Just rewatched the Idiot's Lantern for the first time in ages after just having rewatched Bells of St. John's (completely out of order, I know), and is it just me or is the whole sucking-people-into-the-wifi just the same concept as sucking-people-into-the-tv? Literally a new technology being used to suck people's faces into screens except for the 2010s instead of the 1950s.

#I'm rewatching clara's episodes because i found out that people 1) hate her and 2) don't think she *and* the doctor were in love #clara oswald they could never make me hate you #like i can't tell if the show wants you to think clara/danny is believable as a pairing #or if they want it to feel hollow because clara is trying to act like she wasn't bothered by 'im not your boyfriend'#doctor who #i want it to be the second thing but there are so many lines where they truly act like danny was the other great love of her life #and yet in every scene they share they literally never act closer than friends #frankly clara is too unhinged to be with mr normal #like even from the bells of st john
