Hi, we’re going to talk about Fashion now

Be very afraid

Friendly reminder that when it comes to Fashion, I have no idea what I am talking about

I was basically procrastinating and skipped a little though pinterest and remembered that I had this one wall just full of fashion for the Next Gen ladies? (at least some of them)

So yeah, am going to tell y’all now how they dress -w- Again be very afraid

Kimiko Yukihira

Kimiko’s pretty casual. She also loves jeans by the way. She likes to be like, able to move. However, she doesn’t mind a skirt or a dress here and there as long as it’s not very tight. Since again, she values when she’s able to move around freely. She also likes stripes! A few examples of what she might wear:

Kaori Hayama

Okay, first things first! Kaori LOVES flower patterns. They’re her life! Other than that, she likes to dress elegantly and feminine. She also tends to be dressed pretty formally. But at the same time she also likes pullovers and well sweaters, because they’re comfy -w- Examples:

Mika Aldini

Considering how she’s an avid dancer, she also prefers movable clothes. She likes stuff that is going to flow when she’s twirling. Also RUFFLES. And she likes an exotic vibe to them. She also tends to wear rather revealing clothes (not as much as her mother though). But next to that she also has a super weak spot for leather jackets.

Lola Nakiri

Okay in this case we’re talking ripped jeans and Band T-shirts. Also LOTS AND LOTS OF BLACK. She’s not much into skirts and all that. But here and there she will wear one -w- Also Leather?? Fuck yeah! Plus she likes stripes! You know to get some playfulness into this.

Mona Nakiri

Okay Mona’s pure edge. She’s the only one who can outclass both her sister and Shigeo Eizan on just how much black a person can wear. She doesn’t wears band shirts as often as Lola. And is just plainly a bit more dull and monochrome. Likes suspenders though. And wears more skirts.

Chieko Marui

“Hi, I am daddy’s little girl and I spend most of my time in the library reading encyclopedias.” Chieko just dresses very proper and neat. Lots and lots of blouses and cardigans. She also dresses pretty feminine and can almost always be seen in a skirt or dress. She likes the color blue a lot. Would never wear revealing stuff by the way.

Emi Kusunoki

Another ripped jeans candidate. Emi also wears a lot of leather and possibly a few band t-shirts. However she’s more revealing than Lola and also utilizes colors more. Can also be seen in leggings here and there. (Also lots and lots of jewelry and bracelets)

Suzume Hojo

Suzume is honestly willing to wear quite a lot of things. She likes sporty things and she also likes colorful things to be honest. Watch her wear a lot of T-Shirts with some slogans on them (often feminist ones). At the same time, she does also likes skirts and tries to look a bit elegant here and there and she is also one to pick up a leather jacket here and there.

Also Suzume owns a lot of Cheongsams -w-

Harumi Tsujimoto

P I N K! Do I need to say more? Harumi is pretty much partly designed by the lines “I’m Miss Sugar Pink, Liquor Liquor Lips” from Marina & the Diamond’s song “Bubblegum Bitch” as you may notice (the title inspired her as well). So yes, tons of pink and basically huge princess aesthetic.

Ran Mimasaka

Oh god, how do I even describe Ran? I like to picture Ran as pretty extravagant. And that she dresses pretty much like an extraordinary business woman when going out most of the time?? If you can word it like that?? HUGE FAN OF LEATHER. Likes wide skirts.

Ran can come in many shape or forms, but honestly she can also be just simply quite casual and look like this:

Kiyoko Saito

Can we just skip this? Okay, honestly with Kiyoko I just feel so pressured? Kiyoko basically swings between elegance and cute. And often tries to kind off find the middle ground? She doesn’t wants to look too formal but also not too childish? However she can defiantly be a little extra sometimes (Have you seen her “Let’s go to Paris”-Outfit? Anyways, she can wear a lot of things. Her closet has variety. However very revealing stuff is a no-go for her -w-

Also, as I already stated. Kiyoko also loves Kimonos. And loves buying them?

Moe Saito

Adorable stuff. She’s mostly dressed up by Kiyoko or her mom (they do ask her if she likes it though don’t worry) and they make sure they’ll dress this little cookie into the most cutesy things they can find. Because it just really fits Moe?? A lot of childish things and RIBBONS and animal motifs.

Ayano Mimasaka

Did someone say Lolita Fashion? Red Lolita Fashion??? So yes, Lolita stuff. It makes her feel such a fairytale vibe! And red is her favorite color and so most dresses also have this color! She also has a knack for old fashioned things and some of these dresses give her that Victorian vibe.

