Chapter 2 just solidified my love for Ash even more, already thinking up a marriage proposal for them, gotta make it as grand as their existence 😔

Also Az is such a damn riot and I love them so much for that, the banter with them and Os had me cackling so much (If given the chance I think Os would have strangled them for being so chatty 😭), Os seems like someone I’d like to further know (and partially because their comments to Az is funny to me) and perhaps we’ll see more of them during the party (and hopefully nothing happens if MC’s so called “friends” are there….)

And Laz is such a cutie like 🥰, don’t worry Laz, your painting skills are top tier I bet! Love how they’re just there saying their paintings aren’t all that good but I remember hearing a certain well known painter praising that art of yours, Laz 👀

And the way Az mentioned Ezer n Os’ clan dynamic but does say Vez’s name…👀. Kinda curious about that now cause out of all of them Vez’s perhaps the one I know least and that’s my fault for always choosing Ash’s options, probably, or the fact they’re meant to be as distant as that?? I don’t know but either way I love them just as much as the rest of the ROs

And the talks of this “her” has caught my attention and I can’t wait for more information to come out about MC’s situation and the fact none of the shadows have ever spoken to the MC unless they speak the them until this very moment?? Something is about to happen and I don’t think the MC can ever fully escape what’s to come

even though i said i wasn't going to, i ended up shiny hunting for an all-shiny team to play through the new pokemon scarlet teal mask dlc! :D meet aske the gallade, chiyoh the sinistcha, syrup the dipplin, laz the munchlax, marrow the mandibuzz aaaand crossbun the heracross! i love this lil gang so much and am so hype to progress further in the actual plot now dkfldskg

i'm gonna ramble about how each of my hunts for these pkmn went under the cut! :3c there'll be no plot spoilers because i have pretty much only scratched the surface of that!

ok so... syrup the dipplin was the first shiny that i collected for this team! i got her in a random applin outbreak a few weeks before the dlc dropped. i wasn't sure what to evolve her into (or if to just keep her as an applin), so i ended up procrastinating on that... but i realized that she was the perfect candidate for my teal mask team, since dipplin is a brand new pkmn. i generally don't keep track of encounters during outbreaks, but she showed up really fast! i was worried that i'd miss her since applin is SO small, and it's also green so it tends to blend into the grass ;_; either way, i caught her in a luxury ball o7

the second shiny i got was laz the munchlax! munchlax has been a dream shiny of mine so i was extremely hype to take this hunt on. ik it's on the more subtle side, but i think the rich, darker blue is really cute on munchlax, and a shiny is a shiny, u know? i started it off in pkmn shield a few days before the dlc dropped, since the pkmn twitter posted a screenshot with a munchlax in it hehe. i decided to try for a moon ball munchlax via the masuda method (somehow i have a TON of special apricorn pokeballs in shield?!?! we were eatin good back then wtf). i ended up going over-odds in shield for munchlax the NIGHT that the dlc dropped... i'm not sure about the exact number, but i was definitely over 512. once that happened, i transfered the parent snorlax over to scarlet and resumed the hunt over there, since i figured it'd be more fun to explore the new region as i hatched eggs. i hatched roughly 150 more of them before laz hatched on egg 668! (i also got the item finder mark on him, so his full title is 'laz the treasure hunter' - sooo cute. ;_;)

after laz, i decided to try for some more outbreak shinies, since i thought those would be quick and easy. by full odds standards, they totally were!!! but by outbreak standards, i def faced... a few little challenges! LDFGKD;GK

the morning after the dlc dropped, i had a ralts outbreak so i figured i'd go for another dream shiny of mine - gallade. that'd mean finding a male ralts, since gallade is gender-specific. i tried to hunt for a male ralts back in legends arceus and ended up finding a female one as well as a female kirlia, so i figured that i'd have some better luck in another game. i ended up finding FIVE more female ralts before finally getting a male one as ralts #8. i caught him in a net ball and named him 'aske' after a character in the dnd campaign that i'm in with my friends!! iykyk!!! LSDKFDSLKG but i really do enjoy catching pkmn that are themed after other characters so i'm totally thrilled to have this gallade!!! ;v;

shortly after nabbing aske, i got marrow the mandibuzz during a vullaby outbreak! this shiny was such a standard fun little outbreak shiny - i knocked out around 60 vullabies and she turned up very quickly after that. i think if you have the teal mask dlc and enjoy outbreak shiny hunting, the paradise barrens portion of the map is gonna be really, really good for them, since theres barely anything to obscure the pkmn that are outbreaking (and there's no grass, so there's like, no lag at all LMFAO). i caught the beloved lil birdy in a luxury ball.

