also can I just say. the difference between the joy of fit and bagi having a full day with blue, getting acquainted with the base, reuniting with their loved ones, all relieved to have more materials and more of a team - and then the absolute misery of etoiles and roier, moving the few valuable possessions red has to a new base that got immediately discovered anyway, losing all their gear, getting it back, then burning it themselves before killing eachother, is just so fucking funny. the new blues had freshman orientation while the new reds had a trial by fire canon event

Okay well since my petting video won't work, have a picture of our current state. My baby puppy is snuggled sooooo close to me, tucked up behind my side and under my arm.
And yeah, Emma had a big leap while we had a guest dog for a week, which she wasn't happy about but did pretty well with, and actually asked for a bunch of pets as reassurance and made me & Jack both nearly cry.
I've been able to pet her almost every day since, and now everyone in the house has pet her at least once. I got to give pets twice today after work, even during the initial greeting excitement, which was a first. Usually she's too overstimulated for pets then. But she wanted pets and also gave me love eyes! 🥺
She's doing SO GOOD and I've been very emotional over her again with being able to actually pet my previously untouchable dog.
OH YEAH AND LOOK I was touching her paws!!!!
And she wanted me to hold her chew!!!!
And I just rested my arm on her all relaxed!!!!

I was wondering if any of y'all have some go-to recipes that are super simple and straightforward to make that you'd be interested in sharing? Like meals that require as few steps and prep as possible? I'm trying to make more food at home and avoid highly processed microwave meals, but I lowkey hate cooking, especially when it's just for myself. While my executive dysfunction has definitely improved over the last month, I still very much have depression and ADHD and thus struggle to tackle more labor intensive activities unless there's a lot of dopamine release involved in the process. I obviously want to improve though, and I figure it's about time to stop living off my protein oatmeal. (It's super good tho, fairly nutritious, and really easy to make--just oats, protein powder, peanut butter, and a bit of honey).
I've compiled a bunch of possible recipes over the last few weeks (mostly from blogs listing meal ideas for picky children lmao), but was just curious if any of you had personal favorites of your own. Since I'm just starting out and have a shitty little 1970s apartment kitchen, I'm pretty limited, and don't really like dealing with super perishable ingredients like fresh produce yet. So only bother with sharing the kind of shit a latchkey middle schooler could make on their own lol
feel free to share them in the replies, or you can pm me or send me an ask too if you'd rather do that instead. It's much appreciated, and I'll let you know if I end up making your recipe!