Cho Sotsuda-Cohen

DID SOMEONE SAY LOLITA FASHION? Yeah we have another one -w- Cho’s mother is actually quite into navy style and it manifested in her daughter being really into Sailor Lolita Clothes. However she keeps it pretty simple tho.

Pokemon Journeys’ Bea.... Kinda Sucks

Hello again! After a weekend of contemplating, I’ve decided to write a little blog review of Pokemon Journeys’ version of Bea from SwSh. Originally, I was planning to do after we get a bit more episodes of Bea, but with all the leaked episode titles we’ve been getting, I’ve got a feeling we won’t see this lady until sometime at late-February, or even March, so let’s just get this outta the way now.

Also, please note that since Bea has only made two actual appearances in the anime, many of the points I will talk about will be subject to change depending on how the writers will handle her in the future, but with all that said, let’s get right to it.

Before we begin, let me just say this: in the games, I find Bea okay. And in Twilight Wings, I love her character and I feel she had a great amount of focus and depth. However, in the anime, I find her.... a little lame. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate her or anything and I feel she has a ton of great potential. So much so, that she could honestly surpass her Twilight Wings variation, but as of now, I’ve got some problems with her.

Problem #1: Her Goal/Motivation

So my first major problem with her character is her goal. Like almost every other trainer we’ve seen in Journeys, Bea wants to rise her rank in the World Coronation Series so that she can battle Leon and take his place as the world’s strongest trainer. But here’s my question for though: Why? Why do you want to be seen as the world’s strongest trainer?

In many past regions, almost all of Ash’s past rivals had the “what” to their goals: Conquering a regional league. However, many of them also had different “why’s” that added to their own motivation. Paul had a brother to prove himself stronger than, Alain had his whole thing with solving the secrets of Mega Evolution for Lysandre as well as finding a way to cure Chespie’s coma, and Gladion wanted to find his dad. From Bea, I’m literally getting nothing from her. Does she have a master she wants to prove herself to? Well, we later find out she trained under Johto’s Chuck, but that’s all really. Does she have some kind of troubling childhood where she was initially seen as weak by her peers, and now with the chance in hand, she can prove everyone wrong by becoming the world’s strongest trainer? As interesting as that sounds, that doesn’t seem to be the case, either.

Without any proper motivation, I have no reason to care for her goals. Please, writers, in her next appearance, please give us the “why” to her actions and not the “what”. Bea has a really cool design, so this is your chance in giving her a cool backstory to boot.

Problem #2: Her Team Sucks

As I’ve mentioned, Bea wants to conquer her way through the World Coronation Series and take Leon’s place. And how is she gonna do that? With a team of all-fighting types? That’s not good enough!

Fighting types are awesome undoubtedly, but like all types, they have their weaknesses. Imagine if Bea faced off against a trainer who, in turn, had a team of all fairy, flying, psychic, or ghost types. She would be completely screwed and she must’ve been pretty lucky to reach her current World Coronation status with a team like hers. There’s honestly a huge list of trainers I can think of who could completely screw Bea over, like Agatha, Skyla, or Sabrina. Heck, if you really think about it, if she were to face Leon, who we know possesses a Dragapult and Charizard, she honestly wouldn’t get far due to Dragapult’s half ghost typing and Gigantamax Charizard crushing her team like ants because it’s a flippin’ half flying giant. And if she were to take Leon’s place, it probably wouldn’t last long since someone can easily identify her preferred type and screw her over with the typings I’ve previously mentioned.

As a matter in fact, let’s imagine a what-if scenario: Ash using Gengar against her Grapploct, who the anime seems to be emphasizing as one of her strongest Pokemon. Looking up her Grapploct’s moveset in the anime, Detect would only delay the inevitable and Close Combat and Octolock wouldn’t do anything due to Gengar’s ghost typing, leaving Liquidation as the only option Grapploct would have to hurt Gengar. Meanwhile, all of Gengar’s own moves can easily affect Grapploct, especially Psychic. And before you bring up the time Gengar lost to Korrina’s Mienshao, keep in mind this, he was taken down by a Beat Up attack, a dark type move that’s honestly pretty broken if you think about it. Does Grapploct know any dark type moves? Nope. Would any of her other Pokemon know some? Most likely, but my point still stands that, with the right mon, you can easily screw up her own team.

