ayo was I reading that personal post right that you found out you're allergic to garlic???? Because if so bud hi I'm allergic to garlic too, I developed it when I was 17/18, and it sucks but it's kinda nice to not be the only weird vampire freak around anymore lmao anyway I hope you feel better and good luck bud ☺️
sad vampire fistbump 🧛😞🤜
I haven't technically gotten it tested or diagnosed or anything, and I think it might be more of an intolerance than an allergy? I don't really know where the line is. But well, a year or two ago I realized that maybe not everyone feels like shit after eating sour cream and onion chips (bc it's technically all allium I think - garlic and onion, and it's WORSE when it's powder. Ugh)
And then last year I had some anyway and spent the night with my nose fully clogged up and my lips stinging. I tried to blame the dust in the room that time until I managed to actually engage my brain. I didn't realize this time until I remembered that that was the exact same feeling, wow, I propbably should have seen this coming.
Anyway, salut to being weird vampires together and I thank you for the well-wishes <3

I'd like to request Eddie x Chrissy. His allergies are real bad and turns out Chrissy has a sneeze kink
The fourth time they meet up in the woods, Chrissy is newly single. The day prior she’d cut it off with Jason, apparently tired of the way he’s been treating everyone. Eddie tries not to listen to the gossip, but it’s all over the school, and it’s hard to ignore when it’s about the girl he’s been crushing on since the middle school talent show.
Sitting at the small picnic table, the guitarist rubs at his nose and waits for the petite girl to appear, not even sure she’ll be coming today. They’ve been meeting every Thursday to talk, and only once has Chrissy actually ever bought anything from him, not that Eddie minds. He’d rather talk to her than take her money, anyway.
It’s Autumn and the leaves are falling, covering the grounds, roads, porches, cars. And while Eddie enjoy’s the view of the red, orange and yellow leaves just like anyone else, he also struggles to stay outside around them. All the mold and dust the leaves kick up and produce make the guitarist’s already sensitive nose go crazy, make his eyes itch and his sinuses stuffy.
Sighing, the brown eyed man taps his fingers on the wood table idly, patiently waiting. As he does, a tickle in his nose makes him grab his black bandana from his back pocket, eyes fluttering.
“h’GKkt! ihgkt!! hh’nGKt!”
“Bless you.”
Eddie jumps, body tensing at the sudden intrusion. Looking up through his wavy bangs, he sees the cheerleader he’s been waiting for staring at him, eyes a little wide. He wipes his nose and puts the bandana away, sniffling.
“Oh, uh, thanks,” he gives her a smile, wrinkling his nose in the process. The ticklish feeling hasn’t left at all, merely winding through his sinuses like it’s a game. He’s about to try and make small talk but yet again his nostrils twitch widely, an allergic itch irritating the rims of his nose.
“IhGHkkt! gh’Kt! h’nKTsch’uhew!”
He holds his arm up against his mouth and nose, grimacing as he can’t help the constrained sneezes. His sinuses throb.
“Are you okay?”
Looking at Chrissy, Eddie tilts his head just a little, watching as she almost squirms. Interesting.
“Yeah, ahhllergies are just ki-snf! Kicking my ass,” he shrugs. His nose is pink and he rubs his bandana against it, not noticing the intense look Chrissy is giving him.
“I didn’t…know you had allergies.”
Her voice is hesitant, which seems odd to him. Raising an eyebrow, he studies her again. Deciding to test a sudden thought, he chuckles a little and shrugs, before sniffling a few times. He notices her body stand a little straighter. Huh.
“Mm, yeah, I love Autumn, but unfortunately-,” he gives a loud, dramatic sigh, leaning against the table, pouting. “-the leaves and dust and mold and all that other shit…all hell bent to make me miserable.”
Chrissy giggles but her cheeks blush, and she doesn’t take her eyes off of him. Unable to stop himself, he grabs the black bandana again and rubs his nose into it with one hand, trying to keep his eyes open. He keeps it pressed tight against his nostrils, attempting to make the ticklish feeling go away.
“Th-That sucks.” The cheer leader clears his throat and continues to watch him.
The long haired man smirks behind his bandana and then let’s himself get ready to either humiliate himself or discover a great secret.
Rubbing the bandana into his nose, he sniffles and lets himself breathe in any of the crap that’s been on the bench his bandana has been sitting against. It takes ten second, but then it hits hard enough he coughs at first before his eyes slam shut.
“ih’GKtschh’uhew! ngKXT’uhew! hhh! hi’gnktsch!”
Quickly, he looks up and sees Chrissy staring at him with wide eyes.
“You like this?” He asks, not judgmental, simply curious, wanting to maybe indulge her a bit. He’s always been gone on her, but knowing she has this…thing she’s into? Pretty cute.
“Uhh…”
“I won’t tell, scouts honor. I’m just curious. I didn’t really know it w-was a thihhh-nKXtsch! ihKShtchiew! hah’GKtsch’uhEW!”
The sneezes are stronger and bend him forward. He doesn’t have time to cover at all, and he’s grateful he’s at least aiming at the ground.
“…yes, I…yes,” Chrissy looks vaguely embarrassed, Eddie notices, and fuck she’s got no right being this cute.
Sniffling wetly and wiping his eyes, the guitarist gets a little closer. He wonders if she can feel the spark too. He gets close enough that he’s standing against her, so tall she has to look up. Eddie can feel his nose twitching, his nostrils quivering and slightly damp from mess. She bites her lip and squirms.
“You know…if you wanna uh…let me indulge you, I really don’t mind.”
Her mouth drops open slightly and he grins. “Someone’s gotta enjoy it right?” And oh yeah, he’s now probably one of the only people aware of her secret, and that’s hot enough as it is.
“Are you sure? I know it’s weird.”
“Need I remind you, Ms. Cunningham, that everyone calls me the school freak. It’s definitely not weird.” Eddie grins and rubs his nose again, laughing a little when Chrissy rubs their noses together. This is definitely going to be a good day.

Just for reference, who are all of your Frieza Race OCs (if you have multiple)?
I actually do have a decent handful of Frieza Race OCs (though I mainly refer to the species as a whole as Ice Demons or Arcosians in my fics, though I'll refer to them as Frieza's Race just as a general term because everyone has different headcanons for the name). Most of them are female Arcosians and whether or not females exist in the species is debated- personally, my headcanon is wavering a bit in terms of the biology and I may shuffle things but I often needed a defined biological divide for some narrative choices to work in some of my current fic canons.
Anyway, I digress... These are my present OCs in order of creation:
Note, I do consider Kuriza to be half an OC to me since a lot of his character is up to interpretation.
