Probably one of my fave things about CPC is the fact that Gwen genuinely isn’t conventionally attractive, she’s not just some girl who *gasp* wears glasses and has her hair in a ponytail or something X_X The amount of ”””ugly””” characters I’ve that seen that fall into that trope bruhhh. But as the comic goes on, like Frederick, you get used to her appearance and come to appreciate her as truly beautiful bc of who she is <3

Hiii, I dunno if you can even share this with us but....will Jurassic World Chaos Theory perhaps have a more "mature" tone now that the characters have grown up? I mean I know the original series was already pretty brutal when it wanted it to be, but I'd always like to imagine this universe to tackle into more mature and violent tones like prominent characters actually dying and compelling villains with a personal history that screams more than just "nah I'm evil cuz I wanna butcher some dinos or make money outta them". I started a "Spanish" notebook where I put my class notes and any other concepts, vocabulary, etc. for myself to review/study. I watched Shrek in Spanish the other day and started this vocabulary list; it's only for the first 30 minutes or so but there are a lot of good words I legitimately think I will use in every day conversation. (I did give up note-taking at some point and just wanted to watch the movie). I don't know why but I'm obsessed with the word "cuchitril" (Donkey uses this word to refer to Shrek's house). Another favorite that comes up a lot throughout the movie is "hechizo" which means "spell". One of the resources our teacher showed us for looking up words is this website/dictionary, Word Reference. It's helpful because it lists various meanings and puts them in sentences, definitely a step up from Google Translate

"Caretaker!"

Caretaker spun around and slammed their hand over their newest acquisition, pretending they were only... casually leaning on the desk for support. They tried to smile and not think about the damage that might've caused to the little creature wiggling under their palm. "Yes, sir?"

Whumper walked over and placed a hefty pile of papers on their desk with a smile that told Caretaker everything they needed to know. "I need these done by tonight, yeah? If you'd be so kind."

Yeah. Of course there would be a sudden assignment and an increase in workload just as they'd found a fairy– or whatever the hell they'd found. "Of course, sir. Consider it done."

"Thanks. Just put them on my desk later."

They nodded, not moving an inch. Whumper's smile faltered a little, and their expression became more suspicious. "Why are you just standing there like that?"

"Oh, I–" They glanced around the office for some excuse, but came up empty. "I was just... stretching my back a little. Before I sat back down for... another four or so hours."

Their boss faked being impressed, then nodded towards them. "That's how you stretch your back?"

"Well, uh–"

"You're right. None of my business. None at all." Oh, thank god. "Just make sure the papers are ready. Your back suffering a little in the process is a sacrifice I'm willing to make."

Not very surprising. "Of course, sir."

Whumper left the office without another word, and Caretaker immediately took their hand away to examine the little thing. Fuck. They looked so much worse than before.

"N-no more... please..." it whimpered, and Caretaker's heart broke.

"No more," they repeated quietly. "No more. I'm so sorry. I had to hide you fast, I, I didn't know what to do..."

"It hurts..."

"I know. I'm sorry. Let's try to help with that somehow, yeah?"