That’s why many Champions and Elite Trainers have well-diversed teams. Because if they just stuck to one type, then someone could easily take advantage of that. Many of Ash’s past rivals also had well-diversed teams to keep the stakes high whenever Ash battled them, just look at Gary, Paul, Trip, Sawyer, and Alain. Speaking of stakes...

Problem #3: The Stakes Are Kinda Small

As I just mentioned, because of how straightforward her team is, the stakes of her and Ash’s rivalry are honestly kind of small in that regard. But that’s not all. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but in all of her battles against Ash so far, I still don’t feel the reason to take her seriously.

Going back in her debut appearance, before her battle against Ash starts, she states that she previously beaten Korrina and called her ‘weak’. And to that, all I have to say, so? Ash has already beaten her a while back, and then he became a champion, and then he beaten her again. I have no idea what you’re exactly trying to prove with that, Bea. Not to mention, we didn’t even get to see who she used against Korrina and her Mega Lucario. Was it someone in her current roster or perhaps a secret weapon? Why would you hide this from us, writers?

Anywayz, going into the battle itself, Ash lost without defeating a single Pokemon. ...Yeah, I’m still not seeing the reason why I should take her seriously, considering the only mons Ash used were little baby Riolu and newcomer Farfetch’d. If it were a three-on-three with Ash using Dragonite, but he still lost, then I would see Bea as a big threat to his goals, but no. And while the lost did lower Ash’s own rank, be quickly raised it back up off-screen by her next appearance, so I guess that wasn’t much of a big deal overall.

In their next battle, Ash used Pikachu and Riolu again and it ended up in a draw, affecting neither of their ranks. Even with a draw, I don’t see any reason to take Bea seriously. While she managed to take down Pikachu, it should be noted that it took two of her Pokemon to do the job, plus Pikachu’s one of the most inconsistent characters in history, so him losing to Grapploct doesn’t really bring in a lot of stakes. And since Riolu and Grapploct tied, that pretty much spoils the fact that Ash’s aura dog will most likely take the W in one of their next battles, especially since Riolu has now evolved into Lucario.

Most rivals in the past usually consistently beat Ash a few times in a row to really set up the stakes for their rivalry. It would add interesting conflict and dynamic in their final confrontation, but considering the recent tie and that Ash only used his two newest mons in their first battle, I don’t really care about Bea as a rival. Not to mention, it took two mons to take down Pikachu, Dragonite and Gengar’s typings royally screw her over, Lucario’s evolution and Farfetch’d’s future one might set them up to be equal or even stronger than her mons, and Dracovish has the potential to be an absolute tank.

Final Points

Overall, with what we’re given so far, Bea kind of sucks as a rival. We don’t have any motivation or depth, her team sucks, and there aren’t really many stakes. She’s pretty much the generic mean boss lady we will have to defeat by the end of the journey. I honestly get a lot more stakes from FF7′s Turks.

But is she the worst rival that Ash has ever gotten? Not by a long shot, especially since the likes of Nando and Cameron exist omg Cameron why do you exist? And like I said, since she’s only made two appearances, there’s still a lot of room for improvement, so many of my issues with her could change over time. I just wanted to get this off of my chest and hopefully provide some insight to my fellow fans on how Bea could become a better character in the anime.

Though, I kind of feel there could be some better directions with her. Even if we get more development, her team will suck by the end of the day, so why not make her a rival for Korrina? They’re both fighting type specialists who aim to be the strongest, plus you could pull off a super cool rivalry over which is stronger; Mega Evolution or Gigantamaxing, with Lucario and Machamp respectively. I honestly feel Hop would be a better rival for Ash due to similar personalities, goals, and diversity in teams. Assuming Hop exists in the anime verse, of course.

Happy @luxyweek yall! Here r some headcannon based off of Classical Music

-aight so there are some orchestras where they'll play the soundtrack for a movie projected on screen live

- au where luka and xy both work as part of this orchestra, luka as a cello player and xy as the tech guy working w the lights and effects and stuff

- they started off on the wrong foot cuz xy was like "why dyou look like a rocker if ur gunna play orchestra" and luka was like "why dyou look like ur in a boy band if ur gunna be behind the scenes"

- so yeah theyre coworkers who sometimes jab at each other

- but then

- this years movie is star wars

- and luka manages to hear xy talk passionately abt it and explain a buncha his theories for the next episode complete with vreew vreew lightsaber noises

