i stepped up to kingdom Kupa Keep to meet the newfound princess, princess kenny—never expecting her to be so majestic, beautiful, stunning, adorable.. what other words could i possibly use to describe this girl? it only makes sense how she was selected princess. boy do these people have taste,,

i started to play this new game with my class and my best friends, stan, kyle, cartman and kenny. so far i find it nice! i mean it’s kind of a better DND. but not for super-nerds. just regular nerds.

walking up to the *very beautiful* majesty i bow my head down slightly towards her, making sure i never took my eyes off (who would want to anyway :3) “hello, dear princess kenny!!” i greet her, smiling at her—fixing my hair to make sure i don’t look like a bum in-front of this adorable babe. “huhu! hello! i understand you know my name, but yours is?”

“ooh! im [namey name ;3] im sure evryone has told you, but your so elegant!” i remind her, staring into her beautiful deep purple eyes. i notice her brush off her dress, scoff and a tiny blush spread across her hooded face. “wh- well thank you! i actually don’t get that a lot, so i appreciate that :)” she retorts in an even softer tone from her normal confident and wavy voice, cupping her left cheek with her left hand.

“[namey name], why don’t you come over to my palace for some tea, if you wish?” princess kenny proposes a brilliant idea, i assume that’s a regular thing <3 “of course! i would be more than happy to spend an afternoon with Kupa Keep’s princess. :3” i silently-shriek out loud, watching all the people of the fellow kingdom stare at me in envy. “well for now, why don’t we take a walk?”

her big eyes bat her eyelashes and before i can answer wit an exaggerated yes she carefully gets up off of her throne, taking my hand in her soft, gloved, hand. i stare at her in awe and start gliding my feet along with hers across the ol backyard we stood in, i feel amazing with princess kenny with me.

it’s something i havent felt before, is it a lovely envy? is it admiration? it can’t be love, no way,, i just met this girl! i remind myself. the word girl stains my mind… girl girl girl girl. why am i feeling like this if we’re both girls? you know what.. that’s the least of my concerns, as far as i know it’s just kenny, not a real girl.

but why am i upset that he isn’t a “real girl”? i thought that if i let myself realize princess kenny was really a boy, my worries would set aside, but i only got more and more upset, confused :( i stare at the ground as i feel my body tug—“[namey name] is everything alright? what was with that sudden stop is the weather too cold?” she questions me, cara mia! how i love hearing her say my name. it’s like angels have come down from heaven and had graced me with their voice.

“oh, yeah i’m alright!i just had to think about a little something for a sec, we can continue now <3” i reassure her, telling her she had nothing to worry about and i was fine with walking with her, hell i knew so well i was more than fine walking with her. “well i hope that something wasn’t making you upset! we can always do something else if you wish, you are the guest after all :)” she stops me in the middle of the sidewalk, taking my forearms into her hands—staring at me with innocent eyes. “wha?! of course not! but i would be open to do anything you want to!” i bluff. it was practically love at first sight with this girl! i couldn’t tell her how i feel right now..

as we keep walking we chat up a storm, playfully grabbing each others hands, giggling, blushing, looking away.. <;3 “huhu— [namey name]! such a flirt! who would have known a lady like you could be so charming!” she’d compliment me from time to time, making my cheeks heat up. “well look at you! who wouldn’t wanna charm such an eye candy of a prin,,,,” i’d wanna retort, but get cut off by elves swarming infront of us. “GET THE PRINCESS FIRST” i hear one of them yell, without a thought in mind i swoop princess kenny off her feet, bridal style and begin darting down the way we came.

picking up the pace i take my wand out of a pocket in my cloak and cast some spell at the top of my head, it knocks the elves back and i keep running with the maiden. huffing and almost out of breath i get back to Kupa Keep and alert the people that elves were coming to wreak havoc. setting the princess down behind a rather large tree as i hide with her i assume someone’s keeping watch of the stick. i yell to everyone that sit infront of us, rather far away from our hiding spot that the elves are coming.

“oh thank you, thank you [namey name]! for i could have gotten much more than hurt back there,,” she clamors, very faintly shaking with some sort of fear. “we’re gonna be alright princess, i promise you. these slimy elves can do nothing to your glowing kingdom.” i hesitate to say your, as i want to say our. but how could i be thinking of love in a striking time like this? who wouldn’t wanna think of loving a beautiful princess in a striking time like this.

as i hear one final shriek before the backyard goes silent, i look at princess kenny as she looks back at me. i nod and smile as i hold her even tighter, emerging from the tree. watching as a final elf gets dragged out, i set princess kenny down and we cheer in unison as everyone else in the kingdom follows along. princess kenny settles everyone down as she takes a hand and places it in my direction.

