So today I ran out of organizations that said on their sites that they assist with LGBTQ+ stuff. Oh, sorry, LGBTQIA+, cause they sure can talk and fit all the letters in their texts, but when they are asked for help, like actual practical help that they say they give, they are nowhere to be found.

Honestly, I'm more annoyed that I expected and was right about this, rather than not getting the help.

Just. If you want to do performative support, or just do legal shit, go ahead. It's another voice that talks about us in a positive light and I'll take it. But don't fucking advertise your org as a place that you give actual support, when you clearly do not, or if you do, it's about very specific situations (that you have not differentiate in your site).

Fuck you. I don't care what other work you do. I don't care what work you have done. DO NOT OFFER HELP AND NEVER GIVE IT. How fucking self-centered, performative and self-righteous motherfucker can you be when you offer a hand for help and then NEVER FUCKING GIVE IT?

Today I'm finally continuing Dark Souls 3.

The first fromsoftware game I played was Elden Ring (which just won Game of the Year, yay), despite having seen my husband play every title before that.

Before playing Elden Ring, I was scared I would get too frustrated from dying a lot. Then I remembered I was used to it, by dying a lot while progressing raids in WoW, which finally convinced me to try it.

By approaching it not as a regular game, but as if it's a raid I'm progressing, suddenly I wouldn't get frustrated much anymore. It didn't take long for me to finish Elden Ring, and continue into NG+ four consecutive times before playing other games.

I then first played the first Dark Souls, which was harder to me than Elden Ring, but eventually got the hang of pretty well.

Anyway, not sure where I'm going with this, other than that I now love fromsoftware games and only ever want to play more of them.

tyr/solaire: he gets the good route at least, but also i do like to think of the bad route. they fight gwyn together but solaire moves on and thats the last they see of each other. in all likelihood they also never even touched nor confessed

artur/lucatiel: two knights going through hell together but they are fated to die apart. artur does indeed carry her memory onward, all the way to when she's summoned as a lord of cinder in ds3 and gives ymir her name and story. girl yaoi

artur/shanalotte: the herald who sends artur to her death, albeit not with that full intention. knight and lady dynamic, of course. artur’s memory haunts her until the day she too, comes to pass

ymir/anri: Man.png. tragically intertwined from the start. ymir worked directly under and was betrayed by the pontiff, & anri having lost everything to aldritch... anyway we know how this all ends (not marriage route tho)

ymir/firekeeper: ummm. what if i was a knight and you were my only constant companion, and what if you were the only one by my side when i decided to betray the world's flame. and we were both girls

ELDEN RING

darda/varre: psychosexual obsession of mutual hatred and disgust. they will NEVER get it together. their goals and damage end up being too much at odds for anything past Pretending. maybe if things were different then it could've been better. darda does eventually kill him

keziah/ranni: Literally The Only Happy Ending Pair. a dynamic based on mutual respect and intrigue. they go through hell and back and end up realizing what the other means to them. they get sappy. keziah does get conflicted when he learns she was behind night of black knives but sorts through it, becomes wife guy

and ironically enough halli has no ships! keziah is definitely somewhere close in this verse, but otherwise he just fucks around

btw nobody caare but in terms of my mental picture of the elden ring demigods and their partially ambiguous birth order i think like. first of all either ranni or radahn is the oldest carian sibling, im leaning more towards radahn because he liked radagon and also seemed. less affected by the Divorse. and also ranni’s special little princess 💙 energies. rykard is the most middle sibling character ever though (saying this as one myself).

and then with the OTHER ambiguous birth order demigods i really like the idea that the omen twins are the oldest demigods actually. because i firmly believe that they couldnt have been imprisoned into the sewers at birth since theyre like….. you know. well spoken and presumably can read and write etc etc and also morgotts seemingly close bond with godfrey. and its possible anyway that the shunning grounds werent a thing yet when they were born anyway. but once godwyn was born i could 100% see marika and the greater will going WOW A NORMAL ONE YAY and putting her failure older kids into the sewers. especially if godfrey was exiled around the same time too. anyway

I LOVE sweet Miquella/Mohg headcanons but here's a super dark one! The Bewitching Branch in Elden Ring allows players to basically pacify enemies and even when you hit them again they don't fight back - essentially you can kill a helpless target. I like the idea of an angry Miquella using this when he wakes up and finds his plans ruined and maybe even his sister dead, and basically takes all his anger out on Mohg. But after a time he gets tired and starts hearing from others how much Mohg 1/?