Perma is my oldest Ice Demon OC, dating back to when I still called them "Icejins", though you may see her mentioned in some of my older stuff as Subzero or Zero. She's my Xenoverse CaC and her concept started out as a Frit (Frost x Hit) kiddo! Her design, from what I recall off hand, featured a lot of purple, blue-gray, indigo, etc, basically a color hodge-podge of her two dads. She has the Cooler mask because there wasn't a mouth option I really vibed with, so I just headcanoned it as her allergy mask- she's allergic to dust and you bet there's going to be a lot of that on Time Patrol missions. Later on I may adjust some of her colors if I plan to draw her in full color. Her name's a pun on "permafrost".
As much as I don't want to include him, I have to for the sake of being thorough... Lord Shiver. Shiver sucks. Not saying he's a poorly done OC, he was literally written to be a terrible person. He's Frost's mafia boss father in "Shattered Ice" and he's not really depicted in a good light. He's got blue-gray colorations but I never really plotted out how it looks.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Frost's parentage, we have his mother, Realis. Her name's a pun on "aurora borealis", mainly because my original name concept for Frieza's mother in a fic that never got fully fleshed out was "Aurore" and I wanted the two to match. Essentially, she's part of Shiver's harem (again, reiterating, Shiver was not designed to be a good person), but she gets a bit more elevated privilege on account of being the one gal in the posse "lucky" (read: "unfortunate") enough to be the mother of his child. I think this was the first time I used the idea of little gem "freckles" on the cheeks in my female Arcosian designs (though it started as diamonds and switched to four-pointed stars). She was originally designed with gray scales and cyan gems, though design colorations can change I suppose...
Another one of my big fic OCs is Frigid. I gave Hit a little secretary for his business office and then just sort of ran with it; writing her into the fic was originally to tie into a certain plot point that I won't spoil if you're not caught up on "Shattered Ice", but I enjoy her and I'm surprised I haven't drawn her much. Plus, Hit shipping bonus!! Honestly, I would say more, but she's best experienced within the fic itself. Design-wise, she's got gray scales and turquoise gems.
And then there's also Algid, another one from "Shattered Ice" and another member of Shiver's little posse... She's a bit of a lovesick little yes-woman when it comes to her boss, but she's got some edge to her. Again, description probably isn't doing her much justice, so she's best read in fic. She's got more of a reddish color palette- reason why? I originally intended for her to have a pretty much identically designed Universe 7 parallel that would have been Kuriza's mentioned-only late mother, the red contributing to his maroon gems. I didn't want a good character name and color palette to be wasted completely on a briefly mentioned character- and here we are now, the original U7 Algid not even coming into fruition (totally not because I forgot that part in my notes while writing "Love Like You"...).

POLLEN CARE
Howdy all!!! I have extremely annoying pollen allergies that come up out of absolutely fucking nowhere, and so I’ve had to get myself a little bit of a regimen to help lessen the awful symptoms I get lol. I thought I’d share because it’s pretty damn foolproof, and I always feel better after. These are in no particular order, but think logically about what order you’re doing things in so you aren’t stirring up more pollen after you’ve cleaned yourself up.
(Will be updated)
• change into clean clothes
(Pollen likes to live on your fabrics. The sooner you get the fabrics off and in quarantine the better you’ll feel.)
• take a shower
(Self explanatory. Gets the pollen off your body and hair, and opens up your airways and drains sinuses. Good stuff!)
• wash your face with cold water
(This is already a great tip for resetting your body, look up mammalian dive reflex. My fav coping strat. anyways get any pollen residue away from your face holes!!)
• change your bedsheets, or at least your pillow
(Pollen likes fabrics. If it settles in the one that’s right by your face and body for several hours a day you will not have a good time.)
• shut the windows in your house
(Self explanatory. Also don’t go outside.)
• invest in an air filter, or DIY one out of a box fan and a dust filter
(To make a DIY filter, tape the filter to the back of the fan. Air it intakes will be cycled through and come out clean)
• mask up!!! pollen can’t fit thru fabric or any sort of medical mask!!! genuinely I’ll wear it around the house
(Self explanatory. Love masks)
• flo-nase my beloved.
(Flo-nase does this cool thing where it constricts your nose’s blood vessels to the point that large pollen particles can’t fit and just get flushed out without triggering an allergic reaction!love that stuff)
• have one room in the house where windows are never open so there’s a “safe room” from any pollen
(mine is my bedroom! All of my clothes get taken off and put in the bin the second I step in the door, and my bed is on the other side of the room)
• wash your dog!!!
(If your animal goes outside they’re picking up pollen too. Give your dog a bath or at least a really good brushing before letting it inside)
• water drink the water
(Water helps clear your throat and also helps replenish the fluids you’re losing from post nasal drip.)
• Avoid fruits, especially unwashed ones
(Fruits especially need pollen to grow. They can have pollen residue in or on them. Always wash your fruit!!!!!!)
• silently get mad at tree sexism
(this is a real thing. It makes me furious and it is the genuine reason pollen allergies suck the way they do)

Sorry for horrible picture quality. I’ve only got my phone and it sucks. B) Anyways, this puzzle was a 500 piece by Sure Lox called Alpine Vistas. I didn’t have super high hopes on quality for this one if I’m honest, since I’d read a few reviews on the brand. But with those low expectations, I ended up being happy with what I got out of the puzzle. My husband was able to find this puzzle marked down to only $1, and for that price it feels like it was a good puzzle. The pieces are pretty thin, but I was lucky enough to only have some very minor damage on one of the pieces and the rest were fine. I also timed myself on this one, and it took 2 hours and 55 minutes from start to finish. (Kind of why I personally don’t get ones lower than 1,000 pieces, but since this was only $1, we figured why not.) My only gripe with this puzzle was a personal one. The cardboard made my hands a lot more irritated and itchy than any other puzzles I’ve done. (I have a very mild allergy to wood/paper dust) And for that reason alone, even though the puzzle was nicer quality than I’d anticipated, I wouldn’t purchase from this brand again. Might be worth it for people without an allergy though!

8:33 AM
Last night I woke up at 1:30am because I had to use the bathroom and it huuuurt. This particular thing has happened before and it is rare. First stomach cramps slowly get worse and wake me up. It sucks because I’m half asleep for awhile wondering wtf is going on until I’m finally conscious enough to realize it’s just my stomach acting up. I usually shake like I have chills until it’s over too. Its weird because there isn’t anything particularly remarkable about what actually happens in the bathroom. Eventually I feel better and go back to sleep. Its just annoying this happens sometimes.