“everyone, i don’t think we would have gotten this done as fast as we did without the help of my lovely mage, [namey name].” she announces, and everyone looks at me as i have a short smile on my face, waving out to the kingdom.

i wish i could write bc id be flooding the tag with domestic aa x tav. i finally ascended him, and i know a lot of people don’t like it (i didn’t at first), but i love the contrast for certain tav’s

astarion may have changed, but so has tav. they show love in their own ways, and astarion loves showering tav with lavish gifts and grand gestures. he is able to extend a bit more of his powers to tav, allowing them to enjoy the taste of human food once again without puking it all back up, tasting of bitter ashes. helps them see a bit more color, so that they can enjoy the sunsets and sunrises together.

i want them lounging in bed, tav reading aloud the latest gazette to amuse themselves with petty news but no puzzles (a travesty!).

i want loving glances from across the room, the way astarion never leaves their side for long. not in a clingy, hovering kind of way (even thought that’s definitely a bit of it). more like….a string that ties them together, they never stray far or for long.

they’re villains together, their skill sets complimenting each others. like dangerous predators who lick their mates clean after a bloody battle with their prey.

nobody else matters, they’re untouchable and in love for eternity. they deserve it after everything they’ve been thru together :-3c

What IS Reality Shifting? (+ Intro!)

Hello! I am Sunny (He/they)! I’ll do my best not to format this like an essay I phoned in at 2 am, but I might slip up, so bear with me.

[If I don’t cover something you’re curious about, feel free to shoot me an ask! I’ll answer anything that I can. Now, without further ado...!]

Reality Shifting (Less commonly referred to as ‘Quantum Jumping’) is the practice of becoming aware of your consciousness in another reality, and ‘moving’ from your Original Reality into your Desired Reality.

The reality that you ‘shift’ to (aka your Desired Reality/DR) can be absolutely anything, from being the exact same your Original Reality but with your bedroom being a different color to a reality where you’re roasting marshmallows with Izuku Midoriya! Regardless, wherever you choose to go, it is equally as real as this reality that you’re currently reading this in.

All that aside, how do you actually attempt shifting? There’s a variety of methods, such as the Julia Method, Raven Method, or a simple guided meditation. For today, however, I will be explaining one of the simplest methods.

Whilst you can shift with intent alone, if you’d like to have something physical to assist you, then the Pillow Method may be what you’re looking for. To perform it, one must write down their shifting script (or even just some shifting affirmations) on a piece of paper and place it under their pillow. And… that’s it! Just go to sleep, and tell yourself that you’re going to wake up in your desired reality.

Woah, but, wait a second, what even goes in a script???

Glad you asked! A script is pretty much just a set of filters or directions for wherever you’re trying to go, but (usually!) formatted in a more wiki-like or narrative fashion (depending.) Additionally, whilst the amount of time it takes to shift successfully is varied (taking anywhere from one single attempt to multiple years of on-and-off work), it is still something that ANYONE can do. NOBODY is unable to shift, even if they believe otherwise. Of course, a positive mindset will help you shift faster, though!

For further context, I’ve defined a few terms below~^^

CR = Current Reality and OR = Original Reality

CR/OR are the most popular ways to refer to the reality that you reside(d) in prior to shifting to your Desired Reality (another term I’ll define momentarily.) Though there is arguments to be had about which phrasing is more accurate, both are still generally accepted. To simplify it, the reality that you are currently in as you are reading this is considered your CR/OR.

DR = Desired Reality and IR = Intended Reality

DR/IR are the most popular ways to refer to the reality that you desire to shift to. Again, it’s a matter of opinion whether DR or IR should be used, but both are generally accepted.

WR = Waiting Room

A WR, or a Waiting Room, is a place that some shifters use as a midway point between their OR and their DR. As with any other reality, this place can look any number of ways, but most people tend to script a few aspects consistently, such as: 1) A bedroom and/or place to edit your scripts 2) A butler or friend of some sort (ex. Sebastian Michaelis) 3) A number of doors or other ways to enter their various DRs.

Script

A paper or document laying out what you expect to be present within the DR! Think of it like a roadmap to wherever you’re trying to go, or filters on a search engine (or on AO3.) As a reminder, here’s the example from earlier.

Safe Word

A word that the shifter selects ahead of time that will instantly transfer them back to their Original Reality! (Alternatively, you could script that it brings you to your Waiting Room, as I have. :3c)

Similarly, one could script a ‘safe action’, such as clicking their heels three times.

Symptoms

Symptoms refer to physical or mental side-effects related to shifting. They are NOT necessary to shift! You can shift without having symptoms. That being said, many people do experience them in the form of dizziness, headaches, a feeling of floating, and so on.

Shifting Method

A ‘Shifting Method’ refers to a specific set of steps that someone might follow in order to shift. These can include guided meditations, performing a specific set of steps, and other things like that. There are dozens of methods, with some of the most popular being the Julia Method, the Raven Method, and the No Method.

Clone

‘Clone’ is a non-literal term for the version of your consciousness left behind once you’ve shifted to your desired reality. It is a version of you that continues to exist whilst you’re away, doing all the same things you would regularly do, typically completely unaware that you’ve shifted until you return and merge with the consciousness.

Permashifting

‘Permashifting’ refers to the practice of not returning to your OR after shifting to your DR. It does not mean that you cease to exist in your OR, as your clone will still be present.

Respawning

Similar to ‘Permashifting’, though different in one crucial way! ‘Respawning’ refers to the practice of shifting out of your OR and severing all ties with it, thus disallowing yourself from shifting back. This CANNOT happen by accident, so don’t worry about that!

