Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are all gonna be club nights this week. 😵‍💫 Training, then two nights of trials, then a workshop Sunday evening. I decided not to enter the trial but I will take Marcie both nights and maybe do some NFCs. I think I’ll only take Topaz on Saturday night as it will be quieter so maybe a good one for her first. But she will come to Thursday training to start getting used to it. I foresee a lot of barking…

my mind is so funny for making me relive my worst nightmares and memories everytime I go to sleep

Maker santa was announced today!!! I think I'll get a person in about a week. I signed up as an elf this year so i will also be making a generic gift and while i am still obsessed with plushie building i think i thought make a giant plushie [thing my person likes] and pick a different skill to learn for the extra gift. I have polymer clay, wreath wire/frame things (in heart and circle shapes), a woodburning pen, and HEAPS of cyanotype formula (i was going to use it to dye some cheesecloth i have before i made it into a dress but the fabric i have is actually 2 different types and neither on their own are enough for a dress. Also the space required to prepare and activate the treated fabric is....more than i have). I also have sewing and embroidery stuff but unless im trying new techniques I want to go away from those i think (plushie making is new and also i have a spare foam mattress and couchback cushion worth of squish to repurpose).

Polymer clay coasters/decorations could be okay, bit basic though. I could make them science themed? Idk.

Today's Focus

12.05.23 - Well I'm back I guess. I took off yesterday after this persistent cough I've had for a couple of weeks kept me awake all Sunday night. But I'm kicking off my first office day of the holiday season with my pink Sailor Moon sweater that everyone here loves.

Work - I came in to a lot of emails but they all look pretty routine so I have to clear up my inbox and find the physical file I made up last Thursday to put some documents in. Other than that it's whatever comes in for me to attend to today.

Background Noise - I start with a miserable 115 videos on the Watch Later. Literally going to try and get through as many of these as possible today.

I only made it through like eight (8) videos over the weekend and a lot of my subs upload extremely regularly so I need to watch more than I put on this week.

Study - I'm getting back into it today folks!

Extras - Did the chores yesterday, and I'm supposed to have an easy meal to cook, so I'm going to try and get all the Xmas stuff up today. Otherwise I'm doing the majority of it tomorrow while I remote in and I'd like to save some time to myself to write and play Hades.

Something I've kinda been wondering about Skoodge for a long time is how much of a regular he was actually supposed to be. Like, presumably season 2 was going to be 20 episodes, same as season 1. 7 episodes got made and there's about 16 scripts/outlines that would've been completed, and even if we assume they were all 10 minutes instead of 20, that's still at least 8 more episodes, making up 15 out of 20 episodes of the season. So were DoDS and Top of the Line originally intended to air near the end of the season and the remaining 5-10 stories we don't know about that would've completed the season just happened to be the only other stories where Skoodge appears after moving in with Zim? Because it seems sort of odd if he's supposed to be living with Zim to never be seen or mentioned in any of the other stories we know were going to be in the season outside of flashbacks in The Trial.

Like, we know the Xmas special was intended for later in the season but was bumped up, but because it was already pretty far along in production they couldn't remove Minimoose even though his introductory episode was cut. But Skoodge isn't seen or mentioned in the Xmas episode, and you'd think if he was living with Zim by that point in the series they'd want to involve him in the holiday special. But there doesn't appear to have been any such complication with removing him, so he must not have been intended for the episode to begin with.

It's possible that Skoodge might've appeared in some of the stories we know of but were never shown a script or given a detailed synopsis for, and they just never mentioned it because his role would've been small, non plot-relevant cameos. But I think it's actually more likely that Skoodge just wasn't going to be living with Zim permanently as part of the status quo. He's not shown leaving at the end of the DotS script, but I think maybe he would've just disappeared and then the next time we'd see him in Top of the Line it would've been explained that he either left or was kicked out of Zim's house and they haven't seen each other since until they were reunited for the SIR competition.

ugh its Very Hard that my mums birthday is jn January bc I had Plans and now we moght bnoth be too sick for what I intended as her bday gift (going to th garden centre and letting her pick out plants) but. I also don't have any backup gifts bc I gave her the big material gifts for xmas. because trying to buy two lots of gifts within the same month for the same person is a fools errand, but also it feels mean to split the gifts bc then on Xmas their pile is smaller than everybody else's. it's a trial.

Basic background infos for the AU: Kratos is a professional MMA fighter, Lysandra works as A.D.A., Deimos is still alive and (somehow) well.

☾ - sleep headcanon

While in winter Lysandra loves to snuggle against Kratos’ side ‘cause the man is basically a furnace – so they mostly sleep in spoon/cradle positions, in summer she doesn’t tolerate the heat. Yet they still want to feel the other one, so they loosely intertwine their fingers (and she blesses the ceiling fan LOL).

After competitions he sleeps… and snores. Like, a lot, it seems like you’re sleeping beside a fr3aking tractor. But Lys has no heart to tell him that, so she goes to sleep on the recliner she has in her home office.

■ - Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

While before they both lived in apartments, when they started to live together they chose to buy a detached, single-family home.

The style is pretty essential. Elegant, but nothing too much. No trinkets nor ornaments, beside photos and Lysandra’s succulent plants vases (except in Christmas because Lys has a weakness for Xmas themed stuff LMAO).

Kratos really didn’t care to show them, but Lys has prepared a showcase for his sport trophies and medals.

Part of the basement has been converted into a home gym for Kratos.

Lysandra has a home office for those times when she must work some extra hours on a case.

Kratos painted Calliope’s (nursery first) bedroom and built her crib.

There're big windows in the living room, and toward the backyard

When he takes some free time  - quite rarely , to be honest - , Kratos likes to read. Don’t give him fantasy or romantic stuff, but a nice crime novel, historical or sport-themed books? That’s his cup of tea.

If Lysandra has to overwork in her office (YES, she’s quite a Stakhanovite), he reads there with her on her recliner. Ready to take his wifey to bed when she’s almost dying from sleepiness.

If she needs to decompress, Lys likes to swim. While at school she was a quite good archer, but for her swimming is way more relaxing.

ൠ – random headcanon

Lysandra first met Deimos at the physiotherapist studio.

He’s a veteran that got honorably discharged after getting injured in an explosion, where he almost completely lost sight from his left eye and got his “marks” as scars – while Lys was there because she got shot on the shoulder joint during a trial, trying to protect a witness.

At first he thought she was a cold, yet (a hot piece of ass) charming woman, he even told his brother about that.

Then he found out that that “hot piece of ass” was the very same woman that was working to throw Kratos’s ass in jail C:
