Holy shit I just realized
This also makes the title track both about their namesakes having a romantic(?) day out, but also the artistic approaches they both embody. Both the pure abstract emotion from Agnes, but also pursuing beauty regardless of societal attitudes from Hilda. (my interp anyway)
The fact that the part representing Hilda in the album cover is a furry fits perfectly
"Some days I'm Agnes, but just as often I would rather be Hilda"
This in itself is beautiful, because it implicitly shows that there is in fact not a one perfect approach to art, but there are at least multiple that suit you at different times, and that's okay!
Whats even more wild though is that this implies an interplay between both approaches. DIFFERENT ARTISTIC MODES BEING THE SUBJECTS IN AN ART PIECE. AND THEM INTERACTING?? How cool is that???

"To progress in life you must give up the things you do not like. Give up doing the things that you do not like to do. You must find the things that you do like. The things that are acceptable to your mind."
[Agnes Martin]

“There is an intense relationship between proximate objects, a much weaker one between objects further away, and as for the really distant ones there is none at all, and that is the nature of God.” ― László Krasznahorkai