after marrow came home so fast, i was emboldened, so i started my hunt for chiyoh the sinistcha(/poltchageist). i decided to see if i could get an artisan poltchageist outbreak to trigger, since, at the time, there were rumours about all-artisan outbreaks - and i suceeded in doing so!!! but then i couldn't find a shiny like... at all... to the point that i was genuinely wondering if it was glitched or something. i hunted in it for a full day and by that point i was like, Convinced that something was wrong, so i ended up giving up on that outbreak. i now realize that the shiny is REALLY subtle, though, so it's possible that i walked right past SEVERAL and didn't know... but i was being ridiculously careful when i hunted it, so i'm honestly not sure about that. anyway, while i was looking for the shiny poltchageist, i phased on TWO different heracrosses. i love heracross' shiny SO MUCH that i succumbed and decided to add one to my team! and that heracross ended up being named crossbun!

by that time, i decided that i didn't really care about having an artisan or counterfeit version of the poltchageist shiny (and tbh i kinda agree with the notion that artisan outbreaks sort of ruin the appeal of hunting down a rare forme), so i ended up doing a few encounter power sandwiches instead. when i finally ran into the shiny, it was huge relief LMAO. chiyoh was my 6th team member, so, with that, my teal mask team was complete! o7

i gave everyone mints, hyper trained them and ev trained them (using lots of mochi from the new ogre oustin' game hehe) and they're now ready to take on the plot! ik that it's definitely not all that necessary to build a team from scratch for the dlc but i had a blast doing it. the time i spent gathering these pals and exploring kitakami was really special. i'm definitely planning on doing this again for the indigo disc dlc!

Hmmm. Someone else asked about call the police, and now i wanna ask about birb in heat and unexpected mercy 👀👀 hehe - laz

Uh birb in heat, this one's been sitting in my WIPs for a while... So, it goes that Dick is young-ish (early 20) and is a Beta, while Robin!Jason just presented as a little Alpha. Basically there's this human trafficking ring that is causing Batman and the others huge problems, so they come up with the plan of using Dick as bait: they gather enough evidence to realize that these guys plan to take one of the "Wayne kids", and so Dick decides to get himself abducted while wearing the special Bat-lenses that film everything and send it directly to the batcomputer (despite Jason's insistence that he should be the one getting kidnapped since he's an Alpha and yada yada, and he's always been fiercely protective of Dick despite being so much younger, but Dick and Bruce won't budge anyway).

Everything goes according to plan except that the leader of the paid armed force for the traffickers is Slade, who obviously recognizes Dick on the spot, but instead of outing him then and there he takes him aside with an excuse and tells him to stay put and wait for rescue, and that he'll be around to make sure Dick won't be hurt more than necessary (but also that he won't compromise his employer in any meaningful way). The problem is that Dick isn't actually a Beta - he has a very rare hormonal disposition which make him a "late blooming Omega" if we want to call it that, and he has his presentation heat right in the middle of the "mission". Slade is not going to let anyone touch him though.

(yes, through all of this Dick is still wearing the special lenses from before :3)

Unexpected Mercy as you can surmise is a prompt, and it was indeed a failed try for one of the prompts of the Sladerobin Week 2022 (so this one is like. REALLY old lol). So Dick and Damian are in a very tight spot. Worn out by hours and hours of fighting and hiding and trying to escape an Arkham City-like situation, in which they infiltrated but are now having a hard time leaving.

Eventually they get cornered, Slade is there for collateral reasons but no one really dares mess with him, and he realizes that if he doesn't do something it's going to be really bad for both the kids. He manages to step in right when Dick is found, and after some degree of negotiation he declares that he's going to "teach them a lesson himself", essentially to avoid them a gangrape, a beating to death and/or whatever other horrible thing an angry mob of enraged thugs might do to two cute little vigilantes who sent a considerable number of them to the hospital. But it's not like Slade can just walk away with them, whatever he does it has to be acceptable for said angry mob of enraged thugs, but he also doesn't actually want to hurt them yk?