Other than that, this morning I’m caught in that ‘dreaful’ mindset again. Its hard to believe today will be just fine, for no reason. I’m finding it hard to simply not think about it today.
11:27 AM
So what I’m trying to do today is accept I’m okay (basically what I try to do every day). The difference being, because last night/this morning have been kinda blech, I feel like the rest of the day should be to. But in the past I would have days like this and I would feel relieved when it was over and accept that the rest of the day was good to go. I’m pretty sure thats whats happening now. I had my slightly bad time, now things should be normal and okay. Nothing to fret about. I feel like I’m almost there thanks to being able to defuse from the thoughts that worry me by catching them and then ignoring them.
1:27 PM
I’ve been having trouble with my art mentality. I try to avoid using things like multiply or other effect layers because I see them as lazy and detrimental to my growth. But they do offer speed so I think I should start using them more in my commissions for the sake of saving time. Outside of that I can continue to learn and practice color so I won’t need to use effects as much.
It just sucks to think I’m doing a good job on a picture and then I find I have to fix the whole thing with color correction. It all comes down to not planning my colors as much as I should but I literally don’t have the time to when I’m being paid for it. I feel like I just throw things together and hope for the best for every commission I get. Sometimes they turn out fantastic, sometimes I’m ashamed to present them knowing I simply can’t afford to redo the entire thing.
On top of that, I’m constantly stressing out about how much I want to do/promised I’d do for my friends because I always want to save energy for the daily dreaded commissions so I try not to work on anything personal until the weekend unless I REALLY want to. I don’t want to spend all that effort just to get too burnt out to do comms and get giga stressed.
5:01 PM
God damnit, another thing to worry about. I asked my parents if I could moved stuff around where they put garbage so I could put mine there too. They said yes so I did it and decided to clean up more, including vacuuming. I use an old vacuum for breezeway stuff and it always stinks, the filter is packed full usually. Halfway through it started just SPEWING visible dust out the exhaust but I just kept going since the breezeway is half outside anyways. Then I thought “I wouldn’t dare lick this carpet without fear of getting sick from it, but I’m literally spewing everything on it into the air.” So I stopped and now I’m worried I could get sick from the dust I was kicking up. I’ve vacuuming out there multiple times with that disgusting thing but this time the dust was visible. I hope I’m just overreacting. I’m sure I’ll calm down in a little bit but I won’t really know I’m in the clear for a few entire days. I know most people wouldn’t be worrying about this so I guess I shouldn’t either. Its just unknown territory.
I was doing so well too. I’m upset.
All I can do is keep practicing the idea of not thinking about it. Googling it says vacuums could lead to problems with people with allergies or compromised immune systems but I’m hoping this single study I’ve been able to find is being reported a lot worse than it actually is.
Also when I think about it, some people live/operate in worse conditions. This only seems like a big deal because I don’t really have any scope. This is probably nothing.
6:04 PM
Something interesting happened inside of me. While I was panicking about that fucking dust, it felt like the part of me that didn’t want to worry about it was about as big as the half that did want to worry. If I had to put these obscure feelings into some kind of concept, its like a new version of myself manifested months ago and has been trying to take control by fighting the old me. It feels like I keep getting tired and failing because the new me is so smol and new, but it’ll keep growing.
It sounds cringe but I don’t know how else to put it.
6:32 PM
Because my problem tends to be losing track of the ideas I’m studying, I’m going to try to re-define them to myself and then do some of the exercises.
Defusion
I have 2 kinds of thoughts. Conscious thoughts that I choose to have any given moment, and automatic thoughts generated from my survivalistic experience. Defusion is the idea that you avoid “fusing” with automatic thoughts. They are often illogical and unhelpful. I like to imagine whoever is coming up with them is some little guy stuck inside my head with no ability to source information. Therefore he just makes stuff up to support his argument. The automatic “information” provided to me is seldom helpful. I can’t make the thoughts go away but I can choose how much I listen to them.
Self
Having a true sense of self means understanding that I as a person am the conscious being behind my eyes right now. Most if not everyone at some point completely identifies with their past experiences as who they are. They become characters to play rather than people to live. I’m definitely guilty of that. The goal is to learn about the character I’ve subconsciously chosen to become and stop identifying with it unless I consciously want to.
Acceptance
Acceptance is about being okay with how things are in this moment and in the past. I’m having a hard time truly understanding this idea. I’m supposed to be okay with not only feeling good, but feeling bad too. It makes sense but something inside me screams how bad of an idea it is. It’s like I’m willingly submitting to suffering. Im sure understanding will come in time if I keep working on it. What I do understand is avoiding pain leads to avoiding positive feelings too, in the sense that feeling too good can only lead you back down. Or how actively trying to avoid something like a hot stove can cause you to be reminding of it when you feel something cool. Sort of like how feeling too good reminds me of how scared I am to feel sick.
Presence
I need to work on this one too. Presence refers to living in the here and now rather than ruminating about the past and future. In my own way, the idea is about focusing on what you can do right now rather than on what you cannot immediately change.  It seems to be about expanding your ability to focus and saving processing power basically.
I just re-read the values chapter and I will do it’s first exercise but first I’ll do 1 exercise for each of the other pivots.
1. The 3rd defusion exercise is about actively listening to my automatic thoughts and accepting the suggestion. Like I’ve asked my mind to spitball ideas, I don’t have to take them seriously. But I shouldn’t be dismissive, arguing only makes it worse. I should take the ideas like they’re from a friend trying to give honest advice, because they basically are. Most of it is my brain trying to protect me. For the sake of documenting it and helping put words to my thoughts, I’ll try to write some of them down like I’m asking for ideas.
“That dust earlier might be a problem. Maybe you should google it more or try to evaluate it based on what you know about basic physics. Maybe you could conclude whether or not you’re actually in danger.”
“Maybe you should try to evaluate everything that could go wrong in a situation beforehand. If you’d thought long enough, maybe you’d have realized a vacuum could have kicked up a lot of dust you’d be inhaling.”
“Maybe put more time into thinking of ways you could avoid getting sick altogether. Imagine the perfect scenario: You’re holed up in your own home where no one else is allowed to enter. All packages are disinfected beforehand. You only buy low risk food to cook. Wouldn’t that be nice and safe?”
These are feelings I end up having if I let myself feel them. These aren’t thoughts I want to have really. And I can choose to take them seriously or not. Right now they are just ideas that have been given to me and I can deny them if I want. None of these seem like the person I want to become would do.
