what's your opinion on the integration of the ufbl and mbl? some are saying that the mobians have an unfair advantage when batting due to being shorter and having a better angle on the ball, and that the humans have an advantage by being able to sprint faster.
do you think this will negatively affect professional baseball overall? or is integration of the species good for the popularity of the sport?
This is very bad for baseball. I was pretty surprised to read about the integration going through, but then again the UFBL loves shooting itself in the foot so I don't know why I expected any different.
Let's be real: no one watches the MBL because it's good baseball. Their fields are poorly maintained and they have no age restrictions on players or umpires. We all remember that time a six year-old umpire cried when a coach yelled at him for making a bad call. It's gruesome to watch sometimes. But people still tune in. Why?
The MBL allows chaos-affected individuals to play. Have you ever seen a mouse with super strength hit the ball so hard it landed 10km away? It's fucking awesome. Most of their games are absolute chaos. Nothing is more entertaining than watching them try to overpower each other with stacked teams.
Now, this merger is banning Mobian players from using their powers during the game. The only reason to watch the MBL is being taken away. On average, Mobians tend to be a bit weaker than humans. As you said, they're shorter and tend to be a bit slower on their feet. I don't know how they're supposed to compete without their powers. The leagues seem to have realized this and will be mandating species diversity quotas so the teams are always at least 14% Mobian. A significant portion of pro baseball will now be weaker because of league mandates. It's incredibly stupid.
What is this supposed to accomplish? None of those stupid furries have money anyways so it's not like they're going to be spending on merchandise. Is it supposed to teach their kids that they can accomplish anything regardless of their background? Yeah, okay, I'm sure watching people who look like them get their asses kicked on national TV will boost their confidence. Like, what were they thinking going through with this?
I'm sure they'll realize their mistake by the end of the season. Unfortunately, our politically correct society will never let them revert their decisions. All these moronic liberals and leftists will never understand that true egalitarianism is best achieved when we segregate leisure activities based on perceived biological differences. Next you're going to tell me that they want to integrate the chess leagues, too. Give me a break.

The Paramount Network, in partnership with Shawn Carter (aka Jay-Z) and Black Entertainment Television, is giving us a six-part documentary series exploring Trayvon Martin’s death at the hands of George Zimmerman. It cites the instance as the birth of the Movement For Black Lives and chronicles the most recent and inflammatory race divide in the US. If the series is documenting the birth of the MBL alongside the Zimmerman trial, I am curious about who is telling the story and what the goal might be at such a volatile time in the nation.
The trailer opens with a worried 911 call from Trayvon’s father, Tracy. The trailer goes from zero to lightspeed showing emotional imagery coupled with blistering bars from Black Thought of The Legendary Roots Crew.
From photos of the crime scene to the audio of Zimmerman’s 911 call as he stalked Trayvon home. Voiceovers from Black Lives activists, NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony, and testimony from Trayvon’s own mother, Sybrina Fulton.
The trailer pulls no punches and paints a very clear picture for its audience. It also leaves a glaring question on the mind of the viewer: If this clear-cut trial yielded no justice under Obama, where is it to be found in our divided country, under its present administration?

Entertaining the idea of two roads I would like to go down with my hair.
Texlax vs sisterlocing/mini interlocking
I've already started down the texlaxing road. I'm married to the idea for another 6 months - year. Within that time frame I will reassess my hair goals.
I decided to use a lye relaxer for my texlaxing because I actually find no lye super harsh on my hair, even if I use a chelating shampoo to remove mineral deposits. My hair feels soft and smooth with the lye and I didn't experience any burning as the point is to not fully process the texture out of my 4c hair, just permanently add a bit of stretch- something similar to the look of a tension blowdry.
I plan to texlax every 3-4 months. I still have to utilize protective styling to look decent while I gain length.
My hair is pretty short right now, too short to style on it's own, but long enough to grip and add braiding hair without tugging and slippage. As my hair gets longer, hopefully I'm able to reduce single strand knots and split ends, retain length, and wear styles I was having issues executing previously.
I know I have to stay up on my protein treatments when using chemicals and be mindful not to braid too soon after a chemical service.
If I'm not achieving certain hair goals through texlaxing. I want to do my own minilocs using the interlocking method. I had medium sized locs for 4 years that I would retwist. But I'm loving the idea of having mini locs that are maintained with a different method.
Either way, ya girl just wants to get to MBL.
Although I look amazing with a tapered fade I'm tired of having short hair and having issues getting to full SL.
Never thought that I would ever make a return to using a relaxer/texturizer. But hey, here we are.

