i'm still so incredibly excited about this. it's been some months since the story event that caused these scars, but i wanted SO BADLY to be able to see what they'd actually Look like... & Here They Are.

ruporas rendered the scars So Well, i just cant stop Looking at them... there's a Fresh & a Healed version, which ruporas was kind enough to give me without additional charge (Thank U Again😭😭) so i get to see what it looks like at different stages.

Lichtenberg Figures. in terms of actual scarring, lightning strikes that people survive don't tend to leave permanent scars, but the lichtenberg figures that they (usually temporarily) leave behind are just So Cool... Now, what happens when you get someone who can survive an amount of electricity/lightning that would be Frankly Lethal to any normal human person?

Bakugou who isn’t above begging you for kisses. Has no qualms about pinching your cheeks in between his fingers, getting all close in your face while he pouts his lips at you.

“Where’s my fuckin’ kiss?” Says it like he’s so offended that you didn’t immediately cover him in kisses after he’s come in from work. Followed you all around the house while you chattered on and on about your day, only taking a breath to ask how his was, finding yourself cornered when you turn around. He’s all big and hulking, would be a terrifying sight to anyone who didn’t know that he was just a stupid clingy teddy bear.

“Gimme my damn kiss, woman,” he’ll bite at you when you’re too busy rattling off about how much you’ve missed him when he finally comes home after a long mission away. Grips your jaw between meaty fingers as he smashes him mouth against your own, tears mingling between your lips to make the kiss salty, but he swears he has missed your taste more than anything in the world.

“Can I please get my kiss?” He asks when he’s sleepy, dead tired and up far too late for his own liking. You’re up in bed beside him, tapping away at your phone, keeping him up bc you’re not cuddling against him. He paws at you, frowning, until you lean down and cup his cheek in your hand as you kiss him so softly, so sweet and gentle, that he can’t help but hum and sink lower into the cushions. He still grumbles when you pull away, but it’s enough to suffice tonight.

“I don’t care about your stupid morning breath, just kiss me already.” He’ll complain when he’s leaving for work in the morning, sitting on the edge of the bed where you sleep. He looks down at you with a soft smile, eyes gushing with love as he watches you frown and twist and yawn yourself awake. He won’t leave until you peck at his mouth once, twice, so many times that you have to push him away with a reminder that he has to go now lest he be late. He kisses your forehead before he leaves, and wishes you a good day.

“I’m alive now, ain’t I? Kiss me just to make sure I’m really here.” He tells you quietly from where he lays bandaged and bruised on his hospital bed, his good fingers weakly gripping your own as he watches the tears drip from your chin. His mouth is like a welcome home, his lips chapped and dry from dehydration, but he’s alive and this kiss he’s asked you for is enough proof of that.

Bakugou loves your kisses, and will never be above begging for them. They’re the only thing that keeps him grounded to this world, and for that, he’s forever thankful.

post apocalypse au where the plot of stranger things doesn't happen but vecna still tears the world open and brings the upside down right side up. and the scattered people who managed to survive the initial earthquakes and power outages and complete breakdown of society have to contend not only with creatures from the upside down trying to eat them, but also with what the bleeding of an alternate dimension into their reality is doing to their bodies

people with prolonged exposure to larger tears seem to be slowly changed into something else, like some radioactivity from the dimension is mutating them. people grow claws, or leathery wings, or their face peels open, or they turn into unrecognisable piles of eldritch goo. there's vampires, were-demogorgons, flayed, weird ghosts, and the number of super powered people like el was in the show skyrockets

other people who manage avoid this fate shun those that fell to it. and to an extent it's reasonable, some people who get changed in this way completely lose their humanity, like the flayed, and while others retain it it probably doesn't seem that way when a vampire-like person needs human blood to survive. but a lot of people are just as terrified of the changes happening to them as other people are, and while they may not be harmless, they'd much rather use their new biological advantages to keep people safe

despite this, people that have been 'corroded' by the upside down are ostracised, feared, sometimes outright hunted by regular humans. so sometimes, they band together. form their own little apocalypse groups

eddie is in one of those groups. he wouldn't say he's the leader, bc they don't really have a hierarchical structure and eddie likes to think he's managed to maintain his anarchic ideals even in the face of the apocalypse. but he is the oldest, and the most scary looking (if not the most actually dangerous), so the combination of everyone being younger and his ability to scare off corroded-hunters that come looking for them means everyone else kind of follows his lead

so no one really questions when he comes back to camp one day holding two passed out humans. a mole-dotted man and a freckled woman, probably about eddie's age, who were injured and had crawled into a ruin building to die. and like. what was eddie supposed to do, leave them there??? no, gareth, it has nothing to do with how pretty the guy is. no, eddie doesn't know how they'll react when they wake up in the middle of a corroded camp, they'll cross that bridge when they get there. el says she senses that they're good people, so clearly everything will be fine actually!!!!!

Today sucked at levels I haven't experienced since 2018 but the great thing about my job is it's full of dogs and sometimes we have a hat to put on them.

AND WE'RE JUST GONNA MOVE PAST THAT????????? literally NO one else has been said to be able to do this #and like. hm. is it. is it... love?? #like you know how zelda and her powers are implied to work the same. they focus on protecting the one(s) they love & their powers activate #(i know people theorise that mipha was going to tell zelda her power works when she thinks about link but i've always thought she was going #to say that it works when she thinks about saving the person under her care. because it doesnt really make sense to me that her healing #would work for other people if she was only focused on saving link you know? so i've always thought it was just 'saving the people i love') #and zelda is technically able to do this with link after he wakes up and he's the only person her powers woke for #so does this work maybe like an inverse or an extension of how their powers usually work? like instead of it just being their love for the #other person it's the other person/people's love or reciprocated love for them. zelda & link are implied to have really only had each other #but mipha. mipha had a family and a whole kingdom. she was connected to nearly all of them when she passed and both these events #are said to have taken place shortly after she fell. in the dlc she asks link to pass on a message to sidon for her implying that she #can no longer speak to him as she once could. perhaps that's just her power waning over time but if you think about it in the context #of how the domain is slowly losing people who knew her and those who remain only remember her for what she did for them rather than who #she truly was then could she have stopped being able to connect with them because there was no one left who loved her as they once did. #loved her for who she was. #was she in vah ruta reaching out for her father and brother and realising slowly that they were forgetting her #...
