There were a lot of Japanese films featuring Koji Yakusho at the front seat of the car, and Wenders' "Perfect Days" doesn't even rank in the top ten in my mind.

This movie made me wanna cry in the same way I’ve felt since I was a 14 year old girl, if I’d watched it then as I’d planned to it would have definitely destroyed my heart and been a favourite. Despite being more jaded and older, it still struck the exact same chord within me and... literally beautiful, life-affirming, restores faith in small fragments of humanity... I always wanted a female friend to be lost with as a teen and obviously will be mourning tht forever but </3