- that week during lunch break a large group of people decide that this Friday everyone who has a lightsaber is gunna bring it

- Luka has two: a purple and a cyan one

- xy brings his entire collection, he's got one in every color and even some of the double sided lightsabers

- so they end up battling it out

- they make eye contact

- its very gay

- xy does a buncha twirls n baddass stuff and lukas faster on his hits

- whenever one of them lands a hit on the other they stop using that limb, like in the game ninja

- long story short after luka got xys leg (hes hopping on one foot) he ends up falling on luka

- for the brief second xy is laying on lukas chest hes like, this is nice but no its not hes Luka

- anyways back to their kind of rivalry, one day xys being an airhead and lukas like, how hard is doing sound and lighting anywayz 🙄

- so xys like plenty hard and shows him all the equipment and gives detailed explanation and lukas like wait this is cool actually

- and then he's like I guess I coukd show u some basic cello stuff so we're even and xys hella excited bcuz music (even if he doesn't play it in this au) is hella neat!

- so he sits and holds the cello and lukas like, aight imma teach u part of the opening theme and xys like !!!!!

- so luka has xy hold his hand at approximately the distance the stickers are when you're first starting out so he's ready for the beginning note. After a lil bit he can do the very start of the opening! Hes very excited about it

- so yeah! Xy decides to go home n learn how to read sheet music, and prints it out and under each note writes down how many fingers hes gotta use

- so the next week he hesitantly asks luka if he can pluck on his cello during their break and lukas like sure?

- so xy pulls out his marked out sheet music and tries to play thru the song. As he gets to the harder parts he goes slower so the tempos off but its definitely Star Wars and when he's done he just grins at luka like :D how was that!

- and lukas kinda suprised/impressed yeah u wouldn't be half bad it u took some lessons and xys like ohoho maybe I will, then ull have some competition >:3

- except rather than it being a jab its more teasing/joking and they realize they are now friends!!

- oh yeah they also bond over Luke being gay and xy tells luka that he was his fave character as a kid xuz he made the death star go KABLAM! When Luka was a kid he liked han solo best but purely because he drove the millennium falcon and little luka loved pretending the Liberty was actually a space ship

summary; it’s revenge match (deadly poison - 1) but like. me and mao r crushing on eachother.

a/n; *waves handz around wildly* 2,000TH POST BABEYYYYY. BUT. ANYWAYZ <3 itz boyfriend hourz... this is kinda an... eh piece of writing but <3 whatever i just wanna see my bf

i wasn’t sure how i ended up in this predicament, but one question was burned into my mind: when did mao get so strong?

his grip around my waist was unbreakable (as i’d already attempted to struggle out of it), and i wasn’t sure how long it would be until he’d wake up. i sighed and pulled out my phone to entertain myself, and hope that i wouldn’t have to shake him awake. he’d probably need some sleep after nearly dancing himself to death last night..

he began murmuring something that i couldn’t make out, and nuzzled further into the crook of my neck. i gripped my phone tighter, hoping that he didn’t hear my quiet squeak of surprise.

he then started to stir and shift around, letting out a soft groan in the process. he pulled his arm away, and then noticed me beside him.

“e-eh?! clementine?!” he pulled himself away and i took the chance to sit up in front of him.

“ah... hey, mao,” i looked down at my lap, “u-um.. good morning. i’m glad you finally woke up,”

“w-what are you doing in my futon?!” his face was growing more and more red, and i was even feeling my face heat up too.

“well, um..” i adjusted my glasses, “i came to wake you up a while ago but you kinda ended up hugging me, and i couldn’t get away, so i just.. accepted my fate, i guess.”

“ah!” he covered his face with a hand, and avoided eye contact with me. “i’m sorry! i’m truly sorry..”

“you were half-asleep, mao... you’re fine -”

“n-no! you shouldn’t be so defenseless about it..” he sighed, shaking his head before he looks at me again, and flushes an even deeper red. “a-and hey! your yukata is slipping off! wear it properly!”

he covers his face again, while i readjust yukata, blushing. “anyways, look, can i ask you about what exactly happened last night? while you were practicing with that nagisa guy?”

i hesitantly shuffled closer to him, and he looked off to the side. he exhaled, and looked back towards me as he began to explain, to which i listened intently.

“it’s just..” he frowned, running a hand through his hair, “his words really cut me deep, and i got super embarrassed and insecure and... just... pathetic. i feel like that i’ve made him look down on the other Trickstar guys..

