Rise & Shine

I was originally writing this bc I felt the need to be rude to @wishitweresummer, but she actually just reached a little over 300 followers, and so this has become a lil fic present too for hitting such an incredible milestone! summer, you are cool as heck and I adore you SO MUCH, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did while picturing you reading this :D <3 love u!!!!

Sapnap is spending the day lounging by the pool, minding his own business and taking a lil panda nap. George is bored and decides to mess with him anyway

George knew it was cruel, yet he didn’t seem to care enough to stop himself. He slipped two fingers between the blinds on the sliding glass door to the backyard, spreading them to create a gap he could see through.

The youngest of the three boys in the house was out by the pool on one of the lounge chairs, lying on his back with his hat pulled down over his face. His shirt had been discarded on the chair next to him, and his arms were crossed behind his head. Sapnap was in his swimming trunks, the black and white checkered design looking dry and telling him that he’d been in that same spot for a while now. His eyes trailed down to the boy’s feet, one protected by the flip flops he had worn, while the opposite was bare, the other shoe resting on its side on the chair. He looked so peaceful.

George only felt a little bad for what he was about to do.

He slid the door open slowly, trying not to wake Sapnap as he stepped out onto the hot concrete in his socks. Spinning on his heel, he turned back towards the door to close it, making sure to use the lightest amount of pressure to make sure it shut properly behind him without slamming closed. George turned around to face Sapnap again, standing there for a few seconds to make sure he hadn’t woken up. When no movement was detected, George made his way over to him.

Sapnap was definitely asleep, the sound of quiet snoring coming from beneath his hat now audible as he got closer. The elder stopped when he reached the foot of Sapnap’s chair, folding his arms across his chest as he looked the shorter boy up and down, thinking of how exactly he planned to entertain himself. It didn’t take long for his eyes to land on the feet in front of him, the toes wiggling as Sapnap took in a deep breath and stretched slightly. He slowly ran a finger over the toes of the bare foot, just over the pads, and was rewarded with a tiny squeak. George repeated the action again, biting his bottom lip to keep from laughing when Sap whined in his sleep, curling his toes and letting out the tiniest giggle.

“Poor thing.” George whispered under his breath to no one in particular, moving his legs apart and taking a few steps forward to straddle the chair, directly over Sapnap’s ankles. He stayed standing, reaching a hand behind him to play with the curled toes a bit more as Sapnap continued to stir beneath him. The nail of his pointer finger scraped lightly over the pad of his big toe, making him squirm and jerk his foot away, beginning to wake up properly.

“Rise and shine, sleepyhead.”

“Nohoho…” Sapnap whined from behind his hat as he felt a weight settle on his shins, fingertips moving from his toes to his arch. George leaned forward and stretched out with his free hand, gently removing the hat and giving the boy time to bring his hands up to cover his face from the blinding sun. The elder giggled when he saw a flash of pink skin, noticing Sapnap’s blush immediately and cooing at him.

“You either got way too much sun or are flustered out of your sleepy little mind right now.” George commented, allowing his giggles to flow freely now at the way Sapnap snatched the hat from his hand and held it back over his face.

“M’ not!”

“You’re not? So you just got sunburnt then? Silly little pandas, you really should use sunscreen!” George replied, moving his hand that previously held the hat to join the one behind him, reaching around until he felt the flip flop and gripped onto it lightly. This caught Sapnap’s attention right away, sending him into a frenzy and grabbing at George’s arms as he sat up straight in the lounge chair. This didn’t deter him, though, and he continued to pull at the shoe, trying to slide it off but finding it hard due to Sapnap flailing and curling his toes in a desperate attempt to keep it on. After a minute of fighting, George let go of the shoe and brought both of his hands in front of him, crossing his fingers together and looking at Sapnap, as if he were waiting for something.

“George wh- NAHAHAHA! NO NONONO FUCK!”

Sapnap’s curiosity was silenced, George’s hands now suddenly squeezing and prodding at his thighs like his life depended on it. He paused briefly to adjust himself, sliding himself up the smaller boy’s shins and settling back down right below his knees before digging right back in. George’s fingers squeezed above his kneecaps, making Sapnap kick out with a squeal. They both heard a small splash, making George pause and turn around, only to burst into bright giggles. The flip flop that Sapnap so desperately tried to keep as protection was flung from his foot in his struggles, now floating around on the surface of the pool. George turned back around and came face to face with a very blushy Sapnap, only laughing harder when the younger slapped the hat back over his face once more.

“Stohohop laughing! It’s your fahault!” Sapnap whined through his laughter as George’s fingers sprung to life again, this time moving up a few inches and digging circles in with his thumbs right at the inner middle part of the boy’s thighs. Sapnap arched his back, his laughter flowing into the air as George continued to squeeze and torment the younger boy. He used the nails of his four idle fingers to skitter lightly over the tops of Sapnap’s thighs while his thumbs switched to pushing in for seconds at a time, smirking and giggling to himself whenever Sapnap screamed.

“I always forget just how ticklish you are here, Sappy,” George spoke over his laughter, his volume a little louder than usual to make sure the younger boy heard him. “Listen to how giggly you are! Your nose is probably all scrunched too, isn’t it?”

Sapnap shook his head quickly, hat still pressed firmly over his face as he protested through his cackles. George smirked, pride flowing through him when he saw how red the tips of Sapnap’s ears were. It was a sign of victory in his mind, having the younger boy falling apart below him with just a few well placed squeezes and pokes. He moved his hands up further, giving an experimental squeeze to the tops of his inner thighs and breaking out into a huge grin when Sapnap screeched. The sound was unlike anything George had heard him make before, and he quickly decided he needed to hear it again immediately.

The Brit moved himself up a bit more, adjusting himself until he was hovering above Sapnap’s knees. Before sitting down - and before Sapnap knew what was happening - George reached behind him and gripped onto his right ankle, quickly bending the leg at the knee and turning it to the side, until the milky skin of Sapnap’s inner thigh was facing the skylights. The brunette sat down quickly before Sapnap could correct the positioning and straighten his leg out, successfully trapping his thigh in the most vulnerable way.

The tips of George’s fingers barely grazed the exposed skin before his wrists were scooped up and yanked away harshly, a string of protests and pleads falling from Sapnap’s lips. George pulled on his wrists lightly, laughing when the younger boy’s grip tightened. He lifted his head and was once again face to face with Sapnap, the hat once covering his face nowhere to be found as he pouted at the older boy.

“Please, please you cahan’t! George- George, nohohot there! Come on, don’t be a little bitch!” Sapnap’s lips pressed tightly together as he realized what he said, his eyes now pointed down in his lap to avoid meeting George’s gaze. He heard the brunette let out a quiet hum of disapproval, followed by silence, making him more anxious with every second that passed by. Just when he was about to beg for forgiveness, he saw a flash of brown hair dart towards him, letting out a high pitched scream when he felt teeth nibbling at the muscle between his neck and shoulder.

“FUCK! Nohoho no! Stohohop, fucking stohop! George, no!” George’s wrists were released as Sapnap flung his hands up to gently grab his face, lightly squeezing George’s cheeks as he pushed his face out from the crook of his neck. Once his face was completely out of its hiding spot, George wasted no time, digging both of his hands into the soft thigh that was practically immobile.

“NOHOHOHO! NO, FUHUHUCK OFF! GEHET OFF!” Sapnap was screaming through his laughter, flipping between flinging himself to sit straight up and slamming himself back down against the chair. The side of Sapnap’s foot was slapping against the plastic, not able to do anything with it other than pathetically wiggle in lieu of kicking.

George spread all of his fingers as far apart as he could , pressing in his fingertips and vibrating his hands back and forth. He eventually found the spot at the top of Sapnap’s thigh that the boy was trying to hide, and George giggled as Sapnap made the foreign noise once again. To his horror, this only encouraged George to tickle harder, squeezing and pinching at the sensitive area. The action sent Sapnap into another round of cackles, the raspiness from laughing so hard creating little breaks of silence in between them. George leaned forward slightly, allowing some of his weight to rest more on his hands, purely to add more pressure onto his tickling fingers. Sapnap shook his head quickly, throwing himself down against the back of his chair again as he squealed out in ticklish agony. His arms were wrapped tightly around his torso, a hand gripping onto George’s wrists every so often, but not having any strength to pull them away and end his suffering. George took this moment of extreme weakness to walk the hand that was higher up on Sapnap’s thigh to the very top of it, slotting his thumb into the muscle in the crease between his hip and thigh and pressing down lightly. Sapnap shrieked, bucking his hips up violently and almost throwing George off of him.

“Oh? What’s this, angel? Did I find something?” George gave another press with his thumb, this time wiggling it slightly. This time he was prepared when Sapnap attempted to buck up again, breaking out into hysterics when George began making little circles in the seemingly hypersensitive spot. He abandoned the vulnerable inner thigh in favor of using both hands on the newly rediscovered spot, placing them on either side to mirror each other and digging in. Sapnap wailed, kicking and thrashing and doing anything he could to try and dislodge George.

“NAHAHAHA PL-PLEHEHEASE! NOHOHO- I- I CAHAN’T I-!” Sapnap was blubbering through his hysterics, flopping around like a fish out of water as George tickled him to tears. He could feel them welling up in the corner of his eyes, unable to stop them from falling when he squeezed his eyes shut tighter.

