I don't play that game but im so stoked to see new shrek art ESPECIALLY NEW RENDERS FOR ARTIE AND MERLIN!! AND CHARMING'S THERE TOO. Puss has his old look and Shrek looks kinda off but other than that I LOVE IT!

It's so odd seeing charming stand next to Artie as if nothing happened 💀 But it's nice to see Artie referenced again, even tho i dislike shrek 3. And merlin seems to have a good time on the piano XD

Please don't let this flop i spent five hours working on this 🙏

Here is another doll mockup this time Artie from Shrek. The 15th anniversary of Shrek 3 was last year and even tho I don't like that movie I still want to do something for it. There also isn't any Artie merch, the only one I could find was a McDonald's toy! 😆 So I came up with a scenario of a Collector's Edition doll to honor the 20th anniversary of the whole franchise. And well, I never had much issues with Artie anyways, I think he deserves more.

The outfit is based on concept art for Shrek 4. I added purple to the sleeves as a callback to the diamonds on his school uniform. The crown is based on king harold's with extra green gemstones to represent Shrek and Fiona. The medallions are lotus blossoms and connect to bodies of water. I added gold to the boots to give it some oomf. His hair is a wig i found on Amazon altered to make it close to Artie's shade of blond. For the body I used a Descendants Ben. The outfit are a bunch of medieval tunics smashed together. I made a png of gold trim and gemstones to make the accents.

As a bonus I have a special green variant as a nod to Fiona's iconic dress. Tbh he looks like Lloyd from ninjago XD prolly should add gold details but the gems were enough. I hope you like this and don't worry Rhodanthe will get one too!! Can't have a king without his queen!

Also, I think that Kung Fu Panda 4 is similar in away to Shrek the Third.

Mind you, I'm in 0,00001 percent of people who actually seem to like not only the third installment of Shrek franchise, but also Artie. Artie suits to the overall theme of Shrek being an expecting father, with daddy and self-esteem issues. The young king helps Shrek to prepare for that role, since this short trip to Far Far Away Land gives the ogre time to get to know Artie and his struggles and provide him with his own, life wisdom.

Now, in Kung Fu Panda 4, Po has to pick a new Dragon Warrior and become the spiritual advisor for the Valley of Peace, but he doesn't feel like he can take this role when he's much more comfortable being just a fighter. From the moment when Zhen shows up, it's almost a given she will be the Dragon Warrior, but the important part is: how will it happen? She's presented as someone who grew up in harsh conditions and because of that had to rely on trickery and theft, so now Po has to guide her before he will be guiding the Valley. He manages to provide her with enough wisdom and care so she can become a better person.

Especially because in the last three movies Po was on the road to self-discovery. He learned he can be fullfill his dream with the right direction, that he can make peace with his own painful past and that he can achieve more with rediscovering his roots. It seems like only a natural thing that he would now take a role of a teacher. And we've had scenes in spin-off shows and specials where he was teaching others, but not to the extend it's done here, where his an actual mentor.

Early in the evening, Arthur decided to walk through the fairy forest to take a break from royal affairs. The forest beckoned the young king with its beauty. Artie slowly walked along the forest path, enjoying the fresh forest air and the sounds of the forest. Suddenly, Artie noticed a human figure standing by a tree, and obviously thinking about something. Artie decided that he was not local and got lost. Well, it's easy to get lost in a place like this. But as soon as the young man came closer, the figure turned sharply to face him. Artie was dumbfounded, in front of him was one of the most unpleasant people for Artie. Lancelot, a former student at the Worcestershire Academy and Artie's tormentor. In two years, he suffered: he got into trouble several times, twice he was in prison because of his bad temper, and even his knight friends abandoned him, including Guinevere.

The former knight saw the former "loser" (although two years have passed and now it is impossible to call Artie a loser). Artie started a conversation

- You? Arthur asked coldly and with the fear he tried not to show.

“Artie, I understand that you are not happy to meet me, but let's talk,” Lancelot was lost.