2. The 3rd acceptance exercise is about being more openly myself with another person. I kinda had something like planned already. I was going to open up to one of my friends in VR about the experience I had today and how it affected the things I promised to do for him. It’s a little scary because I don’t think I’ve gone into detail with him about my anxiety. Most people don’t get it because it is actually a silly problem. I don’t expect people to truly understand, I just want them to accept that it’s a real problem I’m dealing with instead of dismissing it.
3. The 3rd acceptance exercise is about thinking of a difficult experience and responding to some questions about it.
(I’m going to do this later, it seems like it’ll take awhile and I can’t think of a good low difficulty scenario right now)
4. The 2nd presence exercise instructed me to focus on the sole of my left foot for 2 minutes, then right, then both at the same time. I was meant to keep drawing my mind back to this subject if it started to wander. So I did that. It’s explained this helps interrupt automatic thoughts so it can help, say, people with anger problems from having an aggressive outburst if they catch themselves and do this exercise. It’s probably something I could have used earlier.
5. The values exercise has me write for 10 minutes about a subject I care about while answering some questions about it.
(I’ll do this one later tonight too because I really want to get on VRchat to do my acceptance exercise.)
10:35 PM
Im so WEIRD DUDE HOLY I fucked up 2 important interactions today, but I honestly wasn’t prepared for either of them and I knew that. I probably shouldn’t look at it like “I fucked up” though. Realistically they just didn’t go as perfectly as I’d hoped but nothing ever does. Im not that beat up about it, it just SUCKS and I’m in that “why did I even do that” phase. CRINGE

twelve Alternatives To Obtaining Gone Your Pet
So you've had your own dog or kitty for a when, and your life is usually changing, now you think you will need to get rid of your current pet. But are usually you sure this kind of is what you should do? Getting rid of your pet is definitely a drastic measure. In the event you leave your animal at the shelter, a person may think he can find a brand-new home soon. Although it is improbable. Many high-kill animal shelters must euthanize creatures each day in order to make room for new ones who have come in. A few animals are just at the shelter with regard to about days ahead of they run away of luck. Fifty-six percent of canines and seventy-six % of cats within shelters are euthanized... many of them healthy, well-behaved wildlife whose owners simply didn't have period for them ever again. Even in a no-kill shelter, your dog may be bound to have out the particular rest of his / her life in the small cage in case he is not necessarily chosen for re-homing. If you are usually willing to attempt keeping your pet, there are many things a person can do. Helps check out some of the most frequent reasons why people find rid of their very own pets, and precisely how to bypass these people.
Look at this website : My partner and i can no more time afford my pets. Solution: Call your own local animal shelter, or even food pantry, in addition to ask about family pet food banks. They are doing exist, and are usually getting increasingly common! An individual can even choose your own dog food, which may be more affordable over time. (Its not really difficult! Dogs may eat most of the similar things we eat! ) Your local animal shelter, or your animal medical practitioner, are often able in order to tell you regarding free or very low cost vet attention for your animals.
Reason 3: My personal new boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance/roommate does not like pets. Remedy: Are you really proceeding to sacrifice the pet on somebody else's whim? Are you be certain to want in order to date someone or even live with one of those who doesn't like domestic pets? That's a lovely big lifestyle modification to lead to somebody else. If if you're be certain to want to be able to stick with your husband, work out the compromise. Maybe your own pet can be restricted from certain areas of the property, just like the bedroom or perhaps the kitchen.
Reason 4: My innovative boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance/roommate is sensitive to my animal. Solution: As very long as the person's allergy isn't existence threatening, there are numerous things you can perform to decrease the allergens on the dog. Keeping your home clean up is a huge step. Dust plus vacuum frequently, in addition to use a machine cleaner with the HEPA filter when possible. You can aquire a great air filter for your home that sucks the allergens out of your air. A firm called AllerPet can make a special water that you can easily wipe your animal down with on a regular basis to get rid of the contaminants on him. Sprinkling flax seeds in your pet's foods can also lessen the amount of dander he produces. The particular person may also be willing in order to take allergy treatment! After all, lots of people have seasonal allergic reactions and take treatments regularly. They avoid proper rid regarding the seasons!
Reason 5: We're having a baby. Solution: Pets and youngsters are a new great combination! Most pets are totally fine around children, although they may be the little confused by simply the new entrance at first. You should always watch over your pet all-around small children. When your own child is definitely a newborn, he still might not become unsupervised anyways, right? As your child gets older, an individual will have in order to teach the child to be soft with the animals. Do not let your kid to pull your current pet's tail, stick him, pick him or her up, etc. Many people feel that some sort of pet should be obligated to put program whatever your kid deals out. Yet which is not good for anyone involved! Educating your child, from the young age, in order to be calm and nurturing around household pets, is an excellent learning experience intended for the child. In the event that you have some sort of dog, you might like to do some extra education with him ahead of the baby comes, to show him not to be able to jump up upon you giving up cigarettes possessing the baby, and so forth Other measures might include banning the domestic pets from certain regions of the house, selecting anyone to come walk your dogs or clean up after your own pets when a person don't have time for you to, etc.
Reason 6th: I have produced health issues. Solution: Talk to your veterinarian, neighbors, friends, people at your location of worship, and so on. You can almost certainly find some volunteers to help a person take care involving your canine friend. Having a new pet can be a resource of comfort if you are ill. In fact, many investigations have proven that people along with pets have lower blood pressure, lower heart prices, and are usually more healthy, than those without pets. If the health problems usually are so severe of which you must proceed into a nursing home, maybe you can easily find someone prepared too foster your canine friend for you.
Cause 7: My dog is rolling out costly health problems. Solution: Communicate to your veterinarian concerning this. They may possibly be able to be able to direct you to lower cost veterinary clinics, veterinary schools of which offer low cost treatment, etc. Numerous veterinary offices today offer payment ideas for treatment. They might be able to help you find creative ways of raising cash to pay with regard to your pet's treatment, too!
Reason 6: My pet even now isn't house educated. Solution: If your current pet is instantly having "accidents" around the house when he was once dwelling trained, there may be a new medical reason. An individual may want to be able to consult your vet. If the residence training has only never completely recently been accomplished, you may possibly have to start off over from scrape. For a dog, take him out more frequently plus try to obtain him on a schedule. If an individual are not home in the daytime, and your own dog is getting rid of on the floor or furniture although you are eliminated, you may need to consider crating him while a person are not home. For a feline, switching to the different type of litter, getting a greater litter box, or even moving the cover box to another area of the house, will help. Clean way up accidents which has a mixture of vinegar plus water. This mixture gets rid of the scent associated with urine or stools, so that typically the pet doesn't feel the need in order to "mark" that location again.