“This must be a really bad spot, huh, Sap? Look at you, you’re crying like a little tickle baby!” He could hear George giggling at him, only further flustering him and making him whine through his laughter. He gripped onto George’s wrists again, pulling and yanking as much as he could, only to find he was sapped of all strength.

“GEOHOHORGE!” He complained as he twisted in his seat, taking in a much needed breath when George’s fingers finally came to a stop. The elder shook the grip off of his wrists, instead taking Sapnap’s hands in his own and bringing them to his mouth to place a kiss on each one, right along the knuckles. This made the younger boy whine through his giggles, still trying to catch his breath but allowing himself to relax into the touch.

“Alright, Sap, just one more thing and then I’ll stop tormenting you.” George compromised, smiling with a giggle when Sapnap let out a defeated whimper. He gently moved his hands from George’s and brought them up to his face, rubbing at his reddening cheeks in an attempt to control his blush. It was useless, but he continued to do it anyway as a form of self soothing. George took this as a sign to continue.

Suddenly nimble fingers were back on his inner thighs, spidering and squeezing and pressing in as much as they could. Sapnap cried out at the intensity, bringing his hands to his hair and pulling as an outlet to release some of the tickly energy surging through him. Every squeeze and pinch to his inner thighs sent him into another fit of laughter, squeals and squeaks and raspy giggles spilling out and deafening both of them. But George didn’t care, only interested in coaxing out the most embarrassing noises he could produce from the squirmy boy beneath him. Sapnap could feel the cool air against the wetness of his cheeks, bringing his hands down to rub at his eyes to get rid of the lingering tears there. He wasn’t sure how much more he could take - his lungs felt like they were on fire, and his breathing was getting more shallow the harder he laughed. Just when he thought he would have to pull out the safeword, the tickles stopped, finally allowing him to breathe again.

“You actually did pretty well! I was expecting you to fling me off of you like, halfway through that!” George rubbed his palms over the tingly skin of Sapnap’s thighs, trying to ease the ghost tickles that were still lingering there. The younger boy continued to giggle as he slowly sat up, replacing George’s hands with his own. George moved his hands down Sapnap’s thigh, instead rubbing the area above his knees soothingly to try and help him calm down.

“You…whahat the hell, George?! I was trying to sleep!” He whined, trying his hardest to sound mad but failing as his giggles continued to flow from him. George giggled along with him, shrugging his shoulders and dipping his head down, clearly bashful about the situation he created.

“I know, but I was bored! I couldn’t help it. Don’t act like you didn’t have fun!” George snapped back, lifting his head back up and meeting Sapnap’s eyes, daring him to deny it. The younger boy got the point, rolling his eyes with a sigh as the last of his giggles finally dissolved on his tongue.

“Geez Sap, you were so squirmy. Look! You threw your hat!” George chuckled as he spotted the black hat on the ground under the chair next to them, leaning down and stretching to pick it up between his pointer and middle fingers, not wanting to stand up to get it. He managed to lift it, gliding it up and over Sapnap’s lap before dropping it on top of his thighs. Sapnap was quick to grab it, dusting it off before putting it back on his head, adjusting it until it sat perfectly in place.

“Yeah, and look what you did to my flip flop!” Sapnap yelled as he pointed at the floating shoe, his slight annoyance seeping through his tone. He let out a yelp as George squeezed into the sensitive above his hip bones, jolting to the side and growling when the elder let out a little giggle. He watched as George stood up, walking towards the edge of the pool to see for himself.

“I didn’t do this, idiot, that was all you. It’s not my fault you’re so ticklish.” George scoffed, turning briefly to roll his eyes at Sapnap before turning back towards the pool. Sapnap rolled his eyes back, breaking into a small smirk as he got an idea. He slowly stood up for the lounge chair, careful to be as quiet as possible as he started walking towards George.

“Yeah, it’s not like you were the one tickling me to death.” Sapnap argued back, keeping his tone the same as to not throw himself off and ruin his own plan.

“Whatever, it’s not my- WAH!”

George screamed out as he was pushed from behind by the younger, sending him forward and right into the pool. When he resurfaced, he gasped for air, letting out a loud screech when the black flip flop bobbed next to him. He looked around the room quickly, trying to reorient himself when his eyes finally landed on Sapnap. He was bent over, laughing hysterically like he was still being tickled.

“You’re an idiot! What is wrong with you?!” George yelled, grabbing the shoe and throwing it as hard as he could in Sapnap’s direction. The younger boy dodged it, turning back towards George and sticking his tongue out at him. The brunette glared at him with a look that could kill, wiping the wet hair out of his eyes before speaking.

“You’re fucking dead, Sapnap.” George made a move for the ladder, sending Sapnap running towards the back door to the house. He watched the younger boy frantically grab at the handle as he began to climb out of the pool, teasing him the whole time.

“I’m gonna get you, Sap!” George called in a sing-song tone, laughing when Sapnap let out a scream as he flung the door open, quickly turning around and sliding it shut with a loud thud. He grabbed a towel from the chair to dry himself off as he watched Sapnap disappear into the house, shaking his head with a chuckle. George was in no rush, knowing he had plenty of time to catch up to Sapnap and tickle him to pieces again. Only this time, it would be easier.

This time he’d have a very big puppy on his side, eager to help destroy Sapnap.

SFW Alphabet: RoP! Elrond

a/n: some time ago someone asked if I’ll be writing more for this elf boi and the answer is ABSOLUTELY YES! hope you like this, let me know! no warnings, just fluff, and it will be loooooong <3 (he’s perfect and I love him the absolute most)

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) I feel like he’s INCREDIBLY affectionate, but in very small, subtle yet very sweet ways. Squeezing your hand reassuringly, walking arm in arm in more formal settings, moving your hair out of your face, holding your face in his hands as he confesses his love, or taking your hand and placing it over his heart. I feel like he would also really love pressing a quick kiss to the back of your hand every now and then, making you feel like royalty. Touching his forehead to yours when no words are needed to express something. So, basically a lot of little gestures that you enjoy endlessly.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) He’d be sometimes a bit forgetful or busy, but whenever you do see each other his attention would be fully on you. Elrond is a great person to talk to and a very good listener, which would build a solid foundation of the friendship. He knows he can turn to you with whichever concern he has at the moment, and you can do the same. Since he can be pretty occupied with his tasks, I imagine you’d meet through working/living in the same circles and initially bond over that.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) I don’t see him as that much of a cuddly person on a daily basis. However, before you two go sleep or take any kind of rest, cuddling is a must. When that happens, you are physically as close as possible, it’s basically hard to tell where one ends and the other one begins. Both of you enjoy burying your face in the crook of the neck of the other person, or the good old head-on-your-chest and listening to the calming heartbeat. One thing that is almost guaranteed to happen is you running your fingers through Elrond’s hair, or him doing that to you. It’s very relaxing. The sweetest thing in the world is waking up in each other’s arms, eyes heavy with sleep, messy hair and tousled blankets.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) Elrond would LOVE to settle down with you - he fell for you deeply and all those feelings only continue to grow over time. He wants to make sure you’re always by his side and that you two are eternally bound to each other, loving and supporting one another until the end of time (of course if that’s something that you want also). When it comes to chores... he’s not the most skilled and quick person out there, but he has a great enthusiasm for learning, and helping you with whatever you may need, and he quickly grows to love working on little things beside you. It feels very home-y and not like a dull duty, as soon as his most beloved person is involved.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) He would be very considerate, very careful, he’d think it through for a while and have a lengthy list in his mind of all objective pros and cons. He’d be very respectful and never harbor any resentful feelings towards you, no matter what.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) I guess I partially answered this in “Domestic”, but Elrond would love being committed to you, and he would absolutely leave it up to you to choose if/when you want to get married. He’s just overjoyed as long as he gets to be with you, and I cannot stress that enough. You’re his home, his closest friend, his comfort, his confidant, and a bright ray of sunshine in his life.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) EXTREMELY. I’m not even sure I have to write about this in detail hahah, but he seems to me a VERY gentle person in every way, sometimes even too considerate - it seems to you sometimes that he treats you as if you’re made of glass or porcelain, but he’s simultaneously aware you’re a capable person. His touch is feather-light and so unbelievably full of love, and more often than not you can read his feelings in his expressive eyes. Emotionally he’s very worried of potentially upsetting you in any way, so he always tries to wager his words, and he will absolutely always want to know your opinions and feelings about any possible topic.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) Hugs are mostly reserved for private moments behind closed doors, especially when one of you is upset. In public, sometimes he will lay a gentle arm across your shoulders or waist in a half-hug, just as proof that he’s there with you, but privately he likes to hold you as close as possible and basically breathe you in as he envelopes you in his arms and rests his head on yours. He’s partially convinced that your hugs have healing effects on him sometimes, when his mind is too loud and the world too overwhelming. It would be an understatement to say that Elrond ADORES when you catch him alone and off guard and hug him from behind!!! It’s the safest, most wholesome place in the world, to be so close to you.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) Firstly, I think he started feeling something for you a long time before he said anything at all, or suggested becoming exclusive. So, if you look at the timeline of your relationship, you could say that he admitted his love relatively soon, but you found out that he had been harboring those feelings for waaaay longer than you knew (okay, maybe you did know from how he treated you and looked at you while you were “just friends”). Elrond just wanted to be completely sure of his unchanging love for you, and he wanted to be as certain as possible that you returned your affections because he didn’t want to put you in an awkward position potentially. When he first said he loved you, it was the sweetest moment, and you weren’t at all surprised - just overjoyed, and he was just as ecstatic when you said it back. Or maybe you were the one who said it first, and he almost cried happy tears as you cupped his cheeks in your soft hands and looked deeply into his eyes.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) In my opinion, Elrond doesn’t seem like a very jealous person, but rather trusting. He knows he’s the one you love, but in rare moments when someone else tries to win your affections and attention, he could feel a bit insecure. Again, he never puts the blame on you, but rather himself - could he do better, treat you better, spend more quality time with you? I think he has a tendency to overthink his own qualities and lacks in those situations, but you’re able to quickly pick up on it and reassure him that he’s the most perfect person for you, and that he should never compare himself to others negatively. In your eyes, nobody compares to him, not even close. Just make sure he’s also aware of that, since he can have nearly impossible standards for himself.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) So full of love and tenderness, ranging from very gentle and barely there, to the most passionate, full of feeling kisses you’ve ever received; but he would never do it on the lips in public! Like I wrote at the beginning, he shows his affection in a variety of subtle ways, and kissing wouldn’t be one of the go-to displays of it - he prefers to leave it for when there’s just the two of you. He LOVES to kiss your hands and finds that appropriate for most settings, but in more intimate ones, especially in the morning and evening, he likes to scatter kisses across your bare shoulders and neck - you are impossibly attractive to him and he wants to show it in every way. As for where he likes you to kiss him, he really relishes in the feeling of your soft, reassuring forehead kiss, or on top of his head. It makes him feel at home, wherever you are, and somehow it helps dissipate his worries.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) In his current phase of life, not so great - he doesn’t have much chance to encounter children in the first place, but if you two decide to have children of your own he grows into the role of a parent so quickly and basically becomes a natural. However, he worries a lot and is sometimes scared of somehow hurting them accidentally, but he will be very supportive, loving and warm.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Lots of physical touch, also a lot of silence, you both need it to energize for the day ahead of you. It can be so hard to get out of the bed and out of Elrond’s embrace, but the facts that you will have hundreds of mornings together comforts you. He makes sure to let you know straightaway after waking up how beautiful you are and how much he cares for you.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) Kind of similar to mornings. Soft, slow, silent, cuddly. Often you would read different things in bed together, sometimes one of you would read aloud to the other. In the evenings, Elrond becomes extra extra affectionate and can sometimes barely keep his hands and lips off of you. On other nights, you enjoy spending time outside looking at the stars and talking about everything and anything.

