? Well, I guess sometimes I don’t carry it, but I always have these two little daggers with blue hilts on me at all times. The little tail-cloth-thing hides it, but they’re in my pockets.” 40. Do you identify as the gender you were born with? 

“Mostly. Might be demiboy. Might be nonbinary. When I was born I was technically nonbinary but I slowly I somehow grew... that, so I might be biologically male. I’m not sure.” 41. What is your sexuality? Are you treated any differently for it?

“I’m bi. Attracted to everyone more or less. I like guys or male-presenting people a little more though, girls kinda make me uncomfortable due to the biggest female-figure in my life being a bitch, probably. “Somehow being a good student in school I guess? It IS satisfying to get those weird grades where it’s over 100, or above an A.” 43. How did you meet your closest friend?

“Don’t know who I qualify as my second closest. I’d say Lapho, but it kinda depends on mood. “Yeah, a lot. Kinda indirectly caused someone's death, so y’know.” [ He kinda seems on the edge a little due to this answer. ] 48. Have you traveled a lot? What was your favorite part of it? If not, where do you want to travel to?

“Yeah, I travel all around the place. Having wings and teleportation is nice, but also sucks major ass at least right now because I still at least get a headache from using teleportation [and on top of that because I’m not that skilled in it yet, it can be unstable], and I get tired quickly by flying.” 49. Are you comfortable around people? Could you befriend a stranger, if given the opportunity?

“Well, as a prince and once again as a future leader, you kinda have to know how to talk to someone even if they’re a complete stranger. So the answer is yes.” 50. Have you ever been in a life or death situation? If so, what was it? 

“Few times. Usually started by the same person. Although, I’m still here, so unless by some mind-fuckery I’m actually in a coma dream or I’m a ghost, then I’ve survived all of those situations. And to make it simple, assault and abuse are the situations usually.”

51. Do you want to get married one day? What are your thoughts on children?

“Most people are surprised when I tell them this, but yeah. I really wanna get married, have some kids (probably adopted or from a surrogate mother since I prefer guys), treat them 500 times better than my mom because she can’t parent for shit, etcetera.” 52. “High. Once again, prince. Royalty. My dads related to or is a descendant of god or some shit, so that helps.” 53. Does anybody rely on you for something?

“Well, I think I first got drunk at like, 15 or 16, and I was pretty lightweight then, so I dunno how it exactly went but I think I as stumbling around [ as you do when drunk ] and kinda subtly flirting with people. “I’m ok at drawing, I strive for semi-realism when I do draw, and it is fun! So I might get into it more. Although, right now I’m more well-versed in writing.” 61. What are you the most afraid of in the entire world?

“Uh, wake up, maybe go on the internet or play videogames, go out, drink a lot of wine and eat a lot, socialize, go to a different place or go home, go on the internet again, screw up my sleep schedule for the fifth time, sleep.” 63. “You know most of me and my friends say this, and it isn’t really a holiday, but birthdays. Although christmas and halloween are close runner ups. Christmas because I usually spend it with my friends [ and I get a ton of presents from the weird people in town who thirst over me or generally like me ], I get some presents from my dad, I put coal in my moms pillow, and yeah. Also Halloween has some nice costumes, and I like candy.” 64. Would you prefer a peaceful nature walk or a trip to a busy city?

“Nature walk. Nature relaxes me a lot more than some loud crude city. Although the cities fine too, I’m just too used to it.” 65. Growing up, did you have any important teachers or mentors? What's the most important thing they taught you?

“My school counselor was pretty chill. She told me not to be something I’m not, and that helped me get more motivation to improve.” 66. If your parents or mentor knew everything about you today, would they be proud of you?

“If we’re still talking about my counselor, to be honest, I saw them between my in-between phase of edgy dumbass, and my phase of edgy ruse dumbass, so they’ve seen me at my worse.” 67. What is something that excites you or makes you really happy?

“Are you expecting me to say something sexual because its the sixty-ninth question? Well fine. I am not a virgin but I still consider myself so because I’ve never had romantic sex (i’ve only had sex around 3-5 times) but for a non-sexual answer, I’m mostly secret free. I’m good at keeping them, but for personal secrets, if you catch me in an emotional mood they may just slip.” 70. “I’m quick, have good reflexes, and yeah I’m pretty flexible. I can do a split if I wanted.” 73. Have you ever been in love? If not, do you want to be? If so, with who, and are you still? If you aren't, how did it end?

“Yes, not answering, person isn’t here anymore. And I do want to be in a relationship or have someone I like or who is a mutual have a crush on me, as well.” 74. When you're alone and relaxing, what are you usually thinking about?

“Usually about the past or the future.” 75. Do you have a lot of responsibilities? If so, what do they include?

“Well, if you couldn’t tell from past answers, once again, being royalty is fucking annoying even though you get everything handed to you, you still have to work hard to fit into peoples expectations.” 76. Have you ever felt really guilty about something? If so, what was it?

“Youuuu know how... I’ve been talking about.. uh. Causing someones death indirectly? Yeah. That.” 77. Do you have any habits, ticks, quirks, or anything like that?

“Quite a few, I won’t list all of them but, I’m left handed, I tend to do tricks with whatever I’m holding without noticing if I’m bored or waiting for something, if I feel threatened my wings will open up a lot, if I feel sad they’ll usually scrunch up a lot more. Y’know.” 78. What complaints do you have about your best friend?

“If you mean the alive ones, none. I mean, flaws make a person who they are.” 79. What complaints do you have about your next closest friend?

“Also none.” 80. Do you have any special abilities or talents?

“Flight, teleportation, I’m slowly gaining more and more magics - courtesy of my parents, I guess - but they’re weak - my strongest magic ability right now is controlling thunder, though.” 81. Do you have any addictions or obsessions?

“I’m motivated because of the fact I still have so much to see, improve, and learn.” 83. What do you find attractive in a person, both physically and in terms of personality?

“Clean-shaven, tall and thin, I can go for any personality really, but preferably at least is kinda nice and charming, male probably, and uh... glasses are cute. Wow I sound like a typical girl describing their dream crush, huh? Well, to be fair, I’m mostly fine with anything.” 84. What do you think a stranger's first impression of you would be?

“Depends on what my outwards personality is like at the time, but generally well-mannered if not a little bit weird at times.” 85. Are you ashamed or embarrassed about anything?

“Quite a few things. Like I said, I didn’t have genitalia at birth so that was something.” 86. Would you consider yourself to be trustworthy and honest? Would you lie if it benefited you?

“Sadly, I’m pretty good at manipulation and tactics for it, so I will lie if it benefits me or if I feel like I have to, although if I trust the person then I try to be much more honest.” 87. Has anything huge happened in your life that you feel shaped or changed the person you are today?

“The loss of my childhood friend turned me to hate and absolutely despise my mother. Even though she abused me before, I just took it and didn’t say anything, but when she did it to him it was much more personal and shocking... ah, there’s that... again.. my dumb fucking habit of overstaying my welcome with secrets I’m supposed to bottle up inside me and keep until I die. A-anyways.” [ He seemed to get emotional at the subject, but it seems like he was keeping that inside him for a while. ] 88. What are some of your short term (less than 1 yr) goals?

“Uh... bettering myself will probably take longer than a year, so, maybe taking up gardening and stuff like that. He did that. It was nice..” 89. How do you deal with stress? How do you respond to stressful situations?

