Ranking All The Star Wars Video Games I've Played!
I am going to do a quick ranking thing here where I rank all of the Star Wars videos games that I have played. I am going to be ranking from nine to one, nine being the least liked and one being the most liked.
#9: LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. This one isn't truly bad or terrible because none of the games on this fall into that. This one is just more of a neutral thing. It does a good job retelling some of the Clone Wars show. There were some levels I didn't care for but it's really not a bad game at all.
#8: Star Wars: The Old Republic. Yes, I have spent a lot of time on this particular one and yeah, that is why it's on the low end of the list. Again, not really a bad game here. However, there's just so much you can't do without being a subscriber to the game. Plus, I find that the combat is just really, really boring. It does have a lot of good though, mostly in the way of it's really good storytelling and unique stories for each class you can play. Not bad but could be better.
#7: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Force Unleashed II has a lot of good going for it. But, one major downfall is just how short the game is compared to the first one. Plus, the ending fight against Vader is really annoying. But, the rest of the game is really good and really fun in my opinion.
#6: LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The only Star Wars movie to get its own LEGO game for some reason...okay. There's a lot of good here honestly as a lot of the shooting combat was refined in this game which did get implemented into The Skywalker Saga so, there is that. However, the game overall is incredibly short, even with the extra levels and yeah. Not a bad game though.
#5: Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017). Now, look, I know that when it released there was a ton of issues and I know all the controversaries this game brought to the world of loot boxes in video games and all of that. However, I played this one far after launch and I honestly have had a good time. It's got a pretty decent single player campaign, it's got the arcade mode where you can play bot multiplayer matches and the actual multiplayer matches can be fun too if you don't get hackers in the lobby to ruin everyone's fun.
#4: Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005). Now, this is a really good game through and through. However, there's one mission in the campaign that I could never get through and I hate that. The thing for me is that it doesn't feel all that different from the first game, aside from the campaign actually telling a story this time around. Doesn't make it a bad game but it just kind of makes it more of the same to me.
#3: Star Wars: Battlefront (2004). I can't deny that this is indeed a good game. I do wish though that the so called campaign told an actual story rather than just basically being bot multiplayer matches but, I suppose it's alright. But, I honestly found a lot more fun playing this game over its sequel but that's just me.
#2: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Now, this one is a little bit nostalgic for me. It was the first video game that I ever pre-ordered and that was a PS2 copy of the game that also came with a four inch Clone Trooper Commander figure, which I still have and I have the Black Series Gaming Greats version of it too. The game is honestly so, so good and the story it tells is so good too. Just a really good and fun game.
#1: LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. This one also has a bit of nostalgia for me. I don't the exact year but I remember it was Christmas and I opened my first ever Nintendo DS Lite and then I opened this very game. My brother got it too so we could play the game together. Of course, all these years later I own the PC version and it's still an amazing and super fun game to play. Pretty sure most people who game has played this game, it's that good.
I think LEGO STAR WARS the Complete Saga was too much disrespectuf of LEGO STAR WARS 1 and too much inclined to LEGO STAR WARS II
they erased all the green laser blasters and turned them all red, they erased Jar Jar Binks' and others' extra high jump when not in LEGO STAR WARS 1 levels
and the biggest offence of them all: they just got rid of LEGO STAR WARS 1 Yoda, they straight up deleted the best, coolest and most unique character and kept only the dope annoying LEGO STAR WARS II Yoda
Also I miss Dexter's Dinner
sure they introduced new playable prequel characters rhat missed in LEGO STAR WARS 1 but
The Complete Saga can replace the II but it does not replace the 1, it completely fails to replicate the experience of playing the first game
Remember how when you were a kid you would re-imagine every franchise you were into as a tie in Lego Video Game? And I don't mean the modern Lego Games where characters can talk, I mean the old ones where characters just mime out the plot with grunts and grumbles being the only spoken dialogue? Do that for Homestuck. Now.
To honor May the 4th, here are various screenshots I took with Print Screen while playing LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
I feel like I was late to discover the game, but I enjoyed it nonetheless when I was younger. I have a physical disc for the PC version, which took longer to release than the console versions. It’s part of something called “Games for Windows” and has the Windows Vista logo, though it can run on that or Windows XP SP 2. It still works on Windows 10 so long as you have a drive that can read it (my computer doesn’t have an internal one, but I do have an external Blu-ray burner that I use to play PC games I have on DVD-ROMs and CD-ROMs.).
In the top one, I have Boba Fett and a MagnaGuard (just called Grievous Bodyguard), which are like Jango Fett and Grievous himself, respectively, just with less end lag after attacks.
In the next one down, I threw Jar Jar and Revenge of the Sith Anakin into the pit in the Bounty Hunter Mission area, which thankfully doesn’t cost any studs. In my opinion, in TT Games’ LEGO video games following the formula they invented for LEGO Star Wars, death pits are the worst way to die because you can’t possibly get your studs back.
The next one down showcases an issue with my installation that’s probably due to the disc not being in the best of condition. The issue is Grievous T-posing and sliding.
The next one down after that is an army following Obi-Wan as a Force ghost. I joked that it was my army, but it really wasn’t.
Finally, I have a screenshot of two of three astromech droids in the game (R2-D2 and R4-P17) and Jango Fett and Boba Fett.
Everytime you go download anything related to LEGO STAR WARS 1 the websites always have LEGO STAR WARS The Complete Saga screenshots in the LEGO STSR WARS 1 screenshots section
From the early days of Lego Island to creator and racers it seemed like building things doesn’t have to be limited to physical play.
But everything changed in 2005 with the launch of the first licensed video game.
What Lego Star Wars did with making the movies into fun means of exploration, stud collecting and laughing at antics of mini figs was amazing.
And we had all sorts since than.
But this year they actually outdid themselves with the biggest Lego game ever produced.
The galaxy of Star Wars becomes bigger than ever with the ability to take Phantom Menace characters, and put them in planets from the sequel trilogy, all sorts of combos can be made from this.
With dialogue uniquely suited for certain ones. And especially coming from The Voice cast of the clone wars.
TT Games gave us one of their best works with this and makes you wonder what else could be given this treatment.
A certain boy wizard, or 2 comic universes?
SUM 22: Nominee 3 for game of the year brings all 9 Skywalker movies into Legos most extensive game ever.
Was not expecting a Lego Star Wars game to be on Gamepass. Any tips for it?
Yeah, it's a new thing apparently! It's a great game just don't buy the Galactic Edition. It's a Galactic Waste of money unless you want ALL DLC characters regardless of how empty some of the characters feel as they're missing voice lines and character interactions or some have reused animations.
Other than that playing the game sometimes gives me nausea because the frames are too smooth. So, I have to play for like an hour at a time. But I haven't seen anybody talk about this so it might just be a me thing!
I also feel the game should have more level content like the Clone Wars in the future since it's called The Skywalker Saga which includes Clone Wars, Rebels, Mandalorian, etc. though it's unlikely to happen.
But the game is complete with 5 levels per movie with a total of 9 Movies. And a massive open world for collectables though some worlds aren't available after you play through them like Jabiim.
Overall it's a really fun game and a true spiritual successor to LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
