Okay time to finally talk about the boiling isles/The Titan/Kings Dad!

And why I love him and hes been a character of the show the whole time.

We first really "meet" the titan when Eda shows us the beauty of the boiling isles at the start of the show

Just a dead carcass, right? Thats how it seems at first but over the show we learn that the titan is magic! That the magic around Luz comes from the Titan! Now here is where the Titans character first really shines. He gives Luz the spell! And literally gives her a clue to make the connection!

Now we think that this just happened randomly because she really listened to the nature. But since we now know that the Titan was actually there, seeing and listening to everything, this was a choice he made! Notice how Luz saw the light glyph in the sky after she spoke directly to the Titan.

Luz: "youre supposed to teach me magic...."

And afterwards it starts to snow, revealing the glyph to Luz!

Afterwards in more episodes, and especially in season two we learn that the habitants of the boiling islands worship the titan. The question of course is if they always did this in the first place or if Philip was the one who convinced them that the titan is some sort of god. I think they always kind of worshipped the titan since it was important for Philip to earn the islanders trust and so he used an already established deity that was wroshipped by the witches.

Witch on screen: "he says he can talk to the Titan!"

Witches on the island constantly refer to the Titan like we do refer to god when we express worry or doubt or if we just wonder what is going on. ("Oh my Titan" "For Titans sake" "In the Titans name" etc)

And those graffiti. Sure they were most likely added to be jokes. But those jokes only work because it is established before that the witches of the islands see the Titan as a god!

Also see how Eda and Lilith react when they find out King is a titan!

Lilith: "I cant believe that all this time you had a titan under your roof! - GASP - Ive eaten ice cream with a god!"

The Titan didnt choose to be worshipped. But he chose to tell Luz the glyphs and how and where to find them. And he chose to not tell Philip about them!

Philip: "Took years to find them. Almost as if the world wanted to hide them from me."

Another instance that showed or hinted at that the Titan was still there, alive and watching out for King was when the wind gently brushed the swing he was sitting on in "Clouds on the horizons"

And - of course - something that got kinda overlooked by all of us, the GIGANT still beating heart in the throne room!

But we also learn that Titans themselves were crazy powerful. So powerful that they were the only ones who were strong enough against the collectors powers! Their blood is literally the cause of Luz being able to cast magic in the first place! Because of them and well because of the boiling isles Titan things from the human world wash up there constantly. Because they create those rifts.

So what did we learn? We learnt that the Titan is a big being that was crazy powerful and was worshipped by the witches on the boling isles. We also learnt that he has sort of a character of his own and may or may not be still around.

And THEN..... we actually meet the guy!

Basically in his pyjamas, what he is wearing is also basically merch from the show. The "bad girl coven" shirt and the glyph sweatpants. Thats something any nerd from the show would want to wear. He has a dad bod and the first thing he does is making a joke to Luz about himself. Yes he is wise and does give Luz a lot of advice and her crazy powers, showing that he is very powerful even when he is trapped in the inbetween. But he never considers himself better than Luz or anyone else on the isles. He is very down to earth!

Also the reveal that they dont take gender that serious but is totally fine with the title "dad" cuz thats what King has been calling him the whole time. All while he chuckles!

The Titan: "What? Have you been drinking Edas home brewed apple blood?"

When Luz presents them the idea that she "might just be as bad as Belos" he immediately asks her if shes serious about that in a joking manner.

And, of course, the cherry on top for all of this, is the one direct message they could send to their child. The only thing The Titan could EVER tell directly to King! And what is it?

King: "... I loaf you...? I loaf you!"

King: "... Oh hahaha! BREAD pun!"

Its a DAD joke! And King loves it!

I think none of us really knew who the Titan was and if hed ever show up ever on screen. (Honestly I myself thought its more likely that we would see Evylin and Caleb.) But whatever our idea from the Titan mightve been, Im sure no one of us thought it would be like this. The Titan turned out to be just some guy. Just a being that happend to slip into all of this mess. I think we can all learn from that that some things arent as big as they seem (literally.)