“i.. wonder if i’m unneeded in Trickstar...”

“no! that’s not true!” i burst out, seeming to scare him with how loud i was. “really, mao, that’s not true at all! Trickstar needs you! a-and besides! the group just wouldn’t be the same without you, and everyone else would agree!”

he was rendered speechless, but he closed his mouth and started to softly laugh as i stared at him.

“w-what? was it something i said?”

“no..” he breathed, recovering from his fit of laughter. he gave me a bright smile, and as he tilted his head, some of his hair fell into his face. “thank you, clem. i really mean it.”

now it was my turn to be speechless, and i covered my face and smiled into my hand. “anytime, mao.”

And poor woozi is just so shy and he’s blushing but he eventually rests his head on your lap and you’re like hE IS SO CUTE

You continue petting him and he almost falls asleep bc its just so soothing and he’s purring so much

An hour passes and you’re still there LMAO your friends are just like when can,,, we leave,,,,

“We haven’t done anything else since we got here,,,,,,”

“Fine :/ we can leave in ten minutes”

The whole time you’ve been petting woozi’s lil head especially around his ears

You wanna test whether he’ll wake up if you stop so you put your hand back to your side and anticipate his reaction

Just as expected, you feel him stirring within a few minutes

As you lower your hand his eyes follow it but suddenly he grabs it and you’re like w ha t omg???

“You’ll,,,, be back,,,, right?”

And you give him one last reassuring pat on the head

“Of course, uh…..?”

“Woozi. That’s my name” and you’re tryING NOT TO MELT BC THAT IS A CUTE NAME FOR A CUTE CAT

You: *melts* “ok,,, Woozi. I will try to come back soon!”

And that was the last time he saw you :((((

For now

you arrive at the cafe about a week later!!! But this time you’re by yourself

As soon as the bell rings he’s like iS IT HER??!!! AND HIS EARS PERK UP AND HE SHOOTS UP FROM HIS SEAT

AND WOWIE!!!!! IT IS!!!!

He’s literally about to leap off the couch but he’s like @ himself ,,,chill,,,, ur chill,,,, u are very chill,,,,

And you nonchalantly glance over at where the couch is aND YOU GUYS MAKE EYE CONTACT

And you’re like aaaa he is here!!! And he’s at the same exact location!!!

You: *does a cute wave and smiles*

Woozi: i think i saw an actual angel

You get your drink and make your way over to him

He’s like aaa my fav is backkkk

He instantly curls up in your lap and i THINK I JUST GOT DIABETES FROM WRITING THIS???

You’re trying not to drop your drink bc wOW HES REALLY CLOSE

You start giggling and drinking your coffee

“Did you miss me that much woozi?”

he doesn’t answer, all he does is rub his head against you

And you take that as a sign to pet him behind the ears and his body relaxes even more

You stay there for around an hour before you have to leave again darn :((

and every. Single. Time. he gives you those sad eyes pls woozi let mE LIVE

It becomes a weekly routine to visit the cat cafe and just pet woozi for an hour

The cafe owner soon catches on how woozi would only look happy when he’s with you and he’s just like,,,, do you wanna adopt him or smth

“wHA T???? But isn’t he supposed to stay in this cafe??”

“Look, i’m not that blind to ignore how attached Woozi is to you and only you. Even when other customers come and pet him, he’s still sulky. You can have him if you want him.”

And you’re like ,,,,,,,omg,,,,,,,,

“OKAY SIGN ME UP”

You go over the necessities of taking care of Woozi and you’re walking back with a spring in your step

“Woozi guess what!!! You’re gonna be living with me now!!!!”

And he’s like w h a t happened

“The owner noticed you,,, were only happy when i arrived,,,, and offered me to just take you,,,,,,,,,,,”

And woozi is like oh gosh,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well it’s true,,,,,,,,,,,,,

“If you’re uncomfortable with that, I can just tell him–”

“nO NO THATS OK!!! I’m,,,, just astonished,,,, someone would want me,,,,,,,”

And you’re like omg that’s ridiculous??? You’re the best looking one here????

You take his hand and you’re like “let’s go home woozi!!! :)))”

Woozi Has Stopped Working

But he’s like oHMY GOD SOMEONE ACTUALLY WANTS ME

And he’s so happy that he literally curls up next to you and you’re like oKAY I NEED TO MOVE PLS

So he’s like ,,,,fine,,,, and just stays really close to your body with your arms closely squished together

And you’re off walking to your home together :’))))