O = Open  (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say  everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) Elrond, at least from my point of view, would take it easy with most things, and he’d especially never want to burden and/or upset you with anything. Luckily, he’s also very expressive, especially with his eyes, and he also finds it hard to keep things from you, so you can notice immediately if something is off, and then coax him into sharing it with you. After reassuring him that it’s okay to share even the negative things with you. He knows that you always just want to help and make him feel better.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) Have you seen this guy??? He’s patience personified, 90% of the time!! Absolutely not easily angered at all, even though it would be healthy for him to occasionally let out negative feelings and frustrations. In hundreds of years of knowing him, you have seen him outright angry at something like, 2 times, mostly because of some great injustice he faced.

Q = Quizzes  (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little  detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) Elrond is very attentive and he treasures every word you say and every little thing you do, whether for him or someone else. You’re the most important person to him, and he also shows it through being a great listener who remembers what you tell him, almost all of it. Especially when it comes to all the compliments and affections you bestow upon him. You can talk a lot, but he listens just as much! And not just out of respect, care and genuine interest in every dimension of your life and personality, but also because he’s in love with the soothing, yet animated, sound of your voice.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) After he just found out why he needed to acquire the mithril from the dwarves, and about the potential end of the elvish kind, he was feeling too many things at once. He was outside catching some fresh air and pacing around, trying to sort out his thoughts and feelings, yet failing. You became concerned after he didn’t come to dinner with you, and went out searching for him - it wasn’t difficult since you knew all his favorite places. Elrond’s back was turned to you as he looked out into the distance, completely unsure of what do to, and you approached him quietly and hugged him from behind with all the love you had. He didn’t have to let out a single word for you to know he was incredibly upset, he would tell you later anyway, and for a moment he just allowed himself to enjoy your closeness, your presence and your silent support. Suddenly he realized, once again, he never had to face any challenge alone - you were right there by his side, no matter what happens.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) I think he can be quite protective, but in a very chill way; he isn’t some huge, intimidating person, nor does he have a loud and booming personality, but he doesn’t like injustice in any capacity, so he will always stand up for you if necessary. He will casually step in, concealing any type of concern for what is going on, and verbally get you out of a situation in most cases. When it comes to you protecting him, it’s quite similar. Sometimes he can be a people-pleaser even if it goes against him, and you hate to see him in such situations. You’re quick to defend him and “fight” for him whenever he seems to be overlooked.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Since Elrond can be quite busy, it is often up to you to pull more weight in planning a picnic or a romantic night; but when he is the one doing it, that boy goes all in! The most delicious food, the most meaningful and exquisite gifts, the most genuine, yet poetic proclamations of love, you name it. You’re immeasurably grateful for all of it, but he appreciates it even more, if possible, when you go out of your way to prepare something extra special for him.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) I see him as almost a chronic over-thinker, which isn’t surprising, considering he’s still relatively young, yet carrying out very important tasks. He always wants to be up to standards and he feels as if he has to earn his place and acceptance amongst elves - he is partially a human after all. That also means he sometimes has impossibly high expectations of himself.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) Relatively concerned, but never prioritizes that over anything. He just wants to look as put-together as possible, again, considering what he does and the circles he works and moves in. On the other hand, your favorite look of his is when you two go to sleep, or just get up, his soft hair is everywhere, his eyes are shimmering and he has a serene smile, relaxed in your presence, and he can just be himself, as the sweet and charming person that he is.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) Yes and no. He is his own person, and you are yours, and you’re both aware of that. However, his life feels so much fuller and richer by having you in it, that he finds it almost impossible to try and imagine it without you. He would most likely feel complete, and busy himself with as many tasks as possible, but he would lack that feeling of warm home, comfort, and unconditional love that you give to him.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) Not sure that this will be very random, but he cries easily and he has no problem being openly emotional with you. You think that’s a wonderful thing, because many elves that you know tend to have a cold facade, but he is just so... authentic. Elrond recites a lot of poetry to you. His silky sleep shirt is too big on him, and his fingers are more often cold than warm, and that’s one bonus reason he likes holding hands with you - to warm them up a bit. He will get chills everywhere if you run your fingertips along the rims of his ears.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) He strongly dislikes any sort of discrimination or injustice, since he grew up a half-human among elves, there were occasions on which he could feel outcast or mistreated due to that. Furthermore, he hates breaking his promises or not sticking to his word due to changing circumstances, but most of all he resents other people not sticking to what they say, or anyone who is manipulative.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?) Elves don’t require sleeping as much as humans do, but he’s partially human and sometimes really needs a good night’s sleep. That can only be achieved if he’s basically glued to you, he needs your closeness and physical contact in order to completely unwind and drift off. Furthermore, when he sleeps he can have very interesting and vivid dreams which he will excitedly share with you in the morning. Also, sometimes talks in elvish in his sleep, but it’s hard for you to understand everything he says - it’s usually nonsense anyways.

Uh, heck yeah I would love to hear your ideas!!!

:D ok so there’s three different ideas:

1. The fic that I’m working on. It’s called “a Blessing from the Goddesses”, a title based off of a line from a love at twilight fic I posted here a while ago. Rusl and Uli are newly weds trying for a child, but it’s not working and they’re afraid that they’re infertile (they’re not), Rusl is teaching himself how to fight (think about Will Turner from pirates. He makes a sword and then practices with it) and Uli is waiting for him to get his nightly training done. Rusl gets creeped out by the forest but he’s an idiot so he checks it out, where he finds four-year-old Link hidden in Faron woods. He takes Link back and goes looking for his parents, who died in some monster attack. Rusl and Uli mostly raise Link while the other Ordonians look out for him. It’s very cute but the ending is getting me stuck, and idk if this’ll actually be Link’s official backstory cuz it doesn’t make sense with what I have now. I love the idea that Link gets adopted during the temple of time, so why did Rusl wait that long to adopt him if he’s been there since he was four? Rusl and Uli def would’ve considered him a son seeing how they were trying for a kid, and it just doesn’t fit. But I do love the idea.

2. Link actually shows up in Ordon a lot later. He could honestly be a foster kid, Rusl and Uli take care of him until he’s old enough to go out on his own, maybe still recovering from the loss of his parents. Idk how old he is, but in tp, it feels like he’s still relatively new to Ordon. The way Colin acts around him, the way Rusl is opening up his doors for him and offering to teach him more seriously. It feels like Rusl is going through the process of being with Link enough to adopt him, and Link, who longs for a parental relationship after losing his, is happily going along with it. Idk how old he would be, but maybe around a tween or early teens when he first shows up and is taken under Rusl’s wing. This might be the idea that I’ll go for since it seems to fit tp more accurately and I honestly find it really sweet. Something about teenagers getting adopted just makes me :’)

3. Now this was an idea I had a loooooong long time ago. It was honestly more of an au, but it was an idea that Tp Link was the son of oot Link and Malon. Lon Lon Ranch is vibing and Malon and oot link are vibing until a large battle comes by and oot link has to fight in it. In the end, he has to use the fierce deity mask in order to win, but he ends up dying in the end. Malon is pregnant with tp Link and she moved somewhere else to deal with the death of her husband. She goes to Ordon, gives birth, but ends up passing away from something. Idk how old Link is tho. Again, Rusl and Uli take him in since he just lost his family, and this could make sense seeing how it’d be weird to immediately adopt your friend’s kid, but as Link gets older, he leans on Rusl and Uli as they act more fatherly and motherly towards him. I mean, there’s always that one friend of your parents that’s like a second family to you. Idk, this one doesn’t make a lot of sense in the context of the two games put together, but idk, it’s cute. I loved the idea of Link finding Talon who’s an old man but a sweet little grandpa bfdkbdkddbk

Saw someone else do it and I think I've done this before too, but the list has grown since then a bit so here's my current lineup of read dead wips that I'm working on!! :D Minus the stuff that's already posted on AO3 cuz I see no point in doing a synopsis for things that have left my google drive and you can go and read ahah.

