"ooooh hanahaki! but not for pedo or incest ships!!"
???? ? ?? ????
person so against those ships that they don't realize they're *perfect* for hanahaki. bc they're taboo!
which would a character prefer, suffer being sick by coughing up flowers bc they're in love w/ a person they shouldn't be or get rid of the flowers and their feelings to not feel pain and the love for that person anymore?

what if violante talked gale out of the whole ascension to godhood thing. and what if she died at the end of it all. and what if gale, crushed by the insurmountable grief, decided to use the crown. and what if he brought her back from the lands of deads. and what if violante is insanely angered with him for that but also fond of that feeling that brought him to defile the laws of nature. and what if she's forever bound to him now, and she hates him but she loves him and it's going to be eternal

You know nothing in that darn movie annoys me quite as much as them changing the boat scene.
In the movie he eats like eight people, calls for help for an injured Martine and then dives in the water. We then soon see him sneaking into his lab just fine. The man’s plan was apparently to swim fourteen miles to land to sneak into his lab unseen in dry clothes. Or at least that’s what we assume because there’s no explanation given there.
Comic Morbius killed his best friend, thought about his fiance’, the only other person on the boat with him, and his thoughts turned dark and to blood. There’s a realization he’s narrating aloud where he knows if he stays he’ll hurt her so he thinks it’s better to die. So he jumps.
I know they wanted Morb to be much less morally ambiguous in the movie but the change they made honestly made him LESS likeable because they gave him no damn motivation for the things he did. They just turned him into a puppet who does what the plot needs with no reason for it.
Movie Morbius risked others to cure himself first and foremost. Comics Morbius moved to try to cure himself after he realized that death was off the table.

"i want a soft byler confession" this and "i want a high stakes byler confession when they think they won't see each other again" that
well what if it's both? what if Mike gets cursed like Max did? what if Will finds out and confesses because why is Mike taking it so calmly? why is he so calm knowing he's about to die? so in a desperate moment they have the softest most heart wrenching confession and you know what? fuck this. fuck what everyone thinks. fuck that the society makes everyone think it's wrong. we only have few last days together so let's make the most of it. if these are my last days alive then i'm going to spend them being the happiest man alive because i'm loved by Will fucking Byers.