Reason 9: I work extended hours, and don't have long to invest with my furry friend. Its not reasonable to him. Remedy: While it may seem unfair that your pet has in order to spend time on your own, it is even so a lot better than making him take his possibilities in the shelter! Generally there are simple steps, such as offering stimulating toys for the pets, or leaving behind the TV on in the daytime, that can help your family pet feeling less lonely. One nice factor you can do is buy your pet a special blanket. Sleep together with it in your current bed for the few nights prior to deciding to give it to be able to your pet. It will smell like you, and provide comfort to be able to your pet when you are aside from the home! You may likewise want to take into account pet day care, or hiring an individual to stop in in the daytime to play with your pets. Also, spending as low as fifteen minutes ahead of you leave regarding work, just using your pet in addition to spending quality moment with him, can certainly make a true difference. You may have to always be a perfect operator and spend tons of time hanging out with your pet. He will love you the way you might be... and again, it is best to be only at your house . than to be able to die alone throughout a shelter.
Reason 10: My dog has behavior problems. He bites/scratches/jumps in me, barks excessive, etc. You may well want to consider a training class by yourself and your family pet. Petco and Petsmart offer fairly low-cost training classes. That can be the good investment! In case you can't find the money for this, then typically the library can supply books on dog training, and the particular Internet can give websites with ideas. Try Googling the specific problem if you're having. For occasion, seek out "teach doggy to stop barking. inches Spending ten or perhaps quarter-hour a day working with your pet, and then consistently rewarding your doggy for positive behaviour, can make a huge difference.
These are simply a few regarding the common reasons the reason why people consider giving up their domestic pets. But remember, every single problem has some sort of solution. Therefore , just before you give upward on your dog, make sure you take some time period to remedy the problems!

More mundane headcanons cause I am not feeling good Because I am suffering from being sick and having bad allergies now I will be projecting
I always wondered how allergies worked in the pokemon world. Like if some pokemon are hypoallergenic ( like steel, rock, bug types) while others aren't ( like normal, flying, or grass types).
I wonder if some trainers can only have certain types of pokemon because of this or if they do that have to take medication just to be near their partner pokemon.
Emmet has horrible allergies. Hence why he uses bug pokemon or pokemon types that don't aggravate them ( like Archen being part rock to neutralize it's flying). Ingo's Pokemon choice is also based from that too! Minus Excadrill which being a ground type Emmet can't be around much do to all the dust it's fur carries. Ingo schedules regular brushing sessions to minimize the dust so Emmet isn't dying by just being near it.
What really sucks is that Emmet adores Pokemon but there's certain types he can't be around. Like Elesa's Emolgas and Zebstrika which he loves dearly. Even his Galvantula has to be brushed daily to get rid of any debris it's coat clings to so he doesn't have a reaction.
If he was in the Husui region it would be absolute murder on his senses. This man wouldn't be able to walk two steps without his throat feeling like it's on fire, his eyes tearing up, and his sinuses giving him a headache.
It wouldn't help that Rei would want to show him every pokemon he's caught, just like he does with Ingo and it's really hard to say no to this kid. Ingo would probably intercept Rei before he brought any Pokemon to close and give the poor kid a proper ear full on shoving unkept pokemon in other people's faces.
Glameow are the bane of his existence but it seems Rei just loves catching and showing them off...
He once asked the kid to try bringing home a bug type instead and Rei brought back a Parasect....he was out for a couple days after that.
Anyway Allergies suck and if you wanna add onto this topic (not even about the twins) on how the Pokemon world deals with this I would love to hear it.

Ask: Allison and Patrick have been fighting alot, mostly due to her wanting to see claire and him not letting her. So she shows up to the mansion all tired, but when everyone asks brushes them off, and so five takes it upon himself to pay patrick a little visit if you know what I mean, telling him to be nice to allison or else things might get difficult.
Thank you so much for the prompt, this was so much fun to write!!!
I really hope you like it 😊💛
‘I don’t think that’s the best decision’.
Allison could just make out the time through the tears in her eyes. The numbers 8:32am shone back mockingly from the phone clutched in her hands.
‘I don’t think that’s the best decision’.
Half an hour and the others would start trickling down from their bedrooms in search of food. Half an hour for her to collect herself. Half an hour for her to stop her heart from feeling like it was hammering out of her chest.
‘I don’t think that’s the best decision’.
She sucked in a shaky breath and rubbed the sleeve of her dressing gown across her eyes. From outside the library window, she could see the city starting to awake. It was a cool but bright day, the sunlight amplifying the dust that had collected on the inside of the window. She could see speckles of it in the air, like snow. It wasn’t surprising really, she doubted that anyone actually came in here since her father’s death; the door was always shut, the air permeated with the stale smell of musty pages. But it was quiet, away from the main centre of the house, aware from where others could see her in this state.
Her phone buzzed again, and with a wet sniffle, she opened up the message.
'You have to understand that I have to put our daughter’s needs first. I think it’s best if we wait for a while before you speak to her. She doesn’t need the added stress of this on top of school'.
She swallowed thickly, and a small, childish, part of her wished to throw her phone across the room. The sound of it colliding with the awful and tacky (but probably ridiculously expensive) vase on the side table would be highly satisfying. But she didn’t. Because while she was many things, she wouldn’t sink so low to throw a tantrum. Instead, she sent Patrick back a simple ‘I’ll talk to you later’ and choked back a sob, eyes smarting.
“Uhh…”
Turns out the sound of her phone hitting something wasn’t quite as satisfying as it initially seemed, but thankfully the rug had cushioned its fall.
“Jesus Christ,” she hissed, pivoting on the spot, “you’re like a cat, we need to get you a bell.”
Five merely rolled his eyes, shrugging. “I wasn’t trying to be quiet, you might want to get those ears of yours checked out.”
Allison saw his eyes flit over briefly to the lingering wetness on her cheeks, and she hastily rubbed a hand across her face. She knew she looked a mess, she hadn’t even managed to brush her hair which was still pulled up into a loose bun with a silk scrunchie.
If Five thought anything about her current state, he remained silent, and instead blinked across the room so he was standing precariously on the back of a red chesterfield armchair. “You okay?” He asked, reaching up to retrieve a book. It was old, the pages browned with age and bound in a deep chestnut leather. Maybe she was wrong about anyone using the library.
Allison felt her phone vibrate with another incoming message. She wouldn’t look. She couldn’t look. She knew if she did, the tears lingering at the edges of her vision would fall. “I’m fine.”
