World map for Challenger Deep!! Top version is the regular map with some depth topography, and the bottom map is more old timey inspired, including some familiar faces scribbled onto it as a warning
The whole vibe of this thing is partly inspired by the map from IOW, as well as the map on Sea of Thieves x) I wanted for this to feel like a whole world that has so much still left to explore and uncover, even by me (And I made it)
The world is mostly ocean so most of the fun is underwater anyways. Something to note as well is that the ice caps are not true land, they are mostly permafrost :] but I chose to draw them like this since this is the minimum size the caps can reach, but their shape and size varies wildly from season to season
Oh and, this was all hand-drawn!

Title:the podcaster and the cannibal (rough draft)
Premise: Miriam is a true crime podcaster she been trying to solve the ripper case for awhile, always seeming a step closer to, always seeming like she gonna solve it, but when she gets a little to close to it…a surprising fan happens to come in the way of her getting closer to solving it.
Relationships: Clarice Starling/Ardelia Mapp, Hannibal Lecter/Will Graham
Song: https://open.spotify.com/track/1Jmqubf9kGkWeYQXQKImL5?si=kwP_JQ91SAC9OUvw62MAEA
(Editor note: this is a rough draft idea i have and I wanna see what you guys think about it first, i kinda wanna make it kinda like a 90’s or early 2000’s horror movie but a bit different. Also thank you to @k1ngl30n for editing this for me i really appreciate it hope you guys enjoy)
(What i believe college age Miriam would look like in this)
Tumblr media
The podcaster and the Cannibal.
How did she end up here? Why was she here? It was dark, quiet…too quiet. And she hated the quiet. She needed noise, something, anything to fill the silence in her head.
But the worst part was easily that she couldn’t feel one of her arms.
*One year earlier*
Miriam woke at the sound of her alarm, groaning and not wanting to be up so early, but she knew she had to be up for class soon – not to mention that she had an episode of her podcast to record today. Miriam was honestly kind of excited for today's episode: it was a case that was big in her hometown, and, well, the entire state she lived in.
The Chesapeake Ripper case…she’d learnt about it in her first year of college, but she’d first heard about it when she was growing up. The adults of Miriam’s hometown always told the kids to behave or the Ripper would come after them…but it was actually the other way around. The Ripper only killed adults, never children, and at some point the kids caught on and stopped believing the “fairy tale” that the adults told.
“Mir; you up? An hour before class starts..?” called Clarice, one of her roommates, knocking on her door.
She sighed. “Yeah, I’m up!” Miriam yelled, before getting out of bed and running to get dressed.
“I’ll be home early after class today, so don’t worry about dinner tonight,” Miriam said to Clarice and their other roommate Ardeila, who was Clarice's long time friend and now girlfriend. They both nodded as Clarice handed Miriam a cup of coffee. She looked a little stressed from what Miriam could tell, but before she could ask what was wrong, Clarice spoke up:
“Ardelia and I were talking about moving into a different room,” Clarice said. Miriam stopped lifting her cup to her lips, putting it back down instead.
“As in – you two are moving out?” Clarice nodded at that. Miriam knew she wasn’t the easiest person to live with, and she could be a little bossy at times, but she had tried – and now she was going to have to find new roommates, or a single room, which was a much greater deal than she’d thought she’d have to think about that morning. “Ok… when?” she asked. This time, Ardelia was the one who spoke.
“In two weeks’ time. We found a place and thought you should know before it’s final.” Miriam nodded – finding new roommates or moving would suck, honestly – she didn’t really have many other friends and she didn’t exactly like living alone…
…Especially with the paranoia from all the cases she researched and talked about. Miriam had left shortly after with a quick goodbye, wondering what she was going to do. All through her classes, she couldn’t stop thinking what would happen after Clarice and Ardeila moved out.
Although, after school, Miriam headed back to her apartment with the only thought in her head being her weekly podcast episode. At some point through the day, it replaced the alarming thought of her friends moving out.
“Hey all – welcome back to Sinister! I’m your host, Miriam Lass, and welcome to part four of the Ripper of Washington! If you’re new here on Sinister, we talk about the world’s sickest serial killers; if you missed the last three episodes, I would suggest going back and listening before finishing this one. I’d also suggest catching up on the Chesapeake Ripper case series. The script is looking like a 10 part series so far – so welcome, or welcome back; on today’s episode, we will be talking about more victims and getting more into the profile of the Ripper, as well as my own profile on the Ripper. So – enjoy!” Miriam said, before beginning to read what she found on the case.
Unbeknownst to her, a special guest had been listening to her podcast the entire time. The Ripper loved hearing the thoughts people had about himself, especially Miriam’s, as she was smart. Her profile on him was closer than the FBI’s, and it impressed him to no end – but, of course, no one could impress him more than his dear husband, Will Graham. No one was as smart as Will either, which would be why Hannibal found him to be the perfect soulmate and partner. Will understood him to the point that they were like water; blurred together.
Hannibal listened intently. He took in every piece of information Miriam had and he was frankly impressed at how well she knew him, how perfect her profile was and how…cocky she seemed. It was like she knew everything about him – but she didn’t, and Hannibal didn’t like how close she was to the truth. He would have to fix that.

