How do people just immediately like a post of mine one singular second after I posted it? Are you lurking on my blog continuously just waiting for a new post to appear? My respect for the swiftness and dedication, but how do you do that? It reminds me of my stalking brother, he also watches every move I do continuously.

How tf do Vertibirds even work? I'm writing a lot of scenes with Vertibirds and I keep saying "he took the key out of the ignition" after they land because I don't want the possibility of a mf stealing it. Like?? Keys feel so old school for this time period?? But if all it takes is a button press, that feels like it's too easy to steal it. Idk man.

I know there already were several post about that, but I'm still confused about how Hillerska work as a boarding school.

To say from where I'm coming, it takes me some time to understand that Sprucewood is not another school but just a different house of Hillerska. So know I see that as the houses in Harry Potter ? And it makes me understand the role of August as a prefect (because it's not something I ever heard about outside of Harry Potter).

But I thought that each house has its own bulding (to sleep and eat). But in S2e4, we see that the dinning rooms of Forest Bridge et The manor are in the same building (we see Sara and August look at each other).

So why don't we see boys and girls interact more in the building (before and after meals)? Because they make a lot of noise, and the "on the table" episodes must be heard from across the hall.

And I don't even talk about eating together (lol).

Is this a specific building for the meals of all the houses ? How many houses is there (3, more ?)?

Quick questions about being a martyr -

If the martyr is gay does he get 72 male virgins?

If the martyr is a straight female does she get gangbanged by 72 horny male virgins? They all finish within 30 seconds and she is awkwardly unsatisfied? Does she thinks to herself “I have made a bad decision” as number 37 is standing there with nothing but socks on eager to pop his cherry?

What if she is a gay woman? She enters the room with 72 lesbians and they are all gold stars but have been fucking each other before the martyr arrived?

How old are the virgins? Does allah make them fresh or are they people who died when they were virgins? Like, here is a class of dead kindergartners… have fun 😜

If they are asexual what happens then? They get 72 virgins for what? They’ve never cuddled before? Just Netflix, no chill?

What if the martyr isn’t a Muslim? Do they get the same treatment or are they considered infidels and assigned virgin status to be given to a real martyr?

Hey, everyone else who's also poring over ofmd screenshots to try to figure out Stede's ridiculous cabin,

We forgot something: the mizzenmast!

The masts go all the way through the ship, so the mizzenmast has to go through Stede's cabin somewhere. My bet is somewhere behind the fireplace. (Is that safe? Doubt it.) Which I think still leaves room for some secret passages for Lucius to hide in.

Another thing I noticed that might help in figuring out light sources (a.k.a. How the hell is there a window there?) is that Stede's cabin has a number of deck prisms.

They're not a huge source of light, but one of these might explain, say, the light in the auxiliary closet coming from the right of the wardrobe that @dancing-with-the-madmen pointed out.

I know most people are just handwaving it as "the Revenge is a TARDIS," which, fair, but I like to think there is a floorplan and we will figure it out one day. Courage, friends!

Why does therapy works?

Regardless of the approach you choose fo your therapy, if you find the therapist you click with...it's probably gonna work. There's a whole field of reaserch born frome the big question up here, the answer they came up with is the "Dodo truth".

The Dodo is a character in Alice in wonderland, you know? The weird bird that organize/direct the marathon where Alice and other characters run around in circles? That one! It literally comes from there. When asked to judge the winner of the marathon, at last the Dodo said: "Everybody has won and all must have prizes". This is our point, every kind of therapy can "win"...be the right one for you (some of them are just more focused on some method/problems than others).

So what's the game-changer? The researchers affirm that there are few common factors that might be the ones involved:

The relationship between You and your therapist: good therapists are good because they can build a safe and healthy relationship with their clients. It looks different from the one you have with friends...but that's good because a lot of wounds you have with you are relational wounds and you need a healthy relationship to heal those wounds

TRUST THAT "CHANGE IS POSSIBLE": both from the therapist and You

A set of good psychological explanations about the problems and in response of the patients doubts

A set of good procedures and techniques that can start something useful and positive for the client.

Integration: a good therapist will help you integrate yourself. I'm talking about body- emotions-mind-spirit...often we live trough these things in a detached way or as they're disconnected from eachother. Believe it or not, you can swing between your perceptions and use one to get to know the others.

So, a good relationship with your therapist is necessary but not sufficient for "a good therapy". Your therapist must be smart and well trained/informed* BUT You gotta do your part too! Trust the process, believe in the possibility to change. You deserve to feel good!

*remember that we keep studying all along our carreer, and if we don't know what you're talking about, we're going to reaserch the shit out of it to give you everything you could need. Also don't be afraid to teach us something new! We're humans, we learn from eachother (if your therapist is not willing to learn more, leave) - with love, Gigi (who's Gigi??)