Blockage

A ‘blockage’ refers to something preventing you from shifting realities. These typically include low confidence, lack of faith, and the like. However, you CAN still shift with blockages! Most people simply find it more difficult.

Affirmations

Positive statements that one repeats to themself to assist with belief in whatever they’re proclaiming. (Examples being ‘I have shifted’, ‘shifting is easy’, and ‘I am in my desired reality.’)

Subliminals

‘Subliminals’ are extremely quiet, nearly inaudible, affirmations, typically played alongside music (with or without lyrics.) They are not necessary, but do assist some people in gaining confidence or comfort in their shifting journey. Be sure to check the comments and make sure that nobody reports negative side-effects, as some subliminals are laced with negative affirmations (though they are a minority.)

Time Ratio

A ‘time ratio’ refers to a ratio set by the shifter that dictates how time in their DR passes in relation to their OR. While you could script that time simply does not pass in your OR whilst you’re ‘away’, most people script a specific (but generous) ratio of relative time passage. Commonly, these will be something along the lines of one week in their DR being equivalent to one hour in their OR.

Shifting Portal

A ‘shifting portal’ is something that one can conjure up within a lucid dream. Typically, this is how people utilize the ‘lucid dream method’ to shift realities. A portal can effectively be anything, from a door to a literal magical portal. The purpose of said portal is to act as a trigger for waking up in one’s Desired Reality. (As well, they are typically more successful if 1. the dream is stable, 2. you have said multiple specific affirmations before walking into it.)

CC = Comfort Character

I feel like most of us understand what a comfort character is, this is just how you shorten it when typing.

Scenario

A specific event or set of events that you have scripted to happen at some point after you’ve arrived in your Desired Reality. (Example, one could script that they and Draco have a date at a carnival and he wins them a prize.)

Important FAQs:

Isn’t reality shifting just lucid dreaming?

No, actually! Reality shifting is an entirely separate action/series of actions when compared to lucid dreaming. When one shifts, they are becoming aware of their consciousness in another reality, and are thusly in control of that body, and generally do not return until they want to return (unless otherwise scripted.) A lucid dream, meanwhile, takes place entirely within one’s own mind, and is not someplace you can stay indefinitely, unlike your DR. (However, you CAN use lucid dreams to trigger a shift via the aforementioned shifting portal/s.)

Isn’t Respawning/Permashifting dangerous? Don’t you have to die to do them?

Not at all! You absolutely DO NOT have to die in this reality to permashift/respawn. As well, it is not selfish to want to respawn or permashift, and is in fact fully understandable. What if I die in my Desired Reality!?

You’ll be okay. If one were to die in their DR, they would wake up in their OR. I am personally uncertain if you could return to that DR, though I assume that you could script that you somehow came back to life or were reincarnated. Unfortunately, the trauma of dying will still linger, so it is best that you script that you simply cannot die.

Can you move when doing a method?

Yes! Despite what early Shiftok would have you believe, you don’t have to be stiff as a board or in the starfish position or what have you to shift. Some people have even shifted whilst taking a shower!

Am I allowed to make up my own shifting method?

Of course. In fact, it’s usually encouraged! Personalizing a method to yourself really helps you grasp what does and doesn’t work for you!

How long should I try a method before switching it?

Around two to four days is recommended, from what I’ve seen. I also recommend breaks in-between method-based attempts, but they’re not strictly necessary! They just help keep you fresh and not tired. <3

If I shift to an anime, will everything be animated?

This is entirely up to you! Some people script that things appear as they do in this reality, whilst other people choose to script that things appear animated. It is entirely up to your own preference and makes no functional difference.

What if my clone is evil?

Are you evil? If no, then this is not a concern. If yes, then this is still not a concern. Your clone will not do anything that you yourself would not do. Ergo, if you wouldn’t tell your best friend to jump off a bridge, your clone won’t either.

What if I want to commit crimes in my DR, like murder?

My first advice for this is to seek help. The people within your DRs have emotions and feelings the same as you and I, ergo killing someone there is no different from killing someone in your OR.

Is it cheating to date someone in one reality, and then someone else in another?

Nope! The realities are completely separated, and would have existed regardless whether or not you were present to witness them. For all intents and purposes, they are functionally completely divorced from one another. (If this is something you’re still concerned about, however, I recommend scripting that romantic feelings do not carry between desired realities, or that you simply don’t fall in love with anyone except your one [or more] chosen person[s].)

Is it safe?

Shifting is completely safe! You cannot become stuck or unable to shift back. If you are still concerned about such things (perfectly valid feelings for something so new and strange), you can (and SHOULD) script a safe word or safe action to bring you back to your OR or WR immediately. Scripting additional safety measures (such as not being able to die, be kidnapped, etc., etc.) is also highly recommended.

What’s a good resource for more information?

My two primary sources are Reddit and Youtube. I find Youtube to be more helpful (Particularly Shimmey Shay, Cass Relf, and Kristeau!) for motivation, meditations, methods, and the like. Reddit, on the other hand, is typically more helpful for figuring out specific things that you may want to script (typically compiled in huge threads) or finding other people shifting to the same place as you that you may want to speak to (though still be sure to exercise caution when doing so.)

