hotel wip???

#idk i havent built in a while but i renovated a hotel build off the gallery and the synapses started firing so i started to build my own #i stopped building bc i suck ass at exteriors its embarassing i just dk how to make things symetrical and then rooms end up too small BUT #im doing ok so far there's 4 two bed rooms nd 2 single bed rooms and then two “penthouse” suites #also i havent playtested yet so dont get too attatched but also im kinda excited to play w/ this! #idk what mod it's from but the rental (shared) lot type works so well w/ hotels i will say it is laggy tho so be wary of that #also umm i hv w*ckedwhms now um that mod is... a lot esp w/ hotels but i guess it's kinda accurate?? it's fun to snoop on sims #s #wip #not tagging this bc i dont wanna let ppl down if i end up not finishing im unemployed so i really should be doing more productive things #but oh well :p

I made Tim and Ashes in the sims (specially as hades and persephone). This is all well and good except i gave them a fire place because Ashes and Tim keeps lighting himself on fire.

are you ready for my controversial take of the day??? i really wish popular cc creators who make constantly broken/bad/low quality cc would be called out more often tbh. i know making cc isn't easy and mistakes happen to the best of us, i really do, but also some creators make THOUSANDS of dollars per month on patreon and they constantly release bad cc and it just doesn't seem fair to their patrons that their stuff doesn't even work properly. like sometimes it feels like they don't even test their cc in game before releasing it, you know, and it rly sucks.

like i said i understand that mistakes happen, but when there's constantly something wrong with it, it just feels like scamming people, tbh.

i live here with the love of my life or whatever!!! we’ve been watching starstruck and playing BG3. in the past week, i’ve made chocolate chip cookies with pretzel bits, a seedy whole wheat bread, pesto with my own basil, rosemary garlic flatbreads, banana-bread-spice-cake, lemon garlic chicken soup. it might get cool enough to open the windows this week. we’re hosting a board game night with friends in a couple days. we are talking about maybe adopting a wee beastie. this is good. 💗

#it’s a big two bedroom and i had the initially controversial but brilliant idea to #make the ‘living room’ the dining room and the ‘second bedroom’ the den #so the big kitchen table is the hearth of the main living space and movie nights are so so cozy! #and the ‘dining room’/breakfast nook is a reading/study space #it’s such a good setup i love it! #and this apartment is kinda old (but recently renovated) and it’s got so many weird angles and quirks but in a cute charming way #like how in the sims weird shaped spaces improve your sim’s environmental happiness #anyway #eventually we’ll put more stuff on the walls too #there’s also a wet bar. we filled it with board games. #and oh oh the balcony faces southeast so my bbs get SO much sun my malabar spinach is THRIVING 💚 #also also Books is suuuch a good housemate bless #i haven’t had to clean the bathroom once since we’ve been here #also also every friday can be… you know 😌

making gene’s house in animal crossing is so interesting,,,, the front part where he has brunch with lys sometimes is decently tidy, a normal kitchen with an espresso machine and a toaster and a rice cooker, of course paperwork stacked neatly on the table, a world map and a bulletin board, a photo of him with the other Champions and one of him with his family,,,, there are two lamps and an air conditioner that I didn’t realize were there and I moved a hallway to make more sense. there are sticky notes all over his fridge because of course there are 🥲

what’s also interesting is that he has two cabinets with League papers and reference books, but also two with various tchotchkes -- where did he get them?? what kinds of things does he collect -- are they things that he just got as gifts or did they come with the house?

also, now that I’ve filled the yard and house with plants (for his grass-type starters), I considered giving him a little pond outside -- and then remembered that the ocean is literally his backyard. there is so much water there.

EDIT: OH MY GOD...... OF COURSE HE HAS BOWLING ALLEY CARPET IN HIS ROOM. HE WOULD 😔😔😔
