on one hand you have mork who is older and has the role of the caretaker, but who has also struggled alone for a long time and is constantly made to feel inferior by society, while on the other you have day who is younger and has had a more sheltered life but that doesn't make him timid or naive. and idk i just love the picture that this paints in my head. mork isn't shy by any means but he has a lot of self doubts and most of the time he thinks that day deserves someone better than him, which makes him hesitant in a lot of things, while day has nothing that holds him back. he's gonna touch mork's face and hold him at night and bare his teeth at him and all these gestures are both claim and reassurance: you are mine and i am yours

and eventually mork is gonna look at day's arms wrapped around him and finally start to believe it

Alastor and Husk were sitting in front of the tv in the lobby, watching a performance from an alternate of Al's. It had taken quite a bit of messing with to get it to display it somewhat decently, and Al still used his mic to let them have the full experience of the sound.

It wasn't the type of music Al listened to at all, but... perhaps he could start at least attempting to try and enjoy some more modern sounds. He did have a soft spot for 'electro swing', why not expand to completely different genres? It certainly helps to hear a voice so similar to his, yet different, putting on a performance that he wishes he could have been there to see in person.

"..." Husk had watched silently, mouth slightly agape in surprise. When Al had said they were going to try and watch something, this was not what he had expected. He turns his head to look at Al when the performance is over, staring at him. Al looks back, head tilting a bit in confusion.

"What is it, Husker? You'll catch flies with your mouth open like that."

Husk snaps his mouth shut, grumbling something incoherent under his breath as he rises from the couch. Something about being too sober for this?