“With extreme emotional backlash, usually. It depends on the current situation, level of stress, and if I’m in public or not, or if the stress was brought on by a person, but assuming the level of stress is pretty high, I’ll either become really angry, really sad, or just walk somewhere private and let out emotions there.” 90. What is something that most people don't know about you?

“I like old-timey things and vintage stuff. Like obviously more modern than medieval era, but old enough that it isn’t used much in the new generations. Also I think the way people dressed in older times was funny. Also also, history is one of my favorite classes which is odd to most people since I don’t seem like the guy to care about what happened in the past, I suppose.”

The Finalysis: @askgiegueandcrew

Hey y’all! Here is my first post in The Finalysis. Below, I analyze the personalities of 26 characters from @askgiegueandcrew and @bunchofaliens​, in alphabetical order. Here are a few summary charts:

“Holy heck there’s a lot of characters right now.” -M

Without further ado, here are my explanations for why I put those characters where I did — and why I excluded the characters that I did.

Bala: Probably ESFP.

“Rather over the top and exaggerated,” Kalpana’s husband “has a more serious side, too, but it's very hard to get him to show it.” Being extra indicates extraversion and a high Feeling function, since if it was lower then he would not be so open with his emotions. A lack of seriousness is most common in E__P types. A love of explosions often comes from Se’s visceral love of intense sensory experience, and boy does he love explosions. His only line in the @askgiegueandcrew​ narrative is “I’m going to blast all this out of the way!” (not counting his one line on @bunchofaliens​ discussing his family tree) with a scarily huge wide-eyed grin to match.

Captain Deepsea ("Malarky"): Seems like an INFJ.

Despite being funkiest disco-loving robot in the solar system, Captain Deepsea comes across as more of a wise father figure than a wild partier. He is "very, very patient" and warmhearted towards his crew. This kindness combines with his curiosity to produce an unusual amount of leniency. Contrast the rigid, strict rule enforcement of the predominantly ISTJ gieeg and Starman leadership — particularly as displayed by Alum, Giegue, and Henry Killjoy. Unlike any other Starman Army leader save Niiue, "the word most folks would use to describe Deepsea" is "[e]ccentric." Malarky's voice carries a tone of "calm authority," and he gains respect from his subordinates not by explicitly demanding it but earning it implicitly through socialization, as one would expect from a Fe rather than Te user. He keeps his cape for sentimental reasons, again implying F over T. While not obvious, Ni seems implicit in his love of learning and his humor style of playing with language. For the latter, consider his in-game speech to Alin and co: "I knew you'd come after the *whirr* Apple ... [but] if you fell me, more take my place ... So how do you like them apples?"

I am not entirely confident calling Malarky Ni-dominant, though, because he “Likes following orders,” rarely questions them, and fully swallowed Giegue's Kool-Aid (e.g. when he said in CogDis that "the might of the Transcendent One is approaching infinity itself"). I would have expected that, at some point, the gieegs' orders would conflict with an INFJ's idealism (contrast Istic, Hahu, and Harod). The Captain seems chill about everything, whereas an INFJ often has Very Lofty and Serious Ideals. Still, Malarky does not seem to show Fi's fiery individualism, Ti's blunt lack of social tact, Si's rigid standards, or Se's impulsivity in his dominant function. I could see him as a high Ne-user, but even ignoring his obedience, that would imply either high Ti or high Fi. INFJ it is, I guess.

Crazy-Eyes: No clue.

The only things that I know about this mysterious character are that 1) they have crazy eyes, 2) Origen thinks they are "very talented," and 3) they dislike anons bursting into their lab. At this point, I cannot even venture a guess.

Emmet: Probably ESFJ, maybe ISFJ.

Despite being a fairly simple "music dork" who only wants to play his guitar, I found Emmet difficult to figure out. At first I considered him an introvert because he is generally passive and indifferent, letting things happen to him without much agency. But even though Vivek thinks that Emmet is a jerk, Emmet shows dominant Fe. Showing affection to random anons is no problem for him.

More importantly, he is loyal to his friends (Fe) and then to authority (Si) in that order. When helping the protagonists steal an Apple piece from Giegue, he thought primarily about how it would make his friends feel. While he called Col. Saturn "real great" for "explainin' all this stuff to me" because it "[m]akes it feel a lot less like I’m breakin’ too many rules!," he felt bad about disappointing Malars. Despite his treason, Emmet is very obedient. He betrayed Giegue only because his friends asked. Afterwards, Emmet had no problem deciding to turn himself in. Even though losing his guitar devastated him, he still prioritized completing his work. When asked by Harod, he did not even understand the concept of questioning authority. These show high Si, and thus ESFJ.

Euclid: Seems like an ESFJ, maybe ENFP.

An enthusiastically creative, determined kid with a goal-oriented mindset, a positive attitude, and a lot of respect for authority figures. Positivity and enthusiasm support E_F_. Determination and respect for authority support high Si. While his occasional randomness and righteously indignant sass make ENFP also seem likely — especially since he does not seem to care about being messy — his strong work-related principles imply strong Si. I considered that an ENFJ typing could reconcile those traits, but they still seem Ne/Si and I have seen no evidence of Ni or Se. I do not think I have seen enough of Euclid to type him precisely.

Giegue: Definitely ISTJ.

Giselle: Seems like an ESFP, maybe ESTP.

"No number of yesterdays are more important than today. That's where you gotta focus." This “short description” of Giselle shows Se’s focus on living in the present, without planning for the future or dwelling on the past. Her “occupation” is a “Sled Expert and Life Enjoyer” and she is “[a]lways looking for excitement and fun things to do,” showing that she prioritizes new experiences (Se) and happiness (Fi) over practical matters (Te) or long-term goals (Ni). As is most common for E_F_ types, her “personality” is “[b]right and chipper!” and she “talks fast ... like a hurricane.” The latter shows how, in contrast to I__J types, she takes life at a fast pace. Inferior Ni is evident not only in her ignorance of long term goals, but in that she “dislikes ... books” and wants “noooo, no, no reading.” Her “bad habits” include “[p]ushing on ahead no matter what without stopping to think about things,” again showing that the long-term planning function Ni is inferior. Her “sworn enemy” is “[s]ocietal constraints,” showing Se’s love of freedom and Fi’s prioritization of personal passion over politeness and social norms.

I found no posts about Giselle on Tumblr, so I based my conclusion entirely on her Charahub. Since I have not seen any dialogue or social interactions including her, I cannot claim much confidence in assigning her a personality type even though the Charahub description strongly indicates Se-dominance. She could also potentially be an ESTP: although I have seen no evidence of Ti, I have seen nothing to rule it out either.

Kalpana: Probably ESFJ.

The loving mother of Vivek and Mips, Kalpana tries to help others and take care of their needs. "She tries to be very positive and loves to help out[;] is outgoing among small groups, but closes up a lot in crowds[; and] is rather dreamy." Fe-dominants disproportionately radiate positivity and love to help others. It is somewhat surprising that she closes up in crowds and is rather dreamy, as those would be more expected for an I, N, and/or P type. Still, her "patience level" is "[v]ery high with everyone who isn't Malik or Nila," so in other words, she automatically extends patience to everyone who is not rude. That shows dominant Fe because of the expectation of reciprocal kindness in social behavior. The "deadly sin that best represents" her is "wrath," which would be difficult to explain in an I_FJ. The "most important person in [her] life" is "everyone in her family," which coheres well with SFJs' tendency to value family more than other types. 