Five vanished in a haze of blue and reappeared in front of her, the book clutched loosely against his chest. “You’ve been crying.”
“Allergies,” Allison avoided his eyes.
"Is this related to why you've been crabby with everyone lately?"
"Crabby?" She hissed. "I'll have you know that I am absolutely fine, thank you very much. Anyway, what's the deal with the book?"
“Vanya wanted some help with her powers, so I thought I would take her back to basics and introduce her to Carl Gauss,” he paused, eyes narrowing. “Are you sure that you’re okay?”
“I’m fine.”
Five pursed his lips with concentration for a few moments before raising a dismissive shoulder.
“Whatever,” he sidestepped her and made a hasty retreat from the room, “not my business.”
Allison exhaled as the door shut behind him, the little brat.
Obviously, life hates her, because the following day she’s awoken at 7:02am to her phone vibrating. She groped a hand across the table until it made contact, and then blinked blearily at the unread message icon blinking up at her like a beacon. There’s only one person she knows that would message her this early on a Sunday, and there’s no way she can deal with Patrick without caffeine.
She slid her feet into her slippers and swiped the dressing off the back of her door, slipping her arms down the sleeves while creeping down the corridor. Thankfully it seemed like the others were still asleep, Klaus’ door was pulled to and Luther’s was practically shaking from the force of his snoring.
However, she hadn’t anticipated that the kitchen would already be occupied.
Five was sat at the table attired in his usual schoolboy look, although without his blazer and sweatervest. He was still wearing the tie though, and she couldn’t help but think that he looked like a miniature banker, or perhaps a tiny Jehovah Witness. His gaze was glued to the newspaper clutched in his right hand, his left holding a fork that was hovering over a plate of pancakes.
“Are you going to sit down?” He said eventually, raising his eyes to meet hers. "Or are you just going to stand there and gape?"
“You’re up early,” she said in lieu of a greeting, helping herself to leftover coffee in the cafetiere.
“Bold of you to assume I slept,” Five stabbed a strawberry with his fork and deposited it in his mouth, humming slightly as he chewed. He didn’t strike her as a strawberry person, but then again, after so many years away, she supposed that there were quite a few things about Five that she had yet to learn.
“Did you make those?”
“Klaus made them, they’re leftover from yesterday and surprisingly edible,” Five paused, “don’t tell him I said that, his head is already big enough as it is.”
Her phone vibrated again and she fished it out from the depths of her dressing gown pocket with a grimace.
‘I’m sorry that things have worked out this way’, the first message read, followed by a rather curt, ‘But I’m afraid that this situation is down to you, and down to you only’.
If there was anything Allison regretted more in life, it was using her rumour on the person closest to her. It haunted every moment of her life, awake and asleep. But she knew that Claire was suffering through this, that her daughter needed to see her. That she needed to see her.
“Are you okay?”
She wasn’t aware of how intensely she’d been staring at the screen until her brother’s voice cut through her thoughts. Her chest felt tight, and she could practically feel her blood pressure rising. But she didn’t want to respond to him now, not when her emotions were so raw. So instead, she switched the phone off and met Five’s eyes from where they were peering at her from over his newspaper.
“No. I’m not.”
Five blinked at her owlishly and then shrugged. She half expected a typical flippant remark, but instead, he blinked across the room and pulled the cutlery drawer open.
“I’m guessing that this is related to Claire?”
“I just miss her so much,” she breathed out, eyeing her reflection in the wobbling surface of the coffee inside her mug. “Patrick is being difficult and isn’t cooperating with allowing me visitation, but he doesn’t seem to want to realise that I’ve worked on myself since then, that Claire can’t go for so long without seeing her mother. I never knew that it was possible to want something so much.”
“Patrick sounds like a piece of work,” Five commented.
Allison sighed, chewing her lower lip. “He’s a good father and a kind person.”
“A kind person doesn’t keep someone away from their daughter,”
“He’s just protective over her,”
"And you're just waiting to hear back from the court about seeing her?"
"Yes and no," Allison gulped down a mouthful of coffee, grimacing at the bitterness, "they need Patrick's confirmation before anything can move forward."
A faint flash of blue and Five was back in his seat, depositing a clean fork in front of her and pushing the plate of pancakes across the table. “Well, I think you’ll feel much better with some food in you.”
The pancakes didn’t magically solve her issues, not that she expected they would. But she had to admit that sharing them with her little gremlin of a brother was rather nice. Even if it was done in silence, albeit comfortable silence.
And when she thought about it, she supposed that this was when their little morning routine began. You see, two months after the apocalypse the family had fallen into a comfortable routine; once a fortnight she would meet with Vanya at the bar downtown, and she would pick up Klaus from his knitting class once a week and then they’d get ice cream together. She’d even sometimes join Diego at the gym for training. And sometimes, when she’d had a stressful day, Luther would bring the record player into her room and they’d go through his expansive collection of 80s pop.
So it was nice that she had a routine with Five as well.
Every morning she would come downstairs to find him already sat at the table. Usually he was wearing his uniform, sometimes his academy-issued pyjamas, and once she even caught him wearing the comfy loungewear Klaus got him that he swore he’d never wear. And there was always breakfast waiting for her too. Sometimes it was homemade pancakes, and other times it was a croissant from the bakery down the road, although she did have to draw the line when she walked in at 7am to find a margarita waiting for her.
However, one Tuesday morning at 8:00am, 37 days after their morning routine had begun, things were different.
Five was sat at the table with a mug of coffee as always, dressed in his usual pyjamas with his feet stuffed into his slippers. There were two plates on the table, an apricot Danish pastry for her, and a pain aux raisin for him.
No, none of that was unusual.
But what was unusual was the satisfied smug on Five’s face and the envelope he was holding in her direction.
“This came through the door this morning, it’s for you.”
It was a brown envelope, an official envelope, and she felt her breath catch in her throat when she caught sight of the sender on the reverse of it. Family wellbeing court.
“What…what is this?”
“I do believe that it’s called an envelope,” Five raised an eyebrow. “I know that you youngsters are always glued to your phones, but this was how people used to communicate.”
“You know what I mean,” she collapsed onto the chair and turned it back over with trembling fingers, checking to make sure her name was actually on it. And then a small, suspicious, part of her ebbed its way into her brain. “What did you do?”
Five swallowed a mouthful of coffee, eyebrow arching. “Excuse me?”
“What did you do,” she repeated, narrowing her eyes. “I’m not blind, I can see that little smug look of yours.”