Is TikTok a good source of info for shifting?

Most of the time, no. It’s good for memes and motivation, maybe even the occasional storytime, but not for information. Misinformation is most often spread about shifting through tiktok, and the nasty comments don’t help much either (nor does the frequent drama.) Take everything you hear about shifting on Tiktok with a grain of salt.

Heya! I am sorry if you aren't looking for f/o's now or anything, or if I accidently like... Submit this wrong or something. But uhh... I saw that you like scientists, and although this character isn't a scientist, he IS a doctor so it might be in the same range?

He's this weird, creepy goober from a game/manga/anime called Angels of Death, and his name is Dr. Daniel Dickens. He's like, REALLY obsessed with eyes and a specific type, to the point of killing people to collect them. It all comes from his backstory and such. Without spoiling too much, he was born with only one eye, and he was bullied relentlessly for it. A lot more happened, but I believe that was a big part in creating his eye obsession, at least in the manga. He's a creepy dude, but I LOVE HIM SO MUCH FOR IT OMG- He's so like... skrunkly imo. He can be very sweet looking one moment, then terrifying the next! I think his eyes look beautiful, too, and I have always wondered what his life would've been like if he was shown so much more love and affection in the past, which I wholeheartedly believe he deserved! He was such a sweet child from what I have seen, so far, but nobody could really look past his appearance.

I don't have a picture of him, plus, he looks slightly different in each iteration of Angels of Death, but I love him SO MUCH and I want to know what you think of him (if you know enough about him, that is). Again, sorry if I maybe formatted this wrong, or you already had him suggested and made a post about him, but I just love him so much! I love my creepy doctor goober! ❤️

warning! there are spoilers for tristamp underneath the cut! if you haven't finished it yet, i suggest you don't read pairing(s); none warnings; spoilers! notes; i went ham with meryl- but I had to think like extra hard about wolfwood for some reason

Meryl

Okay so as far as her feelings go, i I don’t think Meryl ever really went through a depression arc afterwards. She really strikes me as the type of person who would go “wow that was crazy” and immediately get back into the groove of living

Of course her life is forever changed, and how she views the world is completely different. She’s not the same person she was before

This is just a cute little personal headcanon but I imagine she got in trouble with her work for pulling such a huge stunt and got put on paperwork for awhile as punishment and she HATED it

I also think she desperately wanted to spread the truth about Vash, but nobody would ever believe her.

I get the feeling that after what she went through, she now knows that things are always deeper than they seem

She always was a truth seeker, and I think that traits has just been multiplied by 10

I headcanon that Meryl is off actively searching for the deeper meaning to every story she can find.

She's still a risk taker. Willing to step foot into dangerous territory to find what she's looking for

I kind of see her developing bits of Roberto’s personality. She really looked up to him, especially towards the end. Specifically I see her becoming more of a hard ass like he was.

This is a little sad, but what if she smokes every once in a while because the smell reminds her of her old friend. Sometimes on late nights, she lights up a cigarette just to remember Roberto.

Now, did Meryl search for Vash? Probably a little bit. Meryl doesn’t strike me as the type of person who gets stuck in time. If she can’t find him right away then she’ll move on. She probably knows he’s out there somewhere, but she can’t stay stuck.

She continues her search by chasing stories. She knows that man is prone to accidents.

Maybe she even chases rumors about him?

Meryl definitely thinks her higher ups have a stick up their ass, and refuses to listen to them. She does what she wants, and since she’s good at what she does they just have to let her

Wolfwood

Ugh what a tricky little feral boy

Here’s what I think would happen with Wolfwood; he’d be in a cycle of self destruction.

Basically I kind of think he would search for Vash, obviously, but he’d come up fruitless and get really upset about it

So he’d search, get mad he isn’t finding him and go self destructive mode (drinking, being edgy overall) and then try again

OH! He does have that orphanage that he might go back to every once in awhile. He might even raise money for them while he’s out searching for Vash?

I do think he’d probably have little contact with Meryl. If he does chat with her, it’s only for a second. Maybe he’ll share a smoke with her, then be on his way

He strikes me as the type of person who pretends like he thinks Vash is dead, despite actively looking for him

He’d see Meryl and go “I don't understand why you’re still searching for him, he’s gone.” but he’s also out there chasing rumors

(warning for kidnapping and hypnosis i guess?)

The dead leaves crunch under your boots as you wander aimlessly through the pitch black forest. You had lost the dirt road hours ago, along with your good friend Michael. Mike heard rumors about a creature roaming the woods at night and wanted to check it out, but reasonably didn’t want to go alone. You thought you had seen something off the path and decided to investigate, but you couldn’t find it. Next thing you knew you were lost in the dark undergrowth of the woods.

Cicadas buzz in the distance, and ravens and owls keep to themselves in the trees. It was mostly quiet, almost too peaceful. You try your best to avoid roots and thorny bushes as you search for the way back, but eventually a root snags your foot. Your eyes shut as you brace yourself for the fall, but it's interrupted halfway. You feel a soft yet cold hand clamp down on your wrist, keeping you from falling face first into the thorns. As you’re pulled up back to your feet, you look up into the stranger’s eyes. You’re met with a pair of bright yellow eyes looming above you. From what you can make out in the darkness, he had to be at least 8 feet tall.

