I was this close to putting an andless list of live performances, because everything is great in a unique way during HypMic lives. But this one definitely slaps on another level. This song is already beautiful in its own right, but the live ver is a whole other emotion. The guitar, combined with the movements of the seiyuu on stage, sends me into EKUSHTASI (reference for a few connoisseurs), completely. When Subaru starts singing followed immediately after by the flames shot skyward to his C'mon! it's bloody exciting! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Celeste and Kyoko are very devoted to insuring that Kokichi and Maki have a happy home to come to. They both had Awful ones so they would NEVER want that for their kids.

Celeste was already pretty good at cooking, so she taught Kyoko how to make anything other than heat up ramen and sandwiches.

Maki likes to help Celeste cook too, so she ended up learning a thing or two. They make lunches for their purple side of the family now <3

On that note, Celeste and Maki don't get along that well. Or technically, at all. They don't agree on a lot of stuff and can't relate to each other all that well. (They actually have a lot in common but aren't able to see that because of the differences)

Celeste noticed that and tried to fix that by taking her on little outings which didn't go all that well. They never know how to interact with each other for whatever reason.

Regardless, Celeste finds it comforting that Maki is also willing to improve their relationship. She also finds some assurance in Maki's red eyes, it's a reminder that they are family <3

!!!!!!! Anywho. Mondo would be their uncle, through him being with Ishimaru who I hc as Celeste's twin brother. When Kiri and Celeste want some time alone, Mondo and Ishimaru babysit and have a sidecar specifically for Maki and Kokichi...

Kokichi sits up front and Maki sits in the back. Kokichi loves the view and often tries to converse with Ishimondo but they have trouble because of wind – so their chats often end up as screaming matches.

Now Maki is much more calm and loves the wind in her hair, she doesn't even mind how mussed it gets.

tl;dr is he a tiny bastard gremlin man (he is taller than me)

long version. so owen is. gremlin bastard man yes. so. important stuff. his soul is separate from his body so he can revive any time he dies but still feels the pain of dying; he randomly reverts to a childlike personality as a result of an injury during whatever tf the calamity/war thing in mahoyaku is; and is just a menace to society <3

he was like locked in a basement or smth as a kid and died and revived a lot and then was like. accidentally freed. and then he fucked off somewhere for awhile and became one of like. the strongest wizards.

so owen is. a very prickly guy. hard to get along with. actively makes people's lives harder. guy like actively antagonizes everyone and tries to make it easy for people to hate him bc he just. assumes they will anyway. and thinks he's being made fun of if people are nice to him. also he'll lie and take credit for bad things that happen even if he had nothing to do with them. also yeah he lies a lot he's very manipulative and shit and i love that for him <3 uh yeah mostly he's just a Bastard(tm)

uh he stole one of cain's eyes and did a lil switcheroo so they both have one red (owen's eye color) and one gold (cain's) eye. and cain's injury is that he can't see anyone unless he touches them first, but that doesn't apply to owen bc cain literally has one of his eyes. and cain was like 'someday i'll become strong enough to get my eye back!' and then has done like nothing about it like ok fruit. also when owen's personality changes he gets super attached to cain its silly.

anyway. this is cain. he usually hides his red eye. he's a knight guy. silly dude.

Kind of an unexpected choice, maybe? But genuinely this song struck something in me when I heard it. Somehow it managed to be completely different from what I expected from Samatoki and perfectly fitting.

The lyrics are one sucker punch after the other - the fact that they're clearly directed at both Nemu and Ichiro hnnnng my poor little heart

But it's also just such a beautiful song. AsaShin as always showing off his insane range and skill, honestly give that man a statue, and just,,, everything about this, it gives me so many feels and makes me all stupid when I listen to it. Damn it Samatoki.
