În acest  moment, cuvântul ”spectacol” pare mult spus la grupul artistic ”Nino Nino”.

Şi totuşi, îndrăznim să-l pronuţăm pentru că în cele câteva luni de activitate, copiii din grup s-au implicat, fie şi sporadic, în câteva momente artistice pe care, cu emoţie, le vor interpreta miercuri, 23 octombrie 2019, ora 16.00, la Casa de Ajutor Reciproc a Pensionarilor ”Ana Aslan” din Brăila. Unii dintre ei au deja în repertoriu momente pe care le-au interpretat pe la diferite evenimente culturale, reprezentând unele instituţii cultural-artistice şi vor fi prezenţi miercuri la întâlnirea cu personalităţi culturale brăilene, ajutând grupul ”Nino Nino” să se desfăşoare într-un mic spectacol, şi aşa cum am mai spus, importantă este întâlnirea cu scriitorii brăileni, într-un dialog educativ dintre generaţii.

În acest sens, vineri, 18 octombrie şi sâmbătă, 19 octombrie, la Secţia de Împrumut pentru copii. Ludotecă de la Biblioteca Judeţeană ”Panait Istrati” Brăila, copiii au lucrat intens la câteva momente artistice, ajutându-l pe Lică Barbu să poată completa un desfăşurător de spectacol, căutând ca toţi copiii să fie incluşi în acest tablou cultural-artistic.

Cristina Bratu (Cristina Fluierina) va recita poezia Bunica mea de Angelina Nădejde, Ema Popîrlan (Greieraş), Marina Karina-Christine Zaharia (Peştişor) şi Giulia Orăşanu vor încânta publicul de la CARP Brăila cu câteva melodii populare, Nectarie Spânu (Nectarină) ne va uimi cu improvizaţia lui în momentul umoristic Vecinii invidioşi, imaginat

spontan, Cristina Dragomir (Sfioasa), indecisă, ca de obicei, va cânta ceva, nu ştim încă ce, Roxana-Ioana Dan (Roxi Foxi) va fi prezentă cu un monolog din piesa de teatru Chiriţa în provincie de Vasile Alecsandri, Daniel Dan (Titirez) va interpreta momentul umoristic N-am ştiut că azi e vineri… de Lică Barbu, Maria Bălan cu Roxana-Maria Codreanu (Licurici) vor dansa un dans modern, uşor improvizat, iar ca interpretare în grup, sceneta Înger, îngeraşul meu! de Lică Barbu, interpretată de Eutalia-Cristina Mincu (Clopoţica), Miruna-Gabriela Matei (Perluţa), Licurici, Cip Cirip sau Greieraş (căci avem şi rezerve), Cristina Fluierina şi Alex Ioniţă (Ursuleţ) va completa tot acest spectacol, sperăm noi cât de cât reuşit. Şi nimeni nu poate contesta că orice spectacol realizat cu copii este de succes. Mai ales de”Nino Nino”.

Păi, vedeţi? Nici Lică Barbu nu se aştepta la atâta desfăşurare de forţă artistică la ”Nino Nino”, cu toate ”năzbâtiile” copiilor din grup, dar, mai ales, având în vedere şi prezenţa sporadică a copiilor la activităţile grupului.

Încă de la înscrierea primului copil la proiectul ”Zâmbetul uneşte”, Lică Barbu a subliniat în mod special că drumul spre succes nu este simplu şi uşor. Va trece ceva timp până când copiii vor putea gusta din victoria succesului. Pentru a concretiza momente artistice de succes cu copiii, este nevoie de multă răbdare, elementul principal al activităţilor de grup în care sunt implicaţi copiii. Prin răbdare şi urmând mulţi paşi spre cunoaştere, înţelegere, disciplină, educaţie, vom putea să răspundem în faţa oamenilor că ”Nino Nino” nu există în van.

Răbdarea a impus grupului artistic ”Nino Nino” că este foarte important să te grăbeşti încet.

Mulţumim părinţilor care au avut încredere să-şi îndrume copiii către Asociaţia Culturală Leviathan, în cadrul proiectului ”Zâmbetul uneşte”, dar şi pentru răbdarea de care dau dovadă în acest drum către succes şi atât de necesară cu copiii, în acest vis minunat numit ”Nino Nino”!