He speaks in a deep, soothing voice, “Hello, what brings you out on a beautiful night like this?”

As you explained to him how you had gotten separated from your friend, you noticed that his hand hadn’t let go of yours since he caught your fall. Despite the darkness, he seemed to be watching your every movement as you fumble with your words.

“Well, I think I saw a young man walking by earlier. Would you like me to walk you to him?” The tall, shadowy figure offers.

“Sure, lead the way.” You sigh. You really didn’t have much of a choice. It was either getting more lost or letting this stranger lead you back to civilization. He keeps his firm grasp on your hand as he leads you through the woods, which seemed to get more dense as time went on. You couldn’t help but feel wary of him, it felt more like he was luring you somewhere with the promise of reuniting you with your friend. You decided that some questions needed to be asked.

“Who are you?”

“You may call me Springtrap, and what is your na–”

“Why are you out here?”

He stops walking, pausing as if to choose his words correctly.

“I was just enjoying a nightly stroll.”

You could tell he was lying. Nobody goes this deep in the forest for a walk, let alone at night.

Minutes later, he leads you to a large clearing. Stars speckle the dark canvas of a sky, with the full moon being the center of it all. As the two of you step into the moonlight, its silver glow reveals your escort. He was a tall, animatronic rabbit with long fangs and was wearing a black cloak. Behind him in the distance stands an old stone castle that looked abandoned and no Michael in sight.

Before you can speak up, his arm wraps around your chest while his free hand clasps over your mouth. He holds you to his chest as he walks backwards to what you could only assume was this horrible thing’s lair. He grumbles in annoyance as you kick and thrash in his grip in an attempt to break free. After minutes of you flailing as he slowly tries to drag you away, he groans in annoyance as he moves his hand from your lips down to your chin. He tilts your head up to meet his gaze, and you can’t bring yourself to look away. His eyes were oddly soothing to look at, putting your mind at ease. All the different shades of yellow, gold, and orange in his eyes blended beautifully together. You can’t move your body to fight back as he scoops you up with ease. Your mind feels fuzzy as he walks to the castle, and the last thing you hear before you black out is a deep purr coming from his chest.

Yippee, Susie Headcanon time! This isn't even close to all of the HCs I have for her, just like with the other three, but some of em are like super specific or are Joey/Susie related (which I'm saving for later teehee), but this'll have to do! As per usual, this is my interpretation of her character, blah blah blah, whatever, let's get to em <3

• AuDHD REAL (y’all should expect this by now)

• Has a special interest in plushies/stuffed animals and the 80s/90s My Little Pony shows/toys

• Is really quiet and shy when you first meet her, but once she grows to like and trust you, her personality shines a lot more! She’s a lot more talkative, bubbly, and loves to mess around with you!

• It takes her a while to warm up to people, though, and often finds it hard to trust others unless Julie or Joey are already friends with the person

• Looks up to Julie big time, who’s always been her cool, older role model

• She’s a BITER lmfao, it's her main way of showing affection as off putting as it can be for some people. It’s also a great way for her to get people to back off, since who tf wants to get bit. Tries not to do it as much since she got her braces, but sometimes she just can’t help herself

• Will hide her hands in her hoodie sleeves and whack the hell out of people

• Was really insecure about her braces at first, and got teased about them quite a bit at school. She still gets insecure about em every once in a while, but Julie, Joey, and Frank all make her feel a lot better about having them, so she tries to have fun with them by choosing fun colors every time she gets her bands replaced

• Has an extensive plushie collection! Her favorites consist of a lil black n white cat, a seal, and a worn out teddy bear

• Also has a collection of MLP merch, most of which were gifts from Julie

• Rarely ever seen without a hoodie or some sort of jacket on, both out of comfort and cause she gets cold very easily

• Her room is covered in random art supplies just laying about, and her desk is stained with a shit ton of paint

• Rarely ever stood up for herself when she got bullied, she just had a really hard time with this, so most of the time Julie or Joey would come help her out. Being a part of The Legion helped her gain a bit more confidence outside the mask, however, so she started standing up for herself more often

• Has the most energy of the group, and is practically always bouncing in her seat wanting to do something, whether it's just talking to her friends or going out and actually doing something

• Despite all her energy, though, she will CRASH at the end of the night, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to wake her up until morning, as she’s a very heavy sleeper and will sleep through just about anything

• Owns a lot of clothes with cats on em :3c She just really loves cats

• She’s a nail biter, so Julie started painting Susie’s nails so that she’d stop biting them as much

• Heavily dislikes the holidays, since they tended to feel super lonely and depressing for her growing up. She just felt like she got jipped for most of them, and got pretty jealous seeing how happy other people compared to her.