(Osho) art _by_parable_ ********************* We are all taught to escape from themselves to find a place in the world, while the researcher escapes into himself to find the source of life. We are all taught to be educated, we are taught the names of flowers, trees, but not how to communicate with them, not to enter into harmony with existence. Life is a mystery not accessible to those who always want to analyze and select. Instead, it is a mystery accessible to the innocent, who are willing to fall in love with her, and dance with her.
If you live in unawareness, life is a difficult experience, an agony. If you live in awareness, life is an opportunity, a wonderful adventure to be experienced moment by moment in a territory without maps. What are these green trees for? what is the use of a bird's song, what is the sunrise for, what's the point of a starry night? What is the purpose of all this? Nobody This is why life is so beautiful! (Osho) art _by_parable_

An obscure case
An Anwar and Zamádis crime novel
Written by @arasanwar & @phasmophobie

Tumblr media
Also doch kein Kunde.
Was suchte er da eigentlich? “Was suchen Sie in dem Bild?

VB-MAPP App: Streamline Assessment & Boost Efficiency
Tumblr media
In today's fast-paced world, efficiency is key, especially in the field of early childhood education and intervention. The VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program) is a widely used tool for assessing and planning interventions for children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other special needs. However, manually administering and scoring the VB-MAPP can be a time-consuming and tedious process.
Fortunately, the VB-MAPP app has emerged as a game-changer, offering a digital solution to streamline the assessment and intervention process. This article will explore how the VB-MAPP app can help you maximize efficiency and achieve better outcomes for the children you serve.
Benefits of the VB-MAPP App:
Reduced Time Commitment: The app automates many of the time-consuming tasks associated with the traditional paper-based VB-MAPP, such as scoring and data entry. This frees up valuable time for professionals to focus on what matters most – interacting with children and providing individualized support.

Streamlining the Assessment Process:
The VB-MAPP app provides a user-friendly interface that guides professionals through the assessment process step-by-step. Features include:
Preloaded assessment items: The app comes preloaded with all VB-MAPP items, eliminating the need for manual entry and saving preparation time.
Interactive prompts and scoring tools: The app provides clear instructions and scoring guidelines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in assessment administration.
Real-time data visualization: The app displays data in real-time, allowing professionals to immediately identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas needing further assessment.
Enhancing Intervention Planning and Implementation:
The VB-MAPP app offers valuable tools for developing and implementing effective interventions based on individual needs:
Personalized goal setting: The app helps professionals set individualized goals based on each child's specific skill levels and developmental needs.
Data-driven intervention strategies: The app provides access to evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to address identified areas of need.

The beautiful world of Lynne Drexler.
Lynne Mapp Drexler (1928–1999) was an American abstract and representational artist, painter and photographer.
"She would often go to opera and symphony performances with a sketchpad and coloured crayons in hand to make sketches inspired by the music. Drexler's Pattern and Decoration embroidery and patchwork influenced some of her later works, similar designs often appeared in her painting's backgrounds."
She began painting as a child. Later, Drexler took art classes in Virginia at the Richmond Professional Institute and at the College of William & Mary.
She moved to New York City in the mid to late 1950s to further her study art under Robert Motherwell at Hunter College and Hans Hofmann, under their tutelage she developed an interest in Abstract Expressionism. Motherwell taught her composition and draftsmanship techniques and the philosophy "that to be an artist meant first and foremost that one had to create work worthy of attention". Her tendency to create vibrant paintings using a free brush stroke was influenced by Hofman and the work of Henri Matisse. Hofman also introduced the notion that composition is influenced by color, which he called the "push-pull" concept. (wiki)

The Benson brothers in 1907. From left to right: Arthur Christopher "A. C.", Robert Hugh and Edward Frederic "E. F." (or Fred).
All the three brothers were writers. Arthur wrote the lyrics of the English patriotic song "Land of Hope and Glory", Hugh wrote the notorious Catholic novel Lord of the World and Fred wrote the popular series Mapp and Lucia and David Blaize. The Bensons authored multiple ghost stories as well.
All the three also had homosexual inclinations. In Fred's case, this often served as inspiration for a number of his novels. None of them married or had any children.
