Maybe I shouldn't publicize this, but... I have actually written fanfiction for Gorillaz. As in the cartoon characters that appear in the vids, as in 2D and Murdoc. I know, I am now cancelled. I just really like the music, ok?

11) what aspect of your writing do you think has most improved since you started writing?

.... uhmmm... I guess when I started everyhitng was chunkier and more disconnected? I think I've managed to make stories flow a little better.

12) your weaknesses as an author

I abandon stories 😬 And is not even that I don't know what will happen, I usually do? I know what would happen in the next installments, often till the end. But I just... don't write it. Why Clara. (Also why I write so many oneshots, so I don't leave people hanging) Also that if people stop giving me kudos and comments I just stop. I should be over that, shouldn't I? Is been so long.

13) your strengths as an author

Do I have any? lol. I guess I can come with ideas and scenarios and such fairly quickly, and I can come up with little scenes and world building related to that (absolutely love AUs and seeing how to transfer the characters to a new setting).

15) why did you start writing?

I mean, I write since I was a little kid. If we mean fic... I guess I wanted more whump, and it didn't scratch my specific itches. And then, you know, is a nice stress reliever, and just very enjoyable :)

I am doing very well, I hope the same for you. ÒAÓ BUT MUST YOU TORMENT ME SO?! NOW I HAVE TO CHOOOSEEE. Okay okay, I shall keep it to 3 favourite things.

1. My absolute favourite thing about Furukawa is his silent justice. Though always present, it is silent as a shadow.

During Kuromyu, because Furukawa knows how 2.5D actors are paid (or strictly speaking, NOT paid), he frequently paid for everybody else’s food to lighten their financial burden. Related links here and here. Additionally, I love his aggressively present basic decency and his incredible ability to be thoughtful. Click this here to learn about Furukawa’s respect for women.

I love how always when Furukawa does something amazing such as in the examples 1 and 2 above ⇑, Furukawa never bothers to mention any of it; he is humble and these deeds mean nothing to him. Instead it is always his colleagues or staff who report on these amazing deeds. (His deeds are so amazing that his colleagues/staff just HAVE to show them off XD)

The second favourite thing is his openness about his ““weaknesses”” and struggles. Especially because he is a man, conventionally attractive, and has social status. It is very easy for someone like this to want to keep up the ‘manly front’. And easier still for someone else to fall into the trap of thinking that Furukawa has no struggles because the social privileges are aligned for him. But despite being a man, he is not afraid of casually talking about insecurities, anxiety and gendered bias. He shows people that there is no shame about these issues, and that issues are as ‘normal’ or as ‘shameful’ as you make them.

I was talking with somebody about how Furukawa has become a source of personal relief for them and myself as well. Furukawa is an idol to me, not because he is a literal idol, but because he is a role model. He leads by good example, and it is empowering! (To the person whom I am talking about, please feel free to come forward as well if you’d like to ^^ Anybody else who also feels like sharing your story, LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS 💖)

The third favourite thing about him is his ability to always defy what is expected with ground-breaking insights, while able to make total sense of them. The feeling I often have with him is: “OMG, how did I not see this! It makes so much sense!”

Having a good idea is one thing, but he is also able to translate his interpretation into body language. I adore how he translated Sebas’ conjured human body into ballet on stage. For some examples, click here, here, here and here
