Lord Vortech was originally planned to be a playable character in Year 3 had it not been cancelled. In fact, Gary Oldman (the voice of the character) even recorded some dialogue for how he would interact with certain characters.
As far as what abilities he would've had, and what his dimension would've been like, that would be up to your imagination.

Lord Vortech from Lego Dimensions has been caught in the Trolley Problem!
Tumblr media
Barreling down the tracks is a runaway trolley. The trolley is heading directly for five random people who are tied to the track. On an adjacent track is Lord Vortech. As a bystander you have the following options:
Flicking the lever, diverting the trolley onto the second track killing Lord Vortech
Doing nothing, causing the trolley to kill the five random people

It just occurred to me LEGO had "thee" Gary Oldman voice one of their characters for the story. and then have him voice playable dialogue only not to use it...
What is LEGO smoking anyway? Seriously they are sh!t for brains with their flops.

what if the WyldTech ship was more one sided (like the Mad hatter and Alice dynamic in Batman the Animated Series)
like Lord Vortech adores Wyldstyle but she wants NOTHING to do with him

Sorry for not posting anything as of late. I've been thinking of what I could post on here that I haven't already, but recently I've been thinking about my past on this site, most notably prior to making my account.
When I first found Tumblr, I mainly just scoured whatever blogs I thought were neat and asking whenever I could as an anonymous greyface. I did try to make a Tumblr blog once before (specifically an ask blog for Lego Dimensions' Lord Vortech), but it never went anywhere, and I mainly just stayed as a regular old anon.
However, when I saw instances of people role-playing and holding conversations while asking anonymously, I got interested in doing the same, and so I started to do so with any blog I thought I could spice up.
Most of the times I remember doing it, I would try to instigate interactions between fandoms to an annoying degree. I even remember the time I pretended to be a Peridot blog via an anonymous ask to provoke an interaction with an Eggman blog. (BTW, it didn't go anywhere.)
However, the way I did this that most sticks out in my mind is when I tried to use this character I created named Eriphram. In my head, he was a shadowy humanoid with bright red eyes wearing a maroon, face-obscuring cloak, with a lime-green runic symbol resembling an ahnk on his chest. He was supposed to be my interpretation of the ultimate evil conquerer despite his otherwise generic warlock appearance.
I also made a good brother counterpart for him named Arnon so I could do "big good" moments, giving him a navy blue cloak and a yellow-and-white body made of light with blue eyes and no runic symbol. I don't remember using him as actively, but I annoyed people using him alongside Eriphram.
The blog I most remember annoying with these guys was @thehouseofivo, a multimuse blog that focuses primarily on an alternate version of Ivo Robotnik as based on the Archie comics who, after nearly destroying the world, has tried to rebuild it himself to make amends.
Being as I wasn't really educated on the lore of the blog at the time, I used Eriphram to try and stoke his evil tendencies for reasons I don't even remember. I also used Arnon a bit when I realized that he wouldn't budge, but that ended up annoying him too. I remember this one time Ivo was injured and bedridden because of something, and being the young egotist that I was, decided to have Arnon show up to offer him a deus-ex-machina to get him back to full health. He didn't take it, and I think I egged him on about it through Arnon, being nothing but cringe that day.
But what I also remember doing with this blog in particular was when I tried to insert MYSELF into the narrative for a time, whether it was as an employee at Ivo's company, or as self-inserts in mini-AUs that I sometimes feel responsible for bringing into the world, like his BioShock one.
It's been many years since I stopped pulling this kinda stuff, but I still think about it from time to time due to how cringe-inducing it was. I've also thought about using Eriphram and Arnon in more constructive, maybe self-aware ways since then, though I am somewhat reluctant to do so because of my history of using them. I'm sorry to those I've bothered with my antics. I know it may be years late, but I hope you can forgive me.

Fun Fact: the acne is actually a bunch of stars.
https://lego-dimensions-customs.fandom.com/wiki/Lord_Vortech_(CJDM1999)
Honey Comb: … Still should get some acne cream.
Koopa: Having dealt with acne for years, I agree.
Lord Vortech: You are all so mean!

Into, Across and Beyond! Cast: LEGO Sonic
Replaces: LEGO Spider-Man Origin: LEGO Dimensions / His own LEGO sets
Tumblr media
"I told you; I'm really, really, REALLY fast!"
Amongst things, of course LEGO was going to get covered here. The blue blur's literally got his own sets based around it!
LEGO Sonic inhabits his own world within Dimension LEGO-2016, and enjoys going on his own adventures to stop Dr. Eggman and defend his world. In fact, he's pretty much the closest you guys are getting to seeing a Sonic in IAB! that's closest to the original blue blur.
One particular scenario, however, set off LEGO Sonic's knowledge of the vast multiverse and the things that came with it. One day, LEGO Eggman got his hands on one of Lord Vortech's Keystone Devices to try and take over all the dimensions present. Naturally, Sonic outwitted his "Hostage for McGuffin" tactic, rescuing all his friends... save for Amy, who seemed to disappear off.
The device malfunctioned and sucked in a lot of stuff, including most of the gang, which prompted Sonic and Tails to scout the portals and gather the Chaos Emeralds to stop Eggman's plans. After enough searching (and a brief sighting of the three warriors bound to stop Vortech), he got the crew safely gathered, and set off for the Death Egg, where the doctor was holding the last Chaos Emerald.
Trouble arose when Chaos, who popped out of one of the portals, arrived, after the Chaos Emerald himself. During the scuffle, he ended up absorbing the keystone device and becoming more powerful as a result. However, thanks to Amy stealing the final Chaos Emerald from Eggman, Sonic got the upper-hand and blew up the God of Destruction, stealing the device back from him and saving Amy by warping her through one of the portals.
As the days went on, Sonic utilised the device to visit other LEGO realms outside his own, contributing to the upkeep of each of them in his own ways. Eventually, he was able to make his way to our world, where he learned about all of our sets, and wanted to have his own for us to play with. So he launched the titular advertising campaign to help with the job.
Unfortunately, LEGO Eggman found out about this, and wasn't too happy that he didn't get any say in the initial advert. So he staged a full-blown takeover scheme; he captured LEGO's top designer, Carl, and used a mind-control device to make quick control over the LEGO HQ. Of course, his evil acts varied from giving people eggs without anything to go with them, or trying to make a 15-foot LEGO Eggman statue in a short timeframe.
Luckily, LEGO Sonic knew what was going on, getting a fellow LEGO staff member to help beat the doctor at his own game, rounding up a group of kids along the way to help ready the sets for ending the doctor's nefarious rule. And with a well-aimed shot, Sonic knocked Eggman off of Carl's head, the guy confused about why he smells like eggs.
LEGO Sonic eventually came across the Quill Society, and in turn, many other versions of himself from other realities. When EV!Sonic came across him, he was recruited as a highly-trusted member of the Quill Society, and was one of those on look-out for when Crimtake was crossing dimensions in Many More Heroes.
Considering this, LEGO Sonic, despite being very small in our world, is around the same size as other Sonics outside of our world and the LEGO universe, and the whole thing about canon slipped over his head, since an adventure's simply an adventure to him, whether it's "canon" or not. Classic Sonic, eh?