I was thinking that it could be a humiliation/forced incest situation, with Slade thinking that for the kids this would be more acceptable than being raped by a stranger or tortured (and he doesn't realize just how bad it still is). The Unexpected Mercy aspect of this is that the fic is entirely from Dick's pov, so he expects way worse from Slade and doesn't immediately realize that the man is actively trying to help, but anyway I never managed to settle on something precise and so I ended up dropping the story and writing something equally fucked up instead for Sladerobin Week lmao.

Thank u for that response I only just started following u and the idea that Cas would bring trans dean back in the “””right””” body is so gross to me as a transmasc person....I’m not interested in being cisnormative and that type of storyline is just....like it’s not this universal trans experience to “feel like ur in the wrong body” like that’s not how I feel! I’m in the wrong societal construct or whatever and the dysphoria I feel is 95% bc of how society makes me think masculinity should be (5% is aesthetic hehe want hairy body 😈) but yeah......trans bodies aren’t inherently wrong or defective and the changes we make to them doesn’t mean what was there before was a mistake.

What would Sael and Laz think of my caretaker Mateo? He’s a dragon that can turn into a human and also grew up spending a lot of time in the human world. He is very tough and strong and so many people are very scared of him, so it was easy to get the frightened whumpees to come home with him and let him take care of them. Basically a mean dragon who had a secret soft side.

He seems interesting hehe I rlly like dragons

Laz would be very, very, very intimidated. He already feels small because of how normal he is on a world that is mostly magical, even if in small ways. Because in their society there is a social structure that puts in top people with stronger magic, a literal dragon would be also seen as a really important/noble person, so Laz would be very very respectful/polite as to not embarrass Miss Charlotte and the family that took him in. The idea of Mateo disapproving/disliking of him socially would be more scary to him even than the physical threat, so he would try to please him as much as he could.

Sael is mostly just very calm/bland around everyone and tries not to cast judgment, especially since most of his interactions occur on a place where people are at their most vulnerable, so at first glance he would just accept Mateo’s presence without thinking much about him. He is also very hard to intimidate, so he wouldn’t really feel scared even seeing how strong/powerful Mateo is or his dragon form. If he caught Mateo in the process of intimidating/frightening whumpees he would likely stand up to him, although after learning that he is doing this so he can take care of them later, he would be way more chill about it and even begin to sympathize. He would also be very curious about the biological/psychological ways Mateo differs from humans and how is their dragon culture like.

Onew

pearl farming mermaid

his clan of mermaids is known for being keepers of the shells - which refers to oysters, clams, conchs, etc.

his tail is the color of seaweed, a shiny dark green and his scales create a pretty curve up to his hips

he has rather large gills compared to other mermaids because he goes extremely deep to search for pearls

his family is said to be the “glowing eyes” mermaids for if you find them at that deep their eyes give off a yellow gleam

but he is such a sweetheart of a mermaid,,,,,like he isn’t some greedy hoarding pearl farmer

he actually really enjoys making jewelry for other mermaids to wear with pearls

he has his own, the pink conch pearl his mother made him and that he’s worn since he was young

and when mermaids come asking for something pretty - he’s more than happy to make it

younger mermaids sometimes think his tail is a long eel and get scared of it and he’s like TT why do kids not like me and taemin is like because you look like a big water snake im sorry but its true jkjkjk

and u sometimes take your boat out near this place that has a lot of oysters there,,,but when you dive to go look at them

ur not like,,,,,,trying to harvest them or whatever - you just like looking at them because they’re pretty

tbh you just like the animals and plants of the ocean ur just there to see them

and onew has noticed you,,,,,he’s had to hide a couple of times when you come around to just roam

and ur the first no-tail (what they call humans) that like,,,,,doesnt come here to take his oysters

which is like,,,,,,,confusing because you just seem to enjoy swimming around

and after a while he decides he’d like to try something

so he makes you a bracelet of pearls and leaves it in a spot he knows u like to see if ull be tempted

but,,,,,as usual you come by - pick it up - but then leave it there,,,,

even though onew is sure something like that must be a lot of money in the no-tail world above

and he keeps planting all these pretty pearls and whatnot but you never take anything from the ocean and one day

as you’re swimming back up to your boat

and getting in and taking your diving gear off

you feel your boat rock and all of a sudden you see a person, their arms resting on the side of your boat

and ur like ?? hello are you ok are you stuck in the water do you need help ??