Working as a "spiritual healer/housewife" shows her Fe-based desire to nurture. She seems to have a penchant for giving gifts to others, which demonstrates the wide-ranging generosity of dominant Fe. In Niiue's mind, her manifestation asked if he'd had enough to eat, showing that she is a Mom Friend even to others besides her children. She is still very strong-willed and can be very blunt, as shown by her badass/sassy response to Porky and repulsion to Malik, making an I_F_ type unlikely. Together, these imply ESFJ.

Keter: Seems like an INFP.

Similar to her brother Euclid, but less likely to take initiative and more likely to enjoy solitary activities like reading. I thought she was ISFJ at first, but she does not seem to show the typical ISFJ nervousness — at least as much as someone like Mips. She is also much more of a daydreamer than most Si-dominants. Her hopeless-romantic attitude supports an INFP typing, as does the possibly Ne-based randomness she shares with her brother. Like her brother, I have not seen enough of her to be sure.

Koru: No clue.

I have found no information about her personality, including on her Charahub page and the two posts that she appeared in on @askgiegueandcrew.

Lilac: No clue.

I have not seen enough content to guess Ano’s and Ore’s mother’s type. While her Charahub calls her “[v]ery, very bitter and very, very troubled” and notes that she “can seem very threatening when she wants to be,” these are insufficient for me to hazard a decent guess — especially since the latter is probably situational: “She was put under house arrest because she wouldn't help the government convince her mate to cooperate.” Her demeanor sounds like it might be an INTJ’s, but I have only stereotypes to use there.

Lochan: Probably an ISTP.

"Spooks' perpetually grumpy dad" has precisely the opposite attitude as his daughter: where she is eternally upbeat and optimistic, Lochan "comes off as really grumpy and really ill-tempered." A grumpy attitude often implies I_T_, since introverts are less likely to enjoy social interaction and Thinkers are less likely to care about appearing friendly. As another factor explaining his grumpiness, "he just isn't the best at showing how he feels about others," showing inferior Fe. The "most appropriate TV Trope(s)" to describe him include "[s]our outside sad inside" and "Silly rabbit idealism is for kids," again showing the lack of Fe's warmth and idealism. I_T_ types are probably most likely to frequently call others idiots, as he evidently does.

Lochan's "bad habits" include "[t]alking without thinking things through," showing Se's impulsivity. When asked his age, he dismissed the question as irrelevant, showing the STP impatience for the impractical. The hair-trigger argumentative temper evident in his "strong opinions" and tendency to yell about them also indicates Se rather than Ne (compare Zarbol and contrast Ano), since ESTPs often become angry in arguments whereas ENTPs simply like to troll. If he had high Ne, he would probably show mischievous (contrast Ano and Static) or eccentric (contrast Niiue and Origen) behavior, but he shows neither.

Loris: Seems like an INFP.

This “standard blue starman” is “[f]airly straight forward,” but “can get a bit too curious and nosy about things” and is. A bit. Gullible.” Curiosity is most common in high Ne-users, and NF types are often gullible because they lack ST-types’ realistic (S) skepticism (T). Loris’s “patience” is “high,” unlike high Se-users. The limited dialogue that Loris gives shows the same kind of eccentric strangeness as Origen (INTP): “[T]his one is a wobblebot, look at it go! Wobble wobble, wobble wobble!” As a “Wide-eyed Idealist,” Loris lacks the cynicism one would expect from an I_T_ type. His “bad habits” include “[w]andering after his friends,” often right behind them: “[L]oris is really annoying and follows his friends around places,” showing a lack of the social awareness that one would expect from a high Fe-user.

Manjula ("Jula"): Probably ENFJ, maybe ESFJ.

This “too precious” child practically radiates dominant Fe. Blatantly kind, caring, “full of love,” and empathetic, she generally tries to help everyone. Friendship is one of her strongest values. Her voice is "[s]oft and kind," and conveys sincere interest in others. She has a special talent for "[o]rganizing groups together and encouraging teamwork." Manjula is a "responsible child who has a good amount of bravery and intuition about getting others to work together well," which shows Fe-dominance because auxiliary Fe would be much more passive. Frankly, if she is not Fe-dominant, I will eat a hat. Perhaps Manjula and Iso should have a fight to the death to see who better exemplifies the wholesome sweetness of dominant Fe, if either could ever be convinced to fight.

I am less sure that Manjula has Ni instead of Si, but her dialogue often seems to carry Ni's undertone of wisdom beyond her years.

Max: No clue.

I have not seen enough content to make a guess. I only know that he "do[es] not want to fight" and that he was scrapped, but those say little about his personality type.

Mips: Definitely ISFJ.

Cute nervous cinnamon roll who likes to take things slowly instead of acting on impulse. His reclusive tendencies show introversion. Likewise, his politeness, sensitivity, and desire to help others too much show high Fe. When asked, Mips was happy to share a long list of people he loves and the whole thing is adorably cheesy, showing his eagerness to openly discuss feelings. For Mips and many other Si-users, security entails comfort and vice versa: one of the reasons he loves Larice is that the Starman "makes me feel like I have a solid foundation to stand on" (compare Ambrosios). Conversely, he is known as a "scaredy mook" who struggles with paranoia and distrusting others due to inferior Ne. The inferior function is usually not trusted, and Ne holds many possibilities at once, so Mips fears the possibilities he sees.

Speaking of Mips the "scaredy mook," this actually happened (as of 2018-06-11):

Nik: Probably ESFJ, maybe ENFP.

This "very up-beat and chatty" mook is "[p]retty social and ready to talk," showing extraversion and a high Feeling function. Love is "really important and not somethin' to give up on" to Nik, showing the sappy emotional idealism of Fe-dominance. His "bad habits" include "[b]eing too stuck in his ways" and "not hearing new points of view." Similarly, his "pet peeves" include "[h]aving his beliefs challenged." Both show the stubbornness of an immature high-Si-user, unwilling to consider alternative possibilities through Ne. Nik's "personal problem" of "not wanting to give up on the past" also shows high Si, since Si often focuses on the past. While Nik has a "chaotic good" alignment and is a "ditz," which would cohere better with an ENFP typing than ESFJ, typing based on alignments is often unreliable. Plus, it is far easier to imagine a ditzy ESFJ than an ideologically stubborn ENFP stuck in their ways who refuses to give up on the past.

Nila: Almost certainly ISTP.

"The goddamn doctor around here" is a grumpalumpagus like Malik — reclusive, practical, and tough, among other ISTP qualities. She has no patience, is best represented by the deadly sin of Sloth, and has personal problems with "being too apathetic at times" and consequently lacking motivation. In other words, she is almost certainly not a Si- or Te-dominant. Her tone with others tends to be very blunt and gruff, making her "not all that pleasant to deal with," and she dislikes impractical socialization. All of those show inferior Fe. After healing Ambrosios, for example, she told him to "git, get up, you're fine now ... 'n learn to use your healin' and life-up PSI, you're a mook, dammit." When Iso asked to become her apprentice, Nila asked the butterfly to "Tell me why this won’t be a waste of my time," and Nila has (endearingly, I think hope) referred to Saral the ISFJ as a "nice and borin'" "idiot" and a "git." Insensitive apathy implies high Ti, and her down-to-earth straightforwardness implies that she is not an INTP.