Turned out loooooong so lookie under the cut if you're interested in knowing what I'm up to.

Morston Soulmate AU (title tba, multichapter, around 20-30k when finished) - An AU where you can feel all the injuries your soulmate gets, both minor and major ones. There's no soul marks, seeing your soulmate get hurt and connecting the dots is the only way to find out. Has a lot of time skips and focuses more on feelings than events, but starts out pre-canon when John almost gets lynched and works its way towards the end of the canon story. Chapters alternate between Arthur's and John's POV. Canon compliant :)

RDR2 "Modern AU" (title tba, multichapter, long as shit) - I only call it a modern AU for the sake of simplicity... I'm not sure if it counts as one. Set in 1999 and focuses on the case of Arthur Matthews -- a 36 year old adoptive son of the infamous criminal defence lawyer Hosea Matthews, who went missing without a trace for six months and then reappeared miles from his hometown, seemingly unharmed, but also... not quite right. Delusional, confused, suffering from some sort of memory impairment. The story is about Arthur struggling to adapt to being back home in a reality that is apparently foreign to him. Outsider's/John's POV, but not really shippy. It can be read as pre-slash, though.

My Self-Indulgent Jesse/Arthur fic (another title tba lol, it's too early to tell but I'm thinking multichapter? A collection of scenes from 1878 to 1899) - This one is for me and me only, though I will eventually post it 😂 Written in second person, like a reader-insert and can be read as one if someone wants to, but I am including Jesse's backstory and feelings that are way too specific to be immersive for anyone but myself... I'm working real hard to write it in a way that portrays growing up queer in that time somewhat realistically, so it's not always pretty, but I do try to keep it not that depressing. Features: Jesse's early-life backstory, the story of the scar, his first Gay Experience, how his brothers died, the ups and downs of his relationship with Arthur, why they eventually broke up for what felt like last time, how he got arrested (altered RDO storyline bit) and how he got back up with the gang. I'm planning to do a rough rewrite/fix-it of the canon story with him in it too, but that's... an "one day" thing ajsddjfk

Morston Omegaverse (title tba, one shot, around 10-15k probably? I can't keep things short, sorry) - Young-ish and freshly presented Alpha John, "Closeted" Omega Arthur. Ngl this one is smutty as hell... but! I think my take on omegaverse is rather fun (very transgendered) and it's porn WITH not without plot so something for everyone there lol. John's POV again + lotsa feelings, misunderstandings and some angst :) Just the way I like it.

Vandermatthews Daemon AU (had a title but ao3 yeeted my draft and I forgot what it was, oops)- I say Vandermatthews, but it's more of a "curious couple, unruly son" genfic than real slashfic 😅 This is supposed to be the beginning a series of oneshots from different characters' POV. This one is maybe a 1/3 done (needs a serious rewrite tho) and written from Hosea's POV. It's about him and Dutch finding and taking in young Arthur -- a very traumatised child who has undergone intercision and therefore lost his daemon. More of a collection of vignettes from that moment to when they take in John than a real coherent fic tho. The next one is going to be John's POV coming of age thing and we'll see where my brain will go from there. I want to do a separate big ass post about this one later because I have Opinions on the gang members' daemons that I need either challenged or validated...

1907!John/Isaac fic (title tba... a two parter, one set in the epilogue and the second is a RDR1 fix-it) - NOW HEAR ME OUT!!!!!! PUT DOWN THE GODDAMN PITCHFORKS FOR A SECOND PLS This is a plot bunny that Refused To Fucking Die. Isaac is obviously an adult in this (22), they have never met before, and the story begins in the months where Abigail and Jack were gone and John worked alone on Pronghorn ranch. It's not so much a romance (despite the slash) but more two people dealing with different types of grief in Very Unhealthy ways, okay. It's supposed to be a bit iffy because of that and the... 12 years of difference between them in this universe. I'm not trying to make this shit uwu or anything. It's also a bit of a daddy issues vent piece for me and I've been working it for MONTHS because I want to write this one right. This is the the fic I redacted in my last WIP showcase, but now decided that... fuck it. Here you go.

I gotta say, I do applaud Pokémon XD for how like… playable it is? Okay— that sounds weird, but I mean it in terms of like, I got that game loooooong before I ever even got the hint that there was a predecessor to the game, and I remember the ‘Michael’s dad passed away 5 years ago’ plot point and it, amongst the other plot point of ‘the last time Cipher was up to no good,’ I just thought it was like, just more world building stuff (I didn’t really put much thinking into stuff back in the day lol). And I remember being so curious about what was behind the door with the ❌ on it at the top of the ONBS building and what happened to warrant that, so when I finally did put 2 and 2 together, getting to explore behind that door was so super awesome!

Beginning backwards is a totally valid way to enter a world's story, in my opinion. That natural curiosity that builds as new details rise before realizing there's a whole other part of the story. I think it's a pretty underrated way to get into a saga honestly. "How did this happen? Why are things like this? Were they always that way?" questions that prompt you to want to explore the past like you're some archeologist or historian.

I remember my first Halo game was Halo 3 and I had no prior knowledge of the story so when I did the single player I just had to imagine what the story up to this point had to be based on what they referenced, but that incomplete telling of the story so far really makes you want to play the prior games if you like the game you're playing right now. Another example is the fractured story telling and jump between Kingdom Hearts I and KH II that confused me as much as it fascinated me to think about. It's an underrated feeling. My brother right now playing Zelda ToTK is curious to know what happened in BoTW now.

The way Colosseum disguised itself as yet another battle simulator must've made this feeling happen to more people like you who started with XD than we think. It's funny to think about.

I haven’t been playing a lot of Genshin Impact lately because I tried really hard to get Itto and couldn’t, so I was grumpy at the game for that, because my big goal right now is building a second main DPS unit so I can tackle the Spiral Abyss better.

None of the characters I have are really my style, like Yanfei is very useful but I still only have her at C3 and not great artifacts and she’s limited in how far she can go against the worst of the game.  I love Ayaka’s design, but I don’t really like the feel of her playstyle.  Zhongli is my shieldbot.  Childe is mostly a bow-user and bows are impossible on mobile.  Etc. I made an attempt at Shenhe because, well, I was at 65+ pity and I liked her character design, might as well, right?  I didn’t try super hard, I haven’t been playing enough to even use up my resin every day (I’m tired of hunting crystalflies, but I also don’t want to just use original resin, it takes so loooooong), I haven’t been doing the storyline quests, I’ve been barely eking out the events, etc. I wanted my unga bunga smashy Itto, dammit.  ):  But, well, hell, I’ll keep trying for Ganyu.  Yeah, she’s a bow user, but her AOE is nuts and I’d enjoy having her just because I love her character.  Plus, I REALLY want C4 Yanfei from this banner, she starts doing shields then! I think I had to go to something like 75 pity (ugghhhh) but then I got my 5*!

This fandom was HELLA prolific, with a HUGE range of content, going all the way back to 2011. If you want it, somebody was probably writing it! Probably several somebodies, and they might still be writing it, but even if they’re not, it’s often still there for you to find. We had (and have!) SO MUCH GREAT CONTENT, YOU GUYS. Digging back into the AO3 search pages will be WELL WORTH YOUR WHILE. 

While you’re there, please leave the authors some love, too--it’s super nice to know even your older work is still being appreciated!

WELCOME BACK!! :D Sorry in advanced for the long response, BUT HERE WE GOOOOO:

1. Ok, so I'm going more with Wu & Garm bring demi-gods sort of thing, so they both have long long loooooong ass life spans & they still both appear pretty young at this point. They'll age eventually [as maaaaybe a big part I was going to bring into play was Garm sacrificing his immortality for retaining his own humanity in the end!], but they probably look no older than their late 20's at this point.

2. Yeah lmao you blew his cover! But it's the Overlord! xP What I wanted to build on in the story is that when Garm was young, he explored beyond the boundaries of the world the FSM had created & the Overlord had been waiting for such an opportunity outside the void of creation, so he descended upon the poor boy without Garmadon ever knowing. For years, the Overlord acted like a guiding voice for Garm, starting sweet & helpful, before he slowly turned Garm toward violence & war, eventually just taking full control of him at some points... leading Garm far astray & remorseless corrupting the poor guy, seemingly beyond repair.

I was going to use it like a simile to depression & how I personally feel with my mental health struggles destroying my life at times... it's probably really obvious but it was a way for me to channel some frustrations, I suppose.

