Ice Crystal

When Clark was exploring the fortress of solitude he found murals of a teenage boy on the ice walls. He frowned and followed the drawings to a room he had never visited.

That was odd, so he approached cautiously; it turned out, the room was empty beyond the drawings adorning the walls, which oddly looked like constellations. In the center was an ice table with a crystal glowing toxic green hovering over it.

At first, the Kryptonian thought it was Kryptonite but the crystal hadn't made him feel weak. In general, it didn't make him feel anything. He frowned and took the crystal in his hands, beyond causing him to feel cold nothing happened. He decided to put the crystal back where it was, determined to investigate it later.

Unbeknownst to Clark, a few minutes after he left the room the crystal began to flicker. A "Hello?" was heard around the room as a confused hologram flashed, Danny looked around the place with a frown before cutting the call.

Of course, Clark forgot about it rather quickly, and it wasn't until years later when Jon and Kon were exploring the place (clearly without telling Clark) that they found the strange room. Though contrary to Superman, they stayed and could hear the voice clearly.

I think I would like the bunker more as a concept if they were squatters rather than legacies, you know? Like the the like inherited secret society birthright thing doesn't do it for me but two crunchy regular dudes who find an abandoned secret society hide out and go Aw Shit Free House? THAT I'm into.

I feel like MC and Sebastian would be dumb enough to make a blood pact or take an Unbreakable Vow. Obviously, the nature of the oath would depend on the specific relationship they have but given how they tend to enable each other, if not downright follow the same path, I can just envision it.

boba with a lightsaber in "legacy of the force"

highlights:

the fact that the scene starts with boba noticing that jaina is looking at him with "real compassion" and being like, "nuh-uh. absolutely not. putting a stop to this right the fuck now."

the way jaina draws her lightsaber all carefully like she's trying not to trigger Man With Notorious Beef Against Jedi, and he just pulls his own lightsaber out of nowhere like, "oh yeah i have one of those too :^)"

(i need everyone to know that this encounter was prefaced by an extended scene of beviin and medrit fussing over boba's shitty durasteel armor and basically forbidding him from going to spar with jaina until he swapped it out for something more lightsaber-resistant. so, after all this build-up of, "you CANNOT afford to take risks with someone wielding a lightsaber, what, are you TRYING to end up like jango," the fact that boba just casually pulls out a lightsaber of his own is extra funny to me)

(everyone is being so mindful of the fett family's traumatic history with lightsabers and meanwhile boba is just like, "EXPOSURE THERAPY OR NOTHING, LET'S FUCKING GO")

boba holding the lightsaber "like a hammer." can't decide if he's holding it like that bc it's genuinely more comfortable for him or if he's intentionally playing up his inexperience to get jaina to lower her guard.

the way he stalks towards jaina while letting the tip of the lightsaber drag against the ground. that's so menacing and i love it.

all that build-up and once he's in actual striking distance he just deactivates the lightsaber and sucker-punches her in the stomach LMAO

Sebastian Sallow with a Muggle Significant Other Headcanons

Sheepish as he is to admit it, until he met them, Sebastian always felt rather bad for muggles and their lack of magic.

Being rather shocked initially when he realised that this captivating person who has caught his attention is, in fact, not a wizard/witch at all yet they're so bright and clever he is fascinated by them.

Scheming of ways to get around the statute of secrecy when they're first together because being limited from magic in front of them at first feels like torture.

And he wants to impress them and open them up to all these amazing things he knows.

But the more time he spends with them discussing mythology, history, art, and all manner of things challenging his mind in new ways, that need for magic lessens.

Seb, who realises it may not be the magic he craves but the intellectual stimulation from learning and debating.

Initially baffled by their muggle habits and how long everything takes.

Seb who realises how when his partner does something as simple as brewing a cup of tea for him it takes so much more effort, but he swears it makes it taste better.

Sebastian, whose love language is acts of service and wants to take care of the people he loves.

Starts doing things for them the muggle way and expressing that love in the labour of it a flick of a wand can't replicate.

Relishes how heavy their bags are when he insists on carrying them. How their skin puckers when they wash dishes together. How long the journey is when travelling by train and not by floo and all this time they get just to talk and be with eachother.

Experiencing life in a completely different rhythm, he always thought he'd find tedious, but doing it together makes even the mundane seem spectacular.

Sebastian who loves magic and continues to pour over spell books, but his partner opens his eyes to this whole vast world of topics he never knew anything about, and his mind is blown.

He's inhaling anything he can get his hands on science, technology, engineering, and muggles are achieving these incredible things without magic he's not even seen wizards accomplish.

21 year old Seb in 1896 reading a muggle newspaper his partner passes him one morning and finding out about X-rays and radium and he's nothing short of giddy.

Kissing his bemused partner spinning them around wildly because muggles are bloody brilliant and they are the most spectacular of the bunch.

Sebastian who starts using magic less and less at home because his partner makes it seem frivolous.

This has come from mine and Cran's very niche Henry Winters (the secret history) x Sebastian Sallow (Hogwarts Legacy) AU but I think a lot of the headcannons we've been gushing over work for Seb x Muggle!SO regardless.

I'd literally love to hear any other headcannons on this because we have been consumed and loving talking about these.

Secret Ancient Rune Message

Oh my god! Guys!!! I'm fluent in ancient runes now!!!

Basically, I noticed that in the Feldcroft catacomb there are several walls with some runic writings on them.

Sorry for the weird lighting, I used lumos to try to make the runes more readable. (Also you can notice that the first wall is actually upside-down 😂)

I had also found in the game files, this texture that had the same runes on it:

The runes on the texture image were much easier to read than the ones on the walls in Feldcroft catacomb so I used that as my Rosetta stone, if you will, in order to crack the code!

I wrote down all the different types of runes that I could see then I counted how frequently they appeared and, assuming that the secret message was written in english, I compared the frequency of the runes to the frequency of letters in the english language. (I also noticed other little characteristic, like letters that appear together often, letters that are repeated, etc.) Anyway! I was able to piece it all together and a message appeared!!

ONE WHO __ USED THEIR LIFE ON THE PURSUIT _ MASTERY OF ONE SPELL : TO SOME THIS BREEDS MADNESS TO OTHERS IT BRINGS A MEASURE OF PECULIAR ACCOMPLISHMENT . TO UNLOCK THE SECRET OF THIS PLACE ONE MUST FEARLESSLY STEP INTO THE DARKNESS WHERE THEY SUCCEED OR DIE_

I used "_" for the places where there are some runes I cannot read. The beginning of the message is hard to see. I'm not sure of the letters "MARD" for instance. There is also a strange symbol after 'used their life on the pursuit', a cross inside a diamond. I'm not sure what it means. It could be a punctuation.

But appart from that, here is how each rune translates as an english letter:

(Sorry, I had to handwrite this and then scan it. I don't have a fancy tablet to draw this digitally). I have not encountered the letters J, Q, V, X and Z so those are left empty.

Anyway, after that I went back to the runes on the walls of the Feldcroft Catacomb and from the runes that I could read I can tell that it's actually the same message, repeated over and over on the walls.

The secret message is probably about the relic. It says you must master one spell in order to use the relic and it warns anyone that Dark Magic like that can make you mad or lead you to your death.

But beyond that I feel so vindicated that the runes actually mean something! Like, guys, I'm not crazy!! The devs have hidden some secret messages in the game!