Behind her demeanor, though, Nila seems to be unusually driven by Fe. Her inferior Fe motivates her career as a healer. Apparently she even gives others therapy to help heal minds as well as bodies. She makes a nice contrast with Iso the ENFJ, and each helps the other with their weaknesses: unlike Nila, Iso is uncomfortable dealing with gore, but on the other hand, Iso has used her social skills to help compensate for Nila's lack thereof.

Origanum Vulgare ("Ore"): Almost certainly ISTJ.

Ore is a HUGE nerd and somewhat of an ISTJ stereotype, although a different kind than Alum. Emotional expression, or emotional anything, is not his strong suit. Friendship is a foreign concept to Ore. Due to his dominant Si, Ore has been highly obedient since his childhood. He obsesses over the details and minutia of his special interest — plants — to the exclusion of everything else, storing it all in memory. As Euclid eloquently put it, flowers "are one of his reasons for being." Intensive memory for concrete details is a hallmark of high Si. Not only does he consider endlessly studying mooks fun, but he considers it "illogical" to receive appreciation when he has yet to publish his research findings. Regarding mooks, academic study is even how he expresses romantic feelings unless that Elmadan x Ore fic is non-canon, in which case lol whoops.

I also consider INTP a serious possibility due to his occasional problem of forgetting that the outside world exists. However, an INTP typing cannot explain his obedience ("It's like he can do no wrong or something"), his intensive focus on one concrete subject, his "addiction [to] work," or his diametric contrast with Ano — and with Static, for that matter. He may show the "absentminded professor" stereotype common to INTPs, but he is not the same type as Origen.

Origen: Definitely INTP.

Pelly: Almost certainly ESFJ.

This happy gieeg's expressive optimism, desire to help others, high patience level, and Lawful Good alignment exemplify dominant Fe. Her unwavering loyalty to her friends, family, and superiors shows strong Si. She felt angriest when people try to bully her brother or Alum, and hates bullies in general, which shows Fe's desire to protect others and Si's family loyalty. One might expect her protective instincts to impede her profession as a soldier, but she copes by reminding herself that she does everything to help her loved ones and "[tries] to keep my morals, even on the battlefield." After all, she believes that "[y]ou can kill without being a bully." If not for that belief, the cognitive dissonance between her moral feelings and her duty as a soldier would probably tear her apart.

Pia: Definitely ISFJ.

Pia's absolute loyalty and obedience to the orders of his "master(s)," to the extent that he is very frequently called a loyal dog as a joke, display dominant Si. When told that extreme obedience might cause his death, he said, "That's...ok." Like Pelly's, his unwaveringly compassionate and protective behavior — especially towards children — shows high Fe. The contrast between Pia's Fe and Giegue's Te is evident in that Pia thinks they are friends but Giegue does not (but for the record, Pia is probably right). Pia's inability to understand metaphors, puns, colloquialisms, or abstractions in general shows inferior Ne combined with low intelligence. A less intelligent person with high Ne may understand abstraction but not understand reality (contrast Patrick Star the INTP). Pia is a stereotypical ISFJ in almost every way, except that he is not (usually, with exceptions) visibly nervous (at least compared to e.g. Mips).

Pimpinella Anisum ("Ano"): Definitely ENTP.

See full analysis for details. Also, I really should have included this gem in her analysis: "Personality: Wow, what a bitch."

Rigby: Probably ESTP.

This shady character “has the kind of voice you instinctively don't want to trust,” perhaps because he exudes sketchiness and is the kind of salesman who is a bit too eager. The contrast between outer friendliness and salesmanlike insincerity is especially common among E_TPs, who use their Fe to project a friendly demeanor despite that it rarely gives them altruistic motivations (compare Ariana). Rigby’s technical skills (”He's actually really good with gadgets and inventing”) and love of “tinkering” show that he loves working with concrete yet logical systems due to Ti (compare Ayjo and Malik). Specifically, he loves “making explosives” since Se’s craving for sensory intensity makes him viscerally love fire (compare Bala and Zicca).

Like many STPs and few SJs, he “dislikes ... the law” because it imposes seemingly arbitrary rules on his freedom, making him willing to conduct (despite his insistence otherwise) legally dubious sales. Similarly, he would probably rather not “get married, ... have kids, [or] raise a family.” The aversion to commitment shows low Feeling and no Si. Rigby even shows the characteristic crude and slang-filled Se-dominant speaking style (compare Boson and Juice). While it may be dangerous to assume that only Se-dominants use it, so far that heuristic has seemed fairly reliable.

Saral: Definitely ISFJ.

Sprita ("Spooks"): Definitely ENFP.

Above all, Spooks is "excitable and cheerful!" This "Wide-eyed Idealist" with a "Sunny sunflower disposition" has a "bright and bubbly" voice, and the element which best represents her is "sunshine." Her excessively friendly demeanor shows extraversion and Feeling, while her playful spontaneity points to Ne or Se dominance. Her romanticism suggests _NF_. When asked about how to biologically classify mooks, she replied, "I like thinkin[g that] we're like works of art, beautiful and unique!" which is one of the most violently ENFP sentences that I have ever read. It upheld romantic, happy idealism while notably providing zero concrete scientific details. Spooks is also known as "the Supreme Ribbon Noodle" because she wears cute ribbons and gives others cute ribbons and is a cute ribbon. She constantly calls stuff "cute," but maybe she is merely projecting. After all, she is "very determined" to be adorable, and her determination is obviously paying off (EEEEEEE, she’s so cute!). Like certain other ENFPs that I could mention, Spooks is a Motor Mouth who excitedly "goes on and on" and doesn't shut up while talking —especially about feelings, since she "is here to talk about feelings." Unlike Beams, Spooks fully embraces that she is Delightfully Squooshy. Spooks is basically the same as ViHart, another ENFP.

Tonic: Probably INFJ, maybe ISFJ.

This small friend "is mild-mannered, but determined," and a "bit withdrawn around strangers, but she warms up to others after a bit." Like Yi, the contrast between her warmth and her reclusive shyness shows introversion and auxiliary Fe. A mild-mannered attitude generally indicates I_F_, as does a "[s]oft and sweet" voice. " "She stays as positive as she can," showing the optimism of high Fe. The idea of killing someone repulses her, even Elmadan when he shut down Bowfest. Ni-dominance makes her "seem very reliable" and “determined” with a "[h]igh" patience level. Yet Ni also gives her the "personal problem" that she "isn't outgoing and doesn't know how to reach out and get what she wants on her own." Ni generally takes things slowly, avoiding impulsive action. Fe prefers to act polite instead of blunt to maintain social harmony. Both make it difficult to act assertively and take social risks. When nervous, she "pretend[s] she isn't in the ship and just go[es] quiet," since as an introvert she generally feels more comfortable out of the spotlight. Then, she lets her extravert brother do the talking — although she sometimes discourages that when the conversation enters, ah, unwholesome territory. When talking to Iso, Tonic is very flattering and encouraging, almost like a tonic to the nerves — GEDDIT???