But, as the story progressed, I wanted to paint a very clear picture that Garm has oni blood, & despite most people thinking that's what makes him evil, it was the corruption of the Overlord that actually caused his dark actions. Garm on his own is a loud, goofy jerk, but the toxic, evil side to him was just the Overlord testing his powers over Garm after lingering in him for what? Some crazy amount of years!! & the Overlord was going to eventually attempt to trap Garm inside & take full control of Garm's life & body & everything, ruling all of Ninjago through the endless life of a powerful, immortal oni-demigod!!

... I realize I just wrote a lot to answer this one.... I hope this makes sense lol

3. & just as the Overlord is ruthlessly invading Garm's mind, the memories Koko saw from the past was from Yun, the FSM's true first child, who through the Amulet of Being, was basically trying to entering Koko's mind by offering her memories that would help Koko & Garm with the terrors to come.

Plus, I never got around to it, but it was eventually going to be revealed that Yun, her younger sister Lei Hui, & the FSM all gave their lives to protect against the dark forces in the world - COUGH COUGH the Overlord COUGH COUGH - & their souls were forged into the amulets that our evil Big Bad is chasing down... so Yun's spirit is currently trapped in the charm. Koko's nothing incredibly special [besides being a total butt kicking warrior!!] with a genuinely good soul, so by coming into contact with it, Yun felt safe to share life through her own point of view to Koko & that's what's going on with those windows to the past.

But Koko & Garm aren't related & the world is safe & we can enjoy the pairing without worrying about anything questionable 😅

Tbh I feel so clumsy when I try writing & I'm usually really afraid of asking for feedback when I'm writing or drawing anything so... I swear to god I had a cohesive story set up, but when I realized it was going to be like 20 more chapters, I got totally overwhelmed & kinda psyched myself out of writing anymore x(

17. why i chose my url: oh boy. time for an explanation nobody asked for but i'm gonna give it anyways >:) a saga in three parts:

1, my url for this blog (aurieeeeeenyx) has 6 e's because it stems from the original (aurienyx), and that's because it was originally supposed to be a sideblog/joke-y blog—being unoriginal (/hj), i decided to stretch the vowels cuz that's what meme subreddits did and i thought it would be funny

2, the name "aurienyx" has two parts: "aurie" and "nyx". "aurie" is cuz i take latin, and "aureus" is "gold (coin)" in latin and like. that's cool (also we used to do this thing in class where we'd give ourselves names in latin and mine was "aurelius/a"). "aurenyx" looked funky to me so i stuck an "i" in there and that was that. the "nyx" part is where it gets fun: i used to be (and still kinda am) a mythology geek thanks, pjo/hoo and i always liked the name "nix/nyx", so i was like ah yes goddess of night nyx that's great—BUT i also really like(d) phoenixes so i was like aha! double whammy! and then i mixed them together and here we are

3, the less important part, "aurienyx" is a fairly short name with three distinct syllables and therefore easier to remember so like. branding or something ig (i didn't think abt this til after lmao) (this doesn't apply much to the url for this blog cuz it's loooooong)

Favorite Movies as of 2021

Subject to updating because surely I’ve missed a few. This is not supposed to be a list of meritorious films but rather just a list of movies I genuinely enjoy. It runs from Shakespeare to Bill & Ted with heavy doses of 80s fantasy, superhero schlock, and pretty much anything with Kurt Russell in it. Enjoy.

1- Harvey No contest, my favorite of all time.

2- Big Trouble in Little China It’s always a great joy to introduce a new viewer to this film.

3- Flash Gordon (1980) In which they totally lean into the camp and low budget.

4- The Thing I watch this annually upon the first major snowfall.

5- Titus (Taymor) One winter break Titus would be on one of the movie channels each day when I woke up, so I watched it daily for a month and it didn’t get old.

6- Death to Smoochy “Are you alright?” “I’m a little fucked up in general so it’s hard to gauge.”

7- Blade Runner (The Final Cut) So there’s this dude Deckard and he hunts robots but it turns out HE’S a robot, oh so very clever, little film

8- Tombstone I recently learned that Kurt Russell directed this film in all but name.

9- The Dark Crystal Immersive fantasy, though I’m sure it appears plain, drab, and simple now after the Netflix prequel.

10- Somewhere in Time I’m a romantic, I guess. Thus all the John Carpenter movies.

11- Grosse Pointe Blank So good, I used to think I liked John Cusack.

12- The Producers (musical) You heard me. Wilder and Mostel were great but the musical version had decades to mill over and expand the premise.

13- To Be or Not To Be (Brooks) Surprisingly suspenseful.

14- The 13th Warrior Saw it again recently and it holds up. Horror, only it happens to viking warriors who would rather chop the horror down than run.

15- The Mighty Thor I mean, Black Panther is objectively the best of the lot but subjectively this is my personal favorite superhero flick. I must have seen it a half a dozen times at least.

16- Lost Boys A billion Chinese can’t be wrong.

17- Die Hard A Christmas tradition. As a postman, it’s cathartic for me to watch Christmas get blown up a little before all the hugging and sentiment.

18- The Blues Brothers Deadpan hilarity cut with performances by legends of blues and soul.

19- The Sting The best heist film. It keeps you guessing until the very end and no twist feels arbitrary or leaves a hole.

20- Interview with the Vampire Fun fact, I looked like Pitt’s Louis when I was a young man in the goth scene.

21- Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure “Be excellent to each other!” “Party on, dudes!” *air guitar*

22- The Seventh Seal See? This list has its high points.

23- Revolutionary Girl Utena Note: Read the entire manga, watch the entire anime series, and read Adolescence of Utena BEFORE watching this or you’ll be left confused. Dazzled but confused.

24- The Nightmare Before Christmas So good I got the tarot deck.

25- The Last Unicorn It’s still a damn shame they never made that live action remake. Christopher Lee was set to reprise King Haggard.

26- Chasing Amy Honestly changed my life.

27- Excalibur It’s weird though how they’re always in armor. Wedding? Armor. Dinner? Armor. Deathbed? Armor.

28- Ginger Snaps A cut above any other werewolf movie I’ve seen.

29- Top Secret! My sense of humor distilled.

30- Clash of the Titans (Harryhousen) Yeah it’s dry but then there’s the monsters.

31- Monty Python’s the Meaning of Life People are not wearing enough hats.

32- Shadow of the Vampire Nosferatu nearly made this list but it’s hard to pinpoint a definitive cut. Try instead this film about the making of Nosferatu with an actual vampire as the vampire.

33- Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust Look, we as a culture had the unfortunate experience of Twilight. This is the same premise but actually good.

34- The Last Supper This film challenged and changed me as a young man more so than any other work of art.

35- The Princess Bride The perfect film, but I’ve seen it so much it’s down at 35 now.

36- Blazing Saddles What can I as a white guy say? Just watch the movie.

37- Streets of Fire Always suspicious to me how Final Fight premiered within a year of this movie.

38- Gremlins More Christmas havok. Yum?

39- The Beastmaster Forgotten and underappreciated.

40- Ladyhawke A thing of beauty.

41- Willow C’mon. It’s Willow. I have nothing to justify here.

42- Speed Racer I know you heard it’s bad but hear me out: it is the strongest narrative I’ve ever seen on film and it’s exactly the way you played with your toy cars when you were little.

43- Angelheart You’re supposed to know that de Niro is Lucifer. The rest is mystery and the final reveal set up a trope that’s been done into the ground nowadays.

44- The Hunger More atmosphere than plot, but hey, vampire Bowie!

45- Zoolander My partner’s favorite.

46- Faust (Murnau) You will be shocked to see what was possible to achieve in film in 1926.

47- A Muppet Christmas Carol but a cut that includes the fiance’s song This finishes out my traditional Christmas films.

48- Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein Y’know, I’ve got two Branagh films on here and neither are what you would expect given his catalog. The other one’s Thor for crying out loud.

49- Highlander I noticed in recent editions of Vampire: the Masquerade that it’s still possible in that game to hide a katana in a trenchcoat. This movie is why.

50- The Name of the Rose One of only a few instances where I prefer the film to the book. That book loooooong.

51- Robocop (1987) Of all the damn science fiction, why must we be in Robocop?

52- The Prophecy Now we’re getting into films I demoted since the last time I updated this list. This film’s a slow burn unless you get turned up for angels and Christopher Walken like I do.

53- The Warriors Would be higher if the opening wasn’t so slow.

54- Legend Tim Curry kills it as Darkness.

55- Black Panther Objectively the best superhero movie and the Academy backs me on that one.

56- Wonder Woman I do wish they’d trot out Vandal Savage as a Wonder Woman villain.

57- Captain America: The Winter Soldier Just rewatched this one earlier! It is heavily marked by the height of the War on Terror.

58- Blade The ancestor of all modern superhero movies and a solid vampire flick to boot.

59- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Nostalgic for me? Maybe, but I hold that this is the first comic film worth a damn because they stuck with the comics when they wrote it.

60- Captain America: the First Avenger This movie is a real test of character. If someone doesn’t like Cap it’s because they think goodness is unrealistic.

61- Four Rooms Really just rooms 3 and 4.

62- Reservoir Dogs Hey, two Tim Roth films in a row!

63- Event Horizon Do you see?

64- What Dreams May Come Kind of an emotional ringer, especially after William’s death.

65- Monty Python and the Holy Grail Have I watched it into the ground? Yes. Is it still hilarious? Yes, and it gets funnier the more you study Arthurian myth.

66- Pulp Fiction I’m kinda over this now.

67- The Crow People who liked the comic passionately disagree with me but I still like this one.

Fight Club A suburb film but one I grew out of, as should everyone. If you meet a man who’s passionate about Fight Club, run!