The effects of the Coronavirus is being felt in every industry. The sports industry is no different, but that has not stopped lawsuits involving LeBon James, Jimmy Butler, and Lamar Jackson. Roughly two weeks ago the NBA suspended their season after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for the Coronavirus. Soon after, his teammate Donavan Mitchell tested positive. Both players have recently been cleared of the Coronavirus. However, the continued reality of the threat of the Coronavirus led the MBL, NHL, and MLS to suspend their seasons as well. The NCAA was forced to cancel all spring sports and the March Madness tournament. Most recently, Japan and the International Olympic Committee agreed to postpone the 2020 Summer Games to 2021.
Accordingly, sports fans are relying on the rebroadcasts of classic games for entertainment. Even though the entertainment portion of the sports has come to an unexpected halt, the business of sports keeps turning. This is especially true in the realm of sports law. In the last week, three lawsuits involving some of sports favorite athletes came to light. Two cases involve two of the NBA’s most notable players, LeBron James and Jimmy Butler. The third case involves the 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player of the Year, Lamar Jackson.

During LeBron James’ 17-year career, he has been the focal point of some pretty iconic NBA photos. There are photos of James blocking Andre Iguodala’s shot in game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. There is the iconic photo of Dwayne Wade and King James on the Miami Heat when James lays down a monster slam dunk. Before the NBA season was abruptly halted by the Coronavirus, King James was caught in yet another timeless photo. On December 19, 2019 photographer, Steven Mitchell was working the Lakers versus Heat game. Mitchell caught an awesome moment of King James dunking over Meyers Leonard.
Soon after the game, the photo was cropped and posted to James’s Facebook account. The post, which is still up has received over one thousand likes, has been shared 92 times, and has 61 comments. The picture was also posted on James’ Instagram Account. There it received over 2 million likes. To many, this may not seem like a big deal. What could be wrong with James posting a picture of himself? The answer is that it could be a copyright law violation. Accordingly, the photographer, Steven Mitchell, sued LeBron James alleging that posting the photo onto James’ social media platforms infringed on his copyright law protections.

Does James’ Post Violate Mitchell’s Rights in the Photo Under Copyright Law?
Copyright is an intellectual property right grounded in the United States Constitution. Authors are granted copyright protection for their original works of authorship that are fixed in a tangible medium of expression. Copyright protection applies to photos. As such, Mitchell sued LeBron James, Uninterrupted Digital Ventures, and LRMR Ventures for copyright infringement. Mithcell alleges that James and the other defendants infringed on his copyright in the photo when it was cropped and posted on James’s Facebook and Instagram pages without Mitchell’s consent. The complaint asserts that Uninterrupted Digital Ventures and LRMR Ventures operate James’ Facebook page. Mitchell requests a jury trial to determine whether the federal Copyright Act was violated. He also seeks damages up to $150,000 per infringement.
Independent Sports and Entertainment Says Jimmy Butler Needs to Pay Up
Independent Sports and Entertainment (ISE) is telling Miami Heat star, Jimmy Butler, to “show them the money.” ISE has sued Jimmy Butler for breaching a Public Relations Agreement (PR Agreement) he entered into with them in July of 2013. ISE is an integrated sport, media, entertainment, and management company that represents talent throughout the entertainment industry. ISE assists professional athletes’ with their off the field and off the court activities. In the complaint, ISE alleges that Jimmy Butler breached their PR Agreement by failing to give them their share of profits from two deals Butler made with Nike.
Per the PR Agreement, Butler is required to pay ISE a 15% gross compensation fee in exchange for ISE’s services assisting with his personal marketing and public relations. ISE alleges that while Butler was under the PR Agreement, he entered into a contract with Nike where he earned $616,666,67. ISE has not received its 15 percent commission in the amount of $92,250. Butler later entered into an addendum on the contract. On the addendum, Butler received at least 5 million dollars. ISE has not received its 15% commission in the amount of $750,000 on the addendum.
In the complaint, ISE stipulates that the non-breaching party must provide notice of the breach to the breaching party and allow the breaching party 30 days to cure the breach. ISE alleges that they provided written notice to Butler and made attempts to collect the amounts due. Furthermore, ISE alleges that they were put in contact with Butler’s financial advisor Ken Kavanaugh who acknowledged that Butler owed the 15% fee and that payment would follow. The payment never came leading ISE to file this suit. Per the complaint, ISE is seeking damages for the amounts owed on the Nike contract and addendum.
Lamar Jackson Tells Amazon to Stop Selling his Unauthorized Merchandise
Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback, Lamar Jackson, filed suit against Amazon.com and Amazon.com Services, Inc. (hereafter collectively referred to as Amazon) in a federal district court for infringing on his right to publicity. In the complaint, Jackson alleges that Amazon has directly advertised and sold items bearing Jackson’s name, nicknames, and images without being authorized to do so by him or the NFL. The alleged infringing items include items such as a “LAMARVELOUS Vintage Baltimore Football QB Jackson MVP T-Shirt.” In the complaint, Jackson acknowledges that Amazon had received negative publicity for facilitating the sale of items that infringe on others’ intellectual property rights by third parties in the Amazon Marketplace. However, Jackson contends that the sale of his items is different in that the sale of his items are not in the Amazon marketplace.
Jackson contends that the infringing items at issue are directly falsely promoted and advertised by Amazon as they are designated as “ships from and sold by Amazon.com.” Jackson claims to have requested that Amazon remove and stop selling the items in question. However, Amazon has failed to so. As such, Jackson seeks a permanent injunction requiring Amazon to stop the sale of the items in question. Jackson alleges that the unauthorized sale of items bearing his name, image, and likeness on Amazon has negatively affected his own clothing line business. Accordingly, Jackson also seeks damages and disgorgement of Amazon’s profits.

