This past Friday I counter-protested a pro-Hamas (and yes, it was pro-Hamas) rally with some friends from Chabad.

In the time I was there I heard the people in that rally call for a one-state solution, the complete destruction of Israel, justification of Oct 7th, etc. Nothing about those demonstrations is pro-peace. As I said in one of my slightly older posts, they don't want peace. They are actively asking for the genocide of Jews/Israelis.

A girl from the demonstration tried to come over to talk to us but the attempt at dialogue unfortunately fell short once she started denying the rape Hamas committed on Oct 7th and the mistreatment of the hostages. She then proceeded to say she supports Hamas, at which point we ("we" including her) found it pointless to continue the conversation.

So yeah, a demonstration calling for a one-state solution and the destruction of the one Jewish state is not pro-peace. It is pro-Hamas, antisemitic, and pro-genocide.

It really is that simple.

The existence of Israel is not up for debate. Hamas is counterproductive towards improving the quality of life for Palestinians. The atrocities of Oct 7th are undeniable tragedies that cannot be justified. The hostages should be returned home without the exchange of criminals with Jewish blood on their hands.

None of those statements should be controversial.

It's funny she was on your side and you went after her after you thought she was Pro-Israel I don't see this on the Pro-Israel side you demonize. It just shows how toxic you are and this movement is based on extreme self-righteous bigotry dressed up as social justice. And in my opinion even those who condemned this would support it if she was actually Pro-Israel because you guys are sociopaths who lack any real compassion and love hurting anyone you deem as morally inferior to yourselves. It really just shows how bigoted anti-zionism is and I hope your movement is seen as the hate movement it is someday. Throw the words pro-genocide and pro-child killing around to justify your rotten support but the more your scumbag behavior is revealed the more it shows that you keep anti-semitism alive more than ironically the white supremacists can.

Can people just acknowledge that both palestenian and israeli citizens are suffering? the israeli people are not the villains, and neither are palestenian people. They are all victims of Hamas, and all the other terrorist groups involved. It hurts me to see people using the issue as fuel for antisemitism and fuel to call for the disbanding of Israel as a whole.

The Harris poll from February reports that 82% of American's surveyed support Israel's fight against Hamas with the majority of surveyed wanting a cease fire only after the hostages are returned and Hamas is removed from power.

With the vitriol that's been spit at "Zionists" (we all know what they mean) and the negativity on this site, I hope this can bring a bit of hope to those feeling alone in their schools and cities.
