"Hm?" he looked up from the paperwork he was doing after you finished your long rant about the new movie you watched with your friends.

"Oh, never mind then," you huffed. He probably hadn't listened to a single word you had said. How could he, with how much you talked?

Akutagawa narrowed his eyes at you, and you felt small against the look on his face.

"No," he said curtly, sitting up straight, his calculating gaze deepening. "Don't stop."

"Stop what?"

"Don't stop talking," he looked back down at his papers. "We'll watch the movie after I get this over with."

Your face immediately brightened up and you resumed your talk. Akutagawa smiled softly.

Dazai turned to look at you. It had probably been hours since you came to bed together, neither of you able to sleep. So you had decided to talk - rave, more like - about this and that.

"Nah, you don't, bella," he said simply. "I talk more than you."

"Then why don't you?" you pouted, snuggling up closer to him. "When I drone on and on about stuff, and I don't hear you reply, I feel like you don't want to listen."

"Oh, but I do, darling," he kissed your forehead. "I love listening to you."

"Really?"

His face turned mock-serious. "Bella, if I were to die now, it would be from the sheer beauty of your dulcet tones."

Since Dazai was never much of an early sleeper, he didn't mind it one bit, really. But he could never forgive himself for making you feel unwanted as he once did.

dazai’s sibling couldve entered the agency a little bit before atsushi joined and one day on a mission they get injured and dazai goes all protecter mode for his sibling and at first no one thinks much of it until dazai casually mentions something about them being related and everyone’s like wait huh-

dazai and the reader could be different, like reader is more calm, a little crazy like their brother but more controlled and overall more responsible lol but once them and dazai team up it’s like they’re on the same level of crazy and everyone has that “yup they are siblings” moment

Akutagawa has absolutely no idea how to care for a partner and we need to remember that. He’s probably stoic, cold and monotone even when he IS expressing interest in you.

Kissing would also be an extremely foreign concept, I think his way of expressing affection would be to simply press your foreheads together. His eyes shut for just a moment, as he appreciates any warmth he feels from you.

He asks!! A lot of questions!! Lots of tiny little check ins on what you enjoy that may sound like he’s being too blunt but it’s appreciated since he’s not assuming anything about you. If he forgets, he asks immediately. (Though I believe he’d write it somewhere, or that he just wouldn’t allow himself to forget.)

Akutagawa is most likely on the ace spectrum, and can imagine him having nudity repulsion (whether it’s based on trauma or not is an entirely different ballpark, and I personally won’t be touching it despite similar traumas). But I think he’d just… want to be close to you.

Abandonment issues? Oh, plenty. He gets angry about it, Aku definitely keeps close track of where you’re going. (Most likely candidate for a yandere too imo if we’re going anywhere near that) I don’t think you can help too much, last gentle reassurance. Even then, sometimes it’s not enough.

He’s gentle, refusing too much intimacy but you must remember. He’s been raised to be dangerous. Unlike Atsushi, he’s explosive and angry. You can’t fix that.

CHUUYA NAKAHARA

• you were cheating on him in his nightmare

• the day seemed to be going normal for chuuya. he left work to come home to something that was anything but normal. another pair of shoes were at the door- a guy’s shoes. that’s when everything turned upside down

• he hurried into your shared home when he found another guy’s hands all over you. and it wasn’t just anyone, not to chuuya. his former brown-haired partner separated his lips from yours before he sent chuuya a smug grin

• meanwhile, you could only look at chuuya sadly before looking back at dazai. it broke his heart to see you just wrap your arms around dazai a bit tighter, not daring to defend yourself

“hm, seems he came back a bit sooner than we thought, huh?” dazai hummed.

“shut up,” you murmured, “you’re the one who lost track of time.”

• when he woke up, that sense of being betrayed hit chuuya hard. his heart raced as he turned his body around to look at you, who was just innocently sleeping

• he knew you’d never do such a thing, but dazai’s grin was taunting him in his head. and as if you could sense his troubles, you began to wake up. you tiredly rubbed your eyes as you looked at chuuya, who seemed spooked

“hey,” you asked, concerned, “what’s wrong? you look hurt…”

“my mind was messing with me, that’s all.”

you watched as chuuya tried to play it off, but it wasn’t working. you were no fool. you were the most perceptive out of the port mafia executives, so no one could hide anything from you, especially not your boyfriend.

