Agustín is a big fan of Hernando. He often asks Bruno for his best Hernando impressions and gets a real kick every time his brother in law puts his hood up.

Being so accident prone, Agustín sometimes lacks the confidence to do certain things so he channels his own inner Hernando. He often ends up in trouble and getting hurt but he is proud of himself that he tried something that could (and unfortunately did) go wrong!

Okay, so I just re-watched Encanto and realized that Agustin and Julieta doesn’t have a line in “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”. So I was thinking... Maybe Julieta and Agustin actually know that Bruno was still in the house and was actually taking care of him... Oorrrrr maybee, they don’t have any ‘say’ about our dear Bruno because they know that he’s actually a sweeatheart...

Bruno is shuffling awkwardly around Casita trying to keep out of the way. Alma has been making sure everyone acts their best for Dolores’ gift ceremony and he didn’t want to make waves. Especially when it seemed his connection to the family was getting worse and worse. So when he found a drop of blood he didn’t even try and stop his eyes from turning green to figure out who it was. He sees a male clutching his head and only one male fits the body type. AGUSTIN.

He follows the trail as it gets a little more and a little more. It’s hard when Casita is trying to clean it up but it doesn’t clean any until he steps over it so he can track it to the shared bathroom where his hermano in law was clutching his head.

“Agustin?! Do you need me to get Julieta? This looks...heads aren’t meant to do that!”

She had been on edge all day. Her heart and her mind racing. Sometimes it felt hard to breath, or it would take a minute for world around her to appear normal.  She was in an on and off state of PANIC. The girl gifted with strength felt ANYTHING but strong in the moment. She just felt TIRED and stressed. 

She took a deep breath before turning to her father. “ I don’t want to be worthless ... I don’t want to be unhelpful... But I don’t think I can keep doing ALL this, everyday. ”  Once the words were out in the open, Luisa found herself looking down at the ground. Her feelings were out in the open, and it felt like a burden was lifted off her shoulders. But she feared the response her confession would get.

Pepa is, in some ways, a wholly different person than she was when she met Agustín. But there are some aspects of her personality that have never changed. Like the innate desire to tease a brother, whether he be her blood or not.

“Agustín,” she says, a smug look on her face so similar to Camilo’s that it’s jarring, “you should watch your head.” She would almost sound serious, if not for the wavering, childish lilt in her voice.

I know the little gremlin child is a little shit, but please give him a chance. Elena and him have a similar backstory and she cares about him. I didn't make a comic, but I wrote a short fanfic describing her character. Because I am dying to finally get to Elena and Bruno's first meeting.

There was something freeing about being back home. Freeing, but also a little unsettling, which left Adelita feeling disoriented. It was as if she'd been spun in a circle for hours, left to teeter and tip as she made her way through a family both familiar and foreign. She was not the same girl she'd been seven years ago, and they were not the same people themselves.

It wasn’t a bad thing at all, of course. People grew and changed. Adelita had always been quiet and withdrawn, nervous and uncertain. But after three years without her mother and longer without her father, all she wanted was to try - for the first time in her eighteen years - to reach out to the family she’d missed.

Coming home when their gifts had faltered had to have been a good thing. Now they could really start rebuilding.

“Tío Agustín?” Hopefully she wasn’t interrupting him. She had memories of her uncle being accident prone when she was a girl. “Are you busy? I saw you outside and just... I wanted to say hi is all.”
