For the wels headcannons:

Long hair, can't cut it due to knightly tenets and stuff, so he braids it most of the time :)

I always draw him with Elf ears, nothing too pointy, I usually make em kinda droopy (my pfp is a good example)

Freckles!!!

Battle scars ofc, I like to think that most of them aren't actually from battles and more from accidents

I really love the contrast between the way the barricade rebels prepare for their deaths vs the way Javert prepares for his death….Les Amis are all doing deep introspection, reflecting on their pasts and hopes for the future, and having deep emotional conversations with each other.

Meanwhile Javert is just bitterly cackling like a supervillain at the idea that at least the rebels will be dragged down with him:

Javert began to laugh with that noiseless laugh which was peculiar to him, and gazing intently at the insurgents, he said to them:
