After one employee's role with the company was reallocated to-- he was fired, there was a lot of talk about starting active shooter drills, and while most of the shop floor guys were like yeah no we definitely know who triggered that particular HR move, I was moreso looking at my bosses like "so you knew he was crazy this whole time and still said nothing? ... For six years???" Gaslighting your own employees is a feat in and of itself, but for six years you kept telling every one else that they were crazy for thinking Sir Whacko was crazy?? Six years

This is a Loving PSA
Have you attended a lot of parties in the course of your life?
I'll phrase this differently:
Do you have fond memories of sneaking out in high school?
Do you have fond memories of attending wild ragers at a college (either your own or a local campus)?
Do you have a pretty good grasp of the rules of most drinking games? If not, do you need more than a quick refresher when a drinking game is set up? Or, at the very least, when introduced to a new drinking game, can you generally get the hang of it pretty quickly based on past context?
Have you ever shotgunned a beer?
If you answered Yes to two or more of these questions, then yeah, you've probably been to "a lot" of parties.
In fact, if you answered Yes to two or more of these questions but feel like you've been to the "normal amount" of parties, then your party attendance is likely well above average.
So, if you are at a party and setting up Beer Pong and trying to get a friend to join in...
And if you know that friend is pretty shy and doesn't have much of a party history...
And if that friend is telling you they don't want to play because they "Don't Know Any Drinking Games"...
Then you might assume what they mean is: "Idk, I haven't played Beer Pong in a while and I'm not confident I'll remember the particulars..."
When what they are ACTUALLY trying to tell you is: "I have never once in my life played Beer Pong or anything remotely similar; please please please please please don't make me learn right now. The game hasn't even started and you guys are already so intense."

Want to know what is frustrating about genealogy, well at least the DNA part?
Not knowing the connection. Can not figure out the connection for a variety of reasons.
Adoption. Finding out the person you call Grandpa isn't your Grandpa. People just not knowing their own family history. None of this is their faults of course.
But when I, who lives in Canada has a DNA connection to 62 people who live in New Zealand and Australia, and none of us can figure out how we are related.
Until just the other day. One beautiful woman sent in her DNA and guess what? She has done her family tree. Her and the other 61 people all connect through my 4x great grandfather.
Almost all of his descendants went to Australia and New Zealand, while one line came to Canada.
6 years. 6 years of trying to figure it out. Then one person sends in the DNA and BAM...all the pieces fall into place.