Totodată, îi informăm că strategia de lucru a grupului se va schimba în curând, în sensul că prezenţa la activitatea grupului va fi pe ateliere de lucru şi astfel, copiii cântăcioşi vor veni într- una dintre zilele săptămânii, micii actori în altă zi, iar în altă zi vor veni toţi copiii dornici de ţopăială şi joc, mă rog, la activităţi educative de grup.

Brăila este pregătită să întâmpine cu aplauze aceşti copii minunaţi, iar ”Nino Nino” va striga bucuros în cor: ”Brăila, veniiim!”

Little info post on the Istrati vampires, what exactly the Book of the Sun is, etc. All current made art for the Book of the Sun here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/gJQa3E The Book of the Sun contains the written down history of the Istrati Clan. It is meant to be an in-world object that I want to illustrate and draw the pages of to tell the world building, create immersion and basically add meat to the bones. The book itself is supposed to be written and worked on by multiple members of the Istrati over the course of many centuries, basically being a patchwork piece of literature including information about the Istrati themselves, their struggles and relations with other clans, the world and area they live in, their members, and more. The Istrati are a clan of vampires, formerly a sister clan of the Benedicere, who ultimately splintered off from them under the lead of the strigoi Alexandru. Fundamental differences in their views towards the treatment of humankind, as well as a personal grudge by Alexandru involving the sun-affine dragon Zenobia led to the events that separated both groups from each other.  Centuries before the Istratis founding, the dragon Zenobia was discovered to have pure golden blood, which while also being beautiful to look upon, was thus already being desired by many. Mortalkind then discovered it featured many healing properties and was used widely in alchemy and medicine. After a year long hunt for her, Zenobia was trapped and her wings cut off from which a stream of golden blood run over her, and seeped into the ground. In rage Zenobia killed her hunters and destroyed the area around her, then fell into a deep state of unconsciousness for decades. When she woke up from this, the dragon again started to ravage the land and only end her massacre weeks later, falling again into a sleep-like state of being. A dragon can only be killed by a sword made of the same magic the beast is made of. After realizing the Benedicere had kept Zenobia’s sword stashed away, the strigoi Alexandru, a former Benedicere vampire, decided to steal it and found the Istrati, a clan of vampires that all shared a view on mortalkind that ranged from neutrality to sympathy - contrary to the Benedicere that saw humanity as nothing else but livestock. As Zenobia’s death would rupture the area’s environment, the Istrati can’t kill her, only keep her at bay and hunt her until she collapses once more. The leadership of the Istrati is one single person, the High Lady or High Lord, which does not necessarily have to be the keeper of Zenobia’s sword at the time, but almost always was or is. The clan itself was founded in the year 839 before the death of the dragon Saiph Auriga. To bring it a bit into perspective, Vasil Istrati Zaharias, the last ever to join the clan was born in the year 1273 after the death of Saiph Auriga. He was turned 29 years later. Alexandru was the first High Lord, and numerous followed him, of which most notable were Orsolya Istrati Szatmári, Mihail Istrati Buzărnescu, and Eleonora Istrati Buzărnescu. After Eleonora’s death no hierarchy was established anymore as the only vampires left were her three adoptive sons, Rafael, Jarek and Vasil. For more year shenanigans and visualization - Sety, who later befriends the three, was born in the year 1295 after Saiph's death. Most of the stuff I draw or write about is during the latter centuries of the clan, when the only vampires left of it are indeed Eleonora's sons. Eleonora reluctantly became the last High Lady of the Istrati by pure chance, as the clan started to break apart after her husband Mihail's death. Together with him she had two children, who died under the same circumstances as her husband shortly later, leaving her in a depressed state. Slowly more and more members of the clan left, but it was during this time that Eleonora found her sons and turned them, only to start leading the Istrati as a family instead. All three brothers used to be human before getting turned, and each of them had a different reason how they end up as a vampire. Vasil, born in the year 1273, is a native italian speaker from Tuscany (albeit with a romanian father) who got turned at age 29, eight years after an incident with Zenobia because of which he lost his left arm. Jarek, born in the year 1184, is a native czech speaker from Moravia, turned at age 24, who traveled together with close friends in hope for a better life and ended up being abandoned by them. Rafael, born in the year 1121, is a native german speaker from the Middle Rhine area, turned at age 27, who had to flee into exile for being born as a mage, during a time where people were mostly afraid of magic. The brothers are extremely close, by the way. They truly see each other as their closest family and it’s basically impossible to separate them.