ISFJ is also a possibility, since Si could also explain her shyness and determination. However, she shows no signs of low Ne's nervousness (contrast her brother, as well as Flux and Mips). I though INFJ unlikely because she lacks some grand vision, but when Elmadan cancelled Bowfest, she decided to lead the resistance. It may not be as obvious or overarching as e.g. Harod's or Penini's dream to explore the stars, but still shows a strong-willed resistance to existing authority which is less likely in a Si-dominant.

Yi: Probably ISFJ, maybe INFJ.

Very polite, well-meaning, and cultured, Yi exemplifies the well-developed tact of auxiliary Fe. Despite his genuine friendliness — in that he likes hugs and "gets along well with most everyone" — he is "just not a terribly social person," showing the paradoxical combination of high Fe warmth and introverted reclusiveness. Politeness is so second nature to him that he even let enemies rest at a hotel before fighting them.

For a long time I considered Yi an INFJ, reasoning first that Ni-dominance explains his fascination with Earth culture and second that inferior Se explains his detachment from physical reality and indecisiveness. Strong Se-users are generally much more aware and decisive (contrast Yi with Ly, Zarbol, or Zicca), after all. However, Yi's detachment and indecisiveness can be explained reasonably well with an ISFJ typing too. Yi's main interest (guns) is more detail-oriented than I would usually expect from an INFJ, although Harod's gembloom interest is notably similar. Si explains other parts of his personality slightly better than Ni as well, e.g. that his “hobbies” include “[o]rganizing things.” Also, while INFJs and ISFJs both care for others, Yi tries to attend to Zannie’s immediate practical needs, which NFJs (like Zannie) often accidentally ignore.

My most significant reasons to call Yi an ISFJ instead of INFJ are his lack of righteous indignation (e.g. at the gieegs' regime) and his lack of a lofty idealized vision or dream (contrast Harod, Istic, and Penini). If I saw his righteous indignation or lofty vision, then I would consider INFJ probable, but he gets up early and "appreciates getting a good night's sleep" and i can't relate so therefore he can't be my type. /jk 

Alright, that was my first Finalysis post! :D I hope that y’all enjoyed it. The charts are far messier than I intended, but I figured that they looked better that way than if I had tried to stuff six ESFJs into a single box on a traditional MBTI chart while leaving three boxes empty. BACK STORY

She was in a secret relationship with her girlfriend Mei Chang. Until, Mei decided to tell her parents and they kicked her out. Elicia let her girlfriend stay with her until she can get a house of her own. However, Mei doesn't have that money so Elicia decides to go into the military to get the money for Mei. Of course, she had to make up some documents that said she was 18 because she was only 16 at the time and was willing to do anything for the woman she loves!

In Yet Another Man's battlefield, when Elicia takes the quiche, she says, " Sorry pal! Maybe you should get here earlier. Though I guess it wouldn't even matter then because it would take you at least 10 minutes to reach for it" then Edward being himself, tries punch after a rant but Elicia side steps and elbows the back of his neck. Making him face plant into the ground. Then, adult! Elicia just walks away confidently. After that, it sparked a rivalry between her and Edward. Then one day, their rivalry ended when she found her friends attacking Edward and a Heathcliff. She defended them by making it look like she was going to join her "friends" then once Ed and Heathtcliff where out of the way, she shot one of her "friends" in the knee and made a speech about equality. Elicia, Edward, and Heathcliff got in trouble and had to dig a trench. They get to talking about why they were there. Elicia tells a little of the truth which is that she had people that she loved at home that deserved the best of the best. After that, Edward and her became really good friends. 

Then after the academy and during the Ishvalan war, They met up again. Edward got shot by Heathcliff and Elicia had shot Heathcliff to save Edward. Even though she knew she did the right thing, she felt incredibly guilty for killing him because she was close to him and he was a minority like her. Edward already knew Elicia was a lesbian at this point but he didn't know about her true age until Mei sent her a letter telling her happy birthday during Ishval. To which he promises to keep a secret after comforting on the matter. He also makes another promise to not only Elicia, but to Al, and Winry that he would become Furher and make everything right. The war ended, Elicia reunites with Mei and purposes on the spot and they get married,yay!        

Then, when the Mustang Brothers roll in, she immediately takes a liking to them, especially Maes. Not to long after, the Mustang Brothers had a mission where an alchemist named Shuo Tucker tried to turn his daughter into a chimera for re certification that he was a state alchemist. Lucky Roy and Maes made it in time to save her. After that, Tucker was thrown in jail and Nina was put in a foster home. The Mustang brothers often visit Nina to see how she is holding up. Elicia goes with them one time to met Nina and is shocked that no one had picked this sweet cute girl to be their daughter. After the next three to five visits, she and Mei decide to adopt her. This leads to them being a cute little happy family! This rest of her story is basically what happen to Maes in canon. If I come up with more, I fill this up more! Until then though, have fun reading this!

Thanks for the tag @rain-likes-to-ramble ! It’s the longest tag game I’ve done, so I’ll put it under the cut. Be warned, it gets progressively more sarcastic.

1. Is there a story you’re holding off writing for some reason? 

I’ve been wanting to try and rewrite some of my fanfic from when I was 13/14 for a while to make it less cringy and have a direct comparison on how my writing has changed. But the main thing I’m holding off is a novel(la) called The Scramble. It’s in the same universe as my other WIP’s (with some of its events being mentioned in The Indignant including an appearance from Chris) but it can be read standalone. I’ve got the cast and rough plot sorted out but as it was originally fanfiction, it’s taken a while to weed the fandom parts out of it. 

Brief summary: Sigurd Losnedahl, being the backstabber he is, decided to get involved with the Norikan Civil War despite insisting to his two sons he wouldn’t. Now Eirik and Halldór are stuck in the epicentre of the battle and since neutrality is even more dangerous than picking sides, they’re scuppered. After being taken under the wing of enigmatic Taisto Astergaard, Eirik is entangled with the man’s adopted daughter, Christine, and the only way the polar duo will live is through them ending the decade-long war. The only problem is, his father’s so obsessive with his cause that he now will do anything to put a bullet in his head. And Halldór’s disappeared- how convenient.

2. What work of yours, if any, are you embarrassed about existing?

The fanfiction that I mentioned in Q1 that I plan on rewriting. 

3. What order do you write in? Front of book to back? Chronological? Favourite scenes first? Something else?

Front to back. I tend to leave exposition and descriptions out of the first draft (unintentionally) so I’ll fill in those when I feel like it.

4. Favourite character I’ve written?

Phineas. He was originally a one-dimensional villain (I created him when I was 9) but he’s now one of the most complex characters in the series with the undoubtedly the most well-developed backstory. He’s also developed a great sense of humour over time, and his relationship with Jonathon (who I haven’t introduced on Tumblr yet but I need to. He’s a close second) is one of my favourite things to write.

5. Character you were most surprised to end up writing?

Vladislav. In my plan, he was only supposed to appear in 2/41 chapters. After his personality change, he quickly became one of the major characters. Originally, he was a vain flirt with an ego out the roof. Now he’s a sensitive but righteous boy training to be a lawyer to persecute his mass murdering uncle. Pretty big development for someone who was only created 7 months ago.

6. Something you would go back and change in your writing but it’s too late/complicated to change now.

I’d have added a District based on somewhere in South Asia and also one based on somewhere in Africa. I’m thinking about adding them at the end (since I’ve already stated in my novel that more Districts will come with time), but it’s too late to add them from the beginning.