and it’s onew he just drops the chain of pearls into your boat and nudges them toward you and you’re like ???

and he’s like “gift,,,,,,,” and you’re like for me???? why??? have we met??? i dont know any other divers around here

and onew is like “do you like it?” and ur like well pearls are pretty sure but who are you -

and onew is just like,,,,, “they’re yours”

and with that he falls back into the water and you’re about to panic

but then you see his tail raise up out of the water and you’re left SPEECHLESS

because was that handsome mermaid the one,,,,leaving pretty pearls for you?????

onew returns to his people and everyone is like ,,,,,,, this is impossible but why is his face so red

shark mermaid

his clan of mermaids is supposedly the rowdy bunch,,,,,,the bad boys of the sea if you will

because unlike usual mermaids,,,,their teeth are super sharp and their tails are coarse like shark skin

they also can hunt bigger prey than normal mermaids and are always said to be making a mess of their food everywhere

lots of mermaids don’t like them,,,,,,which makes lovable and personable minho really sad

because he just wants to help and use his shark-strength for good,,,,,,but no one wants him around

and smiling with those huge teeth,,,,,,not a good way to impress people apparently

except you,,,,,,,who happens to be the only person in the world who’d meet a shark-merman and be completely and utterly in love

it happens when you’re fishing and you put wAY too much bait onto your tiny little hook

and instead of pulling up a fish,,,,you pull up minho

which almost makes you pass out until you realize what he is (not a person whose body you just discovered - but a poor merman who now has a hook caught in his mouth)

and youre like oh no open up so i can get it out

and he does and you’re like OH TEETH

and hes like “sowry,,,theywe,,,,scawy” (the hooks making him speak al funky)

and you’re like no no no they’re cool just open up and please promise not to chomp my hand off

and he’s like nodding and you get in there and get the hook out and you’re like all good

and he’s blushing because ofc he got,,,,,,,caught on a FISHING line of all things

but you’re just like wow wow so many questions are you like actually part shark wow wow what kind of shark can i see your teeth again

and poor minho is all flustered,,,,no one has ever showed so much interest in him

and you’re just buzzing with this cute sparkle in your eye

like do mermaids brush their teeth???? is that thing for you guys??? omg

and he’s like huh whats that

and ur like O M G and you show him your toothbrush on your boat and he’s like huh do i eat it

and ur like no no no u clean ur teeth with it

and he’s like how and ur trying to explain it and minho’s like OH to get those parts of the fish out of your back teeth that get stuck there right

and ur like what but ur like yES

and it’s cute you teaching shark man minho how to brush his teeth

and promising you’ll come visit him with more funky human products

and minho is like cant believe,,,,,,the person who isnt scared of me is tiny adorable human,,,,,,,

pirate mermaid

used to be part of a clan of mermaids who harvested coral and seaweed but that sort of life got boring so one day he just decided to swim to another part of the ocean

and,,,,kind of began a life of thievery

which he did at first to like survive but now he just sees ships passing by that have cargo and treasure and he’s like

might as well use the whole “mermaids are scary creatures” myth to my advantage

he also,,,,,might have learned a thing or two from siren mermaids - because as vicious as he can come off with ringed red eyes and sharp mermaid teeth

he can also make himself QUITE appealing to sailors ,,,,,,, with his pretty orange scales and golden hued gills

but yeah no he’s only after their goods

especially enjoys finding gems and jewels and anything he can adorn himself with

wears cuffed golden earrings and has some scarring from fights he’s gotten into (which he’s won)

you’re a cabin hand on this ship that’s supposed to be transporting all this art and stuff to europe for a show

and to be honest you hate your job - because most of the sailors are always rowdy and rude to you

and you’re the one left cleaning up their messes

so when they dock for the night on this tiny little island, you’re the one left with clean up duty

and you’re sweeping around the edge of the boat when you hear a soft voice

and you turn around to see someone’s grabbed a hold of the boat

and at first you think it’s some drunk person swimming at night and ur like uhhhhhhh hello do u need a hand

and they just pop their head out and smile

and ,,,,,,, woah theyre cute but uh,,,,,,,,,,,what are they doing in the dark water

and he’s just like “oh i dont need help, but this is the ship that’s got,,,,,all that fancy art on it right?”

