STILL REIGNING PATRON SAINT OF JAPANESE METAL-PUNK GUITAR.

PIC INFO: Spotlight on late, great guitar wizard Randy Uchida (1962-2001), of Tokyo-based hardcore punk/heavy metal/metal punk band, G.I.S.M., another legend lost.

Only two surviving members of the classic "Detestation" (1983-'84) line-up remain, as of typing this, and I just remembered that original G.I.S.M. drummer Tohru "Hiroshima" Monamour exited this mortal plane back in January 2022. Eternal hails!!

jesse has a tendency to carry tiny origami papers around so he can make origami for the band while theyre in the tour bus. it’s mostly to distract himself from fame as well, but the members get little cranes and stuff when they wake up from a nap.

i mentioned it before because of this dream i had which im still super embarrassed to share, i’d love them to have a metal concept based on break-up, i want them to be mad for no exact reason /j. i vividly remember it being called Louder Than Us and 2 songs with subunits. they also had an extra remix track where 1 True Love was darker

also oh my god, backstreet boys are having a christmas album so ,, christmas album. i just know theyre gonna throw the ‘Under The Mistletoe’ or the ‘Gift For U’ sappy song titles

First post, it'll be a quick one.

My name is Kinzo (street name Warbeak, taken from a character in the children's book RedWall).

I love music; punk/crust/dbeat/punkmetal/deathmetal/doom/grindcore/noise/satanicrap/trap/hiphop & alot of genres on the in-between.

I am 33 yrs old, in a 4yr relationship & have a handsome cat named Roo.

I love taking care of my houseplants, taking a mean bong rip, and my self care routines...

I'm an opiate addict in recovery, but do not participate in any functions like NA or the sorts.

I made this tumblr for a specific reason -a safe place to express my more personal concerns- regarding my sobriety from opiates as well as relationship issues/advice. I don't have many people in my life I am comfortable confiding in about such things, so I thought maybe I might find some relief here.

PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on the late, great Philip John Taylor (21 September 1954 – 12 November 2015), a.k.a., "Philthy Animal", English rock 'n' roll/metal punk drummer and classic member of MOTÖRHEAD.

METALIVILLE: "What would you say your favourite songs are that you drummed on and been part of and why?"

PHILTHY ANIMAL: "Well, most of those would be MOTÖRHEAD songs -- "Overkill," "Bomber," "Stay Clean," "The Chase is Better than the Catch." I mean I liked 'em all really because I enjoyed playing the drums and being in a three-piece band you have to work a bit harder than if you are in a four or five piece band because there's gaps and if you are in MOTÖRHEAD you have tom work even harder because there's no bass player.

Lemmy's not a bass player -- he's a fuckin' guitar player playing a bass and there's no bottom end there so I do a lot more tom fills than other drummers but I enjoyed playing that. I enjoyed playing 'em all."