American Psycho Ditto. I grew out of this but it’s still excellent.

What’s Eating Gilbert Grape A horrible caricature of my brother’s life. I don’t get along with my brother any more.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Not actually a good film if you watch it straight with no commentary. Still, it’s a cornerstone of queer culture.

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 Of all the superhero films, this is the one that resonated with me the most. I was in a weird place at the time. It still resonates with me now because I’m a foster dad.

New tag game: Post pictures of your first ever (fictional/celeb) crush to the latest one and tag five others to continue the game

Thanks to @minmoyu for tagging me and ooof, are you sure you’re ready for this?!! :D I have been around/in fandom for a loooooong time and at first I thought, okay, no way I can list all my crushes, there have been SO many and we’ll be here all day but then as I started compiling a list I found I was having fun reminiscing and decided, what the heck, yeah, let’s do em all... or at least all I can remember! :D

There have absolutely for sure been other more minor crushes and passing fancies along the way, but these are the big ones that I remember (and that, in more recent years, I can track by going through my posted fanfics on AO3 and even *shudder* FFNET and seeing which shows I was into enough to want to write fic about the characters).

[Quick note: with rare exceptions, for actors I am listing them by the character they played rather than just the actor. Whilst there are actors that I like in multiple roles (and conversely, characters who on paper I would normally be into but are played by actors who do nothing for me, and hence the character generally does nothing for me either), for the most part it is the character I really have the crush on.]

I’m going to put this under a readmore cos it has gotten ridiculously long:

So... without further ado:

1. MORTEN HARKET from a-ha - OKay so, dating myself badly here but... I had the *biggest* crush on Morten Harket when I was a teenager. Pretty much the entirety of my side of the bedroom I shared with my sister was covered in posters of a-ha, and Morten in particular. I even had a heart-shaped Morten Harket pillow! :D I loved a-ha’s music (still do!) and I wanted to go see them in concert when I was 14 but my parents wouldn’t let me (*sob*). I did finally get to see them in concert in the early 2000s and they were BRILLIANT live (and Morten was still very very pretty)! 

2. RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON as MACGYVER - MacGyver is the first tv character I remember being really into and having a crush on, to the extent that I would record episodes of the show off the tv (onto VHS tape - yes, I am *that* old!) so that I could rewatch them (especially the ones where he got hurt - yeah, I was a whumper even then! :D)

3. KEIFER SUTHERLAND - One of my rare exceptions. I think I first saw him in Lost Boys (and loved him in that film) but it was his role as Doc Scurlock in Young Guns that really made me fall for both the character and him. I definitely remember seeking out any and all films he was in and buying any magazine he was interviewed in (and knowing far more facts about him than was probably healthy! :D) and even drawing a fanart portrait of him. :)

4. KYLE MACLACHLAN as SPECIAL AGENT DALE COOPER - I remember hearing about Twin Peaks before it started airing in the UK and it sounded so different and interesting... I watched it from the very first episode and very quickly developed a crush on Coop.  

5. BRENT SPINER as DATA - I think ST: TNG had been airing for a while before I stumbled across it but I quickly became hooked and Data was my favourite character right from the start. I definitely remember at one point buying an (unofficial) episode guide book so that I could look up which episodes were good Data-focused ones (especially ones where he got hurt! :D) so I could go out and buy the videos that had those episodes on (at the time the show was available to buy on VHS-tape with 2 episodes on each tape).

6. DAVID DUCHOVNY as FOX MULDER - Another show that I heard the buzz about and started watching right from the start and, like so many others, I immediately developed a crush on the snarky, enigmatic, troubled FBI agent with the weird name. The X-Files was the first show I ever tried writing (one, never-finished) fanfic for.

7. PAUL GROSS as BENTON FRASER - Man, Due South was such a good show! It was so quirky and clever and funny and Benton Fraser, with his huge heart and his serious demeanour and his gorgeous blue eyes, was just so darn attractive! He also got whumped a fair bit too! :D Due South was also the show that introduced me to the music of Sarah McLachlan (I was enough of a fan that I bought the show soundtrack on CD).

8. HUGH LAURIE as DR GREGORY HOUSE - This was a bit of an odd one for me because I had grown up knowing Hugh Laurie solely as a comedian/comic actor, known mostly for playing buffoons and genial idiots. And suddenly here he was with stubble, an American accent, and a limp, and he was hawt AF! :D It caused quite the feedback loop in my brain for a while which pretty much went “Wow, House is hot.... but it’s Hugh Laurie... but he’s hot... but it’s HUGH LAURIE!!1!”

I *loved* House (the first few seasons, at least) and oof a character with persistent pain (and a self-destructive streak a mile wide!) was a whumper’s dream. House was the first show for which I wrote - and published online - completed fanfics.

8. JOE FLANIGAN as JOHN SHEPPARD - Stargate Atlantis was my first proper online fandom, the first show I prolifically and repeatedly wrote fanfic for, and the first time I ever met in person an actor I was a big fan of (and while the show was still airing, to boot!). It was also my first introduction to the online community of whumpers! A bunch of us from the Shep Whump thread on Gateworld heard that Joe was going to be at a convention in London and we decided to book hotel rooms and meet up and go to the convention together and it was AWESOME! I can still remember seeing Joe *in person* for the first time and just,,,, struggling to believe he was actually here, in person, in front of me! He was super super lovely and humble too and took time to chat to everyone at the signing table and I clearly remember my brain just pretty much fritzing out during the photo session and being intensely aware of the sensation of Joe’s hand on my shoulder....

It was also super lovely to meet fellow fans, and online friends, in person for the first time and we had so much fun, and it kickstarted me going to lots of other conventions, including specific Stargate/SGA ones where I got to know lots of other lovely fans and online friends. I’ve met Joe about 4 or 5 times in total now and he’s been lovely every time.

9. PAUL BLACKTHORNE as HARRY DRESDEN - Gosh I loved the shortlived tv adaptation of The Dresden Files. I loved the fantasy aspect, the stories, the humour, and I especially loved Harry Dresden and how often he got whumped! :D 

10. DAVID TENNANT as THE 10TH DOCTOR - I had watched the Christopher Ecclestone revival of Doctor Who and enjoyed it well enough but I can clearly remember watching David Tennant’s first episode as The Doctor - on Christmas Day, at my brother-in-law’s house - and being aware, as I watched it that... ooookay, yes, I’m in trouble here... I like him... I like him a lot... :D I mean, I’m sure the fact that he got whumped so thoroughly in his very first episode had nothing to do with how quickly I fell for him... right? :)

11. ALEX O’LAUGHLIN as MICK ST JOHN - Another show that ended far too soon and just as it was getting *seriously* good. But also a prime example of my point about having a crush on the character not the actor. I looooooved Alex as Mick St John... and yet in Hawaii 5.0 he pretty much does nothing for me (the character is too stoic and the whump often too unrealistically glossed over). Anyway, in Moonlight he was my favourite kind of character - angsty, brooding, dangerous AF when he needed to be... and essentially immortal so you could whump the heck out of him and he’d recover so you could whump him again! :D

12. SIMON BAKER as PATRICK JANE - There is so much to love about Patrick Jane... his smarts, his sass, his angst... and Simon is a rare “against type” blonde crush for me (you may have noticed by now that most of my crushes follow a similar physical aesthetic - tall, slim/wiry, and dark-haired) and again here I think my crush is almost all to do with the character rather than the actor.

12. BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH as SHERLOCK HOLMES - I’m almost ashamed to admit it, given the clusterfuck that both the show and its fandom became, but in the earlier seasons I had quite the crush on Benedict’s Sherlock (and okay, a little bit on Benedict himself - I did definitely enjoy some of his other roles too). It helps that I was already a huge fan of the Sherlock Holmes character (I’ve read all the stories and novels multiple times and was a big fan of the Granada adaptation starring Jeremy Brett - whose Holmes would definitely count as one of my more minor/passing crushes) already. Benedict is another crush that I have met in person, at a (actually, the first!) Sherlock convention and he was lovely in person - very genuine, very articulate and thoughtful.

13. TOM MISON as ICHABOD CRANE - I was excited for Sleepy Hollow as soon as I heard about it and I was SUCH a fan for the first couple of seasons (before TPTB completely destroyed it and it inevitably got cancelled (I didn’t even watch the last season and a half)) and Tom’s Ichabod (and his amazing chemistry with Nicole’s Abbie) was a large part of why. I also quickly became a big fan of Tom himself as he came across as so witty and self-deprecating and *fun* in all the behind the scenes/convention clips etc. I was lucky enough to also meet Tom at a convention and he genuinely is that witty and charming and lovely.

14. TOM WISDOM as ARCHANGEL MICHAEL - I think Dominion was possibly the first show that I got sucked into by seeing whumpy gifsets on tumblr! :D It was such a great show and also to date the most immersive, welcoming, cast-and-crew-interactive fandom I have ever been in. The cast and crew regularly live-tweeted the episodes, and interacted with fans on Twitter, and it was SO much fun. And Tom’s Michael was my favourite character right from the start - seemingly aloof but so much going on under the surface... and some really nice whump, especially in season 2! I was heartbroken when it was cancelled after only 2 seasons (and just as the plot was getting *really* interesting).

