Let’s just say I have a lot on my plate at the moment but I’m so grateful for all the support you guys have shown me through these past busy months. Thank you as always for your patience with my slow updates and maybe I’ll find some time to sketch something for the TMNT AU Competition later on @tmntaucompetition Hopefully some of these projects will be finally wrapped up in the next few months and I can return to Replica 100%

Also fun fact about me. Sometimes I get a little carried away with world building. Normally my friends and collaborators keep me on a tight leash, but now I’m completely unsupervised and reaping what I’ve deeply sewn. For better or for worse.

NOTE: Don't be scared, my question shouldn't have much impact on the actual story of Replica... I just like to know all the little details.

So over a year ago, I had the pleasure of finding the TARDIS Tin that was made to promote the TV Movie back in 1996. Some of the contents weren't the original versions- the screening tickets are replicas, as well as the jelly babies.

(Plus a Fox promotion card, seen on the far left of the bottom photo.)

The set of photos (first seen in 2022) were extras to go with the listing. However, the two other photos (on the right) are legit, actually from the original kit.

The press notes are also the og copy as well. I do believe the VHS is the real version, but the case was remade.

Ah, love little, rare treasures from the TV Movie. Little bits of Who history that make my heart squeal.

I saw this post by @notebooks-and-laptops about Izzy's love language being acts of service and I felt... Compelled to do something about it.

One time something happens, maybe someone falls overboard, and Izzy jumps in to save the person. When he succeeds he's back on the deck, all trembling and soaking wet, but everyone just kind of goes to the person he saved immediately, not paying him any mind.

Everyone but Stede and Ed.

Ed wraps his arm protectively around Izzy, Stede keeping close on his other side, and together the three of them walk into the captain's quarters. Stede makes him a steaming cup of good tea completely unprompted, like it's the most natural thing for him to be making tea for Izzy fockin Hands.

And yet there he is.

Surrounded by two men who both love him, and who are overjoyed to have him back safe.

They spend the rest of the night huddling together, Ed and Stede squeezing Izzy flush between their warm bodies. At first Izzy does try to protest weakly against the closeness, but soon comes to realise that he DOES feel warmer like this. It surely has to do with Stede being a walking furnace, nothing more than that.

And yet, some chilly nights, Izzy is the one to initiate cuddling with his two beloved men. In the morning he tries to brush it off as something he did barely awake, but Ed smirks at that, and Stede graciously changes the topic.

 So, I know with Mount Doom erupting and all that there probably won’t be a chance for any festivities for quite a while, but I really wanna see Galadriel and Halbrand dance together. I’m dead serious. Give me that unconsummated love filled with longing looks while everyone else stares on in shock and they don’t notice any of it. I want Elrond by the punch bowl with his mouth hanging open, Durin sniggering in the corner with all the dwarves as they toast with ale, Arondir grinning because he’s arm-in-arm with Bronwyn and he gets it, Gil-galad fuming in indignation while he tries to rant to Celebrimbor about it, and Celebrimbor not hearing any of it because he’s just smiling fondly like an approving grandfather and says, “Ah, young love . . . ” Elrond hears this and drops his punch and storms out of the room. Durin breaks the silence by yelling, “Cheers!” and everybody else hollers “Cheers!” and yeah. I want that.

New Fandom Binge Reblog Warning