"I don't want to talk to you," Artie said sharply. “After you mocked me, I don't want to see you. I don't know why you came here, but I won't let you make fun of me again and use me as a target.

“Artie, I didn’t come here for this. I’m already on the same as before, Lance assured.

"I don't believe you," the blond told the truth. - Leave! Until I kicked you out of my kingdom as your buddies.

“Artie, no, no, don’t. I have nowhere to go,” Lancelot was frightened. Artie was already turning to leave, but Lancelot abruptly took his hand. - I made a lot of mistakes. Give me a chance, Artie. I loved you.

- No! unhooked his hand and slapped Artie. - This is not love. You just got used to me, having changed the mainland or another location, - Lancelot stroked his cheek, feeling a slight pain.

“Please listen to me, Artie,” Lancelot pleaded.

- Leave. I don’t want to listen to you,” Arthur chased away. Lancelot took Arthur's hand and pressed it to his chest. The blond, finding himself in the arms of a former classmate, began to break free, but Lancelot did not let him go.

“Let me go, Lance,” Artie ordered, almost shouting. - I'll scream now.

- I ask: hear me. I'm sorry that I hurt you, - Lancelot admitted his mistakes and began to stroke the blond's hair with his hand. “After leaving Worcestershire, I thought it would be easy.

"Because you were authoritative," the blond muttered.

- I got into trouble, I was kicked out more than once from the city. I even went to prison twice. My friends abandoned me and Guinevere, - said Lancelot. Artie tried to get out again, but Lance only got stronger in his arms.

“When I was in prison for the second time, I remembered you. I knew right away that I needed to find you and ask for forgiveness,” Lancelot said.

- Well, I met! Satisfied?! Now let me go!

- I'm sorry! - Taking his chin, said Lancelot. Lancelot kissed Artie gently on the lips. Arthur, stopped resisting, and stared at Lance in bewilderment. Artie immediately remembered the confession to Lance, which of course he rejected and began to mock him doubly after that. I immediately remembered the love for this under-knight. Artie didn't notice how the kiss deepened. Lance's tongue was already hosting the occupied territory, running his tongue over his gums and playing with Arthur's tongue. Only when there was not enough air at all did they move away.

- Have you forgiven me? Lance hoped.

“I need to think,” Artie said. - I must go. Arthur left the forest, leaving Lancelot alone. Lancelot hoped Artie would give him a chance.

Icons of Artie and Rho

Found a cute little picrew and made artie from shrek 3 and my oc Rhodanthe. Artie's outfit is inspired by the one seen in scrapped concept art. He'd have his abilities from the video game. Rho has magical talent from studying under Merlin during his time exiled from Camelot. I went for a softer sleepy look. Uuugh love these two So much!

The Once and Future Couple 👑🦆

Out of my OTPs this is the one that I want to get more into. I feel that if Artie ever gets a love interest it would be someone who accepts all of him not just because he's king. That's where Rhodanthe comes in. This is what they would look like during Shrek 4/post canon. As the future king and queen Artie and Rho work together to reform the knights of the round table to be more inclusive and honorable. They go on quests to help magical creatures, ogres and peasants, as well as overlooking the villain rehab program.

However their relationship isn't perfect, as they find themselves to busy to hang out. In Forever After Artie even risks putting their relationship in jeopardy after arguing over his refusal to attend the triplets party. But in the end they work out their issues because they've been through a lot together.

I tried to make Artie's outfit as close to his concept art as possible. I made two versions of Rho's dresses: white to symbolize her role as the Swan Princess & pink as her personal theme color. As far as ship names go I refer to them as the "Red Couple" or scarletswanshipping.

This is the flower of Lis, a very representative flower of the French crown and this is much more interesting because:

Artie Pendragon (clearly it is a parody of King Arthur the most famous character of the legends and myths of U.K.

Shrek has a small Scottish accent (Scotch belongs to U.K.)

Another thing I notice is that in the final show. Where Charming plans to kill the other Shrek and proclaim himself king. Wear these clothes.

RED. And who uses this colour from its presentation to the end?
