Since Mina can't go home due to the pandemic, they do google meets to talk to her kids and her wives. Nico playing doctor to her stuff toys and have assisstant Mina help her by talking thru the screen 🥺 ‐🍊

Ever since Mina had made the difficult decision to isolate herself from her family in the interest of her safety, everyone had suffered. Mina was miserable at work and then she didn’t even get to come home to her family. The kids were upset they weren’t in school and then they didn’t even get to play with Ka-san after. Nico missed her Ka-san and cuddling with her. Sana and Tzuyu just missed their wife. 

They had started doing family facetime calls to make the separation a bit more bearable. Sai and the triplets would usually start it off before darting off to play some kind of game or do homework. After they ran off Sana and Tzuyu took over the call, smiling at their wife and asking her about work. Nico usually stayed quiet, hugging her stuffed animal and watching her parents in her mama’s lap.

“Nico sweetie, you look like you have something to say.” Sana giggled as she looked at her little one, who was looking at her mom with wide eyes.

“I want to ask something of Ka-san.” Nico nodded. She had always been funny on video calls, she always thought her parents had to talk first and she could only talk to her ka-san after they were done, which didn’t make sense to her parents, but Nico had always been a weird specific child.

“What is it sweetie?” Mina looked at Nico, who looked so cute in Tzuyu’s lap.

“Ka-san can you help me? I think Shirokuma is sick…” Nico looked at her Ka-san. “Ka-san is a doctor right?” “I would love to help you sweetie.” Mina giggled at how adorable Nico was. “Do any of your other friends need a doctor?” “Some of them have boo boos.” Nico nodded. 

“Okay. Let’s go check them out yeah?” Ever since lockdown had started, Nico hadn’t had the opportunity to play with her friends her own age much. She could play with her sisters, but they were older than her, and if she played with them it was different from how she played with other three year olds. Mina, Sana, and Tzuyu had all sat down and talked about what they were going to do about Nico, as she was the most vulnerable person in their family. But three was a valuable age, and she needed to be able to play with other toddlers and learn to communicate and make friends. At the beginning of lockdown they had all watched as Nico seemed to be more and more down, always watching tv by herself. She couldn’t keep up with her big sisters playing, as much as she tried. To help her out, they had set up a few virtual playdates with Haeun and Hina, on top of entertaining Nico’s playing whenever she wanted to. “Want me to carry the camera?” Tzuyu asked Saana, putting Nico down on the floor to run off to her bedroom.

“Sure.” Sana nodded. “I’ll start on lunch. The older ones will be starving after all their playing outside.” “Sure.” Tzuyu nodded, picking up her laptop to carry it to Nico’s room. She put the laptop on the floor and sat on the floor by Nico. “So who should we start with first?” Mina asked Nico, watching as she gathered her stuffed animals. 

“Shirokuma!” “Okay. Tzuyu can you get Nico’s doctor kit?” Mina asked “I can get it!” Nico smiled, running off to her toy closet to get it. 

“How’s she doing?” Mina asked once Nico was out of earshot.

“She’s doing good. She was a bit bad yesterday, but she’s doing better today.” Tzuyu smiled at Mina, adjusting her seating position. “Sai and Saki threw her a tea party this morning, she was really happy about it.” “Oh I’m sure she was.” Mina laughed. “I miss you guys…” “Don’t get soft of me Myoui.” Tzuyu sighed. “We miss you too-”

“Ka-san!” Nico giggled as she ran to Mina. She was wearing a doctor’s coat and carrying a plastic pink box.

“Are you ready for duty doctor Nico?” “Yes doctor Ka-san!” Nico smiled.

“Alright, get out the thermometer so we can take Shirokuma’s temperature.” Nico looked a bit confused as she looked through her toy doctor kit. “Here, it’s this one.” Tzuyu helped Nico, pulling out a fake thermometer. 

“Got it!” The alphas both smiled at the toddler. “Shirokuma ahh.” Nico put the thermometer in the stuffed animals both, pressing the toys button. “Uh-oh it’s red!” “Oh no.” Mina giggled at her little one. “How about we give Shirokuma some medicine?” Nico nodded, digging through her kit and getting a fake medicine bottle. She pretended to open it, giving shirokuma a fake pill. “Now let’s let him rest while we look at some of the others.” Nico nodded, going over to her bed and tucking her stuffed animal into it. “Nico, your coat is dragging.” Tzuyu giggled at her daughter.

“Doctor Nico!” Nico insisted.

“Sorry, doctor Nico.” Tzuyu laughed. “Let’s fix that for you so you don’t trip.” Nico nodded and Tzuyu began folding up the bottom of the coat.

