This is what came to mind when reading this description. I know it said "carvings", but I had the vivid image of gigantic dragon statues (that might move occasionally) in my mind. What can I say except that artists can't help but re-model the world according to their whims...

I might do another version later on because I see a thousand things I would change (make the dragon less red and more stone-like, more creative column base, more ivy, etc.), but whatever. As of now, it is how it is.
