Compare this to Lambert who only had one son - bar reigniting dilfcourse because obviously Ionius fucked way more than Lambert - I found it weird but it’s never mentionned in the game (iirc) that Lambert was kind of “neglectful” to only get one son, when all royal successions would at least count on at least 2 to make sure there would be no succession crisis if Dimitri dies randomly (or not so randomly).

And yet, in Supreme Leader’s support here, this angle was tackled to depict Ionius, who had to have a lot of heirs, had to sleep with many lovers (why, Adrestians women can only pop one kid and then they’re done? Is that the “justification” Supreme Leader received when she asked why her dad had 25 lovers?) and it’s only because he had to have many heirs that he took so many lovers, but he really loved Anselma and only her.

In the end, my mother settled for becoming one of his many consorts. But I choose to believe there was genuine love between them

sm doesn't seem to like giving actual 'subunits' to their <five member groups, so i don't think jyj would have happened, but we'd probably still have gotten solo careers (eventually) from the four that have them, and probably i think a couple of duets, but they wouldn't have extensive promo periods/albums attached to them. probably yunjae and maybe changmin jaejoong? they might have also done a yunho junsu dance type one as well. but to be honest i do actually think the split was for the best, bc had they all had continued under sm we would not have gotten all that excellent angry music out of 2011-2014, AND we probably would not have gotten any of junsu's iconic songs either.

maybe it's just cus i grew up with close family that were significantly older than me (older siblings who are 14+ years older than me, cousins triple my age, etc), but y'all really need to step back and realize that viewing any/all casual or friendly interactions between teens and adults as unsafe or predatory doesn't help anyone. it's one thing to have a preference for who you personally interact with (especially if you're 18+ and have an explicit blog/account/whatever), but acting like nobody should interact with anyone outside their age group both in person and offline is incredibly stupid.

People stop glorifying killing animals for whatever reason under the guise of "it's eco friendly" challenge when?

I am specifically referring to when people mock those that care about animals and then throw in a "plastic is bad for the environment" bit to make it seem like they're just using shock value to get people to not be vegan or whatever. I'm not talking about just, like, the general concept of using animal products and posts that go into why those are often better.

Like, there is a genuine conversation to be had about how many 'vegan' products are more or less a scam to sell products to a very real group of potential customers that think these products are helping when they are not and thus make money from yet another market. That conversation can be had, however, without making fun of those people for not liking the general concept of using the parts from a living creature.

I don't know who you think is going to want to listen to you and your warnings of harm when you are making fun of them in the process. This isn't even a 'not my job to educate you' thing, like, you are actively trying to educate others with these posts and then just like, feel the need to be a jerk about it.

Anyway, sorry. I keep seeing stuff like this...all over the place, honestly, and people generally just share it because I'm sure they see the good message and ignore the overall jerk vibe they generally have.

Before I share the ouch, some context;

I have ALWAYS doodled while working, it's part of how I focus on what's being said when someone's speaking. I can't retain information well while focusing on where I'm staring or whether I'm making weird eye contact. I also can't sit still. Doodling mindlessly is how I deal.

Drawing also soothes, of course, so it's a good way to unravel anxiety buildup during times when I can't step away or distract myself.

To be clear, I'm very open about the little coping methods I have and why I do them and how they help- and if any of this sounds familiar, then you probably won't be surprised to hear I learned these self-management skills in therapy. Years and years of therapy.

My health, both physical and mental, also makes finding work and holding said work long-term really, really challenging. I've honestly more or less given up on ever being stable and have mostly settled for just finding ways to be happy despite the struggle, y'know? So when I applied for and was accepted into a new position that I started yesterday, I decided "y'know what, this is a chance to prove myself wrong and break the trend" and until about five minutes ago, that was going great.

but holy shit does one comment ever have the power to destroy an entire person, one thoughtless joke that I'm sure was meant in good nature, harmless from their perspective, can i even be mad?