This reveal was awesome and I love that the show took this route with him.

what was that weird thing philip did to make the scar disappear? was it a hybrid of illusion magic or something, as it did reappear later?

that was a wicked stunt luz pulled on philip, making only the glove invis mustve taken serious concentration

hunter protecting willow from falling rocks was so fricken cute

woooow, philip, tryna manipulate hunter WHILE youre fighting is low, even for you, also it is confirmed! caleb is the name of philip’s brother

ok ok, so king’s dad trapped the collector, and now king’s emblem can make him invisible from them? so king’s dad knew that the collector was a threat, even to A TITAN, which is very concerning, to say the least

really random thing but now eda only has one arm?? and they treated it so casually???

ok there goes the collecluz theory, as cool as it was, but also the collector looks AWESOME and people are already going straight to ‘i believe in collector supremacy’ which i think is a bit brash, considering, yknow, THEM???

sooooooo…rip philip! yikes, thats a scary show of power. BUT HUNTER’S FACE??!!??!?!?!?!?!! I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO FEEL???

The Egg

This is my fan made story of the owl house the character and setting are #Luz, #Amity, #King, #Eda, #Edric, #Emira, #Willow, #Gus, #Lillith, #Hooty, #Amity parents, #Belos, #Principal Bump, and #boscha this story is a romance/action/conflict/and sad one ok read if you want I'll do some art but note not the best at it ok this is just a draft of it y'all hope you will enjoy

Hexside Awaits

Chapter 3

As Lus and Eda get up from finishing watching the sun rise. They headed inside to start their day and the young witch apprentice whent to her room to get her school uniform on. Eda got a cup of apple blood and rested on the couch by King. Luz was about to walk out the door before remembering about the egg. Luz then rushed to her room to get the egg.

“Ok I almost forgot about the egg.” as she entered her room talking to herself.

She looked at the egg and noticed the egg color was more vibrant than it was. It also was warmer than before. She then picks up the egg and tries to figure out how she can take it to school. At that moment the egg glowed a little and began to shrink half the size it was. Luz was surprised what just happened but now it fit in her backpack then she rushed to the door again.

“Bye Eda, Bye King see you guys later.” waving at them as she leaves the house.

“Bye kiddo be safe.” Eda said while waving.

King was still asleep and did not hear her. As Luz left the house Hooty said his goodbye to her. Luz then ran to the front of the school to see her friends waiting for her.

“Hey Willow, Hey Gus!” Luz yelled.

“Hi Luz!” Willow and Gus said.

They came into a big hug. They started to talk about what they did over the weekend as they headed inside. Luz saw Amity at her locker with a pink note in her hand.

“Hi Amity!” Luz said to Amity.

This took the young witch by surprise which she placed the note in her pocket.

“Hi Luz.” Amity said back with a blush.

“What did you do over the weekend Amity anything fun?”

“Ooh me nothing really fun. what about you?”

But before the human could tell her friend. Boscha came and took her bag from Luz.

“Oh what weird and stupid human stuff is in her?” dead eye looking at Luz

Luz tried to tell her what was in it but then Boscha and the bag fell to the floor. This surprised Luz and her friend. Why did Luz bag get so heavy? Then Luz remembered the egg in the bag was the egg ok after that fall. Boscha let go of the bag and then tried to lift it up.

“Come on lift you dum bag.” as she tries to lift it up.

Amity was getting mad at her for taking Luz bag. This alarmed Boscha so she let go of the bag and left.

“Hmm I don't care about that dum human stuff.” Boscha said while walking away.

This surprised Willow, Gus, Luz, and Amity.

“So what just happened to Luz bag?” Gus asks his friend.

“I don't really know what happened to be honest?” Luz said.

“It looks like someone used a spell on your bag Luz.” Willow said.

“Well I didn't and who else will do that or can do that here?” Ask Amity

“I can't.” Willow, Gus, and Luz said.

“Hmmmm.” Amity thinking.

But before she said anything Willow whent to get Luz bag for but she could not lift it. Gus notices this and he tries to buy the same fate share. Amity is still trying to figure out why they can’t pick up the bag. Then Luz walks over and picks it up with no problem this confuses Amity.

“How did you pick it up easily while everyone had trouble?” ask Amity.

“I just walk over and pick it up with nothing else.” Luz said.

Boscha was observing them afar and she was mad at Luz for embarrassing her. She storms off thinking on how to get even with her.

“Hey Luz what is in your bag that is heavy?” Gus ask

Before the human can answer her friend the bell rings. They look at each other and agree to meet at lunch. They all headed to their class hour and waited for lunch. The egg in Luz bag got hotter and it shook a little but Luz didn't notice. As the day goes Luz can't stop thinking of her friends and she can feel Boscha looking at her. Finally after four and a half hours the lunch bell rang. Luz rushed to get her backpack and meet her friends outside. But before she got outside Boscha grabbed Luz and dragged her to the grudby court.

