I’ve rewritten this twice, fuck it, short rundown of the Fallen Jedi Palpatine ‘recruits’ in order to get a powerful enough enforcer.

Empatojayos Brand-Lord Torca-Captured after Order 66, manipulated and literally medical malpracticed into a force sensitive General Grievous. The main Vader Hunter, between his computer enhance lightsaber skills and natural piloting skills.

Sora Bulq-Lord Murted-Fell before the Purge, retrieved from the Temple’s cells and placed in another fighting pit. Relatively more stable and resigned than his fellows. This, alongside his mastery of Vaapad, leaves him as the “greatest” of Sidious’ longstanding apprentices.

Galen Marek-Starkiller-Son of two Jedi who left the Order to get married, “recruited” by Lord Murted in a raid that killed his parents. Incredibly powerful in the Force, he technically exists as Murted’s personal agent in the Inquisition. Being groomed to kill Vader. Despite his upbrining, he harbours a serious conscience 

Lumiya-Shira Elan Colla Brie-Former Emperor’s Hand who proved powerful enough to receive further training following a confrontation with Luke Skywalker, and replace the ever growing “absence” of Apprentices.

Star Wars Au!ASOIAF

Anakin Rahraenos, most know as Skywalker, son of a Tiger Triarch, Vaenar Rahraenos, from Volantis and a bedslave, Shmi of Lhazar. His father never married or had any legitimate children, so since you age he was the only heir, even with his mother being a slave. He also has a little sister, Saerelys Rahraenos, who he grow to be closer with.

He was raised within the Black Walls of eastern Volantis, where he wasn’t liked by the other old blood families because of his slave heritage. Instead Anakin was very appreciated for the slaves, who saw him as a protector and friend.

During his childhood, he was trained and schooled by the best philosophers and warriors. Anakin was very close with his mother, who before being enslaved was a priest to the Great Shepherd. Unhappily when he turned sixteen his mother died from a fever after giving birth to Anakin’s sister, Saerelys Rahraenos.

After Shim’s death, Anakin became more bitter and rebellious, because of that his father send him to fight with a sell sword company for trying to control his anger.

This is where he meets Lady Padmé Arryn, who he falls in love with at first sight, he introduced himself as Ani Skywalker, a sell sword from Essos. They became closer during her travel and he makes love with her in the last night of the travel. In the next morning Anakin begs her to runaway with him, but Lady Padmé refuses and goes back to the Eyrie. Anakin is completely heart broken and goes back to Volantis.

In Volantis, his father welcome him and makes a party to celebrate his return, Anakin meets his little sister again and start to be a more present brother. Some months after his return,Vaenar trying to form alliance with a noble family from Astapor, arranged a wedding between Anakin and Magarra Luhz.

Anakin while still in love with Padmé marry with Magarra for his duty as heir. They marry in the same day that Padmé is giving birth their children. He and Magarra are cold in the beginning , but they respect each other and during the second year of marriage, Magarra give birth to a girl, called Shiera Luhz and five years later a boy called Tal.

He and his father administrate the fortune of the family, but Anakin while being versatile, prefer to take care of the ports, and because of that moved from Volantis to Astapor, where he ordered the construction of his ship, the Azure Angel. Anakin never negotiated slaves and in certain situations freed some of them.

He always wondered what happened with his first love, Padmé, but he is too focus on his family to go back to Westeros and see what happened to her.

Ps: English is not my first language.

Also this is an medieval au! I love anidala!, but there’s no way, with Anakin being healthy, that he wouldn’t get remarried in this alternative universe. Shiera is inspired by Shira Elan Colla Brie(Lumiya) and Tal is Tao, both apprentices of Darth Vader in the legends!Star Wars.

Darth Vader is the most iconic, well-known member of the Empire, thus by logic, he appears in large amount of stories, so he interacts with vast majority of known to us imperials. At the same time, Vader’s stories are the ones in which imperial characters very often deviate from the “norm” presented in movies. Alien imperial officers in very pro-human Empire. Old clone troopers that were considered a relict of the past. Young and older imperial women, a female officers never seen on screen in any movie. Soldiers with no political standing, no connection to rich families, coming from the farest from Core Worlds places. And who give them chance to rise in hierarchy? Who worked with them not caring for their lack of connections or brithplace, only skills? Yeah, of course, Vader.

I just love how Vader - both in-universe and out - breaks imperial norms.