“Have you had a good day doctor Nico?” Mina asked as she watched Tzuyu help Nico.

“Uhm. Unnies and I had tea.” Nico giggled. Mina couldn’t help but want to hold her daughter. When she finally went home, she knew she was going to hug Nico for at least an hour. Probably more. She was going to hug each of the kids tightly, before falling into Sana and Tzuyu’s arms. 

“I heard. Did you like it?” “Yeah!” “Okay doctor Nico, you're all set.” Tzuyu smiled at Nico. “Okay, why don’t we check on Mr. Giraffe next?” Mina asked, looking at Nico’s stuffed giraffe. 

“Mr. Giraffe has a boo boo.” Nico said, examining her stuffed animal. “What do we do with boo boos?” “Bandaids!” Nico smiled.

“That’s right sweetheart.” Mina smiled at her daughter, watching Nico wrap a fake bandaid on the giraffe's neck messily. Afterwards Nico grabbed the fake stethoscope from her bag. “I’m like doc mcstuffins.” Nico giggled, putting it around her neck. “Yeah? You are.” Mina laughed at her daughter’s mention of one of her favorite tv shows. Sae had loved that show as a baby too. “Mama!” Nico put the end of the stethoscope on Tzuyu’s chest.

“Can you hear it?” Tzuyu asked, helping Nico put the plastic stethoscope in her ears.

“Uh-uh.” Nico nodded. “Breathe.” “Okay.” Tzuyu took a few deep breaths.

“Make sure to move it around sweetheart.” Mina laughed at the cute scene of Nico and Tzuyu. “Mama should be healthy, she almost always is.” “Mama.” Nico climbed into Tzuyu’s lap after examining her, letting out a little yawn. Nico always was tired around lunch, as after she ate she always took a long nap, even longer now that she wasn;t in school or going to playdates. 

“Are you done for today doctor Nico?” Mina asked her daughter. Nico nodded, cuddling with Tzuyu. Mina couldn’t help but want to be the one holding Nico, but she knew she couldn’t. “You did good today. I’m proud of you.” “Thank you Ka-san.” Nico yawned again.

“Why don’t we go check on mommy and lunch?” Tzuyu asked Nico, who nodded. “We will talk to you later okay Mina?” “Sure. I’m going to go take a nap too.” Mina also yawned.

“Bye Ka-san.” Nico waved.

“Bye sweetie. I miss you.” “I miss you too.” Neither Nico nor Tzuyu knew that the minute Mina hung up, she started crying.

bestie im curious, which drivers whove lost their seat in recent years (e.g kvyat, albon, magnussen, vandoorne etc) do you see regaining a place at f1 and which are you almost certain will not? love your blog and you btw hope you have an amazing day MWAH

BEFORE YOU READ: i am by no means an expert in anything this is just my opinion (i tried to think of drivers from the last few years)

albon: alex making a return to f1 seems like the most likely of the few to happen but there's a very slim chance that will actually happen. i think red bull are happy with checo and probably going to give him another year. as much trouble as yuki causes, they all seem to like him and i think they've learnt their lesson with albon and will probably give him at least another year in alpha tauri to gauge him properly. i don't know about pierre's contract situation but i don't see him moving any time soon so i think that leaves albon by the wayside for the moment.

vandoorne: stoffel is doing well in formula e right now so i don't really see the point in him coming back to f1, especially if it was to drive for a midfield team.

kvyat: yeah, no way. he's already had his second chance and it didn't work out. it was nice to see him back but truly there needs to come a point where he realises he's just being used as a seat warmer and deserves better.

magnussen: i think he's doing the world endurance championship next year so he's obviously not looking for a drive in f1 and i'm struggling to think of which team would sign him so that's also probably a no.

hülkenberg: i love nico but the man is a severely overrated driver and i am struggling to think of a logical reason why he'd be back in an f1 car unless it was for a race or two as the reserve.

grosjean: i want him back but he's doing well in indycar so i don't want his flow to be disrupted. also, i think no one would sign him because of the reputation he built up on track during his time in f1 :(

kubica: a damn shame the williams was such a shitbox because he's a good driver, just never got to show it. but again, i think his time in f1 has been and gone.

sirotkin: bring him BACK I LOVED HIM SO MUCH. but again, no chance.

hartley: i honestly cannot remember much about brendon but like kvyat, he was just used as an alpha tauri seat warmer until they could bring in someone younger.

ericsson: again, i love him dearly but he's doing so well in indycar so i don't think he'd move even if they asked.

