Saw a dog not on a leash and without its owner, followed it for 10 minutes thinking it would lead me to its owner, I am very scared of dogs

Woke up, no idea why, later saw my spotify stopped on a song called Good morning sunshine, paused like 10 seconds in, no further question

Attempted to introduce Guizmo to a nail clipper, she did NOT care for that

Saw Guizmo doing the "I Am Going To Throw Up" move on her cat tree, panicked because I'd just cleaned it, called her name, she looked up and threw up on me instead

In case you're wondering, I was wearing a onesie with a shirt, yes it was open, yes it went to the washing mashine, yes it was OPEN

Realised I booked two therapy appointments for the same day but not at the same time, did not cancel any of them, gonna be a fun wednesday

Found out the name of the miniature centipedes I seem live with, they're actually kinda cute, wish they'd pay rent though

Guizmo wouldn't move from in front of my screen, thought I was gonna have to play some very uncomfortable games

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!