Five quickly schooled his face into his usual one of cocky indifference. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“If you’ve done something, I’m actually going to kill you,”
“Seriously,” Five rolled his eyes, “are you actually going to open it?”
Allison’s fingers were still shaking as she ripped across the fold with her nail, pulling out the letter inside. Such a small letter for the weight it held. She scanned it once, twice, three times, and more. But her eyes could only focus on one phrase; visitation permitted.
“Oh god, oh god,” she blinked back the tears furiously.
“Well?” Five queried, the corner of his mouth curling into that distinctive smirk, the one that made his cheek dimple. She kicked him in the shin with her socked foot and relished the hiss of pain he made.
“You little shit,” she sniffed, rubbing a hand across her face. “You are an absolute piece of work. I know you did something.”
He shrugged, picking at his nails. “It was nothing, I just had a word with him.”
“You better not have threatened him,”
“Do you really think that lowly of me?”
“I know you,” she laughed wetly, his chest still tight with disbelief. “Seriously, what did you do?”
“Like I said, I just had a word with him,” he shrugged. “And besides, how does that saying go? A magician never reveals his secret.”
She leaned across the table and gathered him in her arms, the hug was awkward, what with the way the table edge was pressed against her hips and the way Five’s face was squished against her shoulder, but she didn't care.
“You idiot,” she said softly into his hair. “You’re an absolute idiot, you know? You shouldn’t have done that. That’s probably incredibly illegal.”
“I just spoke with him, there's nothing illegal with that,” Five said, his voice muffled against her. “Albeit sternly, but it wasn’t like I put a knife to his throat, no matter how successful I find that tactic.”
“I’m going to pretend you didn’t say that,” she squeezed him tighter, holding him until he started squirming in her grip. He flopped back in the chair with a huff, readjusting his hair. There was so much she needed to do, I mean Claire had never visited the academy.
"Oh god, I need to get a room sorted."
"Well, there's plenty of rooms to choose from,"
"A room that doesn't have a creepy taxidermy creature hiding in the corner, that'll only give her nightmares," Allison added. "Do you want to join me shopping later? I'll need a second opinion with paint colours."
Five shot her a look of thinly veiled displeasure. "Why are you asking me? Ask Klaus, he'd love that sort of thing."
"I mean he could come with us as well, but I want you to come because I value your opinion,"
Five's eyebrows rose to his hairline, and a brief look of uncertainness crossed his face. "You want to spend time with me?"
"If you want,"
Five paused with thought, his fingers drumming on the side of his mug. "Can I drive?"
“No, but I’ll buy you coffee after,”
“Deal,” Five nodded, giving her a smile.
"Deal," Allison said softly.

Hey umm so in light of NEVER having scene or read about a character with eczema (or skin problems at all for that matter) I'm going to go over how to write and draw eczema without being rude and making people self conscious about it.
Some general stuff:
This shit is PAINFUL! Like EXTREMELY PAINFUL sometimes
It may look red and swollen
It may look very dry and flaky
On darker skinned people it's not always going to look bright red. It's going to be patches of darker skin with more red undertones
It may look very rough skin and slab covered.
It can cause immense fatigue
It can make mobility hard
It may look bad but feel like nothing
It may look fine but feel painful
We can't stop itching. It's literally painful to not itch. It makes my thrash around if I can't itch
I have spent night being exhausted but unable to sleep bc of eczema and how painful it is
A flare up is caused by literally anything and often times we don't know the cause
It's usually on the back of the knees or the insides of the arms but can appear anywhere. Other popular spots invlude the neck, face, hands, and wrists
It causes hyper pigmentation but it's mostly notice in the summer or after summer since you're tan and the patch goes away, leaving untanned skin and the place where the patch was drained of a bit of color anyways
Nearly everyone who's had it has it on the inside of their arms and has had it there forever. I have hyper pigmentation there however it's in a patchy way. A lot of people have paler inside arms but mine isn't a smooth transition of color.
Hyper pigmentation does happen and it's not always permeant. It can just last until the summer tan is gone or it can take literal months to even years to fade which is what's happening to my arms at the moment
It will come in patches at random places at random times though usually stays forever on places like the inside of arms and legs
If it's on the inside of one arm then it's going to show up on the inside of the other arm. Same goes for the back of the knees however there might be one side that's typically worse then the other. It can switch back and forth but unless you're on medication one side will be noticslly worse then the other though both will not be looking good
It can stay one place for a few years and go away but then show up in a new place and stay there for years.
Medication and shots are a thing that we use
Steroid creams and prescription lotion are also things we use
No one is using scented bath and body works lotion. Scented stuff irritates it and makes it burn. Take your Bath and Body Works and leave.
I'm not just going to pick up any lotion or cream at the store either. I'm doing careful research on what will work best, finding what works best for me, and sticking with it
A lot of things will make it burn such as lotions, perfumes, and even water
A lot of people wear jackets and hoddies to cover it up
I also wear a special hoodie for flare ups bc the material feels nicest and I don't want to ruin my other clothes with all the lotions and stuff
Certain materials are itchy and irritating. (Looking at you wool I hate your guts) while others are soothing and comfortable (cotton and silk and bamboo fabric are life savors)
Random and obscure allergies that cause it to flare up
When a patch clears up and goes from rough to soft I will continue to touch it bc I'm excited and I forgot what it feels like to have my skin like that. I once had it on my eyelids and cheeks and once it cleared up I cried and wouldn't stop touching my face bc it didn't hurt to make facial expressions and it felt so nice to have my skin back
Speaking of which it can and will show up on your eyelids and make them swell up
It can get into your brows and you'll lose hair in your brows bc of it
I don't know one person with eczema who hasn't felt self conscious about it or try to hide it even if it's nothing to be ashamed for
Doctors will take one look at people with eczema (especially those who aren't skinny white boys) and pass it off as a rash. Dermatologists do this and actually allergists have been more helpful with clearing up my skin in my personal experience
You will get super greasy hair from all the lotion. If it's on the neck or face your hair will catch in the lotion and make it greasy. It doesn't help that it can be painful to shower and stuff with eczema
Baths >>>> showers. Especially since there's a lot of stuff people will soak in to help. Salt baths and bleach baths are a thing to help kill bacteria and things like putting in mint leaves and that sort of stuff help cool and soothe it
Ironically most of the lotions I've been given I ended up being allergic to. This is something some other people I know experienced. Lavender is supposed to help but it just makes things worse for a lot of people I know ironically believe it or not
Also it's an AUTO IMMUNE DISEASE! It's going to weaken the immune system and make it easier to get sick. The real kicker is when you get sick you get more prone to infections and your skin will get infected and it's a downward and very painful spiral
Writing:
Have your character have a flare up. Have their skin go from fine to red and itchy and dry and maybe a little bloody
Scabs. We've got them. I have scars from scratching at scabs from eczema bc they're itchy. Your character most likely will too and probably did so as a child as well bc it's a scab vs a kid
Have them go to bed early bc theyre tired
It makes sense for them to go to doctors appointments specifically for their eczema and to have it done often. Look into things like having your characters go to get shots often or doing light therapy
Have them feel under the weather bc of it. Make them take a benadryl and clock out in a blanket with a material they like
Silk pillowcases are great for skin. So are bamboo materials. I know a lot of people who've invested in these including myself to make sleeping and drying off more comfortable. Chances are your character and their family have invested in them too and a lot of household materials will be like that or they will have their own special towels and bed sheets that need to be washed separately from everyone else and need to be washed at the right time so your character has towels and bed sheets
Give them allergies. They're probably allergic to something that causes it and usually it's some chemical like fragrance jn perfume or over processed foods too. A lot cleaning supplies make me flare up and dust is a big one too. Lavender and chamomile are ones which is very ironic based on how people tell us to use those to help
Coconut oil and stuff like she's butter. I guarantee you that your character has or will use it at some point to help with eczema. They're honestly life savers
Have them keep a jacket and some prescribed lotion with them. At night have them put on a bunch of different lotions and skin care stuff and probably even gloves or socks over their hands to help lock in moisture. However they will also probably rub these things against their skin to scratch
Write a character with clear looking skin but hyper pigmentation and taking shots to keep a flare up at bay. Dupixent is a shot a lot of people are using and it works wonders
Gloves when sleeping. Put on lotion and then gloves and have them go to bed and then be frustrated when they can't swipe on their phone.