Lando sniffled and shuffled away from Max and Dan's room as fast as he could. He could still hear the Mates snapping at each other inside and it made it whine softly. He loved Max and Dan, they were great to him, but their arguments (although not malicious) scared Lando like nothing else.

He was scared of angry Alphas in general, even when he knew them as well as he knew Dan. An angry Alpha's scent got sharper, more pungent, and it always felt like it was suffocating Lando.

He was lucky Max was an Omega, with a therefore less intense scent, but the Dutchman was fiery and just outright scary when angry. Lando hated the way Max's face scrunched up when he was angry. Max looked too much like Jos then, and Jos was one of the scariest Alphas Lando had ever met.

An angry Max and Dan was pretty much Lando's nightmare, especially since he normally sought out Max or Dan when he was afraid. Now that Max and Dan were the reason he was so afraid, he wasn't sure where to go.

Following his nose, he went to one of the rooms, smelling there was an Omega inside. He knocked on the door before slipping inside, not waiting for anyone to answer.

He swallowed thickly when he spotted Kevin cuddled into Nico's chest on the bed, both of them looking up when he came in.

"Hey Lando." Nico said with a kind smile. Kevin meanwhile sniffed the air and let out a soft noise when he smelled the fear in Lando's scent.

"Come here honey." The Danish Omega said gently, scooting closer to the end of the bed and letting Lando cuddle close. Lando sniffled, trying to blink the tears away.

"Nico, the blanket." Kevin said, urging Lando back and cooing as Nico pulled the blanket up over them.

"What scared you so much darling?" Nico asked softly, reaching out to brush Lando's hair.

"Max and Dan were fighting." Lando whimpered, closing his eyes and nuzzling into Kevin's shoulder. A shudder went through him and Nico rumbled comfortingly.

"What were they fighting about?" Kevin asked. Lando shrugged.

"Something stupid." He mumbled. Nico tutted.

"Then why were you so scared, baby?" He asked. Lando sighed.

"I don't know. I'm being stupid, sorry." He mumbled. Nico tited the Omega's chin up when Lando averted his eyes.

"You're not being stupid. I just asked in case they did something to you that made you so scared." Nico said. Lando let out a gasp.

"They would never intentionally hurt me." Lando said strongly.

"Good." Kevin muttered, scratching the back of Lando's next soothingly. Lando dropped his head back on Kevin's chest, grabbing Nico's hand to keep him close too.

"Are you tired, little one." Nico cooed, pulling Kevin close as he brushed his finger along the bridge of Lando's nose as the young Omega nodded.

"Yeah." Lando mumbled, even though he was relieved more than tired. Kevin pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Sleep then, little pup." The Omega said gently, happily nuzzling Lando's hair.

And Lando allowed himself to drift off to sleep, safe in the couple's arms.

He just hoped Max and Dan would be back to normal tomorrow.

Lando woke up to a lot of commotion. He heard people yelling his name. He whimpered and huddled into Kevin's hold, while Nico stormed off to the door to investigate.

The Alpha returned with a rather sheepish looking Max and Daniel, the couple holding hands as they inched closer to the bed. Kevin grumpily hissed at them, snuggling Lando closer once more.

"It's okay." Lando smiled, nuzzling Kevin's neck in thanks before getting up, shuffling over to Max and Daniel.

"We didn't mean to scare you, pup." Daniel sighed tiredly. Lando stayed quiet, still eying them intently. Max sighed, truly seeming upset.

"We're so sorry." He muttered, averting. "I know first hand how horrible it is when people are angry, I never wanted to hurt you like that." He added quietly. Lando sighed, before moving closer to hug them both tightly. Max cradled him to his chest as he was made of glass, while Dan nuzzled into his hair.

"It's okay. I forgive you." Lando muttered, just happy to be back in their embrace.

"You're a true little angel." Max muttered, kissing Lando's temple. Lando only cooed in answer.

"Lando?" Kevin spoke up hesitantly. Lando turned to see the Dane snuggled back into his Mate, seeming apprehensive.

"Thank you, for helping me. You are very sweet." Lando purred happily at them. "And I'd very much like to snuggle with you again, if that's okay." He added shyly.

Kevin and Nico both cooed happily, instantly agreeing to it. Lando grinned, while Max smiled hesitantly.

"I think we need to make a schedule, to determine who gets Lando which day." He said firmly. Lando rolled his eyes.

"Oh no mommy and daddy got divorced." He sighed, before snorting.

"We want him on mondays." Nico said.

"I want two weekends with him over month." Daniel piped up cheekily.

Lando let them argue with a small smile on his face.

He was just glad he was able to trust more and more people.

He could be proud of himself.