15. OLIVER JACKSON-COHEN as LUCAS - I was hooked on Emerald City right from the first episode. It was visually stunning, so atmospheric, and really intruiging. I love love loved Adria Arjona’s Dorothy (ngl, I had a bit of a crush on her too) and she and Lucas together were just... *chef’s kiss*. I mean... what an introduction to a character... she finds him crucified, bleeding, his wrists tied with barbed wire, and amnesiac.... and the whump only gets better and better from there on in! Like the entire first two episodes are just... Lucas whump! :D And his devotion to her... Emerald City was honestly the first show where I really got into a ship. I was *invested* in Dorcas, dammit! Aaaand sadly another excellent show that never made it past its first season.

16. JASON RALPH as QUENTIN COLDWATER - Another show that I watched right from the start, was heavily invested in.... and that the writers absolutely tanked and destroyed in later seasons. *cries* Quentin was such a brilliant viewpoint character for the show and I loved his awkwardness, and his angst, and his enthusiasm, and his adorable floppy hair... and how often he got whumped! 

17. COLIN MORGAN - I fell for Colin in Merlin (which I stumbled upon late, long after it had finished airing, and hence was able to binge-watch the entire 5 seasons!) and liked him enough to seek out his other works, such as The Fall, and Humans, and The Living and the Dead, and he was brilliant (and very pretty) in all of them... and his characters also seem to get whumped quite a lot! :D 

18. MATT LANTER as WYATT LOGAN - Wyatt was another of my favourite archetypes... absolutely badass and competent... but also tortured and angsty and capable of intense devotion. Another show that I watched because of whumpy gifs on tumblr and the second ever show where I actually got invested in a ship - Lyatt all the way, baby!! :D - aaaaaand yet another show cancelled before its time.

19. NOCTIS LUCIS CAELUM from FINAL FANTASY XV - my very first video game crush! I was recommended to play FFXV by fellow whumpers on the whumpshire discord because it was whumpy... and they were not wrong and I loved the game and I absolutely adored Noctis. FFXV is one of very very VERY few video games that I have actually played right through to the end. And possibly the only video game that has ever affected me to such an extent... I became so invested in the characters and their world and I actually found the last couple of chapters really hard to play because it was actually upsetting me emotionally. I had to take a break for a couple of weeks before I could go back and finish it!

20. CONNOR from DETROIT BECOME HUMAN - and from there I jumped straight into another video game crush! DBH was another game recommended to me for its whump potential and I, and many others, immediately fell in love with the quirky, sassy, self-sacrificing (if you play the game right!) “android sent by Cyberlife”. The game itself is really good too... although, I have tried to play through all the different endings to the story but have never yet managed to make myself play the machine Connor storyline.... I want to complete all the story branches... but I also just want Hank and Connor to be friends and to be happy! :D

21. ZHU YILONG - Ahhh... the beginning of the asian drama arc of my fandom life! I first came across Zhu Yilong after getting sucked into watching Guardian because of pretty (and whumpy) gifs on tumblr... and I’ve never looked back. He is one of the rare entries where I am pretty much guaranteed to like him in pretty much anything he does and my crush extends beyond Shen Wei, or his other characters, and into reblogging his fashion shoot photos, and keeping up with news of his work in general. He’s just... so darn pretty! And also so... blur! :D And the behind the scenes stuff and interviews of him with Bai Yu, during the Guardian era, just made me fall for him all the more. He’s also ridiculously talented - not only a fantastic actor, but a really good singer (I love his singing voice), he plays guitar and piano, and he can paint too!!

He’s also pretty much what made me start learning Chinese... because after Guardian I went seeking his other dramas to watch... only to find that many of them are only partially, or not at all, subbed. So I thought... why not try learning Chinese and then I’ll be able to watch his other shows? :D

21. JI CHANG WOOK - My first kdrama crush, and what a good one to start with! Healer was the first drama I ever watched and can you blame me for falling for JCW... especially when I followed up Healer with The K2?! I’ve liked him in pretty much everything I’ve watched him in. Although I do wish he would go back to doing more action-based shows as he is sooo good at them... but he seems to prefer the romcom genre these days, which is something I am nottt always a fan of tbh.

22. JAKE HSU as MENG SHAO FEI - Yet another show that I got sucked into by tumblr - and also one with a great, fun fandom through which I met lots of lovely people who I still follow/am mutuals with to this day. I just *adored* Jake’s character in History and I also loved the ship - Tang Fan and Meng Shaofei were awesome and adorable together and I was totally invested in both the ship and the gangster/cop/what happened years ago story happening alongside the ship. And Jake is just all kinds of cute.

23. XIAO ZHAN - Aaaand we are pretty much up to current day now... where The Untamed took over my life in the summer of 2019 and has yet to let me go. Xiao Zhan is another disgustingly talented human being - a fantastic singer and a really good actor, and also an artist - and he also just comes across as a genuinely sweet and charming person, and a very thoughful and earnest one too. And lbr he is ridiculously pretty, and his smile is just pure sunshine. 

24. LEE DONG WOOK as LEE YEON - The most recent entry to the charts.... a Korean actor I was aware of but whose work I hadn’t watched and whose looks didn’t particularly seem to grab me... until I watched Tale of the Nine Tailed and fell head over heels for Lee Yeon (and daaayum does red hair suit LDW!!) and very quickly began to find LDW’s looks very appealing (and oh my, does Lee Yeon whump well!!). And yes, I have now started watching Goblin. :D

Phew! Aaaand we are done! I’ll admit, I did think of a few more as I was compiling this list but I decided to categorise them as more “minor” crushes and not include them... otherwise we really could be here all day!!

3 ships: This probably means all time ships so best all time ships are Hannigram from Hannibal and SilverFlint from Black Sails. And also Theon/Robb from GoT/ASOIAF, of course. Also lately I’ve found a new ship that is reserving a lot of my emotional capacity. This summer I finally decided to give South Park a watch and I meant it to be a show I casually watch and do NOT grow too attached to but oh boy that plan did not work out AT ALL. I’ve watched almost all 23 seasons in less than three months, and Stan/Kyle ship has taken over me.

Last Song: One Direction’s Home. 10 year 1D anniversary was a while ago and due to that I’ve been listening to a lot of 1D.

Last Movie: Not exactly a movie but yes a movie: I watched the official live recording of the musical Hamilton! Man that was good.

Currently Reading: I always have more than one book on my “currently reading” list. Among these books is the 10th Wheel of Time book (10th of the Finnish series where each original book is split into two or three parts bc Finnish is a language of loooooong words), a book that’s supposed to help me write my master’s thesis and a book that’s supposed to tell me how to become an investor xd

Currently Watching: Well like I said I’ve watched South Park this summer and pretty much nothing else.

Dragon Disciple Tips

This is going to be a longer (and less specific) post than what @i-am-the-incendiary-anarchist requested, as there’s a lot you can do with this prestige class (it’s really good as is and you can get rid of all of its drawbacks).

If people still want (see the Spells section), I could answer IA’s question more directly, but it would end up being at least as long as this post on its own.

Why Dragon Disciple?

I have to say, I was surprised when I saw how much better the Dragon Disciple prestige class was in 3.P compared to the 3.5 one (which gave you seven bonus spell slots “as if from having a high ability score” that “can be added to to any level of spells the disciple already has the ability to cast,” but no other casting advancement). The one main drawback between the two (no more Dragon Apotheosis) is either peanuts (probably) or a major nerf (unlikely), depending on your interpretation of that ability’s wording.¹

The favored class bonus you’d get from Sorcerer.

If you take Favored Prestige Class once and Prestigious Spellcaster (Paths of the Righteous), you ignore those drawbacks (except any specific favored class bonus your race might provide). Yes: at the cost of four feats, not only does the class have (basically) no drawbacks, but it is in every way better than staying in your main class.

Had Paizo (or anyone else) made similar prestige classes for the other bloodlines, I would tell people never to stay in Sorcerer for 20 levels unless there’s some super special awesome specific reason. These boil down to an archetype that’s important (I doubt there is one) or a build that requires too many of your feats for the expenditure.

That last is a fair concern: without taking Prestigious Spellcaster once, you lose 9th-level spells. Spell levels offer exponential growth in power, whereas this class mainly provides padding for the drawbacks of playing a Sorcerer if you intend on getting into melee or using a lot of spells that require non-touch attack rolls. Further, you have to spend all four feats to make up for losing half of your 9th-level spell slots (the second feat only gives you a single extra slot).

If you’re not going straight Sorcerer beforehand...

Unless you’re making a gish and don’t have a better idea of how you want to advance your character, the above also doesn’t apply to multiclass Sorcerers. Bards, Bloodragers, Skalds, and Summoners (normal or Unchained) can also enter the class, as can members of classes with archetypes that provide spontaneous arcane casting (I know there are some for Spiritualist, Vigilante, and Witch). Of these, I think Bloodragers get the most benefit, but otherwise it’s kinda like multiclassing into Bloodrager, but without bloodrage (pro and con).

What Spells Should I Take?

This was Incendiary Anarchist’s question. There are really four answers to this question:

Recommended general use spells. As a Sorcerer, you’re essentially a wad of wands (rather than a stash of scrolls, which is the Wizard or Witch). Thus, you’re going to want to have spells which will come in handy in a lot of situations (fireball, dimension door/teleport, various illusions, telekinesis, divinations, dispel magic, etc.), plus ones which fit your theme. The other points are about theme, so don’t forget to get general use spells.

Spells that complement your energy type. The general consensus on casters is that if you specialize in a given energy type, you are going to run into problems once the DM decides they’ve had enough of your shenanigans and/or wants to run an Outsider. (It used to be that the consensus was on Fire being a weak energy type due to how common resistances and immunities to it are, but I wrote an analysis on my main blog a while back about that. I should probably update that.)