and you’re like .,,,,,,,,,yeah?

and he’s like mind if,,,,,,,,,,i look at some of it

and ur like i dont think im allowed to do that and he lifts his body up a little and you catch a glimpse of his waist

which is,,,,,,naked,,,,,,,and not connected to a pair of legs

but a big, glimmering tail

and ur like hold up wait wait wait ur a mermaid

and the boy is like oh silly me i guess i let the human see my tail!!!! but yes im a mermaid and im scary so move aside or ill um eat you

and ur like,,,,,,,,,,,,mermaids dont eat people

and key is like furrowing his eyebrows like u dont know that how many mermaids have you met in ur life

and ur just like i dont think u could eat me ur kinda skinny

and key is like HEY .,,,,,,,,,true but still give me some of the stuff on this boat or ill just have to take it from you by forc-

and ur like ok i hate my job anyway wait here

and u go into the back pick some random stuff and just throw it overboard like here ya go

and key just blinks like,,,,,,,,um this is now how it usually works

and ur like its fine. itll be fun watching some of the idiots get in trouble when we get to europe

and instead of swimming off with the goods, key rests his hands on the edge of ur boat and hes like hey,,,,,,if u hate your job just runaway

and ur like and what become a pirate

and key grins like i did it. its worked out nice for me

and ur like yeah but ur ,,,,uve got the looks and the cool mermaid powers

key laughs at that, but reaches out to take your hand and ur like /??? and he slips one of the gold bracelets he has on to your wrist and hes like

it should be worth a lot of human money. go. run off and start a better life

and ur like w,,,,what i mean,,,,,,thanks i mean,,,,

and you look down and key is like well i have to go,,,,rob some more people and stuff but i hope we can meet again

and ur like wait wait,,,,,,,,,can i come with you

and he’s like ur not a mermaid- and ur like no no i mean ,,,,, what if we just take this whole boat right now. its full of precious art. why not

and key grins and lifts himself up a little to be at eye level with u

and suddenly ur a little nervous,,,,but also embarrassed

and he’s like human,,,,i like the way you think

scavenging fierce pirates,,,,,but also cute human and mermaid who fall in love hehe

Taemin

seahorse mermaid

a super rare type of mermaid whose lower body resembles that of a leafy sea dragon

his coloration is yellow with small spots of brown and green

and from his hair grown the similar long leaf like skin that make it look like he’s wearing these long beautiful earrings

his gills are small and crescent shape on his neck and they illuminate a little when he swims

is very very playful and curious but can also just lazily float when he’s not feeling it

unfortunately, he was captured by scientists at a young age and has spent the better part of his life being experimented on

you’re one of the new lab techs whose assigned to a project on taemin and you,,,,,,hate seeming him all cooped up in that tiny tank

all alone

so every now and then when someone isnt looking you give him a little wave or do something silly to entertain him

recently you’ve started also listening to music when the other scientists and techs arent around

and sometimes ull do a little dance

and taemin,,,,,,,,,starts copying you

but when he does it it’s like ten million times more beautiful because he has that unique tail

and you cant really talk through the glass so you start using hand signals

like a thumbs up and making hearts

and you see how happy it makes him because he’ll do this little turn inside the tank

and swim up real close and smile against the glass

and ,,,,,, at one point you even get close and taemin and you just spend a good two minutes staring at each others faces

till taemin taps on the glass where your lips are and you dont know what he means

but you hear the door open and you have to step back

but anyway,,,,,everything is going fine - the project that taemin is involved in doesnt hurt him in any sort of way it just has some small samples that need to be taken and observation of his behavior

