Hello! Sha sent me a link to Flight of the Dove over discord, and recommended Spare Change as well, and I’ve been GUSHING to her about how much I loved them and then because I’m weird instead of reading The Pigeons Perch like I meant to I saw you had an adult Mikey x OC fic and got excited so I read Silk next cause I NEVER see adult Mikey fics unless he’s dying in the apocalypse (and you’re so right btw about how he’s always infantilized and as a youngest sibling I GET IT which is so frustrating) and I FUCKING LOVE IT oh my god. It had me desperately trying to keep a straight face at work and then when I finished it at the end of my shift, giggling in my car, I saw you wrote that the second part would be out soon but then I saw the last date updated was in MAY and I about cried BUT!!! I consoled myself cause I know you’ve been writing your blessed cowboy au which I love oh so dearly and anyway this is me rambling to say thank you for your works so much I ADORE them and are you still planning to finish Silk after you wrap up the other projects that are taking up your brain space first? Cause I love all your works equally so any update makes me happy but Silk has a special place in my heart because ADULT MIKEY!! that ISNT dying in the apocalypse!!! and I LOVE HASSAN!!!!

Thank you so much for saying such nice things to me???? Omg???? I never know how to accept compliments but please know I've thought about this all day and do a little dance about it.

Second! SILK! MIKEY! HASSAN!! I love them both so very much and they take up so much room in my heart and my head that it's surprising other things can squeeze their way in there (there's not a lot of room). Sha told me she yelled about them which tracks because she is their biggest cheerleader lol. If anyone loves them as much as I do it's her. And honestly, it makes sense because seeing her GF Mikey really inspired Silk.

Fun fact! I've been on a bit of a hiatus with ALL my work, because my brain fizzled out, BUT- the thing I've been working on with any sense of efficiency is SILK! I'm just over here plugging away, and it will probably be the thing I update next!

I hate that it's been a while since I've updated anything- but I'm feeling more motivated lately so fingers crossed!

Again, thank you so much. I'm so glad you've enjoyed my silly little fic's and getting asks like this is always so flattering. 🥰😘😘😘😘

“Took your damn time,” she notes, stabbing the cigarette out.

He waits. Rosaria’s not known for her patience.

Annoyance purses her mouth. “You fucked up.”

The immediate quip on his tongue, catty and dismissive, is bitten back. For all Rosaria’s icy airs, there’s very little she cares about enough to meddle so personally. That short list, and Diluc’s bizarre night, points in a singular direction.

Still, when he speaks, it’s difficult to keep his hackles out of his tone. “Have I, now.”

A grunt, and an appraising stare. “Don’t pull that nonsense with me. The only time his pretty little feathers get ruffled so bad is when you’re involved.”

Diluc crosses his arms.

She raises a hand, palm out to ward off the rebuttal he wasn’t offering. “Not asking for specifics. I refuse to get caught up in whatever is wrong with you two. The fallout, though? That is my problem.”

“How so?”

This time, the stare is enough to strip paint. “Jean’s going to need her enforcers while she solidifies her seat. We don’t have time for him to lose his shit.”

At that, Diluc can’t hold back a scoff. “Kaeya’s not so distractible.”

Rosaria snorts an ugly laugh. “Stupid is not a good look for you, hot-shot.”

Clue: Failtopia Edition

I’m only calling it Clue, instead of the far superior name Cluedo, because I assume most people will know it as that.

It took quite a lot of brainrot to get to this point, but lately I've been thinking about a hypothetical new version of the board game Clue, but themed around Failtopia. If Clue: Scott the Woz Edition exists, I don't see any reason why this can't. I will assume you, the reader, know the rules of the game, because it isn’t my job to explain them in this post.

The lore I made up is that, instead of Darker Lord Lemon (AKA, Lee) simply calling out Failboat for being terrible at his job, he blackmails him with that information instead, and while he's at it, he blackmails five other members of the party with other information he has.

Some time later, it becomes apparent that one of these six people has betrayed the party and murdered Darker Lord Lemon themselves, dumping the body in the Travellers' Hub, with no marks to indicate a murder weapon. An investigation is carried out to see who killed the Darker Lord, with what weapon, and where they did it.

Here are my concepts for the suspects:

Chef Maroon (Mar) almost killed the entire population of Miitopia three years ago, and possessed Lemon for a long time in the process. If the public finds out that it was Maroon who did all of that, he'll never be able to redeem himself. Lemon must be silenced.

Captain Mustard (Failboat) is completely innocent of the accusations Lemon throws at him, of being the incompetent god of the universe, but he still feels threatened by the Darker Lord's sheer malice, and is probably unlucky enough to kill Lemon in a simple attempt to fight.

Priest Plum (Friend) was the victim of a sinister plan Lemon carried out long before the blackmailing - attaching his face to Plum's, seeing into and manipulating their mind. He now knows the dark secrets of Plum's psyche, which should never be released.

Ms Obsidian (Erica) is a former Cleric, who quit her job due to the sheer number of idiotic fighters who died in front of her eyes. Lemon intends to list all the people who "died because of her", and Obsidian doesn't want to deal with her trauma from those deaths any more.

Dr Teal (Chi) is a Scientist of sorts, but most of her interests are related to fire. She's committed several acts of arson, and even broke into a high school to steal all of her equipment. If Lemon reveals her crimes to the world, her entire scientific career is doomed.

Princess Pink (Bo) is actually a ghost disguising as a human, who was hired to join the party and assassinate Maroon. Although she’s given up on that job, she still has a long list of dark secrets Lemon could expose, and she does indeed have the means to assassinate him.

The party has a lot of weapons at their disposal, but six of them have evidently seen more use than the rest, and are the most likely to be the murder weapon as a result: The Frying Pan, The Scythe, The Staff, The Sword, The Bottle, and The Blade Fan.

It is also theorised that, despite the location of the body, Darker Lord Lemon was actually murdered somewhere else in Miitopia: Greenhorne, Neksdor, The Realm of the Fey, Karkaton, New Lumos, Galados Isle, The Powdered Peaks, Peculia, or Nimbus.

The game plays exactly the same as it always does, the changes I’ve made are entirely cosmetic.

No physical version of this game exists, and I don’t have any current plans to make one, these are all hypothetical concepts located entirely within my trauma-riddled head. Let me know if, for some reason, you’d be interested in that!

Day 3 of the semester complete! 4h30 of classes and classes until 7pm 🫠

This semester is gonna be exhausting, but bar 2 classes I think it'll be the most useful one! They're letting us actually use frameworks in ASW, yessss.

Tomorrow it's gonna be an entire day at uni, but I have my snacks, my water bottle, my ipad and calculus exercises to complete + 8h of classes (regretting everything at this point, nevermind the water bottle).
