god this episode made me even more emo about normal like there is something so tragic in how easily he succumbed to the pride level and the fact that he pretty much openly admits he doesn't like himself? when he denied it so vehemently before? like ik the end of it was a HUGE oakworthy moment and i love oakworthy it made me nuts but also like. god normal went through this ep trying so hard with scary, asking about her even AFTER he yells at her, trying to bridge between her and link/taylor, trying to keep the party together for the first two levels... only to immediately admit that he doesn't like himself and his biggest pride is just being liked and accepted in public circles like GOD i hope he resolves things with hermie after this he deserves it literally so bad

Cutting the scene that explains ressurrections in the setting from the anime did incalculable damage not only to the worldbuilding but to the whole reason Shuro was pissed off at Laios and the party's flippancy at using dark magic to bring Falin back.