7. When asked, are you embarrassed or enthusiastic to tell people that you write?

I love telling people I write but hate the follow-up questions, “Tell me about your book!” *pulls out garbage which doesn’t even reflect what my novel is about*

8. Favourite genre to write.

Speculative Fiction. While making characters is my favourite part of writing, I also love world-building. 

9. What, if anything, do you do for inspiration?

I actually play High School Story, Hollywood U and The Sims with my characters inserted. It’s been helpful for one-shots and AU’s more than anything but has given me traits about characters to add to their dimensions for my main works, so it’s win-win.

10. Write in silence or with background music? Alone or with others

Background music and alone. The music has to be a specific genre though.

11. What aspect of your writing do you think has most improved since you started writing?

How I portray emotions. In my older drafts, characters recovered from the deaths of their close friends/relatives in 10 minutes and seemed callous. Now they are all crybabies to compensate.

12. Your weakness as an author?

I rely too much on dialogue and miss out a lot of description.

13. Your strength as an author? 

I write a pretty mean villain (pun intended). This man was reading my work over my shoulder since I mostly write on the bus home and the first thing he said after, “Are you okay?” was “I like Rylan even though he’d scare me sh*tless from the looks of things.” I think I should put that as a review on the book’s cover once it’s (hopefully) published. A 70-year-old man I met on the bus does sound like a reputable source.

14. Do you make playlists for your work?

I have a playlist for Cyrus and that’s it which 90% is Eurobeat since he has a needo for speedo. There’s only has one chapter in his POV.

15. Why did you start writing?

I was a cocky six-year-old and thought I could write a better version of a film I’d just watched. It ended up being about two best friends in a milkshake parlour despite the original film being about a castaway girl. The connection still makes more coherent sense than the fact I got the idea for The Mastery from Mario and Sonic at the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

16. Are there any characters who haunt you?

Alex in his angsty stage. He would threaten to kill people 25/8 because he found out he was adopted.

17. If you could give your fledgeling author self any advice, what would it be?

Keep writing. If you’re that dedicated to your project that you have to write it straight away, remember you can always edit in the future if it’s not up to your standards. And even people who’ve been writing decades are still improving as writing is wayyyy too subjective to be ‘perfect’ at.

18. Were there any works that affected you so much that it influenced your writing style? 

George Orwell’s 1984 has affected my world-building. Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses and Maggie Stiefvater’s Wolves of Mercy Falls series gave me the idea to write under two characters alternating POV’s.

19. When it comes to more complicated narratives, how do you keep track of outlines, characters, development, timeline, etc.?

Charahub and a timeline which I’ve drawn by hand on the back of some unused wallpaper.

20. Do you write in long sit-down sessions or little spurts? 

Either 5 words or 5000, no in between. It depends on whether I feel inclined to write or have inspiration.

21. What do you think when you read over your older work? 

Cringe at all the unnecessary words and repetition- one sentence in my 2012 draft of The Mastery is literally, ‘Alex got up off his bed, walked out of his bedroom door, walked down the stairs, walked into the living room before standing in the doorway of the dining room’. 

22. Are there subjects that make you uncomfortable to write?

Anything to do with extreme physical or sexual assault. Or sex in general since I’ve not written much smut before. 

23. Any obscure life experiences that you feel have helped your writing?

Meeting my biological father at 16 rather than knowing him from birth. Also, one of my characters has impaired vision like me so its easier since I knew all the terminology and experiences without much research.

24. Have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?

Handguns. I’ve used rifles before (I’ve gone clay pigeon shooting before) but since handguns are illegal where I live, I’ve not seen one in person nor had any idea of their usage or the terminology. Quite a few of my characters own them as a precaution so I had to learn. 

25. Copy and paste a few sentences or a short paragraph that you are particularly proud of.

(It’s not short but I freaking love how Chapter 36 of The Mastery panned out. Note this is the chapter 70-year-old man liked)

“Cyrus, Keung. Not the most ideal reunion. How has the family been since I was disowned?”

Keung’s jaw twitched, “I think the reason you kicked out was valid enough. You killed your own grandmother, Rylan.”

Rylan, another one of my many cousins, let out what from his mouth movement looked like was a hearty laugh but sounded like a giggle, “It sounds more impressive than getting disowned for supporting the black sheep in an argument, does it not?”

Keung’s hand had been on his spoon all this time, and he was clenching it to the point his arm shook, “I know grandfather wants nothing to do with either of us Rylan, but that doesn’t mean I want to associate myself with a murderer.”

“You stayed under the Xu thumb for long enough. There are fewer fingers in this room than the number of people Tatsuo has killed. Some are justified, I’ll give him that, but others were falsely accused with no chance at justice.”

He leaned at an angle so that he could stare at me, “It’s good to know that you’re being independent for once in your life, Cyrus. Regardless, it’s a real shame you subsequently allied yourself with another family of murderers.” 

“What else could I have done?” I said, “The Ninth District needs allies, and I have genuine friends from Ivanska, Phinea and Willsborg.”

He cooed as he came to lean against my back, “Considering how we’re he half-breed scum of the family, I thought you’d have considered an alliance with me. You’re the only relative of mine I like and who hasn’t seemed to have fallen under Xu indoctrination.”

“Grandmother accepted the fact we didn’t decide to be half-breeds,” I hissed, “Out of everyone you could have killed, why her?”

He lowered his voice to a whisper, “I intended to kill Tatsuo. The fact she drunk the poison I’d slipped into the Mansion was a mistake. I don’t have many regrets but that is one of them.”

He distanced himself, “I have little in common with the man who I once saw as my dear grandfather, but one of the few things I’ll admit is that if we need to, we’ll both use blood to make a point.”

hullo! i'ev considered creating a blog and maybe doin fan fics for fun for the squad but i feel like i would do the personalities wrong or write them out of character. any advice? also your fics are really good! i really enjoy reading them.

Hello! ^.^ I feel like I’m in the twilight zone because people keep coming to me for advice and I’m, like, super new to the fandom. Plus I’m not that good. Look at some of the people I follow to see REALLY good fics (and art, I’m a sucker for art). But once again, I’ll try my best to help you!

How to keep characters IN character is one of the most important aspects of writing. Not just fanfiction, either. The reason that learning it THROUGH fanfiction is better, though, it because there is already a set expectation of the character. You don’t have to really question changing the character’s personality, because these are already developed people/characters. For example, we know that Evan isn’t the type to rage in a game. To have him do something like that would be really hard to explain unless you imply an event in the story that can create a catalyst for that personality change (an example of this could be hiding a death in the family, someone in the story making racist slurs to him, a fan trying to report his friends as cheaters despite not doing it). I do really advise against that, though, unless absolutely needed for your plotline. My reasoning is that, even if the event would cause an abnormal reaction that one time, the character would eventually go back to how they were. And bringing them back into that previous character is going to be even harder than before. 