but you can tell that he’s old enough now that this little space is stressing him out

and one day when you’re alone in the lab with him

you try to figure out how to sign to him that you want to help him get out of the tank

and you pull up a photo of the ocean on your phone and point to him and then to it

and taemin watches intently until he presses close to the glass and taps again on your reflection,,,,on the place where your lips are

and you tap back to him

and then,,,,,,

you watch as he presses his lips to the glass, eyes fluttering a bit and you,,,,,,,,you can’t believe it but you think

that the mermaid is asking for a kiss

and you’re embarrassed to death but ,,,, you do it because,,,,,how can you say no to taemins face

and when you pull back he does another happy twirl and puts his hand to the glass

so you can put yours over it

and now more than ever,,,,,more than anything else you want to make sure to get him back out into the ocean,,,,,,

even if your heart is going a little crazy inside your chest at this moment hehe

2017

Happy new year!! Its a couple of days late but i don’t care hehe. Time flies really fast i almost fail to catch up. Unlike last year new year’s eve, this year i spent it with my family in Bali. Cliche huh? Bali on new year’s eve. Its a sudden trip, mom planned it like a week before departing. So yeah, my plan to celebrate nye with le boyfriend failed. Still had fun tho, i miss the fireworks and the excitement because i fell asleep in my hotel room lol. So anyway, a recap on 2017 shall we? January, jobless, (f)unemployed but hey i passed Bar Exam!. February, a week of disastrous first job (how could i forget?) but then, Laz happen. On Feb, i got hooked by Laz as an intern, meeting new friends, super fun office environment although a challenging work pace. On March, i stayed overnight at le boyfriend’s house, OFFICIALLY, i mean with his parents knowing (ofc his mom invited me to stay overnight) I MEAN WOW, i slept in his sister room with his sisters, you know, at that time i was like “oh god! oh god! oh god!” man, the excitement... and March means his birthday, as it has written in my other post, we celebrate his bday in Bandung with his family, what a lovely day i can’t forget my whole life, oh! and Honne happens this month. April, i sign contract for Laz, i got promoted as a contract based employee for a year, whoop whoop! Finally got a not-so-bad salary after those interns salary which is literally not enough for savings. May, BIRTHDAY!! he got me an autographed baseball ball, signed by none other than my fav baseball player *wink wink* along with dress and matching purse. On May too, couple of days after my bday, i fell, causing my forehead bleeds and i left a few scars, ya padahal abis itu mau bday lunch with le boyfriend, up to now when i saw the photo of our lunch date, i always find it silly, clumsy pipi. June, nothing special happened as i remembered, July, Bali trip #1 of the year! Bali was raining hard at that time, so we promise will be back soon. August, specifically on the 18th, our 1st anniversary! Nothing fancy, just an after office dinner with le boyfriend at lucky cat, chit chats and laughters. September nothing special that i remembered. October, dilemma dilemma, i got accepted into Kementerian Keuangan as a civil servant, SURPRISED, but i turned it down, sorry. November, i lose 2 coworkers, one of them got transferred to other department and one other resigned but got a new coworker who’s mature enough in return. November means working my ass off since i’m handling everything. December, le lady boss has tied the knot! and...took a long leave. Tbh, i love to be in control at the office although the workload waaay crazier. And as promised, we back to Bali! Bali trip #2 of the year!. Finally, what about my last year resolution as written in my “2016″ post?

“My 2017 wishes are ; i nailed bar exam for start, got a steady job, and still be with the man i love.”

I nailed bar exam on January, i got a steady job at Laz, and guess what? Le boyfriend is still mine to be called “le boyfriend”, alhamdulillah. I am grateful for 2017. 2017 is indeed full of surprises! Eventhough disappointments, tears and hard times were also there. Big test for our relationship, but again we manage to stay together through the odds. Highlights of 2017 i would say, Laz happen! Totally a life changer. As for this year’s goals, should i......ok i should, it will be get my physique in shape and live healthier, mengurangi kadar kadar mecin dalam tubuh dan berolahraga. Other than that, perbaiki ibadah, achieve my savings target and get through this year with none other than the super annoying boyfriend of mine, TAH. Message for 2018? Be amazing, please? ;) Ciao!