“you look a bit paler than usual, chuuya. sweat’s dribbling down the side of your head as well. tell me what happened. i’m all ears.”

• once you’ve heard everything, chuuya feels embarrassed. you joined the port mafia after dazai left, so you don’t even know the guy

• not only that, he was both frustrated and upset that you had the audacity to cheat on him with dazai of all people in his nightmare. trust and loyalty are qualities chuuya holds dear, and you happened to break them

• you laugh it off before telling him that it’s normal to feel that way. you continue to comfort him and once he feels better about it all, chuuya holds you close. his arms are wrapped around your waist as the two of you fall asleep again

• this time, he finally gets to punch dazai in the face (yes he is happy, even if it’s a dream)

RYUNOSUKE AKUTAGAWA

• you were kidnapped in front of his eyes in his nightmare

• nothing scares this man more than having something important slip out of his grasp. in this scenario, you were taken away from him by a group that was fighting with the port mafia. not only that, but he never seen you ever since

• when he wakes up, although he knows it’s a nightmare, there is still a heavy sense of unease in his body. akutagawa would feel short of breath, grasping at his shirt to calm down

• but when he sees that you aren’t in bed with him, he’s alarmed and finds himself rushing out of bed. he looks around the bedroom, the bathroom, the living room. when he finds you in the kitchen, he’s more relieved than he thought he’d be

“ryu?” you greet your lover in shock. cold sweat dribbled down the side of his face as he heaved, letting out a cough as you stepped closer.

it was almost 3 in the morning, and you were only up because you had the sudden urge to use the bathroom and get yourself some water.

“what’s wrong? tell me.”

• i see him as the type to just pretend nothing is wrong, meaning he’d say he’s fine and try to head back to the bedroom. you are faster to act, however, meaning that he wasn’t going anywhere without telling you what happened

• he’d react rather harshly, probably smacking your hand away by reflex if you tried to get a hold of him. though, he’d quickly apologize because he knows it’s wrong of him to do that

• getting akutagawa to confess will take persistence from you. he’s stubborn, so getting him to change his mind wouldn’t be so easy

• but once you get him to tell you everything, akutagawa feels a sense of relief. hold him close and tell him you won’t leave him because i feel like akutagawa would need that the most at the moment :((

SIGMA

• you ended up using sigma in his nightmare

• by organization after organization, sigma was always being used. although you wouldn’t dare to do the same, his nightmare led him to believe you did

• sigma was walking himself towards his office, knowing who was inside. but before he entered, he could hear your voice as you spoke with fyodor and nikolai

“oh, he’s wrapped around my little finger like the fool he is,” you laughed. “a desperate man who can’t remember things of his past is nothing. he’ll do anything i ask for specifically, so proceed with the plan.”

• hearing that come from you had broken his heart. he awoke with a loud gasp, and his movement managed to wake you up as well. his hands were buried in his uneven layers of hair, grasping them so tightly you were afraid they may fall off

• you have to pull his hands away before you ask what’s wrong. and when you do, sigma lowers his head in shame. he probably thinks it’s wrong for him to even imagine you doing that, even if that dream was out of his control

“it’s nothing, y/n,” sigma reassured you. “my mind is playing games, i know you wouldn’t do that.”

• sigma may say that, but it doesn’t stop the fear from being instilled into his veins. what if you do end up using him? what if he just becomes another pawn in someone else’s game? sigma hates to think that way, but he can’t help it

• in need to calm down, sigma would probably go outside for fresh air. let’s be honest, the casino man definitely has a balcony connected to his room

• when you join him, sigma is already staring at the night sky. it’s also probably cold, so bringing a little blanket over your shoulders wouldn’t hurt

• he’d probably ask what you’re doing outside with him, or tell you that you should go back to sleep. he doesn’t want to trouble you further, but we all know it doesn’t matter

“nothing’s going to be resolved if you don’t tell me what’s wrong,” you honestly told sigma. “if it’s about that dream… i hope you know i would never do anything like that.”

a flash of hesitation is seen on sigma’s face, and he lets out a quiet sigh, “what if you leave? what if… what if this is a dream? what happens when we wake up to reality?”

you stared at him in surprise, “you need to wake up. this, me and you, is reality.”

using the blanket you brought with you, you also wrap it around sigma before pulling him into an unexpected embrace. the dual-haired man grabs your waist on reflex, and the two of you stand like that for a while.

eventually, you take his hand and place it over your chest. beneath his slim fingers, sigma can feel the beating of your heart. his lips part at its quickened pace.

