you know that arundhati roy quote that goes "can the hungry go on a hunger strike? non-violence is a piece of theatre. you need an audience. what can you do when you have no audience? people have the right to resist annihilation” but now i realise sometimes your audience are just people who will witness your annihilation and simply choose to say that unfortunately your blood greases the wheels of the world and simply register the fact that they have witnessed and condemned your annihilators as their duty while disavowing any attempt you make at resistance. palestinian journalists can broadcast till the end of their world and it would not move the needle on this kind of audience.

Yknow in some ways the characters of AA4 are lucky that the trilogy cast is mostly absent because I think if Klavier called Franziska “fraülein” to her face she would just beat him unconscious

the way ppl see the star of david now is actually so gross and blatantly antisemitic it makes me sad. my gf's mom, who is jewish, got me a star of david pin w the trans flag like a year ago and I have it on a beanie I wear to work at a coffee shop sometimes. and today a group of Young White Gays came in & were staring me & the damn hat down like I'd spit in their coffee and they start whispering amongst themselves going "first starbucks and now this?" like abt the starbucks boycott lmfao I'm like
begging yall to understand that the star of david =/= israel and you assuming everyone you see wearing it is some violent islamphobe is actually incredibly shit. you should probably work on that. I've heard WAY too many stories of jews lately actually literally getting attacked for wearing one, which is much worse than annoying comments at a coffee shop to someone who's only jew(ish). if you Don't see an issue w that I really don't know what to say

grian pearl and scott: none of us chose or even truly desired to win, rather, victory was thrust upon us like the cloak of destiny that we all don. victory was unwelcome and in some cases unexpected, it could've been anyone but it was us

"i have no spoons for sympathy for the palestinian cause" is so like... shockingly evil and bleak im truly not over it. it like perfectly encapsulates how zionists - specifically young 'progressive' zionists dress up how they talk about palestine in this extremely neutered way.
israeli settlers are just every day civillians completely divided away from the relation of colonialism they actively perpetuate, and palestinian resistance of any kind is practically coming out of nowhere and is Different and uniquely Violent. it doesnt matter that this is barely a fraction of what israel has perpetuated against palestine daily since its inception as a state
and to dress it all up in this language that transforms it from a coloniser refusing to show any sympathy for the people they benefit from colonising into just some poor victim minority is diabolical. the zionist victim complex is insane

Trying to listen to podcast to calm down to sleep -> loud as fuck ad. Trying to check something quick from a youtube tutorial -> first gotta watch 2x 30 second unskippable ads. Trying to go to a website -> 2 popups and an ad video automatically start to play. Trying to listen to the radio while driving -> 7 minutes of uninterrupted ad time. Every single free app with those shitty game ads with the stupid annoying ass king. I’m tired !!! I never wanna buy anything ever again !!!!!!!

"oh they didn't explain-" "it makes no sense how-" it doesn't matter. it does not matter i promise you it doesn't matter at all. there was a story they wanted to tell and they twisted the laws of their fictional universe til they fit. same as donna's daughter being 15-16 even tho timeline-wise it makes no sense. literally don't worry about it it's easy