• Struggles a lot in school, so she tends to get Julie’s and Joey’s help a lot, and sometimes they’ll have little study sessions just to help her out. She excels in her art and English classes though

• She knows a little bit of French! She’s not at ALL fluent, but she can read, speak, and understand some here and there

• Either has to work in dead silence or with her favorite music on, there is no in-between

• Whenever she’s not at school or out n about with her friends, she loves to spend time alone in her room working on her art

• Has a little diary that she writes EVERYTHING down in, including some of the most insignificant details about her day. Nobody’s allowed to look inside it, not even Julie. She made the mistake of bringing it to school once, and just barely managed to grab it back from some girl who snatched it from her before the girl got to read any of it

• Hates coffee with the PASSION, she thinks it's absolutely disgusting. She’s not a big fan of tea, either, but she does enjoy milk tea

• She enjoys reading, and has a few books that she loves to reread over and over again

• Loves to bug her friends a lot, and will find little things to do that’ll annoy them without making them upset at her

• She tries REALLY hard to fit in, especially within The Legion, and wants to prove to her friends how cool she actually is. Of course, the other three already love her dearly, but sometimes she doubts herself and thinks she has to try harder despite not even needing to try at all in the first place

• After finding out that Julie liked Frank, she bugged Joey to get him to tell her if Frank liked Julie back. After getting this confirmation, Susie annoyed the HELL out of Frank nonstop about this, and always called him out whenever she caught him staring at Julie or somethin, much to Frank’s annoyance

• She was the one who made the friendship bracelets for the group, and she was SOOOO excited to give them to everyone, since she spent quite some time making them

Okay so I've been a bit busy lately so it took a bit to get to this but YES! CASS!

Favorite thing about them: I love her dedication to her morals, to what she believes in. I love just how much she cares about doing the right thing.

Least favorite thing about them: This is less of a character critique and more of a fandom/writer critique, but I dislike when her jagged parts are shaved down. She is rebellious! She's feisty! She will not sway or bend her morals for anyone (I'm mainly thinking about when people have her like Jason or even get along with him. He kills. She would judge him so so hard for that!)! Let her be jagged and sharp!

Favorite Line: Agh it's been a while since I've read Batgirl 2000, but "Nobody dies tonight" is an iconic line and if I remember that story right in total it's a wonderful encapsulation of her character.

BrOTP: Honestly? Her and Kon. I never liked them together, but as friends I just think they'd have such a good dynamic.

OTP: StephCass all the way. Maybe it's that I'm a sucker for a sapphic ship, maybe it's that panel where Cass hallucinates Steph bridal carrying her, maybe it's that and a lot more lol.

NOTP: Of course, none of the batboys because that's disgusting but that's also a given. So, I'll just go with Kon. It's not the worst ship in the world, it doesn't trigger my gag reflex, I just don't jive with it.

Random Headcanon: Her fashion sense is very Joan Jett-esque.

Unpopular Opinion: I don't really know. Man, I am so gonna re read Batgirl 2000 soon because I'm realizing I've forgotten so much about her. I guess it's just what I said above, really, she isn't all soft and demure, she's tough and rough but above all else she is kind. Too many people conflate kindness with being soft and unconfrontational, but really kindness is the ability to treat people like people, and that makes you neither soft nor unconfrontational, in my opinion.

Song I associate with them: Monster from Adventure Time: Distant Lands Obsidian (specifically the King Princess version). So many lines resonate with my view of Cass, but especially the line We were messed up kids who taught ourselves how to live, so scared that I'm not good enough I just- that whole song feels like Cass to me. She hated herself for so long for what she'd done, even though she was just a kid. As someone who was raised as a weapon, she's been seen as a monster, she's thought of herself as a monster. She didn't truly receive the love she gave to her father as a child, instead she received a grotesque distortion of love. So for her to be loved, truly and wholly, it's all at once frightening and healing for her.

seaglass: Eliot has never met their best friend, Loren, in person before. They have communicated for years by tossing bottles with messages in them back and forth across the sea. Now Loren is finally coming to visit, and Eliot wants to celebrate the occasion with a suitable gift - a sea glass necklace! This game I made by myself, and it's pretty old but I still like it.

Inn Need: The once marvelous Silver Willow Inn has fallen into disrepair over the years. Older witch and new owner Hestia Kindlee is determined to fix that, though. Explore the old inn, fix what you can, find help for what you can't, and restore the inn to its former glory. This game was made in collaboration with TeiRaven and Ji Tealeaf!

🌙 again—I saw that you were feeling guilty about kink sometime after you shared my ask. I'm not in your head so I'm not going to assert that how you're feeling was a result of my writing, but I figured it couldn't hurt to check in after sending you something pretty violent and degrading. (It's by far the most hardcore thing I've ever written--I usually soft dom if you can believe it!)

It took me a long, long time to get any sort of handle over the guilt I felt about my fantasies. Even the ones that weren't so dark. I mean just any time I thought about it I felt like was gross or wrong for not being into something... normaller. Sometimes I still struggle but it's gotten way easier, mostly because I've been able to open up to some equally kinky people I trust and that's helped me realize that I'm not alone (even if I haven't been lucky enough to find another vorarephile out in the wild).

Anyways. Our kinks are a part of us and that's okay. There are no thought crimes. There is no inbound punishment for having the "wrong" desires; that's purity culture talking. It's all in good fun. We can type and type and type at each other all day and never actually lay a harmful hand on each other. All that we will have done is found an opportunity to express our mutual desires with each other. As long as we are both respectful adults about it, that's a good thing—nobody benefits from us denying ourselves pleasure.