“my heart genuinely beats for you, sigma. please, don’t doubt it. the last thing i’d ever do is try to use you.”

• and that’s all it takes for sigma to lose it. crying or not, he hugs you like it’s your last :((

Akutagawa is the only person Atsushi’s told about his hallucinations (and the only person other than Lucy and Fitzgerald of all people to have an idea of how bad the abuse Atsushi suffered at the orphanage really was), but Ranpo, Dazai, and Kyouka are probably aware of them to various extents.

Ranpo is Ranpo and has probably noticed how Atsushi’s eyes will absently drift to empty spaces in the office sometimes before he comes back to himself and snaps his eyes back to his work. He may or may not have guessed the cause. If he has figured it out he doesn’t know what to do about it.

Kyouka lives with Atsu and Dazai is his mentor. There’s no way they haven’t noticed that something is wrong with him even if they don’t know what it is.

I can lose my temper a little too quickly but I am not vocal about it, I dont like to make noises while I'm angry, sad or overly happy.

But when I have someone I cherish -which is pretty rare- I can make them feel like they are the most important person of the world. I can't say it to their faces but I am comfortable while texting or when I don't look at their eyes directly. Nobody gets bored around me because I have interest for nearly everything and I'm okay with any suggestion they will come with.

I don't like to talk about my problems but I am a good listener. I don't listen only but can help them to find the solution as well.

So the main reason I matched you with him was because you have the same interests and likes (It's not like other characters don't enjoy it, but it's not as mush as Akutagawa does). Akutagawa is really into art (any type of it, but mostly drawing since he's a pro at it), so he would definitely enjoy going to art galleries, like you do. Sure, he's more comfortable with spending time with his s/o at home, but I can definitely see him going to museums, art galleries and book stores. BTW you have my respect if you get him to go shopping with you lol. He will be really helpful tho, you know what I mean if you've watched BSD Wan; and if you haven't? Well, I assure you, you won't be having any trouble carrying all the bags. Rashoumoun will take care of it.

Akutagawa needs encouragement, A LOT. The man has literally Zero confidence and self steam due to abandonment issues (All Dazai's fault tbh) so it would mean a lot and also really helpful if you encourage him over doing stuff. I mean he cares about your opinion a lot cause you and Gin are the most important people to him; so it would definitely make him feel better.

Becoming his s/o takes a lot of effort. Akutagawa has his guard on, and even won't open up to his sister about some stuff; so he needs someone who he can interact with without having to worry about them telling others or thinking lowly of them. It would take you a lot of time to reach that level where he trusts you enough to show his feelings toward you. I mean it will take him a long time to even realize them and accept them... Overall, patience is the key.

I think he would ask your opinion about almost anything since you don't seem to mind it and as I said before, you and your opinion are important to him. He just wants everything- especially himself- to be perfect in your eyes; so your opinion matters to him more than you think.

If he ever talked to you about Dazai... Just know that the man trusts you with his life. literally. Ooh and never bring Dazai up unless he really wants to talk about it. It reminds him all his insecurities.

Akutagawa is not one to talk much tbh. Even if he's that comfortable around you. His love language is Acts of service and he tries to show your value to him by doing meaningful things.

It would be nice to hear you adore him though, the man would furiously blush while having butterflies in his stomach when hearing you saying how much he means to you or how much deeply you're in love with him. Doesn't matter if you do it over text or without making eye contact, But if you do it while looking into his eyes, The man would melt.

Do I need to say that this man literally memorizes everything you say. Even the most random things or the things that you've only said once is always on his mind.

You seem like you can get along with a lot of people, and it would mean a lot to him if Gin is considered as those people as well <3 Gin is his most important.