“Ow Boscha what are you doing?” Luz asked.

“Getting payback for earlier,”Boscha said.

“Why I did nothing to you at all?”

“Don't play dum on me you use a wight spell on you backpack.” Boscha said angrily.

Luz was confused about what she meant by that but before she noticed she was on the grudby field. Boscha threw Luz to the ground and cast a binding spell on her to stop her from running away. Boscha got one of her friends to give a letter to Luz's friend.

“Here take this to Willow, Gus, and Amity ok.” Boscha said

Back to Luz’s friend who is waiting for Luz to show up to chat.

“Where is Luz? She should be here by now.” Gus said.

“I agree with Gus she should be here. I'm worried.” Willow said

“Do you guys want to go look for her or wait?” ask Amity

They all were talking when one of Boscha's friends threw the note and hit Willow with it. Luckily it didn't hurt her, just surprised her Amity saw the paper ball and picked it up. She then unwrap the ball and read it aloud so Willow and Gus can hear.

“If you want to save your friend meet me at the grudby field and save her and if you dont we will have our sweet time with her from Boscha.” Amity readed the note

The note made Amity blood boil with anger. Willow and Gus were mad and worried for Luz safety as well.

“Well what are we doing standing here let save Luz.” Gus yelled out.

“Yea Luz helped all of us in the past, it's our time to do it.” Willow said determanly.

“Yea let save Luz !” Amity shouted.

As they ran to the field they saw Luz pin to the ground her bag in front of her and Boscha standing by Luz with a Magic Hammer. Amity fears for the worst and Willow and Gus determan to save Luz.

“So you guys came to save your friend hmm.” Boscha asks.

“Yes we are here to save her and why are you doing this in the first place.” Amity asks.

“Oh this is payback for what she did in the hallway this morning.”

Amity thinks real hard then it hits her the backpack that what she is mad about.

“You are still mad at that thing with the backpack from earlier that is so childish.” Amity joking at Boscha.

Boscha got mad and lifted the hammer up in a slam stance.

“I might not be able to really hurt Luz but I can destroy what she loves second in line.”

“No, don't do anything to my backpack.” Luz yelled.

Boscha lifts the hammer and adds a heavy spell to the end and strikes Luz's backpack. It was silent then the hammer broke into pieces. This confused Boscha and she saw the backpack unharm other than a button. The bag top open and the egg rolled out of the bag.

“What is going on, why is the bag and everything still here? And why do you have a rock in your bag dum human. ” Boscha ask

“That is not a rock, it's an egg. I was going to tell my friends about it but you drag me here.” Luz said.

Then the sky was getting darker and darker then lightning struck by the egg. This caught the girls off guard. Amity was nervus for Luz she drew a circle to summon her abomination to get Luz. When the abomination was summoned it instantly vanished.

“What is happening? I can use magic here.” Amity asked Willow and gus.

“I think that rock has something to do with this weather.” Willow said.

Amity nodded and she ran towards the rock to stop it. She dodge lighting and hail to get to it. She tries to pick up the rock but it won't budge. The young witch tries to figure out why it won't budge then she remembers it was in Luz bag only she can move it. Amity made her way to the pin human to get her help but Boscha was walking away with her as well.

“Stop!” Amity yelled at Boscha.

Boscha looks back and Amity pushes Boscha down and unties Luz. Then she ties up Boscha for payback.

“Luz are you ok?” Amity ask

“I am now thanks Amity.” Luz said with a smile

Both the girls know what must be done. Luz walked towards the egg to stop it. When Luz touches it the storm barely stops but not fully. Then Amity came by Luz to touch the egg then the storm stopped and both of them were relieved. But they saw Principal Bump standing in front of them looking around at what happened.

“I want you Luz, Amity, Willow, and Gus to follow me.” Principal Bump said while walking.

Luz and her friends follow him to the school fearing what is going to happen to them all. And leaving Boscha tied up on the field.

Chapter 3 end I hope you enjoy it I left it on a cliff hanger because I have to stop my self AND im making it into chapter 4 and 5 you will learn more about the egg in these coming up chapter thanks for the small love if you want to reblog this and spread it to your friends please do and bye for now.
