Buddie shippers when you tell them you're not interested in shipping a pairing that hasn't gone canon in 6 years but they insist it's a slow burn.

The real problem is that some buddie shippers act like you have to ship Buddie and get angry at people who ship Buck or Eddie with other people.

with every “kirby kills gods at any minor inconvenience” “kirby is a ruthless killer” “kirby is literally a god” “kirby is a complete unaware infant” joke, i write a word to my fic. that’s how i’ve been able to write so much

#so little people give kirby character it’s so waaaaugh #sure there’s not THAT much to go off of from the media we have of him alone but there’s plenty tk expand upon #he’s kind and cares a lot about his friends and would do anything to keep them safe #but he’s also impulsive and acts on instinct rather than stopping to talk #and he’s like that because he has a strong moral code. he doesn’t appreciate it when someone forcefully takes something #or when his home is in danger #and he helps strangers in need of help but it doesn’t make him naive because he will fight back if he’s been wronged #he’s smart and knowledgeable about tech. able to make a spaceship and hack robots do all these puzzles #even in the novels kirby has character. sure he mostly thinks about food but his friends are still prioritized above that #hell even in the anime there’s some stuff to kirby despite the fact he IS a baby #people just don’t really treat him like a character #he can feel other emotions other than happiness. he doesn’t always perpetually smile #can you see why kirby’s written the way he is in my fics? #of course he’s still a young silly goofball #but my writing is meant to reflect what else there is to kirby because there’s hardly stuff about it

I would not at all mind another Demigod Diaries. I want to read more about all the characters who didnt get alot of book time. like, you're telling me Ethan didn't write a diary?? or Silena???? like, not even Clarrise?? and it doesn't even stop at demigods. Carter Kane totally kept a diary so he wouldn't forget a single detail of his time at Brookyln House. he would write about anything that he didn't put in the recording. and Sadie??? there is no way she DIDNT write about Walt non stop. or Samirah!!!! she definitely wrote in a diary to relieve stress and talk about her double life. Blitz probably kept a diary to write down ideas for his shop!! like dude!!! there's so much to work with!!!!

Eddie’s breakdown-deleted scene included

The “deleted” scene from Eddie’s breakdown that was included in Fox’s “We are family” season 5 recap video, which aired in September 2022, but wasn’t included in 5x13 “Fear-O-Phobia”, has been added and edited into the above video. Since the deleted portion starts when Eddie first looks up at Buck, it was added and edited into the section that begins after Buck said, “Eddie, hey, hey...what’s going on? Hey!” and before Eddie says, “They’re all dead!” because it seems like that’s where it might have been if the show hadn’t DELETED the majority of Eddie’s scene.

It’s interesting that all of Eddie’s breakdown scene wasn’t aired even though there was plenty of time for two boring emergencies to be included, i.e., the sharks and the spiders which took up more than 14 minutes of the episode (each emergency was more than 7 minutes long).  Also there were three unnecessary Buck and TayKay scenes that took up more than 9 minutes of the episode (each of their scenes were more than 3 minutes long).  If both emergencies and the BT scenes would have been shortened, instead of them taking up almost 25 minutes (which is more than half) of the 43-minute episode, there would have been plenty of time for all of Eddie’s breakdown to be included instead of the 5-minute scene that was shoved in at the end of the episode.

EDDIE DESERVES BETTER than the cropped and shortened scenes he’s always given.  Hopefully this will be remedied in 6B but with the way he was sidelined for a lot of 6A, it’s unlikely.

#Grays been emulating windwaker on his pc and I’ve been watching time to time. #911 lone star #repeat after me #owen is not the main character because this is an ensemble show #i mean as a general rule you really should stay out of people's inboxes to bitch at them about something you know they don't agree with #but also people are allowed to call out the show for trying to get clout for diversity and then making it the owen strand show #and not even the 'owen strand is sooo good at being fire captain' show which would at least get us firecrew scenes! #it's now the 'owen does anything BUT fire captain because that's basically like sitting on the bench' show #which is a shame because there are a billion police/fbi procedurals i could watch if i wanted to #but i don't i want the found family hopeful wholesome 911-verse #and when owen IS being captain or being dad to TK or one of the team or a friend for the other captains his scenes are so good!! #i love those scenes and they give us more content for the other ensemble characters #and THAT is a lot of the complaint about the screetime is that it's majorly going to one character doing outside stuff #so not only is it not centered on the other characters but they don't even hardly get to be involved! #ANWAY #don't mind me just tired of hearing people say no one can be mad because owen is the main character #if this was a show with 2 mains and a handful of supporting characters or the show was named after owen in some way i'd get it #but literally he isn't the main character and that is why people are upset

"Don't let it take TK." That's so important bc Owen talks about how Gwyn tells Owen that's he's sucking the joy out of their family after 9/11. And Owen knows how deeply their family falling apart hurt TK. And now he sees TK with someone who loves him so much and he sees Carlos about to make the biggest mistake of his life and he just wants to stop history from repeating itself. And Owen knows how important it is to Carlos to show him that he'll always take care of TK and I believe that Owen can see the similarities between himself and Carlos and he knows that Carlos would never be able to live with himself if he'd actually pulled the trigger. And it ties so well into Owen's speech at the rehearsal dinner about saving TK and TK and Carlos being meant to be and then the moment with Gwyn at the wedding with her telling him that TK is going to be okay

yes yes yes to ALL of this! and especially this part: I believe that Owen can see the similarities between himself and Carlos and he knows that Carlos would never be able to live with himself if he'd actually pulled the trigger

because i think that really gets at the heart of why owen's journey has made him uniquely equipped to reach carlos in the depths of his grief. of course owen wants to support and protect carlos - the same way he's supported judd and tommy and tk and mateo etc when they've experience loss - but there's a particular reason why he doesn't just say, whew! murder averted! take care son! and drop him back off at the loft where he knows tk is anxiously waiting for him

and that's because he knows how seductive it is to take one tiny step back from the edge but keep staring into the abyss for years and years because it feels like somebody has to. he knows how dangerous it is to think, okay, i didn't do the worst thing. so whatever else i do is justified

and he knows that the world won't stop him. in fact he knows from experience that if carlos goes down the rabbit hole and devotes his entire life to chasing some measure of meaning, almost everyone will understand and many will actually laud him for it. they'll call him a survivor. a leader. a hero. and the few people who truly love him enough to stand in his way will become collateral damage, because they have made themselves the enemy of his greater purpose

owen wants better than that for tk and everyone else carlos loves, yes, but above all he wants better than that lonely life for carlos and he knows that gabriel does too
