Book mail from @bookofthemonth ! I’ll be honest, because I am so bad at keeping up with my unread books AND have run out of shelf space, I don’t keep a subscription very long. What enticed me to go back is wanting an edition of The Rules of Magic to match with my copy of Practical Magic (which I got from the BOTM). HOWEVER, there are so many interesting books on their lists like my pick for this month, Thistlefoot by @_gennarose_ which I’m excited to get to… eventually 😅 I’m a sucker for retold, reinvented, and classic folk tales, fairy tales, legends, and the like. New Year’s Eve with Supreme Master Ching Hai
On New Year’s Eve, our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai, who continues to meditate intensively for our world, shared some of Her precious time and treated the Supreme Master Television team with more stories She lovingly translated from the book, “A Treasury of Jewish Folklore” compiled by Nguyễn Ước.
Master also expressed Her wish for the New Year.
I wish all the world to be enlightened. (Yes, Master.) After World Vegan, World Peace, they should be enlightened. That’s even better. But right now, I don’t dare to wish so much. It’s just World Vegan, World Peace. That’s already very lucky for me. But enlightenment is the best thing that we could have.
What a wonderful way to bring in the New Year – spending time with You, Supreme Master Ching Hai! Our deep gratitude, Most Compassionate Master, for Your ever-present Wisdom and Love, always patiently guiding us and the world to a more uplifted way of being and for offering the most precious gift of all, enlightenment through the Quan Yin Method of meditation. May 2021 be the year when all of Your wishes come true. We continue to pray for Master to have excellent health, much peace and happiness, and may She be forever protected by the Mighty Godses.

The Snake Inside Humans, Feb. 18, 2021
On February 18, 2021, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai, still in the midst of an intensive meditation retreat for our world, reserved precious time to kindly read another story to the Supreme Master Television team. Titled the “Gate of Heaven,” it is about the ancient Macedonian ruler Alexander the Great and his attempt to enter the Garden of Eden. Master graciously translated the tale into English from “A Treasury of Jewish Folklore” compiled by Nguyễn Ước. Afterwards, She lovingly answered questions from team members, including one about the snake, which represents the negative power that tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Most Merciful Master, we cannot express how much Your guidance and Grace as well as the infinite Love that You shower upon on all beings daily mean to our world. We pray that humans now embrace only goodness and purity so that we may realize our true unconditional love and compassion within. May Master always enjoy safety and the best of health, in the protection of the Highest Heavens.
