Endlessly tickled by the idea of Akira being a good shot but a shit gamer. I like to think its cause hes got incredible hand eye coordination and super steady ‘surgeon’ hands; hes very good with precise movements, but panics when he has to do brain melting inputs. His brain can keep up but its hard to make his hands follow suit. Its why u can have him be dogshit at arcade cabinets; panicking with the little joystick and button mashing like mad, while having him be a beast at things like darts and billiards.
The only arcade games he can play is house of the dead-esque shooting games (hes literally at the top of the leaderboards for MILES and he draws crowds whenever he plays) and DDR cabinets (hes just very light on his feet)(NOT to be confused with stepmania; he would die if he had to do arrow inputs with his HAND). Its kinda fun to watch him fumble with the other silly gimmick cabinets, but its more entertaining to watch him do what hes good at. If u take him to play darts, and if the darts are super cheap, he will absolutely try his best to split them down the middle each time. Doesnt always work, but its insane to know that he lands the bullseye literally 100% of the time.

So this has been bouncing around in my head for a WHILE (aka: a couple days) now but your lights out au kinda reminds me of a game that came out recently called "my friendly neighborhood" (really good game btw, highly recommend to either play or watch a playthrough) bc the plot is literally "puppets are just alive in this universe muppet-style & after their show got canceled they all got locked in their show's studio for a decade or so & went slightly mad bc of it". There's a whole bunch of differences, obviously, but mainly I just thought it'd be interesting if the player character, a grumpy-but-lovable handyman who's also a war vet that has Seen Some Shit, ended up at the playfellow studio in this au for one reason or another (maybe he was asked to go in & check that the electricity all still works correctly?). Idk how the puppets would react to his arrival, but at least he's got some practice handling aggressive (or overly enthusiastic) puppets who haven't seen a real, live human in years.
i've been meaning to watch a playthrough for a week now T¬T i remember watching the demo and being immediately So Fucking Hyped for the game's release
if i were interested in crossovers, i'd probably be all over that! unfortunately, they're not really my wheelhouse </3

Karen: LMAO every guy I meet reminds me of my big brothers that's so funny except if Paul is already my brother and you're also a brother that's a bit awkward, huh
Hot bartender: THATS MOVING REALLY FAST AND I LIKE YOU AS A PERSON BUT -
Karen: having my brothers date would be SO WEIRD
Hot bartender: Well on the bright side I literally cannot speak more than five words to him so we aren't dating because he's so cute
(Everyone else: that is somehow the most depressing bright side we never want to hear)

✨Stuck at the airport tag game frenzy brought to you by spirit airlines✨
I already got here an extra hour early and now my flight is delayed an hour so I've got some time to kill lol
Game #1: your color + your bias
I was tagged by @jiminsproof and @blueside-hobi to play this. Thanks guys, your posts looked beautiful ❤️
Ummm I know these colors don't match at all but in my defense I was identified as beige. You really can't expect me to have an eye for color or layout or anything really 🤷 also that is not even beige? Wtf is analogue? I hate this
Game #2: on repeat
I was tagged by @blueside-hobi to play this 💕
Sorry for the repeats I didn't feel like typing everything out lol
Game #3: Receiptify
Tagged by @blueside-hobi and @hopeinthebox to play this!
Umm I will tag @chocolatnoir @joon-rkive @cheekyquokka @courtthisdisaster @senor-hoberto if any of these games appeal to you! And anyone reading this who wants to share!

AND ACTUALLY tbh it's on my mind because lately, I've been thinking about how/if Bakugo gets all soft when he's older. Not personality wise, but all sentimental about shit, you know?
Keeping every single photo and note and being really annoying abt never wanting to fight with you even if he's STEAMING mad about something. Trying so hard to be nice to Deku and Todoroki, actually calling them his friends (even if he's still mean to them about the billboard charts) and wanting to do stuff with them.
Not to mention how he tries to plan couples activities when he can (even if it's difficult, like HIKING or CAMPING)... and actually saying sorry. Like now he gets pissed if you don't want to talk shit out and you're mad because since when did he become the mature one? HE'S LYING.
I don't know. I do think he goes all soft eventually, though. Even if he's like fifty when it happens and never actually able to drop the lip.

you ever wonder if the Glamrocks's face tracking acts up when they look at Glamrock-Freddy,
like they'll look at his face, and the recognition will register as Freddy, but their systems for whatever reason or another think that there is a face overlapped on Freddy's
do you think they see two small squares next to him, at his side, roughly child sized, but no one is physically there....
right...?

Like, a lot of autistic people had the experience of their peers in school intentionally trying to exclude them from the group. and that's one of the things that's treated as a universal experience.
Growing up I had the exact opposite problem. I have extreme issues with being noise adverse, especially to things like the sound of breathing, chewing, and talking. like, being in the room with someone chewing gum is physically painful. And that made school hell. But I also have the disposition of an elderly, concussed, golden retriever. so all that sorta suffering was just internalized under a veneer of droopy amicability.
the one time I could escape Auditory Hell was during the lunch period when I could leave the group to find a quiet place to sit alone. Without fail. no matter the grade, no matter what else was happening, Someone would come over and invite their friends over to sit with me so I wasn't sitting alone. Didn't matter the town Didn't matter grade or school. I Could Not Escape. and I was too autistic to connect that the extreme discomfort I was in was because of the people around me, and that I could in fact ask to be left alone.
And like. I appreciate it. I get that they were trying to be friendly. but by god, in hindsight it's amazing I didn't bite more people as a teen

one thing I love about blue lock is that you never see kira again after the first episode. obviously he’s used to show how serious they are about the program and to turn the usual sports anime/manga trope on its head but. his ego was very apparent the moment he realized isagi- the one person that he was friendly with there- attacked him and caused him to lose his dream. and he really lost it himself by not being prepared to fight back, he’ll have to grapple with that fact for the rest of his life, especially seeing isagi and others from blue lock make it to the national stage. but it’s especially interesting because i’m sure he had the ego to make it. as soon as he was eliminated it was evident. if he was given another chance, or even 5 seconds longer to pass the ball to someone else, i think he could’ve been a major part of blue lock and possibly make it to the national level. but because he wasn’t expecting it, was trying to think of others, wasn’t prepared to eliminate someone else in time- his soccer career slipped from his fingers and he’ll never be allowed to play for japan’s national team