Get attack spells which rely on other energy types, but focus primarily on yours. After all, your Bloodline Arcana boosts the power of the elemental energies you inherited from Dragons (after all, mechanically-speaking Dragons are basically reptilian elementals [but much more badass]).

(Tenser’s) Transformation and other spells for melee. The Draconic bloodline and the Dragon Disciple are focused on giving you perks which will only work in melee. There’s very little need for a Strength buff to a caster (unless you’re going Arcane Archer, which is about adding the bow’s range [somehow unaffected by pull] to your spells) and so it is above all other stats my recommended dump stat for any spellcaster regardless of class unless they intend on being a gish (Eldritch Knight type). @we-are-eldritch-knight no doubt has a loooooong list of good spells to take if you are planning on going that route, which is what you’re doing by taking this class.

Off-hand, bear’s endurance/bull’s strength/cat’s grace, enlarge person, magic fang (if you can find a way of getting it), expeditious retreat, haste, and anything that boosts your AC are all good starters. Temporary HP is also handy.

Since you’re going to be in melee anyway, ranged touch spells aren’t as important for you. Melee touch spells suddenly become quite handy (see Other Suggestions, though.)

Spells your dragon ancestor gets as spell-like abilities or which replicate their other magical abilities. Incendiary Anarchist was looking for a list like this (and I could do a Part 2 if people want), but this entry is already quite long (it would at least double in length) and there are (to my knowledge) 30 types of True Dragons in the Bestiaries alone (5 for each kind x 6 kinds [Chromatic, Esoteric, Metallic, Outer, Primal, and 5 of the 9 Planar]) plus the four remaining PF Planar Dragons (Apocalypse [NE] and Bliss [NG] are in Pathfinder Adventure Path #137: Return of the Runelords, part 5 - “The City Outside Time;” Tumult [CN] are in #138 [”Rise of New Thassilon”], but aren’t listed on d20pfsrd.com at all [they are on Archives of Nethys, though]; Edict [LN] are in #131 [War for the Crown, part 5 “The Reaper’s Right Hand”]; no idea where the CN one is), the Gem dragons (3.x, MMII and Psionics Handbook [Web Enhancement] with updates for 3.5), the Lung Dragons (Oriental Adventures), and then the ones that don’t scale with age (e.g, Vishaps; IIRC, the 3.5 planar dragons don’t).

That’s not getting into drakes or dragonets. You have a lot of options when it comes to dragons. Most of the true dragons and the drakes are tied to a particular element, so that at least narrows your focus a bit, but some (e.g., faerie dragons) mix being a dragon with being something else. Dragons, Outsiders, and Humans tend to breed with just about anything, so of course there’s variety. (Don’t forget Couatls or Hydras, neither of which are Dragons by type but should be.)

Other Suggestions

Before I get sidetracked on ways to make a gish, d20pfsrd.com has a list of 3rd Party feats by Louis Porter Jr. made specifically for the Dragon Disciple (printed in Undefeatable: The Collected Feats Sourcebook, which probably means it came out first in one of the other books in that series). These cover some of the True Dragons’ magical abilities, which should free up many of your spell slots. Do note that they don’t count as part of your Bloodline’s bonus feats but do require a minimum Dragon Disciple level, so if you intend on taking them, you should take Favored Prestige Class and Prestigious Spellcaster early on (you can take Favored Prestige Class before getting into one; Prestigious Spellcaster seems to work that way - or is at least implied to [CHECK WITH YOUR DM ABOUT THAT]).

In the past couple of weeks, I’ve come across two Metamagic feats which replicate the Duskblade’s Arcane Channeling and the Magus’s Spellstrike abilities. The first is Smiting Spell, which takes extra actions to accomplish than you might want (it doesn’t spell out what those actions are, it’s just worded very similarly to spell storing, meaning you have to cast the spell in question into your weapon before hitting someone with it). The other I have sadly lost track of; I’ll update this later once I find it. Bear in mind that if you go this route, you’ll need a feat, trait, or alternate class feature/archetype to speed up your metamagic, otherwise you won’t be effective.

If you are going to alter your energy types, take either Energy Affinity or Energy Substitution (both 3.5) instead of Elemental Spell (PF): all of them let you swap out a spell’s damage type for the single energy type you selected, but the 3.5 ones are +0 spell level adjustment metamagics while Elemental Spell is +1. Elemental Spell doesn’t specify that it can only apply to spells with an energy descriptor, but that’s not much of a benefit. It’s +1 because it also lets you split your damage evenly between two types, but there’s no reason to do that except for thematics. (You’d use that for Trolls and that’s about it.) Energy Admixture (also 3.5) works similarly, but instead of halving your damage instead doubles it (one set per energy type); it’s +4 spell level. Again, there’s little reason to take either of those.

There is a Sudden Energy Affinity (requires Energy Affinity), but you could do better by finding a feat to ignore the increased casting time on Metamagic.

None of these really solve the problem D&D has of pigeonholed elementalists (pyromancers, etc.) having trouble against enemies you’d expect to encounter. For that, there are feats that allow you to penetrate energy resistance and immunity. That said, I’m not sure every DM will allow them. (I personally don’t think Fire Elementals, being made out of fire, should ever take fire damage.)

Bear in mind that Metallic dragons have two breath weapons naturally, but Metallic Half-Dragons, Draconic bloodline Sorcerers, and Dragon Disciples only get one. Most of these secondary breath weapons are all cones of crowd control gas (Brass: sleep; Bronze: repulsion; Copper: slow [as the spell]; Silver: paralysis) except for the Gold, which has a cone of gas that deals Strength damage (Fort vs. -1 per age category). The Dragonfire Adept (Dragon Magic, 3.5) gets some of these as options, but it’s a base class and the only way I know to combine invocation-users with spellcasters is through the Eldritch Theurge (which is specifically for Warlocks, as it requires eldritch blast). Your options are mainly that or spells.

Most of the advice I’d give on this boils down to making a gish or making a focused elementalist, which each deserve their own entries. Bear in mind that a Monk’s Flurry of Blows does not stack with natural attacks (there’s a feat out there for that, but it’s third party), so that’s not a great path to take in this case. If you want more prestige to such a build, you’re going to want five levels in another prestige class and then a way of advancing your Bloodline.

¹ Dragon Apotheosis is ambiguous; it reads: “At 10th level, a Dragon Disciple takes on the Half-Dragon template. His breath weapon reaches full strength (as noted above), and he gains +4 to Strength and +2 to Charisma. His natural armor bonus increases to +4, and he acquires low-light vision, 60-foot Darkvision, immunity to sleep and paralysis effects, and immunity to the energy type used by his breath weapon.” These happen to enumerate the benefits of the Half-Dragon template that the class doesn’t already provide (except for type change and doubling the flight speed the class does give). However, it doesn’t say that this is an enumeration of those benefits or in addition to them.

The reasonable interpretation is that it’s just enumeration.

Still, it could mean that you effectively get the template twice. For the most part, that’s redundant (most of the abilities wouldn’t stack), but it would nonetheless net you +16 Str, +4 Con, +4 Int, +4 Cha, and a +8 increase to Natural Armor (meaning you could have some from another source and this stack with it), which would make up for playing mono-Sorcerer before entering a gish class.

For my look at nerfing/changes, I’ll go with the reasonable interpretation:

Sorcerer Bloodlines in Pathfinder tend not to change your type, so the ability to ignore dominate person is a nerf. The Draconic bloodline doesn’t give you Darkvision or low-light vision, though those are fairly easy to get otherwise. The main losses (which I think, if they aren’t oversights, are ways of balancing the increased spellcasting) are +4 Str, +2 Cha, and +1 Nat Armor. The only one of these I’d be terribly upset about is the Charisma bump, given your casting: you can get the others through spells when you need them without much trouble.

1. I LOVE chocolate but hate any other kind of sweets, but if it has chocolate I would most likely eat it.

2. I’m currently doing an international student exchange program in Spain (which is kinda crazy bc it was one of my goals and dreams since I was at school)

3. I have migraines, and when they come, I cannot even look the slightest light. It’s awfully hurtful.

4. One of my favorite anime and manga is Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Even though I have a lot of issues with the pace, the characters and with the story in general; it always reminds me of my childhood and everytime I rewatch/reread it, I fall in love again. (Also, when will we get a second season pls)

5. As a child, I used to practice ballet which I love(d) to death. This year, I decided to resumed it and I had the best months in years. (I had to leave it again bc of point 2)

6. My grandpa was a renamed cartoonist loooooong time ago. He used to work on the most famous newspaper in my home country and so many other things. All of this is really funny if you get to see any of my drawings. I cannot even pick up a pencil, for real. To solve this, my mother took me to drawing lessons, which is the only lesson I’ve ever failed in my whole life. A real tragedy. I’m the disgrace of a family. I cannot even paint without leaving the line. (Which also makes me admire every artist out there bc, guys you’re really talented and patient)

7. I have a lot of issues with technology. Like, sometime I cannot even download some apps bc i can’t understand how to do it. It always frustrates me cause I’m constantly shutting my notifications down and all sort of things and then don’t understand why my best friend isn’t talking to me just to discover that I'M the one who hasn't answer.

This one was quite funny to write, thinking about 7 things that are kinda random but yet interesting, hope the blogs that I’ll ask also do this!!