Speaking of plotline...not EVERY idea is going to work for every character. It sucks when you do have a cool idea but it doesn’t fit what a person would do. It’s the same as when we were little, trying to fit square pegs into circle holes; no matter how much you want it, it’s not going to work. When making your storyline, you have to make sure the idea you’re coming up with would be in the realm of what they would or wouldn’t do. Having Brian as an atheist because you need a supporting character in that role just doesn’t cut it. His religion is an intricate part of his personality; it’d be like claiming Evan was Russian or Nogla was black. People WILL notice. If you’re doing an AU, some things can be pushed a little. The way people became friends or events that happened in their lives. But don’t make someone who has a really good relationship with their family and talks to them regularly get savagely beaten and left on the side of the road. Don’t make Cartoonz and Delirious absolutely hate each other for no reason. You can make a story have drama or angst without diluting the fact too much. 

And I guess something else I can say is something I said in a previous post; character sheets. If you’re worried about making a character out of character, have a sheet that you can look back at. It can have their quirks, backstories, bio information, and even the plotline of what you want them to do in the story. I’d also look online for character charts. When I’m writing characters for my book, I use a site called “Charahub” which allows you to literally create a character. You don’t really need that amount of information for fanfiction, as you have some of the information (age, height, weight, ethnicity, etc) already on hand. But having a chart where you can say ‘Okay, how would Tyler react to getting told he was hot? How would Craig react to this?’ means that you can make distinct differences between their personalities. Sometimes these reactions will be the same, but sometimes they’re completely different. That’s why it’s important to take the time and really learn the characters before you use them (As you see, I tend to use Scotty less than Ohm because I’ve watched Ohm’s videos way more and feel like I know him better). DON’T throw someone in a story if you don’t have a clue what they’re like. It will ruin the natural flow of the other characters and fans will pick it out like a sore thumb. 

Lastly, respect your characters. It may seem like a weird thing to say, but treat them well. I say this because if you put this onto the internet, it’s there forever. And if, for some reason, these people read your story, you dont want to hurt them. I love the BBS boys, and though I take some liberties with them, I try to portray them the best I can because I respect them as people. They deserve love, and there’s a reason the idea is called FANfiction. Don’t make Panda an abusive asshole or have Brock be a promiscuous cheater. These are just simply NOT who they are. And if that’s someone’s intention, then they really should just create their own stories. Respect your characters like you’d want them to respect you. 

I hope that these tips help, and if they don’t I’m terribly sorry. I can’t say enough how I’m not a super famous or great writer, but I thank you for reaching out to me. Now please enjoy this fandom, as I’m sure they’ll have open arms for you! ^.^

As for now, Characters right now are currently in a "Peaceful State" where this is before Jayden turns 20 which I have posted before. Before he gets edgy. In this state, He is 9, Cynthia is really wealthy and still manages her enormous company, No one is dead yet (besides garnet, aaron, grace and jerry) and Judie is considered a frienemy. Until i get into the first chapters of the current time, this is the setting for now where its all peaceful. Dont be shy to introduce your characters to them but remember that the official events i plan in the story have not happened yet.

Theres currently just one official shipping which is Yuki with Foskys Fionna, Feel free to perhaps do some shippy things I suppose with other characters but Im going to be honest with you. I dont feel comfortable with really any shippy things with Cynthia. It may be strange but I cannot at all see her with anyone unless it really caught my interest but as for now, She is unofficially shipped with Foskys Fionn which Im crossing my fingers will be cannon <:D

If youre going for angst, Dont hold back. I love gore but please, Dont fuck them up too badly.

~Appearance~ Network is a black boned skeleton with orange circles that have a black dot in the middle for pupils. His teeth are green and the tear streaks on his face are orange. His phalanges are orange, with his thumb being green on his left hand; the opposite is true on his right hand. He wears an orange T-Shirt with two, thick dark green diagonal lines going down from left to right on it. His shorts are dark green and his shoes consist of flip flops, one dark green, the other orange.

~Personality~ Network is very shy and reserved around strangers and dislikes having the spotlight altogether. He is normally this way due to his lack of self confidence in himself and his abilities, and at one point thought himself unlovable. However, when he eventually does relax, you see that he is in fact a very sweet and kind hearted child with a soft spot for small creatures. He loves to cuddle, and is cheery most of the time. However, he is very easily frightened and it isn’t hard to lose his trust. He is prone to overreact over the smallest things and will take anything as a sign that he is annoying or hated. He is mainly internally destructive, but if he is extremely upset he can become externally destructive.

~Magic~ Network’s magic is hard to describe. The most that is known is that it is very powerful and it allows him to view (and possibly edit) the code of different universes. Unfortunately if he gets too upset he’ll start using his magic without meaning to, resulting in heavily altered or even deleted pieces of code. The most mild this usually gets is lightly altered code and codes being in places they aren’t meant to be.

~Extra~ *He emits a WiFi signal *He sleeps with his bunny, Emil. *His last thought before becoming an error was, “Why don’t they love me?” *He is easily the strongest of my OCs. Problem is, he can’t control his powers and he often ends up destroying something when he feels too threatened. *He once destroyed a building with said power, which was how he and Paprika met. ~Relationships~ *if you want a relationship between Network and your muse to be canon or rp canon, message me Canon- Coriander: Network thinks of Coriander as a big sister, even though he does not see her often. When he is around her, he is comfortable enough to ask her for advice and whatnot, something he normally only shares with Paprika. Paprika (Belongs to Minty Sprint): Ever since Paprika took on the role of becoming his guardian, they have had a very tight knit relationship. In fact, even when she had first met him after he destroyed a building, he seemed to be slightly more comfortable around her than others. They have a strong parent-child relationship and Paprika does whatever it takes to protect him. However, even Network occasionally has his doubts about their close relationship, sometimes thinking that she only pities him or that he annoys her. Despite this, he still routinely looks to her for care and guidance. Basil (Belongs to Minty Sprint): Basil was wary of Network when he was first adopted by Paprika, since he knew Network was capable of destroying a building. However, he eventually gave into his cute charm and the two now have a normal relationship. Firewall: Firewall and Network are incredibly close. They often play together. Network admires Firewall’s creativity and often goes to her room whenever he feels scared, since she finds it hard to go to bed anyway. Rock Salt: Rock Salt and Network get along well, though they are not extremely close. Kiepfri: Network thinks Kiepfri is a nice person, and was very confused when Paprika warned him about her. Fun Dip: Network loves Fun Dip and they are very close friends. The two are most often seen together. However, he wishes Fun Dip would be more careful and maybe quit stealing so often.

Hello, I was wondering, how do you keep all your ESO characters straight (or gay) in your head. And I've seen you've answered this next question before, but who are all your ESO characters? And do you play them all? the story over and over, or are the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests randomly generated? I have trouble just playing one character and she's not even an original for the ESO timeline. Sorry if you've answered all these questions before, have a nice day.

My current list of ESO characters that I actually play as:

Niraen - Altmer Templar, Aldmeri Dominion, Fighter’s Guild

Maggie Tyrne - Breton Nightblade, Daggerfall Covenant, Thieves Guild

Cassandra Arctos - Imperial Warden, Ebonheart Pact

Ellie Tyrne - Breton Nightblade, Vampire, Dark Brotherhood

Lakora - Orc Sorcerer, Daggerfall Covenant, Mages Guild

Cyrelas Lorellus - Altmer Nightblade, Aldmeri Dominion

Orion Lorellus - Altmer Nightblade, Thieves Guild, Hopeless Case

There’s also Maevis Araea, though she’s now an NPC and I don’t play as her anymore though she does still serve an important role in Maggie and Ellie’s story, and Orion might end up going the same way just because he’s becoming quite frustrating to play on account of his incredibly bad luck.

