So I was watching some aesthetic notes compilations on YouTube and looking at the same content on tiktok, and there are so many comments that are all saying "the teacher goes too fast for that aesthetic stuff," or "How do they write like that!?! It's sooo pretty! I wish I could do that," or stuff like,"omg you seem so happy to be studying, I wish I could be effortlessly like that." It's actually kinda disappointing to see all those comments and some creators just letting people think they're some aesthetic god/goddess.

But just a reminder: ITS ALL FAKE! people only show what is best of their lives, and that includes their aesthetic stuff, too. Those aesthetic notes were NOT taken during a lecture. They were taken at home. Those supplies are expensive, and they're not gonna tell you that. Their handwriting is not naturally like that. They had to work to get it like that. They don't tell you that they failed a test or only got 2 hrs of sleep or how they threw up from crying because the stress was too much or how they were late for class and struggled to pull themselves out of bed that morning. A lot of those people are just faking like they're an "It Girl." There is no real "it girl." Nobody can be perfect. We're just pretending to be effortlessly perfect because we think that's how we have to be.

The point is don't put yourself down or get discouraged from trying to do aesthetic notes because you saw someone online who appears like they don't try hard to be like that or you don't have their supplies or that nice of a set up. It's fine. Just do what you like, and don't compare yourself to those putting on a show.

Also, sidenote: I'm not saying everyone plays it up to an extreme, but some people who are being idolized (best word I could think of) really do. And it's pretty clear they're exaggerating and pushing extremes. In reality, it's impossible to be like that. We're all human, but we've seem to have forgotten that.