I'm sure you know all of that even if you don't always feel it. At least, I get that way sometimes, and I find that it sometimes helps for me to hear these kinds of things reaffirmed by someone else. Keep up the good work. Your blog is hot as fuck.

Hi hello I had stumbled across This and I finally got some writing done because of it :3c

“God, I can’t fucking stand you, you know that?” Zander growled, at the point of the night that he’d begun to antagonize Nicholas. It wasn’t a smart move, he knew that, but he was bored and he knew that he wouldn’t get out of this unscathed anyway, he may as well earn whatever punishment he’d receive in the end.

“The feeling is mutual, mutt.” Nicholas said bluntly, not even looking away from his laptop to spare any attention to the man at his feet, hands cuffed behind him.

“I’d rather die than spend another minute around you.”

“I’d also rather you died.” Nicholas said, and it almost looked like he was about to smile. “It would be quieter around here at least. I wonder, how long do you think it would take me to convince Cain to have you put down once we’re married?”

“Oh fuck off, if he hasn’t offed me yet he’s not going to do it just because you tell him to.”

“You know you should watch your language.”

“Why don’t you make me? Too lazy to get off your ass and find a muzzle?” He snickered, and Nicholas sighed heavily.

“Really, I think that’s quite enough, Daniel.”

For a moment, Zander just stared at him, like he wasn’t sure he heard him right. He couldn’t have, he swore he was just hearing things. All of a sudden, he found it harder to think, harder to speak, everything slowing down as he tried to process what he’d heard.

“W-what… what did you say…?” He asked hesitantly.

“I said that I think that’s enough, Daniel. I know you have trouble listening but honestly now, it’s not that hard.” He finally turned his attention to Zander, and as they made eye contact he was sure, Nicholas knew exactly what he was doing. He felt like he was going to be sick.

“Why- why are you-”

“Why am I what?” He asked, raising his eyebrows.

“That name, you- you can’t…” He didn’t know how to say what he was thinking, and Nicholas seemed to be enjoying every second of this.

“Hm? It is your name, isn’t it?”

“No!” He cried, his heart sinking as he realized what he’d said. “No- no I mean, it- it is, but you can’t- you aren’t supposed to-”

“You keep forgetting, I can call you anything I’d like to.” Nicholas said, leaning forward and grabbing Zander by the face, gripping his chin tightly despite the fact he made no effort to pull away, still staring at him in shock. “Zander, mutt, sweetheart, Daniel, Danny, it doesn’t matter, you’ll answer to whatever I decide to call you, understand?” He said sternly, and for once Zander was completely at a loss for words, slowly nodding his head, if only to get Nicholas to let go of him. The man smiled at him, and let go of his chin to gently pat the side of his face, Zander bracing for a slap though. “Good boy. See, you really are more tolerable when you keep your mouth shut.” He said, returning to what he’d been doing before.

Zander still felt sick, he didn’t understand why Nicholas suddenly decided to do that, nobody had used that name for him in years, at one point it had been a punishable offense. He gave it up, it was easier, safer to just give it up than take a beating every time he or somebody else dared to say it, he’d long since accepted that he’d lost that part of himself, he didn’t expect to ever hear it again, and he certainly didn’t expect to hear it from Nicholas. He wondered if Cain had told him, or if he’d read his file from when he’d first been kidnapped. He supposed it was possible Nicholas had known all along, his case had been a big deal at one point, but he’d never let on that he knew, or even cared who Zander used to be. He was starting to wish it had stayed that way. That name sounded wrong coming from him, it sounded like a taunt. He’d rather never hear it again than have to hear it from Nicholas of all people.

In the end, Nicholas got what he had wanted. He’d dragged up memories of his early days in captivity, that constant ache that never went away, he could only try to ignore by forcing himself to never think about his father, or the rest of his family for that matter. It hurt too much to think of the things he’d lost and left behind, to think of the pieces of himself that had been ripped away from him all those years ago. It took all his energy to focus on holding himself together, to blink back tears and refuse to show any emotion on his face. Nicholas was no doubt satisfied with himself, Zander was so caught up in his own thoughts, he didn’t say another word for the rest of the night.

Three (Friend)Ships

Soooo I actually don’t dabble with romance *dives behind a couch.* It’s never been my jam. My jelly tho? That would be the interactions between characters and exploring how deep their bonds go! The words “best friend” send me to another world <3

1 ~ Zack Fair & Sephiroth (FF7) If you know me, even just the most microscopic tad, then you prolly know these two have organized the Louisiana Purchase on my heart. They are BEANS! I love them SO MUCH!!!! Adorable polarity aside, I’m just absolutely infatuated with the story these two share. I will always imagine their mutual tie to Angeal being what draws them together, able to empathize with each other’s grief in a way nobody else can. They need each other: Zack needs someone to look after him, protecting his enthusiasm, and Seph needs someone to mend his trust… and make him smile <3 <3 They become inseparable, all that bitterness Banora and Modeoheim stirred faded into nothingness. Come Nibelheim, and those books and mumsy have nothing on these two. Sephiroth already has too much to cherish to throw it all away <3 Poor mumsy. Can’t brainwash someone who’s gotta pupper who loves him more than you :3c