And tbh, whilst I mostly tend to keep track of everything in my head, I am working on Charahub pages for my OCs which’ll keep a general overview of them, so that should help me keep track. My tags aren’t the most reliable places to look anymore, considering how much these idiots change over the course of their development and how they’re still surprising me at every turn and then changing their minds later.

As for how I play quests, Niraen, Maggie and Ellie have had a couple of do-overs, but aside from that, I’ve been keeping to the one profile for each character. Since finishing Aldmeri Dominion and Coldharbour with Niraen, I’ve mostly been keeping her busy with the other Alliances and some Vvardenfell questlines, Maggie will be doing the same now she’s finished the main quest. 

The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild story quests unlock every time you increase your rank in those guilds by points of 5, 10, or 20. In the Dark Brotherhood, you get 5 points for a regular Marked for Death contract (killing one specfic person), 10 points for a Spree Marked for Death Contract (three random targets in a specific location), 10 points for completing a Black Sacrament without completing all of Terenus’ challenges, and 20 points for completing a Black Sacrament and all of Terenus’ challenges. Story missions also offer points towards your rank, usually about 10, though I think some offer 20. The Thieves Guild is similar. With jobs from the Tip Board, and from Spencer Rye you can get points (I don’t remember exactly how many) and you get them from completing Heists (the bane of my existence if you’re trying to complete them perfectly). 

Sacraments, Spencer jobs and Heists are dailies, so you only get one of those a day, whilst Marked for Death contracts and Tip Board jobs can be done repeatedly throughout the day.

Here are MagiMonsters! The pitch of the series is centered around Magical Monster Girls, called Guardians or MagiMonsters. All around the world, some girls are chosen to become Human-Monsters hybrid called Guardians in order to defend the Monsters and the Humans from each other’s dangers.

All MagiMonsters work on their own, in their zone of operations. But when the work is too tough, they have to rely on one of the Seven Teams, each one of the Teams being affected to a region of the world.

The Main Story focuses on Team #4, the North American Team (First Picture, drawing by me). MEMBERS OF FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:

Nikita Michalkova, the Cikavac MagiMonster. A compassionate healer with the ability to talk to animals.

Naomi Yaaseen, the Serpopard MagiMonster. Impulsive, adventurous fighter with a lot of fun and gifted speed.

Anuva Solanki, the Naga MagiMonster. Leader of the Team, she is a gifted girl with a secretive background. She is the strategic force of the Team.

Aoife Monaghan, the Dullahan MagiMonster. A silent, stubborn knight. granted with incredible resistance. She has a lot of experience, but isn’t very talkative to her teammates.

and Moriko Kimura, the Tanuki MagiMonster, protagonist of the story. Newcomer of the Team and to the MagiMonster world, her newfound ability to shapeshift and her social personality will help her new teammates.

Moriko, Aoife, Naomi, and Nikita are in the same School in Oregon state, while Anuva stays around the Flux (the Team’s base of operations) to work on affairs. They are aided by Thunderbird Goddess Wakiya (Charahub Link), who is the “Manager” of the Team and one of the Seven Upper Goddesses. Together, they fight in North America to aid the Solo MagiMonsters when their task is too overwhelming.

Also included in the photoset are Main Characters of Side Stories set in the MagiMonster Universe.

Yuzuki Yukimura (artwork by @amemenojaku), the Tsukumogami MagiMonster. A young girl from a bloodline of guardians, cursed by Onino, the “Demon’s Blade” (though he is actually a normal sword with sentience). She is the protagonist of “Yuzuki’s Story” (working title), a story centered on Japanese MagiMonsters.

Loïse Arianne de Batz de Castelmore (artwork by @phantasmago-rea), the Phantom MagiMonster. Sister of D’artagnan, she is a ghost fencer and allied herself to Tearlag (Wraith) and Kriemhild (Geist) to fight against British Ghosts and find the Wraith MagiMonster in a Side Story about Ghost MagiMonsters.

Well, I guess you didn’t know that. Anyway, it’s my highly canon-divergent Wizard101 fanfiction. Here is its blurb: 

A mage girl from Earth is mind controlled into following ateam of wizards to Ravenwood, where school administration and the SpiralProtection Foundation handwave away her questions about the matter. Eth mustfind out on her own the reason she was taken and what to do next, and not rulesnor locks nor danger will stop her. 

So yeah. The main character (of which there is only one, a rare occurrence in this fandom) is Eth Rosovenkoff, a 15-year-old Earthling wizard girl. 

Nobody has guessed at what school she is yet, so that remains a mystery. I was going to reveal it on April Fools Day, but phrase it in such a manner that it was technically true but essentially a lie, and confirm it the next day, but then I decided to ditch tumblr for a week instead. 

Here are some fun facts about Eth: 

She is mute. 

She denies that she is mute, because she can, on occasion, force out like 2 words. 

She knows American Sign Language. 

She made up her own sign language when she was very young, and still uses what she can remember of it sometimes for fun, or when she can’t remember the word in ASL. 

She wanted to be a programmer. 

She was in her third semester at college for an Associate’s degree in computer science when she was kidnapped. 

She still wants to be a programmer. She’s going to love spellcoding. 

She has an optical degenerative disease, and is slowly going blind. 

She wears heavily red-tinted glasses, because blue light hurts her eyes. 

She can read Braille. 

One of the previous bullet points is a straight-up lie. 

She is not good at following rules or doing what she is told. 

Pretty much every major plot point starts with “Eth did something stupid, and.” Hey, at least she’s proactive. 

She loses her right arm halfway through the story. 

During the events that involved losing her arm, she found a 36-inch crowbar she now uses as her primary weapon. 

She starts out as one of those pretentious phah,-I-don’t-wear-makeup girls, then because of Reasons she needs to get really good at makeup and realizes it’s actually pretty cool. 

She’s super gay. (pff what I don’t ship her with Sabrina Greenstar where did you get that idea)

Her favorite color is red. 

Her abstract magic (…) is electric cyan. She is pissed about this, because see above where I said blue light hurts her eyes. 

I also have 56 other OCs so far (I’m counting Mercury, even though he’s technically a co-opt and that’s not his real name), with varying degrees of characterization. A list can be found here. Dawn, Visage, the as-yet-unnamed Writer and Journalist, and Angel should also be on the list, but I made them later. 

Some of my favorite non-Eth characters are, in no particular order: Slava, Perry, Hat Lord, Mercury, Milena, Genimo, Orlando, and Roz. 

Perry is a time traveler, Genimo desperately wants to be a time traveler, Hat Lord is a fifth wall-breaking Ravenwood professor, Mercury is a Dragonspyrian officer who is unfortunately married to Milena, Milena… spoilers, Orlando is Eth’s partner in crime, Roz is a sentient book, and Slava claims to bea species that is logically impossible and 101 different people including future Eth with not the slightest bit of evidence for either assertion (Slava is my #1 favorite). 

AGP is no longer on ff.net or AO3, because reasons, but I’m still working on it. The original three chapters are actually available, if you can figure out how to get them, but they’re cringy and I’ve changed a lot of stuff since writing them. I’m currently working on revamping chapter 1, and I wouldn’t mind a third beta.
