#byler #bylerweek2023 #Day 4 Summer Love #byler edit #byler gifs #mine #mine:gif #to get a more summer-esque vibe you should listen to the song! #creative process: i never have a creative process when it comes to gifsets. i tend to start my infamous laptop and run photoshop and see #what comes out of it. this time i really wanted to put some extra effort. when i make a gifset the first thing is finding out the vibes #i want to give to it. since it's summer love i wanted to have bright warm colors that recall summertime and i decided to use of course #footages from S3 - since it's the only season set in summertime - but of course it wouldn't be a gifset of mine if i didn't add a “gloomy” #vibe to it. that is why i spent an entire afternoon finding out a song that would give me summertime sadness kinda vibes and i found #“free with you” which is an incredible song with an incredible mv that i ofc linked in the post description. so #this gifset is all about summer love and it's meant to make you feel the love; the summer vibes; but at the same time i wanted it to be #a little angsty because 1st that's what S3 is about and 2nd - this is how i picture summer loves #i love to put this dualtity in my gifsets: vibrant colors and a really melancholic undertone that you can perceive just if you look twice

Hi! Thank you for the question, it's no problem to clarify! Of course, I don't speak for all Jewish people so there may be some people who disagree with the additional info. BUT this is what I've gathered talking to other Jewish Star Trek fans.

It's the totally green skin. Like a very slight green blush or bleeding green isn't antisemitic, Vulcans DO have green blood. But when people give him a bright green undertone or very clear green skin, that's when it crosses the line into antisemitism in my personal opinion.

I personally would try and grab Spock's skintone from the animated series or real life photos of Leonard Nimoy if you can!

#sorry im just still not over the food wars worthy brownies i made yesterday that paired so perfectly with chocolate ice cream that it's like #they were made for that exact purpose #the brownies were bittersweet with a nutty undertone and the ice cream had a distinct cocoa flavor that brought out the deeper chocolate #flavors in the brownies while the warm brownie's fudgy texture was perfectly cut through with the cold cream #and of course the sweetness of the ice cream made up for any sweetness the brownies themselves were lacking

#huntlow #i am so fixated on whatever hunter's deal is with his own hands #its possible it means absolutely nothing and its possible it means EVERYTHING #lately ive just been seeing the gloves as a representation of hunter's very last emotional barrier #there was his mask cloak uniform and breastplate but all that is gone now #i think when it comes to revealing his face theres a sense of identity #and it can emcompass all forms of love and familiarity. and in this case when the mask first came off he found his first friend in Luz #followed closely by flapjack #but he didnt entirely forget himself in that ep. he made a connection but he was still distanced. still held back. still guarded. #and then when he shed his armor for hexside infiltration and flyer derby he just #let himself get swept away in it. he was happy he was warm he was lighthearted. he had fun and he made a bunch of friends #and then again during that moment where he comforts gus #hes wearing his flyer derby outfit. his armor is gone once again and theres no breastplate to guard his heart #he opens that heart to gus. he makes a sincere attempt to express empathy and compassion. he tries to show gus that he cares about him. #which is HUGE for hunter #his kindness has always been there but hes never been good at articulating it. but he tried and he did a good job #and like. okay so face heart hands. those are the big three in my stupid little brain #and there is something so very vulnerable and intimate about hand imagery #full of romantic undertones if you will #and there HAS already been an emphasis on huntlow and interlaced fingers so its like. hm. #anyway im bullshitting symbolism that isnt actually there i know im aware #but i am manifesting that when those gloves come off willow will be involved #the hands are willows jurisdiction