Our parents said it to us to keep us engaged so we didn’t bother them all the time and didn’t do any crazy shit, didn’t get into trouble and therefore stayed alive and healthy.
Some of us are still not in on the joke and think that doing this course or that course will change our lives.
Some think that attaching the name of a famous university or organisation (like MBL from NLSIU, some expensive HarvardX course or obscenely expensive IIM management development program certificate) will make them succeed.
Well, here is breaking news for you. It doesn’t make a difference. No courses, no certificates, no workshop is going to make your life. Including LawSikho courses.
Only thing that works if you want to succeed is you being able to generate value for others.
Are you good enough to do that?
Don’t do any course for a tag. Or to write a line in your CV. It’s a very lowly pursuit and life is too short for wasting your time like that.
The only consideration is this: what’s your goal? How are you going to get there? What’s the skill you need? What can you add to what you already have so that you can serve your clients (or employers) better? How can you increase the standard and quality of your work? How can you be the best in your field?
At LawSikho, we made the mistake once. We thought we need universities to certify our courses. And they messed around with our ability and ambition to deliver the best law courses in the world.

#PHinfo: Ifugao adopts national IATF guidelines
LAGAWE, Ifugao, Feb. 5 (PIA) - - Governor Jerry Dalipog has issued Executive Order No. 03 series of 2021 adopting the Inter-agency Task Force guidelines under the new general community quarantine (GCQ) from February 1 to 28.
“A continuous practice of these guidelines in accordance with all orders released during the period of GCQ is imperative and vital for the preservation of our community’s health, safety and welfare,” Dalipog stated.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) are empowered to ensure that the implementation of these guidelines is carried with utmost consideration for the order, safety and security of all persons involve.
Under the guidelines, all person within the province must wear face masks/face shield at all times and strictly observe physical distancing whenever outside of their residences. Any person below 15 years old, those who are 65 years old and above, those with immunodeficiency and pregnant women shall be required to remain in their residences at all times.
The movement of all person shall be limited to accessing essential goods and services and for work in the office or industries permitted to operate hereunder. Provided that movement for leisure purposes shall not be allowed.
Work in the government offices may still be at full operational capacity or under such alternative arrangement, in accordance with the Civil Service Commission rules and regulations. Other office requiring employees to report physically may be provided transport services.
Public and private construction projects will be allowed but with strict compliance to the construction safety guideline issued by the Department of Public Works and Highways for the implementation of infrastructure projects during the COVID-29 pandemic.
Face-to-face classes shall be suspended. For higher education, the recommendation of the Commission on Higher Education shall be adopted. For technical vocational education and training of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), training and assessments maybe conducted subject to public health guidelines.
All permitted establishments and activities shall be allowed to operate or be undertaken at full operational capacity adhering to the health protocols and other guidelines. Mass gatherings such as but not limited to concerts, sporting event, other entertainment activities, community assemblies and non-essential work gatherings shall be prohibited.
Gatherings that are for the provision of critical government services and authorized humanitarian activities while adhering to the prescribed minimum health standards shall be allowed while religious gatherings are up to 30% of the seating capacity.
Outdoor non-contact sports and other forms of exercise such as but limited to walking, running, biking, golf, swimming, tennis, badminton, equestrian, range shooting are allowed provided, the minimum public health standards are observed. Provided further that operations of the relevant clubhouses or similar establishments, if any shall be limited to basic operations and restaurants and cafes therein are allowed to operate at 30% venue capacity following social distancing protocols and that such establishments are compliant with proper protocols prescribed by the Department of Trade and Industry.
Sectors of public transportation shall be allowed to operate at such capacity and protocols in accordance with guidelines issued by the Department of Transportation.
Movements of all types of cargo, trucking and courier delivery of food, essential goods, basic commodities, agriculture inputs and products shall remain unhampered provided only a maximum of five personnel shall operate the cargo, trucks and delivery vehicles. Movements of identified authorized persons outside their residences shall be permitted.
Dalipog directed the provincial information office, police provincial office, all members of the Provincial COVID-19 Task Force, municipal mayors, punong barangays and all other concerned to cause the widest dissemination of the order, (JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
