Das Schloss Schadau wurde zwischen 1846 und 1854 für den Neuenburger Bankier Denis Alfred de Rougemont erbaut. Fast so attraktiv wie die Architektur ist auch die Lage des Schlosses: direkt am Südufer des Thunersees beim Aareausfluss, mit Blick auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau.

Das Bauwerk, das im 19. Jahrhundert anstelle eines alten Landsitzes erbaut wurde, trägt romantische und neugotische Stilelemente und ist umgeben von einer weitläufigen englischen Parklandschaft, in der sich das Thun-Panorama und die Kirche Scherzligen integrieren. Das Schloss Schadau verfügt über neun traumhafte Hotelzimmer und Suiten. Im Restaurant werden Gäste mit köstlichen Spezialitäten aus der Schlossküche verwöhnt. Ob ein reichhaltiger Brunch, ein Afternoon-Tea oder ein feines Menü am Abend – im Schloss Schadau ist für jeden Geniesser etwas dabei. Das Boutique-Hotel ist besonders für romantische Hochzeiten beliebt, aber auch Seminare oder Bankette können in den stilvollen Räumlichkeiten veranstaltet werden.