2/ genuinely adored him and Miquella starts asking Mohg if this is true, but because he's pacified by the Bewitching Branch Mohg can't answer honestly. Miquella gets nothing but love and adoration from Mohg and starts wishing it was real, so goes out to seek help finding a way to end the spell. I can see two ways this goes - either Morgott finds out and tries to fight Miquella for both his brother and for betraying the Order, or a funnier ending - turns out Mohg couldn't be affected anyway

3/3 because the bewitching effect is based on Miquella's blood and they share the same blood (and I assumed Malenia wasn't bewitched by Miquella, so maybe neither can the other demigods) and the entire time he was just… completely genuine and maybe when Miquella hurt him or bled him he was like "yay my husband is showing me love in a way that understands me" because he's literally the Lord of Blood. And Miquella's like "…. what" and Morgott just facepalms because of COURSE Mohg did that

AAAAAA DFHDJF i am 1000% here for 1) a more darker, less-perfect miquella, and 2) my faves getting hurt 👀 and one of my favourite mohg/miquella tropes is miquella’s bewitching powers not working on mohg despite what characters might believe so i am especially here for the version where that happens. for a darker version, mohg was happy about miquella hurting him because that’s the only kind of affection he has experience with. perhaps godfrey’s harsh lessons and punishment were accompanied by things like “i do this out of love”, and mohg took that to heart?

I saw Patience the Bugbear and instantly got some ideas. These being Sonic characters, I like to come up with combat based headcanons and such.

I think that BARK has some latent cryokinetic abilities, and that Jewel is actually part Butterfly, and thus has the ability to spread her 'scales' around.

My thought is that the Bark's cryokinetic abilities actually are inherited by Patience, and she can spread ice and snow from her wings, and could fight with that! I picture her fighting sort of like the the winged dames from elden ring if you know what those are like.

So, so... I have thoughts that could make this fit in my personal lore a bit easier.

So, I don't know what all you've seen of my mad ramblings, but I gave Bark an (unfortunately awful) family. His one family member he has a good relationship with is his younger cousin, Crystal.

Maybe Crystal's the one with the cryokinetic abilities, Bark was a carrier of the gene, and THEN Patience got it? 😈

I haven't seen that particular enemy in Elden Ring (I've watched other people play a bit, haven't had a chance to try it myself), so I'll have to look it up later!

Also, LOL, I love how Jewel keeps getting less and less Beetle with each new headcanon. @bitter-sweet-coffee and I have a stupid (affectionate) bit of lore that TW Barker (a dog, if you didn't see Sonic Boom), is the father of like half the Sonic cast without his knowledge... And Jewel's one of his many bastard kids. So she's Beetle/Dog/Butterfly now, yay!!! 😂😂😂 (She's in for a shock if she ever gets DNA tested, LOL, but in all fairness she might know about the Butterfly portion already. She does NOT know TW Barker's her dad, or that her Aunt Opal is actually her mom. 👀)

Anyway, I rambled enough and my lunch break's almost over. Thank you for sharing these ideas! Rest assured I will be thinking about only these for the rest of my shift and might be back after work with additional thoughts. ☺️

yay! today i wasn’t super hungry! and i was able to eat a little less, too. i’m very happy about that. i was super thirsty all day though. the fam got take out and didn’t offer any to me, which i have mixed feelings about. like, yeah they know i’m probably going to turn them down anyway, but also idk. and yeah, i would have turned them down and don’t really want to be offered, but i guess i just want to be thought of. not that they don’t think of me, but i’ve got that whole food=caring thing that i was raised with.

my damn jellies are still out for delivery and it’s already way past my bed time. good thing i wasn’t relying on them for today. i’m only up so late because the boyf and i were playing elden ring with my friend (the one who’s getting married) and she’s not really played a lot of games, let alone souls games. we’re showing her a few quirks about the series and these kinds of rpgs in general and she’s doing great. already knows to expect getting slammed into oblivion and knows she’s doing fine because we’re also getting destroyed. i’ve wanted to play video games with her for years but she’s never been interested, so i’m absolutely jazzed that she’s finally picked up something AND we can play together. bless her fiance for picking it up and getting bored out of the gate, but still showing her how damn pretty everything is and getting her interested.

ugh the amazon guy is 8 stops away. maybe i should just stay awake and collect my jellies. but i’m fading fast. gimme pakidg.