It's okay to have them feel gross about it just don't make it happen often. After I put on all my lotions I feel super greasy and gross because of it
Have other characters hype them up despite their eczema. It's not a bad thing. It doesn't make us ugly. Stop acting like non perfect skin is a terrible thing. When I'm down or upset about it my friends will hype me up about it
However while I can go out without hiding my eczema and still feel good about it that doesn't mean that myself or any character you're writing with it won't wish that their skin wasn't clear. More so bc it hurts and is uncomfortable then anything.
Clothes made from cotton and silk and that stuff are good for every day clothes but also fancy stuff if need be
Speaking of clothes do not put them in a wool sweater that shit sucks and so do a lot of mixed fibers. There's special clothes that are made without seams or with special materials for people who have textural issues and I have gotten stuff from those places. Always keep a few long sleeves in my closet for my worst days and have a long sleeve from my favorite brand in nearly every color and pattern. Your character will probably do the same the second they find a piece of clothing that feels good on their skin. However eventually all the lotions will make the insides knit and the clothing will be stained darker if you use them for flare ups after putting in lotion
My mom has come home and dropped a pile of new shirts on my bed because they were from the brand that makes clothes that are safe for my skin and she got them in every color or style. Your character will have parents that will do the same. I don't know if it's a universal eczema experience but if your character has parents who are really concerned about it and arw very involved and caring then it makes sense for something like that to happen
Designated flare up shirts are a thing. I will put it on and wear it to bed or to school or anywhere
Give them a designated flare up shirt that they where for a while in a flare up. However also give them a hoodie they like bc trust me they're gonna wear a specific hoodie when there's a flare up
If you're going to have a random character point it out or ask questions, it's completely logical for your character to be annoyed about it. I know other people are just curious but when a bunch of people bombard you for something you would obviously know is there it's very tiring
Have them change clothes when they get home. It helps and I do it and so do other people. Don't want to being things from the outside into the household.
They aren't going to put on perfume for a fancy evening and chances are their friends won't either because that stuff irritates it so much even if we aren't the ones wearing it
It's okay to say that the skin was red and patchy. It's okay to say it cleared up
Don't say that the character looks like they have spots or scales or looks like a tomato or stuff like that. It's really rude and the amount of times I've been made fun of and told I have lizard skin is horrifying
It can look anything from a little bit of red and pink to being full on scabs and blood and puss all over ones arm or body part.
Let them itch and then have someone tell them stop itching. It's annoying but realistic. Points if your character immediately stops but tries to find some way to still itch or glares at the other person or says some remark back. Their parents are going to be the number one people to tell them to stop itching
Eczema is uncomfortable. Have them be uncomfortable sometimes because of it
You don't have to make the whole story about it but include little things like them itching or before bed putting on a bunch of lotion. Have them have a favorite outfit bc it feels best on their skin
Use words like: red, patchy, dry, burning, itchy, stiff, and swollen
Avoid things like: spots (for hyper pigmentation), any animal like description, comparison jokes to things like "oh they're as red as that sweater". Stop comparing our skin to objects and animals. It's not funny. This may be a personal thing but it's a huge let peeve if mine and one of the reasons I've always been self conscious about it
Please don't have people make rude comments about it or have random people ask a lot of questions I'm seriously begging you. If you do at least have then give some sort of come back or have the other character asking questions approach it in a more polite and sympathetic way. It's so annoying how many times people will walk up to me and point at my eczema and go "what happened to you?" Or even worse there have been people who think they're going to catch some disease from me. I've dropped my pencil and the person by it kicked it over to me instead of handing it to me bc they took one look at my skin and made a disgusted face. So as realistic as it is so have those things I'm really fucking annoyed by those types of comments and don't want them in my books unless there's a good comeback please and thank you
People are very mean about it and it's the source for the self consciousness so do your best to avoid that bc while I get the person saying it is going to be framed as mean or rude it's still :/
Drawing:
put down your base skin tone
Pick a red tone off of the base
Pick a lighter tone of of the base
Do the same with your shadow and highlight colors
Now you have your skin tone color palette
Draw on white patches and red patches to the proper base tones you used
Don't blend them out. They're distinctive
Just put them on the inside of arms or on fingers and face and neck and legs and wrists at random in blots of all shapes and sizes
Don't draw it as a pattern
Don't use a splatter brush
Feel free to draw on scabs and dark spots here and there
You don't need to draw it like scales or show how dry and flaky it can be if you're a really realistic or more detailed with your art style
Use references
Boom. Done.
It's literally just dry and red skin. We've all had that before. The only difference is it's wide spread. If you can draw skin then you can draw eczema on it
It's not hard.
As always do research! Ask questions! Just be nice and have fun with it! Eczema isn't a big deal but I can't tell you how much it would mean to me to see a character with eczema!