2 ~ Hiccup & Toothless (HTTYD) There is NO animal-human friendship that beats this one. Nope, nope! Sorry! Vetoing that thought (pssst your opinions are wonderful and valid). I think what makes these two SO powerful to me is that Toothless is never treated as a pet; he is Hiccup’s bestest friend and they are equals. They love each other to death and would do anything to protect the other <3 Seeing their bond evolve and the parallels unfolding between them is magical. I don’t think there will ever be a scene that tops Hiccup and Toothless walking towards the door, Toothless with his prosthetic tail and Hiccup mirroring that with his leg. It is godly <3 (I’m also always using these two as springboards for my writing. Small details like Zack always referring to Seph as “bud” are plucked right from here!)

3 ~ Mikey & Leatherhead (TMNT) Their friendship begins with Mikey spoon-feeding soup to the adorable, scaly bean, who’s plopped right on his bottom. The frequency of the SQUEAL I made. This is just one of the healthiest, most wholesome friendships to ever exist and I will love them forever!!! Mikey has unwavering trust in him from the moment they meet, helps him gain control of his rage, and offers his teddy bear for emotional support <3 Nothing but not judging a book by its cover and earning a true blue buddy as a result.

First (friend)ship: Hmmm… ig any two smash bros characters I visualized having a movie night lmao! l got my hands on a controller when I was 4. The first character dynamic I fell in love with tho was prolly Ash & Pikachu!

Last song: Hailee Steinfeld/DNCE, Rock Bottom

Last movie: Malignant & Ferdinand (watched back to back for some genius reason. The shift in tone was like being slapped with a trout)

Currently reading: The Catcher in the Rye

CUTE AND FLUFFY BECAUSE? it's literally a workplace romance and we have a son and we're like a little family. we aren't married, but we are, but we aren't together, but we totally are, and we're the only ones that don't know it. being so nerdy and excited about little things together that other people would find inconsequential or lame, having our own language almost.

sweet and loving glances from across the lab; the palpable spark when we touch accidentally; doing things for each other that could easily be construed as romantic but not knowing it; constantly wanting to be in the other's presence, even in the silence... etc. etc.

tbh i forget about all the fic tropes because i just write my own and don't really read them as much 😭 maybe... a KH version of the red string of fate/soulmates? we do end up finding each other although our worlds diverged... we never thought we'd see each other again, and i spent all that time waiting for him and ienzo. but then we find each other and everything is so different. but we end up rekindling those feelings we had, still have, in ways that he didn't think a nobody could. 🥺💖

You might struggle to be heard or seen by the ones around you so you prefer to avoid it all together, as frustrating as it can be sometimes. For that reason you might be selective with the people you blend with, and at times it might seem that nobody will truly understand you. But when you find those who resonate with you, you're an extremely kind and loyal friend. Most importantly, you're smart, and people always value that about you. They will constantly rely on you, ask for your guidance and advice, and you're happy to provide it. You like being the reliable friend. You don't get crushes easily, but when you do you don't really know how to handle them. They feel overwhelming and like a waste of time. There's no way they like me back, is it? What if I ruin it? What if I'm reading way too much into it? Remember to relax enjoy the feeling once in a while, chances are that your crush sees that intelligent and kindhearted person everyone else seen in you as well

No matter how the two of you met it didn't take long for Almond to bond with you, both as an “elder” gay and thanks to his natural dad vibes. The fact that the two of you love coffee definitely helped with that too.

He's a simple man with simple but reliable tastes – full roast, splash of almond milk, no sugar. He's not lactose intolerant though, of course, he likes what he likes and he's not too keen on exploring new options unless it's a recommendation from a friend he trusts.

That's probably why his tastes are ever so slowly expanding. After all, there's a reason why you like your coffee the way you like it, so maybe he'll find something he likes in it? That eventually goes for things outside of coffee too. There's only so many times he can excuse himself from eating your home-baked goods before he feels bad about it and gives in.

“I don't have a big sweet tooth.” he said a few months back, and now the two of you are occasionally exchanging new recipes you've tried over the weekend.

As busy as he tends to be, and as little free time as he has to spare, he's a very reliable friend. Do you need someone to calm you down after a nightmare? His personal phone is always by his bedside table – he'll pick up no matter the hour. Do you need someone to pick you up after you took the wrong bus and got lost? Well... He is in the middle of a job but send him your location and he'll be there in 10. Nobody showed up to hang out with you and it's your birthday tomorrow? The case can wait, he's calling in sick and the two of you can go to your favourite cafe.

He goes above and beyond for people he cares about and thankfully he surrounded himself with people who go above and beyond for him as well; which is a good thing when you're as selfless as he is and end up accidentally putting your own health and needs to the side.

That's alright though. He checks in on you regularly to see if you've eaten or drunk water recently, or if you've rested enough and-- oh, has he eaten? Well of course he's eaten. He's got the bagels you dropped off for him in the morning still sitting on his desk. Oh.

Right.

...No, no he hasn't eaten yet. He's gonna go take his break early.
